Yuki who had stood up fell down, her knees had given up and at present, she was mentally a bit unstable!
It was a habit she had acquired over the years, her fingers started clicking on the ground as her brain went on the full drive as she thought about what had happened till now...
One thing was clear--
'I definitely didn't die as Yuki', her body indeed took some heavy damage, but she was sure that it was not enough to kill her even if she wasn't found by anyone for a few days, but she had seen the strongest Omega in Agape at that moment, though she wasn't very fond of her father after he started taking good care of Aki, she was slowly starting to get along too... so, with him around, no way was she dying.
For the very first time, she felt the fear of death... she had died once and it was sounded weird for her to feel scared of dying after just spending 7 years versus the many decades she had spent as a Snow and had so easily, given up on it...
Was her Karma playing with her?
After finally wanting to live for the first time, was she dead again?
She almost cursed out loud...but the more she concentrated, the more rationale she became and as a result, she chose the best possible steps to live, but just then, she had subconsciously locked into hr core...
She was shocked beyond reason by what she saw!
'Wasn't this the missing part of my soul force? I thought I lost it during that warp or whatever it was... but it seems, that part also reincarnated into another world?'
Somehow, a huge wave of relief washed over her, it seems, she was not dead, but temporarily living as the soul who crossed into the far past?
But whatever it was, she felt relaxed... as long as, there was a hope to go back, she didn't mind, she will find it.. or, maybe she will simply wake up after her body recovered...?
With a newly found determination to carry forward, she could think clearly again!
In the end, this soul was also a part of her too and so, she had the responsibility of taking care of it!
She can't let her physical body die here because she still wasn't sure about a lot of things and so, she had to take care of things in this world!
She was about to sort out her memories, when a cold voice interrupted her thoughts, " What are you? You are not...Yuki...?", though his voice had a trace of confusion because he was also aware that he was saying something absurd, but the coldness emitting showed that the absurdness was reality!
Yuki slowly opened her eyes to face that man, she didn't know if it was because her mental strength was lowered or something because of the lack of soul power, but even with the cold look the man was giving him, she felt that he was still very beautiful and charming, now that she got a good look from this angle, she could almost feel some sort of pheromones oozing out of his body!
She had a hunch that this man was an Alpha... wait if she was responding to that, didn't that mean she was an Omega?
What the hell is going on in this world!!!!!
'No, Yuki! Calm down! It doesn't matter. The gender doesn't matter! You have to take care of this situation first!', she shouted inside her head.
Finally, she calmed down and gave another look to the man.
He was around 6'2'' and was in wearing a black outfit, because of the darkness, he felt like a shadow, but his pale face and those bright eyes still lit up the world... now that she thought again, it was still these eyes and the charming aura of 'life' around the man that was attractive to her rather than any pheromones, she also couldn't smell any in the first place because of this nasty smell!
' I'm at this age and still, fell in love at first sight, it is not even instinct... Is it because he has something that I had always longed for... even though this world is at its end, he still has the zeal to 'live', while I was running after the 'end' for the longest period of time.... it seems there is still a long road ahead of me', she thought as she finally replied.
"It may seem weird to say this, but this person is me and not me at the same time...", she decided to open up. Well, he was suspicious about her so, it was better to just come out straight than hide it plus, her body was not suitable enough to fight so, till she is strong enough to fight for life, she had to stay close to this person; as a born-fighter, she could feel that this man was strong, very strong... better to have allies than enemies, plus--
The memory of this body dying on the side, whispering for 'help' flashed by her mind... no one responded, except this man, even though they were strangers, he had picked her up and carried her... this man had helped a stranger even at a time like this...
She will return the favour to him, at any cost... it was something she decided.
Yuki started her story, "It may sound weird, but I don't belong here--" and so, she spoke in length about her previous worlds, the both of them.
She was a person who didn't like to talk a lot in both worlds, she wondered if it was the trait of this reincarnation? Or, maybe, she had always wanted to share these tales with someone, she was in a different world again and a world at its end, she was very weak too.... maybe she was feeling insecurity? Whatever it may be, she wanted to tell everything she had experienced up to this point to someone, anyone!
In a way, this reincarnation came as a blessing... because she knew that she will be leaving this place one day and that, this was the person she had probably fallen for, Yuki talked about everything to him... about every moment of her life...
