Ase the general of the camp walks forward and begins to attempt to give a speech, While in front of the dead bodies. She kept on looking back toward the huge number of dead on our side and the number of dead on the unnormal wolves.
`` We've been strong, strong enough to endure a tribulation sent to us by the gods and as a result of our strength. We've been given a berserker! `` Ase said this in the middle of her speech. Which wasn't going well until she pointed at folke.
Folke's deed on this battlefield had not been neglected and his name and battle prowess have been widely talked about around the camp giving him many names as Blodbrand, or Wolf Brand. All of course having to do with the flames the encaptured his sword in one of his strikes against the wolves.
Folke looked up from the dead bodies he was still contemplating whether this was exactly a win. When he heard some touch his shoulder and a girl called his name. He blinked and turned his head to see it was Ase the general of the army attempting to smile but it looked awkward and she said ``Let us all celebrate! We shall eat as if he were dining in the halls of heaven with our friends who have died tonight! Let us celebrate for an ensured rise to power within the armies and to tell our friends that they didn't die in vain tonight!``
The last part she emphasized with a shout, If folke had to rate the entire speech it was bad but still most of the men in the army let out large cheers and since no one else wanted to be rude they also began to cheer. The men who started to cheer were people who folke fought with when they were killing the flame wolves.
The crowd soon dispersed and folke was surrounded by many men who were attempting to make friends with him. He was walking in a direction toward the center of the camp but he peered over their heads slightly and was able to see Ase talking to Waiola.
The conversation on the other hand looked one sided. Ase was nodding her head with her hands placed infront of her stomach while Waiola on the other hand had a straight back and was talking down to ase. The scene betrayed the picture of general that Ase had.
` Ase and waiola, huh. ` Folke was about to let a thought fly when the soldiers around him began to wander their eyes toward the scene. Which causes folke to act up and respond to their questions like a prideful man deriving the attention back to himself.
Folke was confident and funny unlike his past where he was quiet and reserved, constantly watching to just make appearances as the twin star's bodyguard in his village. When he got the chance to speak he took it and now this was the perfect chance so he took it gratefully and made himself look great.
`` Folke, Where did they teach you how to fight? ``
`` I learned within the womb of my mother! They had to pull me out with a sword in hand! `` He laughed into the air while he walked. He had an average build and was taller than the others so when he laughed it sounded hearty and loud.
``The gods have given us a berserker!``
Folke didn't respond to that, he knew what berserkers were `These men are similar to high society within a little world.` Lately after the fight with the knights Folke some time went back to that moment to think of how big the world was. When he got the system and went into the flowery realm the first time he started to realize how big the world might be.
`I'm so little within this world, How many men are similar to me in this world? Regardless of that fact. Berserkers are some of the strongest men that we have. They are beast in battle and are known for their strength. I don't think I'm special. If anything I'm sure that they might have the system.` He'd continued walking with the group of people around him.
``How did you gain your power?`` Another man asked
``The gods came to me in dreams and gave me them.``
``How strong are you?`` A non-believer asked.
``Strong enough to kill thousands of those wolves if they come back!`` A man from folke's fighting group responded to him.
Folke laughed loudly and continued toward the center of the encampment where he saw Goldrig waiting for him. ``Folke!`` He ran up and gave folke a bear hug.
``I knew it! The gods truly did give me someone to implore all my wisdom and strength into!`` He'd pat folkes back while laughing, The men around them began to laugh to and folke laughed along with them.
Folke had long realized that `Goldrig, Is a beast...He's able to keep up with me even though I'm able to do those reckless moves in battle. No doubt that the system might've implored some power into me after it left. That's the only reason why I'm still living today.` He looked at goldrig with reverence and respect, more so than yesterday.
When you fight with someone in the heat of battle you quickly become related to one another. Culture in their little world dedicated it. That's why it's highly unlikely to see anything but reverence and respect for one's leader within the armies.
The armies were similar to mercenary groups rather than a completely loyal vassal to the warlords. The only similarity between them and vassals is that if they betray the warlord, They would most likely see a quick end to their force.
