At first she thought the man as a level-headed person but he wasn't. He was only a person with a very overbearing and a sarcastic person. Han Seoyeon in her entire life have three types of people she was unable to bear to talk to. First, a toxic person who could only sarcastically mocking someone. Second, a person who looked down on others. And third, a wealthy person who look down on people who are poor.
Yes, in conclusion, she hated people who looked down on others due to her past.
Anyway it's time for me to act crazy, as crazy as I could so this would end faster, Seoyon nodded at her inner thought. Leaning back to the seat, she switched her leg and crossed it with a cynical look. This was to note, how she recalled every sarcastic woman she had ever seen act. She wasn't a person who love on poking other's while berating them thus right now, she was acting as those sarcastic women she saw in her experience.
"That was such a very impolite sorry coming off from your mouth. Anyway, I have to go now my fourth boyfriend is waiting for me. So speak what you have or else I'm going to go."
Of course, Han Seoyeon having a boyfriend was false and she had only one ex-boyfriend in her entire life. It was the idea that Wan Seulgi came up with, a tomboyish woman who love to cheat right and left to scare the elite man away.
To be honest, Han Seoyeon didn't think this plan would work but Wan Seulgi, her friend is her boss right now, so she planned to do her job smoothly, help her friend, and reject the man. Killing three birds with one stone.
Hearing no answer she thought the man want to back off now but can't due to his pride and smirked. She continue to keep on pushing through her lies, "Yes, you heard it right, I have a boyfriend already, this is my third boyfriend. Keeping only one boyfriend is hard you see? Boys can't just get away from my charm. If you feel uncomfortable by it, I recommend you to go away now because I don't have any interest at y-"
"Jung Hwa." Jung Hwa named and heard her asking, "What?"
"My name isn't 'you' Ms. Wan. I'm Jung Hwa." Jung Hwa took the teacup and took a sip.
She looked down at him and had her brows furrowed. All this time she had been talking but he didn't stop her beforehand or introduce himself. Although the same could be said to her, he had heard her name first while she didn't.
"You are quite an impolite brat aren't you? Do you remember who was silent for a very long time without even introducing himself? Do you think I'm a superwoman who has the power to guess your name?"
"If we are talking about impolite, Ms. Wan did you realize you have been talking down at me informally?" Jung Hwa countered her words effectively.
She looked up, glaring at his eyes to see that he was looking at the dark sky from the glass wall beside them. At that point, she finally realized something that blew her top. Certainly, the word coming out from his lips were very rude but that didn't infuriate Han Seoyeon. Not until she realized the man hasn't seen her face at all.
"Mr. Jang. Do you know how my face look like?" All this time she had been thinking deeply about how she could use her facade well and missed to realize the man hadn't even once spared a single glance at her.
"Blue hair." Jang Hwa replied briefly, giving a cicada noise after his answer.
"Not my hair, Mr. Jang but describe my face."
"Probably a normal face." Jung Hwa replied with a straight tone, emitting a cold ambience to the place.
A normal face? What is a normal face?! He really haven't seen my face even for once! Han Seoyeon calmed herself, forming her thoughts again but she could feel her blood raising to her head. "Let me ask you first Mr. Jang, why do you think I came here for?"
"The head director's- my grandfather's influence." He replied with a stale tone, sipping his tea languidly. "But please do note that even if you attend this marriage meeting, grandfather wouldn't agree to any of your term or contracts."
Jung Hwa suddenly recalled something and saw his watch, seeming to read the time and pulled a cheque from his pocket and pen to accompany it. Pushing the cheque from the edge of the table, he passed it to her and stated lightly. "In exchange, write the amounts you needed and tell grandfather that we've met. You can writ as you like."
Hand Seoyeon shifted down her eyes and trailed at the cheque, her mind felt frozen for a moment before she heard something snapping at the back of her mind.
"Haha-" Han Seoyeon slipped out light laughter before she finally burst into nonsensical laughter. Jang Hwa didn't expect her to suddenly laugh. He faced up, thinking that perhaps she finally lose a screw from her brain to see her taking a cold ice drink from the waitress who passed by them and poured it at him with a bright blooming smile.
"If you are going to meet someone, I advise you to open your eyes and look at them first, you crazy bastard! Do you think I'm interested in you, your influence, or your money? Dream on you rich haughty brat!" She huffed, placing the empty glass on the waitress's tray and took her purse to leave.
"What's the hell with him? I know that I'm going to reject him, but is that the right attitude to speak with someone?" She shouted as she exited the hotel.
On the other hand, Jung Hwa was drenched with water. His black hair running down to his forehead weakly, dripping down drops of waters like a web. His expression for the first time froze like a block of ice with his eyes wide open. Sitting in the seat, he covered his mouth and slipped out a chuckle.
The waitress who was in panic heard his laughter and felt a chill running down her back. She moved behind, peeking up to see that the man was currently laughing due to being thrown by tea and could only think as the man as someone with a screw loose. Quickly, she gave him a fresh towel and left to search for her manager.
Jung Hwa put down his hand, smiling from the bottom of his heart to hear his phone rang. Looking at the call from his grandfather, he placed it to his ear to hear him asking. "Hello? Idiotic grandson? How's the blind date?"
"Grandfather, can I have her personal contact number?"
The four words surprised the old man greatly to the point that he almost fell from his chair. The butler and servant beside the, quickly went to help the old man but saw his hand halting them from doing so.
"W-what do you mean? Have you taken an interest in her?" The old man repetitively asked, standing up to take a seat on the chair again.
"Yes." Jung Hwa decided to reply briefly to stop his grandfather for asking other questions.
"Alright! Wait a moment." The old man briefly took away his phone and spoke to his butler with an wide grin. "Hwa is finally having an interest on a woman! Everyone bring something to celebrate!"
Jung Hwa could hear his order loud and clear from the phone and thought his grandfather was screaming on top of his voice. However for today he will keep up of his crude joke to receive the personal contact of the woman who he met. He looked at the window beside him, the darkness outside the window didn't help him to see the view outside but it did reflected the smile on his face.
