Next morning, Daisy woke up and got ready. She put on a skater dark skirt and maroon off shoulder top with boots and black stocking. Her hairs were let down.
Everyone had their breakfast together. Since Xavier is out of the city, being the Vice President, Nick has to take care of Knight Groups while Aden being the Vice President of StarArt has to focus there.
"Little girl, we will leave in 20 minutes", Grandpa said looking at Daisy who was nervous to meet her family. She has actually never met her mom's family. Her dad always said that they don't like her dad and herself.
Later, when they were driving to the Davis family mansion Daisy was very nervous. "Poppy, will they be upset if we go without informing?", Daisy asked. "Don't worry, I asked my assistant to send them the message that we were coming", Grandpa said.
The car stopped somewhat away from the gate of Davis mansion. It was a private estate. The gates were huge and royal just like Knight family mansion's gates. Davis' are also one of the prestigious family.
Daisy gave a confused look as to why the car didn't go in. "I want you to go first. Don't worry, they won't do anything to you or their reputation will be ruined. I'll come after 15 minutes. I want to see how they will treat you. I'll not spare them if they treat you badly", grandpa assured her.
Daisy gave a slight nod and got down the car. She walked to the gate but the guards stopped her. "I'm Daisy. My mom was the youngest daughter of former Chairman", Daisy said looking at the guards.
The guards looked at each other and whispered something in each others ears then allowed her to go in. There were rumours about the youngest daughter of Davis being kicked out of the family years back.
Daisy walked inside and stood in front of the main door of the mansion. It was a huge mansion. Daisy pressed the door bell and soon a maid in her twenties opened the door. "I'm Daisy. Can you call the Chairman?", Daisy said politely.
"Who's it?", came a young voice from behind the maid. A girl in her mid twenties appeared in front of Daisy. The girl looked a bit similar to Daisy Daisy was more mature. "Third miss, this girl wants to meet Chairman", the maid bowed respectfully.
"Let me see", the girl said and came forward but before she could see Daisy her mobile rang. It was an important call so she had to attend it and left. The maid turned to Daisy. "Miss, come in", the maid said politely.
Daisy came inside and sat on the sofa quietly which was opposite to her personality. Suddenly, a lady in her forties entered and saw Daisy. "Are you Daisy?", the lady asked coming forward. Daisy stood up and nodded.
The lady smiled warmly as tears welled in her eyes. The lady hugged Daisy catching her off guard. "You're really Daisy. You're grown up. Last time I saw you when you are only 2 months. You're so pretty. Wait, let me call Harold. He will be happy", the lady said and picked the mobile and called someone.
Daisy was caught too off guard. Soon, many people entered the mansion. Three middle aged man came, two ladies, six young men and three young girls. The eldest middle aged man came forward and hugged Daisy. Everyone were staring at Daisy with tearful eyes.
"My little niece, you're finally back to your family. We missed you so much", the eldest of all said. They all introduced themselves to Daisy at first. Daisy had three uncles. Parker and Emma were her first uncle and aunt then Harold and Rita and then Adam and Fiona.
Parker (first uncle) had four kids - Julia, first daughter of Davis (age: 36); Noah, first son (age: 33) ; Leo, third son(age: 30); Alice, third daughter (age: 25).
Harold (second uncle) had three kids - Samuel, second son of the family (age: 31); Jennifer, second daughter (age: 29. Younger than twins by some months); Luis, sixth son (age: 27).
Adam had three kids - Alan and Alex (twins. Age: 29) fourth and fifth sons; Ana, fourth daughter (age: 24).
All the cousins of Daisy hugged her tightly. Julia wasn't in the city so she wasn't present. "Our little sister is so cute", Alex said with a smile. Daisy smiled back.
"You guys don't hate me?", Daisy asked looking at all the happy faces. "Hate? Why would we hate you? You're the youngest daughter in the whole Davis family", Harold said as he wiped his tears.
