Arlem Ophyris
My children flew over the area looking for a trace of my daughter in the forest, while I in my wolf form and my comrades searched the area. We tried to be guided by the smell that she had, but due to the great blizzard and the snow we could not find anything. After a long day of searching, we decided to return to the entrance of the forest since searching at night was impossible and we could not spend much time inside the forest.
I saw the eyes of my colleagues and my children hopelessly having found nothing the first day, more than half of them thought she was dead and although they did not want to abandon the search, they felt that there was not much hope in her.
We spent two more days on this search, but we still couldn't find anything ...
I decided that, if on this fourth day there were no traces of her, we should abandon any search since, winter was more and more terrifying, and it made no sense that we all died in a meaningless search.
By the morning of the fourth day, we found no trace of her. Only one of my companions fell into a kind of trap where a dead bear was found on some spikes. It scares me a little to think about who created this kind of trap and if my little daughter was in a situation like that bear.
Thank the goddess that my partner only had minor injuries, but even so we could not find any trace of her.
At dusk when we were about to leave the forest, I heard the screeching of a bird. When I looked at the sky, I saw my children who were leading me in a certain direction, I followed them and the closer I got, I noticed a smell of burned wood in the air. I accelerated my steps and saw an almost extinguished campfire surrounded by accumulated snow.
I was a little disappointed not to see my daughter in that place and I decided to leave the area.
But ... the wind changed direction and I managed to smell a smell of blood and when I got closer to the fire, I saw a red spot on the side. I shook the off and saw a little lynx almost frozen and breathing slowly.
At first, I couldn't believe that I had finally found her.
She was still alive! She had survived this winter and had even managed to build a fire!
A small fire had saved her.
Small fire? That would be a suitable name for her.
Although she is only a little girl, she has achieved several great feats, she is like this small campfire this winter, although she could not change the climate, she gives light and salvation to those close to her.
The name of this girl will be Enya, little fire in our traditional language.
