Waking up from the hospital bed, Ginger saw his brother, Remy, sitting beside him, engrossed in his mobile phone.
"Can you please keep the lights off?" Ginger requested.
"Hey, finally awake after a 10-hour nap," Remy greeted with a smirk.
"Where are we?" Ginger inquired, still groggy.
"We're at Spidol Hospital," Remy replied.
"Why here? It's quite far from Aeroportus Airport," Ginger wondered.
"We needed to keep a low profile, so I chose the closest hospital to our house. I told Mom and Dad that you were in an accident, so it was necessary for you to be admitted," Remy explained.
"What happened after that?" Ginger inquired.
"Well, first of all, you did a commendable job, albeit not flawless. We managed to identify the person behind this," Remy informed him.
"Black Jack," Ginger uttered with a mix of determination and frustration.
"That's right. The man who piloted the plane is one of the 18 leaders, although he's considered the weakest among them," Remy confirmed.
"And then?" Ginger pressed for more information.
"Well, unfortunately, 12 military officers lost their lives when they stormed the plane, and four others sustained serious injuries," Remy disclosed.
Ginger let out a heavy sigh, feeling the weight of the consequences.
"You did your best," Remy reassured him.
"Thanks," Ginger replied gratefully.
"However, rushing headlong into an enemy's location is still unforgivable," Remy admonished him.
"I'm sorry," Ginger apologized, acknowledging his mistake.
"Well, you should be. But I'm glad you made it back safely," Remy expressed with a hint of relief.
Remy then returned to playing with his phone while Ginger waited for the doctor to come and assess his condition. After the check-up, the doctor informed Ginger that he could go home today. They settled the hospital bills at the administration desk and made their way to an internet café. Inside the dimly lit establishment, Ginger struggled to see clearly. Approaching the receptionist, who recognized them, they were granted access to a hidden door behind the counter. Ginger and Remy passed through the concealed passage, eventually reaching their secret base. Ginger took his place at his desk, while Remy retired to his room.
Remy was the founder and owner of the agency where Ginger currently operated. The internet café served as a front for their covert operations. Remy had been a former military officer who left the service five years ago, driven by the loss of his best friend during a mission. It was at that time that his own unique power manifested. He established the agency to protect himself, and when he discovered Ginger's abilities, he immediately invited him to join. Initially, the agency consisted of only 14 individuals, carefully chosen from Remy's trusted circle of friends and reliable individuals from the local slums. Utilizing the income from the internet café and working on police cases as a private company, they operated under the radar, the unsung heroes working behind the scenes to protect the innocent without ever seeking recognition in the news.
