Finally, I can escape from this awkward situation!
I can tell Amanda wanted to talk to me after we're done eating dinner. Luckily Edgar escorted me back to my bedroom. We're walking hand-in-hand to my bedroom. As we reached the third floor, Edgar stopped walking.
I automatically stopped as well and looked up to him.
"?" I tilted my head slightly to the side, staring at him confusingly.
"... Juno," Edgar called out.
Immediately Juno appeared in front of us.
What's going on?
"Let's discuss this in Ezra's room," Juno suggested.
"Right," Edgar nodded.
The three of us walked to my room, and Edgar closed the door behind us. I looked up to my brothers curiously.
"What's wrong?" I asked curiously.
"... It's about aunt,"
"!"
Oh? I thought they didn't care at all!
"Aunt Amanda?" I pretended to be innocent, so maybe they could explain to me more about her.
Edgar walked over to the centre of the room with his hands behind his head.
"The twins told me about it," Edgar said. I blinked.
"I'm not in the house when that happened, but I saw her wandering around on the third floor," Juno added.
"!"
Third floor, my bedroom. She's looking for me.
"The twins told me she's looking for Ezra. I know she's our aunt, but it seemed too suspicious that she's giving excessive attention to Ezra. She didn't even look at us in the eyes," Edgar grumbled on the end of his sentence. He crossed his hands with his eyebrows furrowed.
"..." Juno looked irritated as well.
"... But we can't do anything about it. We need to make her stay here and help father until Raphael is home next week. Father will be out of town to do work. We just have to make sure she didn't do anything for the next seven days,"
"Hm," Juno nodded.
My brothers are sharp. Juno is only fourteen, Edgar is thirteen. I don't think I'm this smart when I'm around their age in my original world.
"Aunty is bad," I mumbled.
Juno and Edgar looked at me. Juno put his hand on the top of my head.
"We're not going to let her hurt you,"
"Yeah, don't worry about a thing little bud," Edgar grinned. "I wanted to discuss this because we need to be more cautious. I'm going to report this to our brothers at school too. We need their opinions,"
"I agree," Juno nodded.
"To brother Sylvester!" I exclaimed.
Sylvester is the best choice. If Edgar could write down Amanda's behaviour, Sylvester would be able to find out the reason.
"You're right," Edgar said. "Alright, I'll send a letter tonight. Juno, please watch over Ezra while I'm away,"
"Hm," Juno nodded.
"Hm? where are you going?" I asked Edgar.
Edgar blinked his eyes; then, he grinned mysteriously.
"Sending the letter?"
"Just you?" I tilted my head confusingly.
Juno looked over to Edgar. "You haven't told him your power?"
"Nooo, It's a surprise! I'll show him later!" Edgar snickered mischievously.
Ugh! I've been waiting for him to tell me for years! Years!
Juno only shrugged.
I pouted my lips, glaring at Edgar.
After our short meeting, Edgar walked out, and Juno disappeared. I decided to sleep.
