"The witches' lair." He had left the half vampire there alone but he knew if a witch come back the man who was just a human not too long ago wouldn't be able to withhold his life against them.
Han Seoyeon could guess that he would go back to the dangerous place and say, "Please drink blood before you go."
"I will." he smiled where Han Seoyeon couldn't understand whether he would really replenish his thirst of blood. She saw him went after his words blending into the darkness of the corridor and felt her heart squeezed. She recalled all the words he said to feel her heart racing aloud in its cage. When he had comforted her as she cry, she felt her heart rest in assured and another sensation bloomed in her heart. Now that she had grown aware, she could feel her cheeks to her fingertips could feel the warmth.
She turned her path walking inside the room to see how Wan Seulgi's complexion which still looked pale have gotten better, her smile widened. She felt as if a large rock that weighed in her heart lifted.
Mrs. Wan who saw her entering the room immediately wiped her tears to say, "Seoyeon, thank you."
"I didn't do much, Mrs. Wan. Mr. Jung helped me a great deal to find Seulgi." this had both Mr. Wan and Mrs. Wan to nod as if showing how grateful they were to Jung Hwa.
Seeing that her parents are no here in the place, she think that Seulgi was now back to her family which was good. "I will be going home now, aunty, Mr. Wan."
"Yes, please. You must be very tired now." said Mr. Wan who stood beside his wife.
When Han Seoyeon left the hospital it had passed midnight. As Jung Hwa left with his car, she went home by taxi. Meanwhile, in the hospital room just right after Han Seoyeon had left, the room felt silent with Mrs. Wan holding Wan Seulgi's hand.
"Thankfully we are able to find her." Mr. Wan rubbed his wife's shoulder as she had said the words.
"We owe this all to Mr. Jung and Seoyeon. If it wasn't for them, Seulgi will... I don't know what will happen to her."
"Don't think too much about it. What is good now is that Seulgi is fine. You should go and rest you have been unable to sleep for a day now."
Mrs. Wan felt the headache and thought it was true, she had been stressed out with anxiousness that the word itself wouldn't be able to cover how she was feeling the whole time they were unable to contact Seulgi.
"I will take a rest in the other room." said Mrs. Wan to the room which was created just right beside the room where Seulgi was.
"I will come with you later." Mr. Wan saw his wife left the place and sat to the seat where Mrs. Wan sat on previously. His hand rubbed Seulgi's palms for a saddened expression come to reach his eyes.
"I'm sorry for forcing you to blind dates." he began to spoke despite knowing that Seulgi was still asleep with her fever. "I just wished you will be able to find the perfect person to stay by your side. From now on, I will not do that again so please wake up soon." Mr. Wan stood up from the chair to see his beloved daughter's expression and left the room after turning off the lights.
In between the dark, Wan Seulgi's finger which had turned lax and was rested on the surface of the bed beside her waist flinch. Her eye moved under her eyelids and subtly her eyes opened for her black pupils to slowly turn red. From her lips, sharp canines protruded out. A mind full of thirst for blood filled her heads. She jerked up from her bed, her eyes bloodily red sought for the nearest person to come inside her room.
When Mr. Wan who had forgotten his cigarettes box in Seulgi's room come inside, he didn't know what had manifested inside his daughter. He squinted his eyes when he saw something had moved and immediately called, "Seulgi?" but the shadow of his daughter was odd to his eyes. She was sitting on the bed with her eyes looking somewhere in front of her.
Mr. Wan turned the lights on, his eyes then met Seulgi's which had turn back to a black color. "God! Seulgi you've woken up! What happened?!"
Wan Seulgi blinked. Once. Twice. Before she was finally able to squeeze out a word from her dry throat. "Papa."
"Seulgi! Wait here I will call the doctors." said Mr. Wan forgetting there was a button in the room which could be faster to use to call for doctors and left the place in rush.
Wan Seulgi held her throat, it felt dry and she felt very thirsty. She walked down from the bed taking as much water from the jug she could drink from to quench her thirst but it didn't work. She felt even more thirsty after the water she had dad i and was confused with what was happening to herself.
She tried to recall what happened after the small witchess found her and though her memory was hazy she could make out a few things. The witchess had a power undeniable different than a human and despite her small body, she was able to drag her by her hand and forced her to drink something which she was able to spitted out some. But her stubbornness only work until the witchess injected her with some unknown liquid.
Though she felt thirsty, Seulgi could also feel her body cold. Her fingers looked paler than normal where her heart felt quieter than ever. She felt something was surging inside her body, one that felt odd to her.
The doctor which Mr. Wan called immediately came inside the room, and performed a thorough check up to Wan Seulgi but no one know about the thirst Seulgi felt burning in her throat other than the girl herself.