"So you all are happy to see me?", she asked. "Happy? We can't describe our happiness, baby sister. You know we all were dying to see you in person", Samuel said with a wide smile. Even Daisy's sister in laws were happy to see her.
Noah, Samuel, Leo, Julia and Alan were married and except Alan the other four have kids too. Julia has three kids: two boys and a girl. Ronald has a boy and a girl and Samuel has two boys. Leo has a boy.
No in Davis family saw Daisy after Daisy was 2 months. Even her cousins have never seen her since she was born. They would see her in photos which their investigators gave them that were clicked from far away.
"I thought you all hate me", Daisy said in a low tone. "How can we hate our only little sister?", Noah embraced her. Daisy started crying looking at all the love she was getting in her family. She never thought that everyone loved her so much and she kept misunderstanding them.
Looking at her crying self, everyone started consoling her. "Don't cry, baby sister. We are here. Forget everything as now we are together", Ana said and everyone hugged her more like squeezed her in between. Daisy chuckled between sobs.
All of a sudden, Daisy's mobile rang. Everyone moved aside and allowed to pick up the call. It was Xavier who called. "Bad wolf", Daisy picked the call while she sniffled. Her brothers and sisters made her sit on the sofa as they wiped her tears and stroked her hairs.
"What happened, babygirl? Who made you cry? Tell me the name. I'll punish them all", Xavier was sitting in a relaxed position on the chair but as soon as he heard her sniffle he sat up straight. "Don't worry. I'm okay. I'll call you in some times", she said.
"You sure, you're okay? Should I come back, babygirl? It's not even been 24 hours that I left and you're already crying", his heart ached. "I'm fine. I was crying out of happiness", she answered in a calm tone. "Tell me the reason as well so I'll also cry", he said and relaxes hearing her calm voice.
"I'll tell you afterwards. I'm hanging up. Take care, bad wolf. And don't work too much", she said and hung up. Her cousins stared at her. "Who's bad wolf?", Jennifer asked teasingly as she sipped some water.
"My hubby", Daisy answered and Jennifer spat all the water as she choked and started coughing. "Your hubby?", Luis asked with wide eyes. "You guys are too much these days. Calling boyfriend your hubby", Fiona shook her head.
"Who's that guy? Tell me I'll make sure he won't annoy you anymore", Noah said in anger. "No, no. He doesn't annoys me. He's not boyfriend, I'm telling the truth. We are married", Daisy said looking at everyone.
Before anyone could respond a maid informed that the old master of Knight Family is here. Daisy stood up and hugged the old master. "Poppy, you were right. They didn't treat me badly. I was wrong about them hating me. They love me", she said looking at Grandpa.
The old master patted her head lovingly and nodded. Parker came forward and greeted the old man. "Princess, do you know him?", Parker asked looking at Daisy who gave a nod.
"He's bad wolf's grandpa and mine too", she answered with a smile. "You married his grandson?", Adam asked. Daisy nodded. "Whom did you marry, baby sister?", Leo asked.
"She's married to Xavier, my eldest grandson", the old man answered. "What?! How come we didn't knew about this?", Alice asked. "You think my grandson will let out any information that he doesn't wants other to know?", Grandpa chuckled. Everyone agreed.
Even though Daisy was married in the Knight family, one of the best family and best friend of Davis yet Daisy's cousins were not convinced. They took her with them and interrogated her properly. After an hour they were convinced that Xavier was good for her.
On the other side, the old master and Daisy's uncles were talking. Her uncles came to know about about all the oppression and how Daisy was bullied by her stepmother and stepsister. Her uncles were really angry as well as sad that their precious niece had to go through all that.
"We will announce tomorrow that she is our niece and will give everyone a warning not to mess with her", Parker said in a cold voice. "Uncle, let Daisy stay at our home for now. She came here the first time. We have missed a lot in these years", Harold requested.
"Okay, I'll take my leave then. I'm glad that you all haven't changed and still care", Grandpa said with a smile. The two families have been friends for three generations and are really close to each other.
Grandpa said goodbye to Daisy and then left.
