By the time, when Sasha came out from the bathroom it was already eleven. She looked around the bedroom, but Aaric was not there. She pondered for a moment then decided to check downstairs.
She was just about to step down, when she saw Aunt Bell coming upstairs with a tray in her hands. She thought it would be good if she asks her, otherwise she will not be able to find him soon. She wanted to see her scrap books and collections soon.
Aunty, have seen Aaric? He is not in the bedroom." Sasha's voice made Aunt Bell halt on her steps. She lifted her head and saw that madam was standing there. She bowed her head and answered.
"Madam, Master is in the study room. He asked me to bring milk for both of you."
Sasha lifted her eyebrow and became silent.
When Aunt Bell did not get a reply, she spoke again.
"Madam?"
"Ohh yes, Aunt Bell you can give me the tray. I am going to look for him only." Sasha snapped back to her senses and answered.
"Okay madam." Aunt Bell handed the tray and turned around to leave, but suddenly Sasha stopped her again.
"Aunty, can you please tell me where the study room is?"
"Madam that room at the corner of this corridor is the study room. Madam we are your servants, you can just order us around." Aunt Bell felt a pang of pain in her chest when she heard Sasha's requesting tone which felt distant to her ears.
Sasha nodded her head and said thank you with a smile. She turned and walked towards the study room. She stopped outside the room and stared at the door.
'Should I knock first? It will be better, what if he might be doing something.' She thought for a bit and knocked on the door. She waited for a few minutes, but when she did not hear anything from inside she frowned. She decided to take a look inside.
Sasha opened the door and saw a man sitting opposite to Aaric with his back towards the door. Hearing the sound of the door opened both of them turned to look at her. As soon as she saw the face of the man, she felt that he looked familiar.
She kept on staring at him for a few good minutes. In a soft voice, she asked that person.
"I think I have seen you somewhere."
Sasha's voice forced Aaric to freeze. He felt an urge to kill this secretary of his.
'How come she remembers his face and not mine? Wait, then does it mean that she can recall her past memories?' With these sudden thoughts Aaric abruptly stood up from the sofa and walked towards her. He took the tray from her hand and placed it on the stool at the side of the door frame.
He looked at her face which was slightly pink as she had just come out of the shower. She was shrouded in a thin mist and his dormant eyes widened. A rare yet subtle stunned expression crossed his face. He looked at her damped long hair and frowned.
"Isn't there a hair dryer in the cupboard?"
Before she could reply he had already rushed to the bathroom and brought a towel in his hands. He asked her to sit on the large sofa.
The third wheel, Remo who was sitting in the room felt that he should leave at that very moment, if not then he would be forced to eat late at night. He stood up from his chair and took the files before leaving. He reached the door frame and informed the couple before leaving.
"Master, Madam I will be leaving first."
Sasha looked at the person's back who just left and averted her gaze to look at the person beside him. Aaric looked back at her and understood that she wanted to ask something.
"First let me help you to dry your hair, then you can ask me whatever is on your mind."
Aaric's words made her dumbfounded. 'How does he know that I wanted to ask something?' She looked at him doubtfully as if he was somebody who could read others' minds.
"Don't worry. I don't read people's minds." Aaric laughed when he saw her seizing him from head to toe. He knew her very well. After knowing a person since their childhood, it was not too hard to guess what was on another's mind. And on top of that, she used to share every bit of things and thoughts with him. So how could he fail this time when he found her giving him doubtful looks.
Sasha sat down on the sofa and Aaric started to help her dry her hair.
Sasha was stunned when she noticed his behavior. After a while, she got used to his gentle movements.
"You seem to be very experienced. Did you used to help me every time whenever I used to wash my hair?"
Sasha's question made him stop his work but soon he continued and answered her question.
"Yeah, it's your old habit. You never use the dryer to dry your hair. So, in order to prevent you from catching a cold, it was my duty to quickly dry it."
Aaric's words sounded warm to her ears. Every girl wishes for a husband who will pamper her and take care of her, Sasha was no different. She felt touched when he said those sentences. Before she could speak, she felt an immense pain in her head and she suddenly started whining in pain.
"Aaricโฆ it's painfulโฆ Ahh!"
