Sasha lifted her gaze and looked at him before speaking.
"Aaric..."
Aaric's body stiffened. He prayed silently for himself.
"If you can just button up your collar buttons, then maybe my face won't change color…" At the end Sasha could no longer control her laughter. Aaric stood there completely frozen which made her laugh more and more. Slowly his face started to heat up and it turned red.
"I… You… must be hungry. I will go… and ask Aunt Bell to get you some… something." Aaric was too embarrassed, he himself did not know why he was feeling so. He scratched his awkwardly and stammered while speaking.
Sasha just nodded her head in agreement as she clutched her stomach. It was paining her a lot.
Aaric fastened his steps and walked towards his study room after informing the servants to get food for Sasha.
He sat on the large arm chair as he thought about what happened earlier. A smile flashed on his face but it soon disappeared.
"Why was I feeling embarrassed?" Aaric asked himself confusedly. He was not at fault, he did not do anything to feel embarrassed then why did he feel that way in front of her.
"Damn it! She must be laughing at me now." Aaric was too flustered.
He shook his head and sighed. What's done is done. He could not do anything right now. He closed his eyes and took a breath deeply.
"If you can button up your collar buttons, my face won't change color…" Aaric recalled Sasha words and then only he realised something.
"Was she feeling shy?" Aaric could not help but recall how much panicked he was when he saw her face color changing. His IQ seemed to be indeed negative when he could not understand such a small thing. Suddenly, he received a call on his personal phone. He looked at the screen once and swiped the answer button.
"Boss tomorrow you have a board meeting and new project meeting as well." Remo's voice sounded from the other side of the call.
"What time?"
"Boss at nine in the morning."
"Okay." Aaric ended the call and looked at his dark screen before sighing softly. Again another meeting. He needs to leave her for a while tomorrow.
'But what if I ask her to come with me to the company? That way I will be able to look after her.' Aaric abruptly stood up from his chair and rushed outside the study room to turn his plan into action.
Meanwhile, Sasha was eating porridge and pastries inside the room. As the porridge was a bit hot so she was carefully blowin on it before eating.
'BANG--'
The sudden opening of the door made Sasha shudder in fright and the spoon in her fell down on her legs.
"Ahh…" She reflexively reacted and wiped the porridge from her legs which was causing a burning pain.
"Are you alright?" Aaric clearly saw everything as it all happened too abruptly so he could not catch the spoon in time. He took a cold towel and placed it on her thighs where the spoon fell. He looked at her guiltily and asked.
"Is it still paining?"
"No it's just the burn stinging. What happened? You barged in all of a sudden." Sasah's question made Aaric puzzled. He looked at her with a confused look and thought for a bit, then suddenly he recalled the reason he came here.
"Ohh yes! I came here to ask you whether you will be free tomorrow? I mean can you come with me outside, only if it is comfortable for you?"
Sasha looked at his excited face and understood he wanted to take her out a bit. Since it had been a pretty long time since she came here, she too wanted to go out. Not because she did not like this place, instead she remembered that pretty view while she was coming to this mansion. She wanted to see that again.
"Will we be taking the same route?" Sasha's eyes sparkled as she asked this question.
Aaric smiled fondly when he heard her question. He understood that she wanted to see the outside world. So, in reply he just nodded his head and said.
"Yes. And not only that route but I will take you to visit different places tomorrow. So, do you want to accompany me?"
