Han Seoyeon entered her house with haste and quickly went to the washroom and tied her hair into a high bun. She looked at her own reflection and took the face wash to quickly remove the thick makeup that Wan Seulgi put on her face. The thick makeups works very well that even when she saw her own reflection she felt unsettled by how different her face look with the makeup that Wan Seulgi wore on her. The girl had the talent but her position doesn't help her. Being a child of a billionaire, her friend have her own problem and she knew well everyone have their own problem. That's her own way of comforting herself that she wasn't as misfortune as other.
As she finished changing her dress to comfortable clothes, she walked to her bed and flopped to take a seat.
In the silence what she had done to a son of a rich family and ruffled her hair. "You're crazy-" she mumbled out. "You're crazy, Han Seoyeon!" She screamed on her own, turning her face to muffle her face with the pillow she finally reflected on what she did in the lounge. Although she didn't regret throwing water on the man a moment ago, now she is completely sober from her anger. She knew she's hot-headed but for some reason she felt like an erupted volcano when she noticed the man hadn't even saw her face and offered her a cheque.
Turning to scold herself, Han Seoyeon heard her phone rang to see that it was a call from Wan Seulgi and immediately took the call. "Seoyeon?"
"Where are you now?" Seoyeon asked, planning on doing kowtow to her for ruining her plan.
Wan Seulgi noticed the hurried tone and replied carefully. "At the house." She replied and hurried, "So how's the blind date?"
"I ruined it." Seoyeon gave a long sigh.
"Ruin?" Wan Seulgi jumped from her bed, sitting to query more of the chronicle seriously.
"The rich bra- The rich man who you are supposed to meet is very haughty and he didn't hear what I was saying or how I even look." The grip on her pillow tightened, "He said that I want his grandfather's influence and he gave me a cheque, then I became too hot-headed and threw water to him."
"Threw water?" Wan Seulgi burst into loud laughter, chuckling with an unstoppable breath to the point she fell from her bed. "Seoyeon, do you love to throw water on people? Last time it was your boss and now him. You're too funny!"
"Don't laugh, I'm seriously reflecting myself now. I'm sorry if you will get a complaint from your father." Seoyeon apologized sincerely.
"Nah." Wan Seulgi denied, "It's not a problem. That's what he deserved for forcing his daughter to a blind date like selling a discount fish! Even if my father complaint, I will ignore him! But really I didn't know you still have the same sickness as in high school."
Seoyeon raised an eyebrow at her words. "Sickness? What are you saying? I have been completely healthy since my childhood."
"That isn't what I mean by sickness. You know even in our high school you often beat up those pompous haughty rich children for bullying other people."
"Ah, there was such a time like that," Seoyeon confirmed. She was a scholarship student with a normal family. Getting into a renowned high school, she used her good brain to compete with the rich students who have endless of teachers. But competing with them didn't infuriate her, if she was also at the same place as those students she would have used all the resources she had to achieve the first rank. The problem was when she saw someone who came to the school with the same background as her bullied for being the son of a fisher.
"I remembered I beat up the four students and sent them to the infirmary-" Han Seoyeon rubbed her chin and heard her friend jollily agreeing.
"Yes! Yes! You're right since then everyone was afraid of you and called you the head of the delinquents."
"I have never known that," Seoyeon replied, turning her head to yawn drowsily. "Anyway do you think it was really fine for me to do that?"
"Of course." Wan Seulgi giggled. "That man would lose interest in you after that, so I guess it's a win? Anyway, go to sleep now you sound tired."
"Okay."
"Wait!" Han Seoyeon stopped her finger from ending the call and heard, "I'm sorry, and thank you." Wan Seulgi ruffled the tissue on her hand to ruffle it and throw it over to the trash bin filled with nothing but tissues. When she took the call, Seoyeon noticed her friend's voice a little sore and guessed that she had been crying. Her decision today for being her friend's stand-in to the blind date wasn't a wrong choice as she could help her heartbroken friend.
"Silly. Thank you is enough." Han Seoyeon replied and smiled softly to end the call. She felt her eyelids were very heavy but she can't just sleep yet. She still had some work to do and things to prepare for her interview tomorrow. With the thought driving her, she pushed herself with her below to raise from the bed and trotted over to the small short desk and sat on the floor to wipe the tears forming from her yawn and work.
When morning came, birds hang their small feet in the branch of barren trees near Han Seoyeon's room balcony and hopped to sing at her balcony. Following the chirping sound, Han Seoyeon heard her phone ringing from her alarm and dazily parted her eyes slightly to snooze the alarm. Stretching her back, she stood from the desk she slept at last night and dragged herself to prepare herself for the day.
"I shouldn't have slept under the desk, my back and neck hurt. I'm getting old now." Han Seoyeon muttered to herself while rubbing her neck to hear her phone ringing again in a different tone for a call. Bending her back, she took the phone to see that it was from Wan Seulgi and took the call.
"Hello? Why are you calling me this early in the morning?" She replied half-asleep.
"Seoyeon." A stern voice intercepted her question, making her face to grow serious.
"What happens?" Seoyeon asked carefully when she heard her friend's somewhat grave tone.
"Last night, you told me that you throw water on the person, right?"
"Yes." She confirmed and worriedly asked, "Don't tell me as I expected the person was angry?"
"No. He is not angry at all." Seulgi replied with a very certain tone, giving a question mark to appear at Seoyeon's mind. "How can you be so sure?"
"I don't know whether he's crazy or plainly mad. He asked my father to give him my phone contact number! And since last night, I had nothing but his phone call and message! He asked to meet you again this afternoon!" Wan Seulgi ruffled her hair, unexpectedly the person who was supposed to back down now are very determined to meet each other again that he sent almost twenty message in a night.
"Huh?!" A gasp escaped from Han Seoyeon's mouth from surprise. "Is he a masochist?!" She shouted in disbelief.
