"Blue!", my mother yelled "we were worried sick!"
"I'm fine mother, I even made a friend" Ivan slowly poked his head out from behind me. "It's ok Ivan. You can come out." He went up to my parents and just sat there. My father spoke now. "You can't keep a tiger Blue"
"Yes I can", I growled
"What happens when he's older?"
"I can ride him", I smirk knowing I'm avoiding the real answer. Then Ivan and I sprint away to find Ivy, my best friend.
"Ivy, look who I found in the woods!"
"Aww he's so adorable" Ivy isn't a normal elf. She is kind, beautiful, and everyone likes her. Her pale white hair flows down to her waste. She has glimmering hazel eyes and wears a long white dress. Her smile is brighter than the sun itself. Ivy and I have been friends forever. She is always cheering up my sour attitude. I guess the phrase opposites attract is true.
She picks Ivan up and cradles him in her arms. "Blue, you're so lucky to have this little guy." Ivy decides that Ivan needs a tour of the whole town.
Ivan sleeps with me tonight. His purr soothes my nerves. He is so calm at night. I wish I could sleep that calmly, but I couldn't shake the sensation that something bad was about to happen.
