"Wait." Han Seoyeon halted when she heard him speaking fluently. "Are you keeping me in the position to keep an eye on me?"
Chuckling Jung Hwa stood from his place, having a small grin set over his lips. "Of course not. I've told you before, didn't I? Vampires society are much larger than you thought a word or two from you who would believe it?" He gazed over her confident and powerful gaze that still didn't fade out even after what she had witness. She's stronger than I thought, he thought.
"Then wouldn't be firing me the best choice? That way I wouldn't be able to speak any rumor of you in your company." She dared herself, seeing that Jung Hwa was calm she felt she could ask the questions over her head.
"That wouldn't be good." He hummed making a troubled expression to draw his brows. "You're a Perfect Secretary to me and also since you know I'm a vampire it would be easier to work with you." He shifted his gaze to her and saw her blank look to repeat his word. "It's normal for a boss to keep a perfect and a very capable Secretary, am I wrong?"
Was he praising her? To Han Seoyeon someone praising for his work was something rare as they thought it was normal for her to be able to do such a thing. But that didn't mean that she never heard praises yet when he praised her, she felt proud that her hardworks were viewed and regarded with such praise.
"No." She smiled a delighted smile from the bottom of her heart. "Thank you very much for your praise."
"I'm just stating the truth, no need to thank me." Jung Hwa bent his back a little rubbing his chin to her face and concluded. "This is better."
Han Seoyeon rose her brows, tilting it to the side from the face that slowly grew closer to hers. "Sorry?"
"It's better that you smiled like this than your usual work smile." He declared and went off from his spot to the door. "Since I came here on my on, there isn't a need for you to show me the way out." He pushed down the knob of her door to turn his head, adding. "Also, see you on Monday."
Han Seoyeon stared at the door even as he had left a long time ago. She ruffled her head and flopped down to her couch. Did he know that all the time she was giving her fake smile? No that isn't important right now. Never in her life did she could ever imagine to become a secretary of a person in the highest position in a renowned company. But there was something more impossible. In one night, she found out her boss's inhumane identity and became a secretary of a vampire!
Her matter with Jung Hwa being her blind date was still unfinished in the back of her mind when a new plate had came over her eyes. Everything felt so out of place that she became confused whether her day was just too stressful that she could hallucinate. Feeling almost drowned with craziness over her mind, Han Seoyeon dragged herself to her bed and turned off her bedroom lights with only a side light beside her head. If one is confused, the best way to forget all her troubles is to sleep! Perhaps she hoped, after her sleep, she could wake up to see that what happened tonight was only a dream.
Next morning after she washed up her face, Han Seoyeon planned her day off to be nothing but realizing all day with some review of her works. Giving a good twist to her clothe, she drew out the excess water from the fabric and hang it when suddenly she heard her phone rang across her room. She tilted her head, wondering who called her as usually she only have two people who would call her either Wan Seulgi or her adorable little brother Han Seojun.
Walking to take her phone, she placed it to her ears when a deep voice startled her whole person. "Ms. Wan, when will you be coming to meet me?"
"Huh?" Han Seoyeon pulled her phone away fro, her ear after she gasped. The person who called her was none other than her vampire boss, Jung Hwa!
She gulped, glancing over the caller name to confirm that it was him and took her time to contemplate her thought. Why is he calling her in her day off? No, he called her Wan before, meaning he must have called the Wan Seulgi she acted as. Still in the middle of her questions, she heard his voice again. "Ms. Wan?" He repeated to call her name.
She quickly pulled herself altogether placing back her phone next to her ears. "What can I help you with in an early bright still unclouded morning, Mr. Jung?"
"Did you possibly forgot, Ms. Wan?" He reminded, a very faint chuckle could be picked after his words. "What did I forgot?" She repeated.
"Today you agreed to meet me in Underwater Aquarium." He stated calmly. "I asked you last Wednesday and you agreed to meet me up at nine sharp in the morning."
"Underwater Aquarium? I agreed?" Han Seoyeon questioned and pulled her phone away from her ears to confirm her chat and did saw that she had a late night invitation for, Jung Hwa and agreed at his invitation. She mulled over how did she agreed and recalled that she was deadly sleepy at that time and typed any words from her keyboard.
Bad fingers! Han Seoyeon scolded her own fingers.
"Yes, you did."
Han Seoyeon didn't know what else to answer, she glanced over the time that had turned to one and felt guilty for standing him up for hours at the Aquarium.
"Or are you possibly can't come? Are you in a trouble right now?" His tone was worried. "Should I come and fetch you from your family's house? If I'm not wrong the direction in around-"
Hearing his kind offers, she quickly stopped him. "No!" Coming to Wan Seulgi's Family house? He will find out everything then. She gathered herself replying him spitefully. "I'm coming now! Stay where you are."
Jung Hwa chuckled in delight. "I'm waiting."
