A week more has passed since Anna woke up from her coma and Doctor Vince finally said she can be discharged from the hospital.
"Good morning to you there my pretty strong patient". Doctor Vince said to Anna immediately as he enters her hospital room.
"Good morning to you too doc." Anna enthusiastically says.
"Oh wow someone is feeling very happy today." Doctor Vince said.
"Of course I am… I am finally going to leave this hospital bed and room and also I will be able to finally bury Leo right aunt?" she says and asks Mrs. Swift who was sitting beside her.
'And I will not rest until I find does responsible for what happened to him, Mom and Dad.' She said in her mind while clenching her fist.
"Of course dear, your little brother will get the decent funeral he deserves." Mrs. Swift says as she smiles at Anna while doing so.
"Hmmm! You hear that doc?" Anna said.
"Yes, I did my pretty strong patient." He replied.
"But..." he wasn't able to complete it as Anna interrupts him, "But what doc… come on say it already," Anna said after interrupting him midway through his sentence.
Doctor Vince "…"
Mrs. Swift "…"
Mr. Swift "…"
'But you are the one who interrupted him midway through his sentence though.' Both the three of them thought in their minds.
"But the now is that… I just went through your last report and….I realize that you aren't fit to be discharged yet, Anna." He said while looking into her eyes with a sad expression.
"I'm sorry my pretty strong patient!" he added
"No way I'm staying here for another day!" she stubbornly says.
"Do you forget… you were the one who told me yesterday that I can finally be discharged today doc, am sure the report isn't that serious right? Because I really want to leave this place." Anna said with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
"Aunt I don't want to stay here anymore, I don't." She says as tears begin to trickle down her chicks.
"Please don't cry dear, am sure you will be able to leave soon if not today." Mrs. Swift who was trying to calm her down says.
"Yes dear so please don't cry." Mr. Swift added as he joined his wife in calming Anna down.
Doctor Vince who knew what he said was just a joke he made in other to tease her starts panicking when he says her reaction to his joke because she didn't know it was one.
"I don't want to stay here anymore! I don't!" she keeps saying while she continues sobbing in the Swift couple's arms.
"I just want to leave this hospital already so that I can bury Leo, I thought life has given me a chance to leave and avenge my family but it seems not possible now since am going to be stuck in this hospital, what if it's serious and I'm not going to make it? All I want is to be able to bury Leo before I die but I will have one regret before leaving this world and that is not being able to make those monsters who destroy my family pay for what they did." Anna utters in her mind as her tears continue to flow.
She doesn't want to stay here in this hospital anymore and staying will be the last thing she wants right now. all she wants right now is to leave this hospital already once and for all.
And if she is unable to leave this hospital then how can she be able to bury her late brother, yes she knows he is in the morgue right now but still, she is not happy at all, she will only be at ease once she gives him the proper burial he deserves just like Mrs. Swift said. her parents unfortunately didn't receive a burial that's why she hopes and want to give Leo one
She hopes whatever her last report said isn't serious at all. and she is not in any danger again right now. Making those monsters who destroyed her family is something she is going to give anything for, including her life. it doesn't matter even if that's the only thing she has to do in her life because she will no matter the price.
"Dear don't cry okay, am sure you are going to be able to leave this place... it doesn't matter if it's, not today but I know you will, don't cry hmm." Mrs. Swift said to crying, Anna.
"I want to leave Aunt," Anna said to Mrs. Swift while cleaning her tears.
Mrs. Swift smiled at Anna and hug her more tightly, "Yes, I know you don't want to stay here anymore, but you will this place soon enough alright."
"Hmm." Anna nodes at her after listening to Mrs Swift's words.
The reason why Mrs Swift isn't worried at all right now is that when Doctor Vince entered the room earlier he didn't look like someone who has bad news to share with them at all. "Be a good girl and don't cry okay. "she said again to Anna trying to comfort her more.
Doctor Vince who realized that his joke has really gotten to them too many starts panicking, what if Anna really ends up not leaving the hospital for real, what if she ends up having a panic attack right now because she really doesn't look good at all, "Pretty patient don't cry too much because it is not going to be good for your health if you end up having a panic attack right now." he said to her trying to comfort her because his little silly joke has affected her a lot and he won't want it to affect her anymore and further.
A panic attack really won't be good for her at all right now even if she is now alright and leaving the hospital, she is still weak and still needs attentive care and he knows her new parents will give her that and much more...
