With a blue wig covering her straight black hair and a heavy makeup to mask her original face, Han Seoyeon who hated to waste a twenty thousands won for her taxi fare to the Aquarium decided to use her racing motorcycle. It was a motorcycle that she won after her illegal racing competition years ago, in short it the motorcycle she acquired at her little dark past. Feeling the wind brushing against her face, Han Seoyeon sighed. She felt her work as her friend's substitute was more than what she was payed for although she felt good for being able to help her friend she also think she should end her relationship with Jung Hwa as soon as possible before the vampire know her real identity. Speaking of her friend, Han Seoyeon recalled her friend who would usually call her twenty for seven times sixty seconds was unusually quiet for a whole week after her last phone call. Feeling worried, she decided to call Wan Seulgi later after her date with Jung Hwa.
Walking down from the motorcycle, she fixed her her eyes at the arch building. It was the same aquarium that Jung Hwa asked her opinion at work. Seeing the Aquarium directly, she could t help but praise how beautiful the Aquarium was. Not only the beautiful sky blue windows reflected the sunny sky perfectly like two peas in a pod and a flower parks of lavender outside the aquarium, before entering she could see how the place was made with a very thoughtful consideration.
After parking her motorcycle the, Han Seoyeon entered the aquarium and stopped in front of the ticket gate to search for Jung Hwa. Looking around she didn't found the single strands of his hair. Not even him, Han Seoyeon couldn't find a trace of any other visitor to the aquarium. She peeked closer but as expected there was no one at all. "Is it close?"
"It isn't though?" Jung Hwa spoke behind her.
Surprised, she turned her face to feel her back bump at his chest while his head hovering over her. He smoothly held her waist gently in case she bumped to anything and smiled. "I've been waiting."
"You." She stammered her lips, removing his hand from her waist and took a few steps behind. "How did you- where did you come from?" Was it a Vampire power too to suddenly appear and disappear? She couldn't feel a single presence behind her until he let out a word. Although she had a feeling that Jung Hwa wouldn't bit her out of nowhere, having a vampire suddenly appearing to her defenseless nape made her startled greatly.
"I've been here but you missed me." Jung Hwa replied lightly. "Since you've come let's go then." His persuading smile offered his hand to enter the building.
Looking at the entrance of the aquarium again, Han Seoyeon's Finger stayed mid air. "But it doesn't look like it opened yet?"
Jung Hwa quirked his brows and covered his mouth to let a chuckle escape from his lips. "That was a funny joke, Ms. Wan. I've booked for a day in advance for only both of us, after all. Of course there would be no one here other than us and the workers."
"A day?" She repeated quizzically.
"An entire day." He confirmed.
She looked at him blankly, blinking twice in succession. Was that how rich people or perhaps a rich vampire do their things? Booking a whole aquarium for themself for the entire day? How much money does he even have in his pocket?
She gathered her shocked self quickly. Clearing her throat, she pulled her work smile out of a habit. "About that, Mr. Jung. Actually I've come today to reject your invitation. That day I was quite drunk and don't think what I wrote however, I'm currently busy with other things and also I don't see you as a romantic interest you see. So I'm afraid you will have to back down now. And I'll take my leave."
"Is that so?" He hummed at her who nodded intensely. Crossing his arm while tapping his upper arm, he contemplated with a troubled face. "Then I'll have to call Mr. Wan."
He's threatening her? Han Seoyeon looked at him baffled by his childish behavior but he couldn't let him call Wan Seulgi's father too as it higher the risk of him finding out her true identity. "Let's go." She cursed under her breath. This vampire named Jung Hwa is too sly! "I want to see dolphin, sharks, and sea lions." Came her bossy tone that didn't irk him at all.
Pulling a smile he nudged. "So we are going?"
With an accusing look she retorted. "Do you want me to go or not?"
"Okay." He walked before her, crossing his arm now on the back. "Dolphins, sharks, and sea lions. Let's see them all, together."
Being played and lead by the nose with the vampire, Han Seoyeon exhaled a breath while following him. Frankly she loved aquarium but she would have loved it more if she doesn't come here feeling fidgety from the vampire boss who walked before her. Just as she as signing, Jung Hwa stopped his feet, his eyes looked strangely odd while gazing at something.
"Why are you stopping now?" She asked and looked ahead of them. Unexpectedly, when she follow his line of sight, Jung Hwa was looking at the small gate before entering the aquarium. "How do you use this?" Asked Jung Hwa. His hand pointing the small mechanic for people to place their tickets for the gate to open.
"This why rich people is-" Han Seoyeon muttered under her breath while shaking her head. Finding his flaw for he to tease him, a smile pasted over her lips. "You don't know what this is for, Mr. Jung? Have you really never seen this before?"
"I don't-" He noticed the anticipating smile over her lips and pulled his smirk. So she wanted to tease him now, he thought. "I don't really know how to use this."
"Oh my, really?" Han Seoyeon grinned quirked up. "I heard that you were a very smart one, I really didn't expect you to not know of such a normal device. Don't you ever see this device anywhere else?"
"Well," Han Seoyeon waited for his comeback when she saw him avoiding her eyes. His eyelashes dropped down faintly. "My parents died early, so I never get to enter this kind of amusement places as a child."
With her mouth gaping, soon enough Han Seoyeon gathered herself and pursed her lips. Almost wanting to slap her own mouth, she didn't realized her first intention of teasing the vampire turn to her probing his childhood's bitter past. She freaked out internally after his words but her expression didn't showed that much, she thought to herself. Yet Jung Hwa didn't missed the panicked expression on her face that soon drifted to a guilty gaze.
Now she regretted herself for asking him the question and scolded her own smart mouth. "I'm sorry for asking." She replied again.
"You don't have to." Jung Hwa gave a sweet smile. "After all sooner or later we will get married, the earlier you know my past would make it faster for you to be mine." Baffled she can only look at him to feel a tug on her heartstring. She calmed herself down but for some reason her heart couldn't stop racing loudly as though she had just gotten a rare heart disease.
"Do you mind telling me how to use this?" He questioned for her to snap out from her own shock. Looking at the device she almost forgot what she should do.
"The ticket." She said while spreading her palm toward him. "The staffs must have given you the ticket, right?"
"They did." He replied passing to her for their fingers to brush daintily. He saw Han Seoyeon who felt her hand brushing his quickly retract her hand and turned her body away from him. Seeing her jittery behavior, he found her cat-like wariness as very adorable. Han Seoyeon quickly placed the ticket over the device. Feeling her mind clattered she wondered why her heart was being overly loud and her cheeks growing redder.
