Daisy and Xavier went to StarArt in the morning. Daisy went to discuss about her coming jobs with Blake. She knocked on the door and then entered. Blake was sitting on his chair with many documents on the desk.
"Daisy, I have a new photoshoot for you on Halloween. It will be next week on 24th. And the commercial shoot will be in four days. As for your film shoot, it will start from 15th November", Blake informed her to which she gave nods.
"You've to give your best in the movie. It's your debut film", he said looking at her. "Yes, brother. I will give my best and maje bad wolf proud", she said with determination.
Blake stared at the girl in front of him and thought, Little girl, you don't have to do anything, your bad wolf is already going crazy over you. He declined the best actress and casted you for this big budget film without caring about money.
"So that's all", he said. She gave a nod and smiled. "I'll go to bad wolf then", she said and walked out of the office. She took the private lift to the CEO'S office.
She entered the office and found Xavier signing some documents. He looked up and smiled. She returned the smile and sat on the couch. She took some magazine and started reading without disturbing him.
The two went to the restaurant to have lunch then came back. Xavier seemed to be very busy today. Since the year was coming to end soon, there was more work in StarArt as he got many invitations from many award ceremonies and shows.
"Babygirl, I'll be leaving for France tonight. Do you want to stay at my family mansion with my family? I'll drop you on the way", Xavier asked looking towards Daisy who was doing some work on her laptop sitting on the couch. She looked up and thought for a while.
"I don't want you to go", she said in a low tone. "Come here", he said. She stood up and walked to him. He pulled her on his laps and stroked her hairs. "Babygirl, I'll come back in a week. I'll get you many gifts", he said as if convincing a five year old child.
She shook her head and wrapped her arms around his waist as she leaned her head on his chest. He rested his chin on top of her head and placed a kiss there. "I don't want gifts. I want to go with you", she whined.
"Babygirl, I'll be busy with meetings there so you'll get bored. Instead stay at my parents' place and enjoy for sometimes as later you'll be busy with your work", he said while stroking her hairs gently.
She didn't say anything and just snuggled closer to him as if trying to take as much warmth as possible from his body. "Don't work too much and rest. Miss me a lot. Get me many gifts. Call me when you're free or I'll be angry", she murmured into his chest.
"Got it, my little wife", he said and kissed on her forehead. "Also, eat properly", she said like a responsible wife. "You too", he said to which she nodded. Suddenly his mobile rang. He took his mobile and picked the call.
"Xavier, come home. Your grandfather is back and is really angry", Xavier's father informed. "Okay", Xavier said and hung up. "What happened, bad wolf?", Daisy asked looking at his face.
"My grandfather is back from his trip and wants to see us", he informed. "Will he like me?", Daisy asked with uncertainty. "Of course, babygirl. You're so adorable that no one can hate you", he said with an encouraging smile.
She gave a not so confident smile. The two walked out of StarArt and got into the car. As the driver drove, Daisy felt more and more nervous. Xavier saw through her and held her hand in his bigger hand.
"He will love you. Trust me", he said with a gentle smile. She didn't say anything and bite her lips. Xavier pulled her towards him and gave a gentle kiss on her lips. "I'm saying he will love you", he said. She nodded.
They reached the mansion and walked inside. Daisy held onto Xavier's arm tightly in nervousness. Xavier looked down at her and patted on her hand as if saying not to worry too much.
As soon as they entered the mansion, Xavier's mom hugged Daisy and smiled. Daisy hugged back and greeted his mom. "Come inside, sweetie", his mom said with a warm smile. Daisy felt some ease looking at his mother as if it was her own mom.
"Finally, you remember this old man", a deep and old voice echoed in the living area. An old man sat on the sofa. He had a strong aura around him. Xavier walked towards his grandfather and stood in front of him.
Xavier has always been his grandfather's favourite. "Grandpa, when did you come back?", Xavier asked in a polite way. "I came to know that you got married", Grandpa asked. Xavier nodded and turned to Daisy.
Daisy came forward and greeted politely. Everyone were quiet only the old man and Daisy spoke. "What's your name?", Grandpa asked in a stern tone. Daisy didn't dare look into his eyes and kept her eyes low.
"Daisy Evans", Daisy said in an almost inaudible voice. "Daisy Knight", Xavier corrected her. "I didn't ask you", Grandpa said sternly to Xavier. Xavier shrugged his shoulders casually.
