Chapter 41 - A development in The Hell

The days of hard labour were way too hard for Vayve.

However, Yuna also stepped forward and allowed herself to lose on the spot. The young lady took a burden of Vayve, then Markas also did his best to control those gloves that were stuck to his hands...

He couldn't control his mind when the boss came, but as the time passed, Markas' heart steeled and he protected his friend.

Of course, it's only a matter of time before all three of them gets send to the work.

Nonetheless, Vayve had it the best. He was someone who could send his mind to an unknown room within his body that had a killing intent seed. This very killing intent seed was already taller than his eight years body!

The usual routine would be training up a killing intent here. Vayve would immerse himself in it not to forget a pain, but also build up more foundation. Though this situation was not something he desired, it was inevitably the best place to practice a killing intent as the situation was simply horrible.

Furthermore, Vayve desired a strength.

Everything that could be done had to be done.

The day seemed to be the same as usual with him resting in the cage. His body was pretty much motionless yet the sound of a chains rang out... It was so loud that Vayve within a special room could hear the sound.

But was it really loud?

No.

It was only loud for Vayve.

All because his body was unconsciously letting out a skill called Bribe.

This skill connected to many soul remnants that were left by former caught children. Those children were all prodigies and their talents were very high. Of course, not many children were 'so skilled', but there were a few talents that could be called 'MC Talent' like.

Such children began appearing in Vayve's mind, or that special room.

If Cerze wasn't so special and had that grown-up and muscular body, then there was a possibilit yof the 'MC Talent' like children beating him. But a power is not everything in the world. There is always that killing intent, and more factors such as mind.

Naturally, the children didn't really need to get bribed.

Everyone in this special room shared a thick killing intent towards that boss and his group, so appearing here to help Vayve was given without any price.

Their appearances were similar to a killing intent's seed. They were all red silhouettes with a red eyes that shone brightly.

Being showered by such killing intent, Vayve closed his eyes and remembered his mistake.

He wasn't fighting with his killing intent from the very beginning. It's no good to face everyone with a vicious eyes, but if people show it to him first, then why had he been forgetting about it? Was his nature too kind because he was from a world without much 'brutality'?

"Come."

Vayve softly muttered, then a killing intent wrapped itself around his arm. The plant's 'head' went up hovering itself next to his shoulder. It was a very dangerous plant that could eat humans, so it was surely quite an eerie sight.

Then, that plant spit out something.

Those weren't a seeds or anything like that, but a coins build up from a killing intent.

[You are able to transmit your killing intent easier through your money magic system. - Coin Toss gets stronger, magic costs lessened.]

"You too... Come."

In order to build up a solid foundation, Vayve decided to strike from the weakest ones. He was running a lot while throwing his coins that were faster and stronger. Even if he missed, a killing intent was so thick that it stopped the red silhouettes momentarily.

For now, only a one silhouette could be stopped.

However, that was the purpose of that training.

All to build up a solid foundation and killing intent that can influence many.

It also somehow would get rid of Vayve's weakness, even if it was for a little.

-

While Vayve was training highly, Yuna herself was experiencing something new. It was a hard work not related to her dream or a high status.

Her hands were clenching a pickaxe tightly, then as her arms went up, Yuna continued that hard work which was surely exhausting.

However, it allowed the small lady to understand that world is not that easy and nice for everyone.

As a noble, Yuna had almost everything she wanted and her mind had never thought about a swords and their origins. The same can be said about other minor things... Everything had their own origin and hard work behind it.

Small Yuna was slowly understanding it.

It's good to learn about hard work, but surely not in such vicious environment.

Not too far away, Yuna had a crowd, but except an adults, everyone else was working as hard as she.

'I want to see more of the world.'

If she survives throught this hellish place, that is.

Yuna was already seeking the world though. She wanted to see more people and learn about their lives, so an occupation called 'Adventurer' was more and more yearned by her. However, the adventurers faced many problems.

Being alone is not good, then.

However, image of Vayve appeared within her mind! It also had given her a strength to continue the hard work even though a blood loss was influencing her all this time! Then, Markas' voice entered Yuna's ears...

"Yuna... Go behind me and rest... I will try to mine two times faster."

"I refuse."

"Yuna..."

During their first talk in the cage, Markas had learnt more about Vayve and Yuna, their names being one of the first things. He understood their circumstances very well, and even more after being here, so he just nodded to this and thanked.

They were a real friends after all.

As a friend and foremost, as a man, Markas hoped to lessen the burder of the young miss as much as he could. However, Yuna was persistent and so all he could do was a pointless talk...

"Don't waste your strength on a talk."

Yuna just said one of quite cool quotes of her teachers from the household, but her expression was far from the satisfied one. If Vayve was here, then his heart surely would clench.

Hearing such words, Markas completely got silenced and continued to mine submerged in the painful cries of his peers...

Although thanks to his gloves, he had surely an easier time...

But this was not enough to convince Yuna and Vayve.

Everyone just continued to progress and strive for a survival.
