Brann was sleeping soundly in his luxurious round shaped well made bed with silky smooth plain blue color bedcover and matching comfy blue and white striped comforter. When suddenly the constant ringing of his phone disturb his precious beauty sleep.
He grunted in irritation as he look at the woman faced, 3d big wall clock with forty-nine pieces of diamond embellish on it. It's was almost half past four, the most beautiful time of the day, when no one wants to be get disturb at any cost.
"Damn ....who have a death wish to disturb my sleep at this time of hour...Ahh" , he growled as he pick his phone from the side table to look who's calling. When he saw that who it was he cursed that person a thousand times before answering it.
"ANDREW JOHNSTON....are you out of your mind. Did you check the time before calling me. It has to be really something important or I'm not going to let you sleep for a fortnight remember that..." Brann shouted in an unrulely manner as he had nothing to pretend in front of his childhood buddy.
"Hold on... I'm getting Stan also in conference...." , the simple and straight words of Andrew were heard through the other side, making Brann awe struck.
He moved the phone from his ears as he look at it while mumbling to himself, "Did he just lost his mind. He wants to let us on conference at this hour of time..." He was mumbling only when he heard the sluggish and complaining voice of Stan.
"Hey ..... What's up man... what made you to call us on an urgent meeting at this hour..." said Stan lazily.
"I don't know but I'm not able to sleep. I want to go out for a drink are you both in..." said Andrew in a calm tone without paying any heed to the complain raised by both of his best friends.
Stan and Brann were completely stupefied by Andrew's reason for calling them. 'He had gone mad..', they both said the same thing in their minds.
"What... what did you just say. You wanna go out for drinks and you can't sleep.... Seriously, Andrew that's the reason why you wake me and Stan....." Brann exclaimed loudly at the highest pitch as he baleful glanced at the beautiful wall clock. He stopped to take some breath before continuing in calm but intimidating tone, "Andrew are you drunk by any chance.... seriously, did you check time before making call to us.... do you know what time it is here in city N...."
"I know soon it will be five in the morning, so what, are you coming...." Andrew answered Brann plainly as he steal a glance at the staring sky which had started to change its color from inky blue to radiant gold.
"Stan I just wanna break hishead into pieces, Aahh... Andrew... Just tell me what wrong we did that you are torturing us like this...."asked Brann in frustration as it was getting impossible for him to keep his cool to him.
"Andrew I'm not in a mood to play with you just split it out what's the problem ... Okay .. do you know tommorow no now it's today.... early morning I've to attain a very important business meeting with my Dad and if I'm late or showed any sign of discomfort in front of those foreign business deligates, Dad will hang me from the roof our mansion.... So just quit making prank and if you are done then let's just let me sleep for a few minutes more...." added Brann in a helpless and tiring tone.
"But Brann I'm not joking and didn't want to torture you both it's just I think your company can ease my pain...." said Andrew in low tone.
"Andrew by any chance you had fallen in love with either of us or did something possess you ... " asked Brann hurriedly as his mind goes wild thinking if Andrew had had gender change in country A. All the hairs on his body gotten straighten up, as weird thoughts keep popping up in his mind.
"Shut up, did you put your brain out of your head when you go for sleep Brann.... I've no interest in any of you and I'm straight with my preference remaining the same...." replied Andrew in a jiff.
Stan who was quit for some time speak up as both Brann and Andrew were just bantering over random stuff. "Andrew , all is well there right, what about your deal ,did you succeed.." He asked with concern as he thought maybe something went wrong with the deal that's why he is upset and have wake them up to discuss.
"Everything went good. My company was able to get the deal done before the expected schedule, nothing to worry.."Andrew replied in a calm tone with no emotions in them.
"Where's Leora ? Is she with you right now.?.. Did you guys by any chance fought with each other..." asked Stan cautiously as he did want Andrew to blow up in anger as he could feel something was off in Andrew tone.
"Leora is in country A, why would she be with me.. and we are okay we didn't have any fight okay" answered Andrew with a deep frown in his head. He sighed to suppress his anger ,as he asked again, " Are you going to come or not, just tell me... "
"Crazy man , even if we want to be with you we would have to wait for nine to ten hours to reach there. Go find Leora or anyone but spare us okay...." said Brann gnashing his teeth.
"Why would you go to country A, to drink with me you muddled head. .I'm back... ", said Andrew in a irritating tone, he had completely forgotten that his return was a surprise for others and her, which turned into a nightmare for her.
Brann and Stan were surprised to hear that and asked in chorus "You are back...."
Andrew: "Yes..."
Stan was impressed to see how good his friend was to crack the deal before the estimated time, as he said, "That was fast..."
Brann was shocked too, as he ask, "Why are you back so early.. "
Andrew was infuriate by the way Brann ask the question to him . Brann's tone and words were the same as Evan, had asked him when he had come to drop Ariena a few hours before. He was displeased as a thought crossed in his mind, ' Is he so not welcome in his own house..'
"Do you have a problem , if I come back to my own house or to my own Wi..." Andrew immediately stopped in the middle of his sentence as he paid attention to what he was about to say in the jest without thinking properly.
"No not that what I mean..... I just wanted to say you are really getting good at dealing things and it's good to see you back so soon. I thought you you would be spending some time there with Leora as it's been long since you both met each other... "Brann immediately tried to pacify the angry beast on the other line.
Stan was surprised by Andrew sudden outburst. He thought that something must have happened here and Andrew was forced to come back and he is upset as he can't be with Leora. So, he said carefully, "Andrew...Are you okay... Why did you come back so soon, something happened here..."
Andrew was flabbergasted from Stan questions as he became quite and repeat them one by one again in his mind.
"Why did he came back so soon..." Of course to be with Ariena, to see her, to share his success with her, to celebrate with her and because he MISSED HER.
"Did something happened here....?" A lot had happened here. He had crushed her beautiful fantasy of this world by forcing himself on her. He had hurt her, her dignity by his so called man ego. He had turned into monster, he don't deserve peace in his life when he himself had brought a hurricane in her life.
"Andrew..... Andrew...."
His reverie was broken by the continuous concern voice of his friends.
"Sorry to disturb you both,.... lets meet and talk some other time. I'm tired.... have some rest . Good bye.." said Andrew in a calm tone as he disconnect the line immediately leaving both of his friends confused and anxious. He turned his phone off as he returns back to his room to again stare the roof.
' Is she okay....Oh God !! I miss you Ariena! '
