Chapter 65 - The entry of the forest IV

Quinn Ophyris

It has been four days since my sister entered the forest, our father has not yet arrived to the tribe and we are running out of options. Since my sister was lost, the tribe has been very disorganized, everyone is afraid of the punishment that the goddess will inflict on us for our sins. Not to mention, the priestess fled, so not only were we unable to judge whoever was responsible for such outrage, we also didn't have a priestess currently.

This is one of the worst tragedies that has occurred in our tribe since my father took over. I try to stay calm with everything that is happening, but I would be lying if I did not say that I am worried about her. She is so small and innocent, she is not even able to formulate certain phrases and I already feel her like part of the family. If she dies in that forest, neither my brother nor I will ever forgive each other.

I'd rather be the one who fell into the woods than her. I don't understand why she saved us; the truth is that we haven't treated her too well since she arrived at our house. We have greatly underestimated her and not trusted her enough. Meanwhile, she saved us from certain death in the forest. We owe our lives to her.

If she comes back alive ...

No, when she come back alive, I will use the rest of my days to thank you for how much you have done for us.
