Without Eli realizing it, she is starting to give light to a whole new definition of darkness.
As she continues to ponder on how she can properly show her power to everyone - with her eyes closed all the while, she's unknowingly turning the whole gymnasium into a huge void of emptiness. At first, dark shadows begin to crop up from every corner and side of the place. But soon enough, they gradually spread and scatter everywhere.
Then, before everyone knows it, they find darkness stretching all around them - entirely swallowing that place.
"Woahhhh..." Noah breathed out in awe, evidently amazed.
"How impressive," Zeke remarked while scanning around the black, barren space they'd been thrown into.