"Why do you think I'll approve you to be my grandson's wife?", grandpa asked coldly sending shivers down Daisy's spine. Daisy didn't dare speak loudly or look up. "I love bad wolf", she said in a very low tone.
"So? There are many women out there who love my grandson. Does that mean anyone can marry him? There are much more capable women in this world, why do you think I'll approve you?", his grandpa asked in a very cold voice. Daisy lowered her head more.
He doesn't like me at all. Will he ask me to leave? But I don't want to leave bad wolf. I love him. My bad wolf won't leave me he said but what if his grandpa asks him to leave me? He said his grandpa is really close to him. Daisy thought as she felt her heart ache.
"If I ask you to leave, will you leave my grandson?", grandpa asked sternly. Daisy immediately looked up and shook her head vigorously. "Please don't send me away. I love him. I won't be able to live without him", she said as tears started welling in her eyes out of fear of losing the love of her life.
Xavier noticed the change in her voice and his heart ached for her. He removed his gloves and pulled her towards him as he gently wiped her tears. "Don't cry, babygirl", he said in a sad tone.
Everyone present were shocked to see Xavier's change of voice. He was the emotionless son of Knight family but this girl pulled out his every emotion. Not only did she brought out his emotions but even made him give up on his ego for her.
"I'm still present here", grandpa said sternly. Xavier turned to his grandpa and said, "Grandpa, I respect you and love you but I won't allow you to hurt her. Even if you don't approve her, I'm more than capable to take care of her for the rest of the life."
"Keep your mouth shut", grandpa glared at Xavier. "Come here", he said to Daisy. Daisy looked at Xavier then grandpa and walked closer to him. "Sit here", grandpa ordered while patting the space on the sofa beside him.
Daisy sat down on the sofa. Grandpa raised his hand towards Daisy to which she shut her eyes tightly thinking he was to slap her but when she didn't feel any pain she slowly opened her eyes. Grandpa lovingly patted her head and was smiling.
"Little girl, I approved you as soon as I saw your photo. I was just joking. Don't be scared of me. I'm happy that this cold grandson of mine got someone who can bring out his emotions", grandpa said in gentle voice.
Daisy looked up as she sniffled slowly. "I'm sorry for scaring you", grandpa said and stroked her hairs. She burst into tears and started crying. Everyone around got worried for her.
"What's wrong, babygirl?", Xavier came forward and knelt in front of her. "Bad wolf, everyone is so good in your family. I love them", she said making everyone chuckle. "Sis in law is so cute", Aden said.
"We don't have a little sister but now we got a little sis in law", Nick said with a smile and Aden agreed. "We will protect our precious little sis in law at all cost", Aden said with determination. "You all better do. My daughter is of course very precious", Xavier's dad said.
"My granddaughter in law is really adorable and nice. If anyone bullies you just come to me. Even I'm old now but I still have powers", grandpa said while patting Daisy's head. "Then who am I?", Xavier asked as everyone were siding with Daisy.
"Emotionless cold and controlling freak", Nick muttered to which Xavier glared at him. "See, babygirl. I told you grandpa will love you and you got all my brothers and family in your support", Xavier said looking at Daisy who nodded.
"I've my family that loves me", she said with a bright smile. Everyone nodded and smiled. "My grandpa too loved me but he left me like momma", Daisy said in a sad tone. "So what? You have me now. You're not just my granddaughter in law but my granddaughter itself", grandpa said with a smile.
"As for your momma, I'm your momma now. You're our family", Xavier's mom said with a smile. "Our precious little family member", Xavier's brothers said. "We will protect you and take care of you our precious little daughter/ sister/ granddaughter/ babygirl", everyone said in unison.
Daisy felt warm in her heart.
Daisy turned to grandpa and hugged him. "Thank you, poppy. Oh, can I call you poppy or big paw because I used to address my grandpa like that?", she asked looking up at his face. "That's great. Everyone in the family calls me grandpa making me look older only you care for me. I love the names", grandpa said patting her head.
Daisy felt really happy and warm in this family. She was grateful to god and Xavier as she met him. He gave her such a loving and caring family. She got elder brother in laws who were more like her own brothers that are ready to protect her anytime. She got a new mom who's just as loving as her own mom. She got everything and it all thanks to Xavier.
Xavier was also happy to see Daisy smile. He was glad that he could give her the happiness she deserved even though now he felt like an outsider in his own family. Everyone were focused on Daisy and ignored him but he didn't mind until she was happy.
