Chapter 10 - Search

The next day, Sol went back to his airship again. The day was a little foggy and less cold compared to the other day. He wore the same dress: a white fur jacket, white t-shirt, black pants, and rain boots. His enormous boomerang-shaped ship, Adam, was floating at a distant hill range and was in invisible mode so as not to be seen by villagers.

"Wow! This is really cool," said Sol.

Sol was checking out the ship riding on Drago. They were on the outer walls of a 13 km wide metallic airship. He was riding on a 4-meter tall green alligator lizard, Drago, on the steep outer walls of a 3 km tall ship.

Drago could walk on the walls like a lizard. Plus, it had an ability that anyone riding him or in contact with him would not fall off from him.

Sol looked at the vast black metallic steep walls. They were like a dot on that vast wall of a ship.

"If spaceships were real on Earth, would they have looked like this," said Sol.

Suddenly it started to rain.

"It's raining," Sol said, "Why don't we enjoy the rain and walk slowly to the Royal Tower, Drago?"

Drago then started walking on the steep walls towards the Royal tower, located at the top of the ship. Even though the walls of the ship were drenched, Drago had no difficulty walking.

Drago was completely soaked whereas for Sol, only his head was soaked. He wore Vastra, a shape-shifting semi-liquid slime which he summoned the other day, like his clothes. Because of Vastra, his body was not soaked from the rain.

Sol, an eleven-year-old chubby boy took his time and enjoyed the ride in the rain, and finally got to Royal Tower at the top of the ship. They then went to the first floor, an enormous land-size floor with dark marble floor and large panoramic transparent window which made the room bright.

Eve walked to Sol with a towel in her hands, "Here, my lord."

"Thank you, Eve," Sol said while taking the towel.

"Would you like to have something warm?" Eve asked. The ship had its own agriculture in floors and areas.

"Ah! That's right. We have food and cook here," Sol thought. "Then coffee," said Sol. Then he started to dry his hair. He then remembered his mother and thought," If mom had seen me in the rain like this she would've been drying me and scolding me at the same time."

After that Sol sat on his big, round hovering pod chair. "Massage," Sol said. Then the hovering chair started massaging him. The chair hovered to the window, giving a nice display of rain and the mist.

After some minutes, a humanoid worker bee came in with a trolley. There was hot coffee on it.

Eve served the coffee to Sol.

Sol stopped the massage and began to drink coffee while looking at the rain and mist outside. After finishing his coffee he was in deep thought.

"I should get some mana stones. No, not just some but many," Sol thought. "I should start hunting in the deeper part of these hills." He looked down at the hills. Only some parts of the hills were visible due to mist.

"It would be great if there are caves similar to the one where I found mana stones. And dungeon I wonder if there is one here." Sol remembered the mutant flying squirrel he found when he was five years old. "The villagers and my parents said there is no dungeon in this region. If so, then how about the mutant flying squirrel from six years ago? - I should search if there is a dungeon here but it's not even a dark forest."

Mutant beasts were beasts that had transformed by living, going, or consuming dungeon stuff. They were different from the other beast. They would have purple eyes, purple spikes, or scales and would be wild.

Dungeons were massive caves on land. A place with a dungeon would be red in color. A forest would be red with red plants, trees, and red soil if there was a dungeon in that forest. Such forests were called red forests.

After a few hours, the rain stopped.

Sol, Eve and Drago were on the roof of the Royal tower. There still were mist. The mist covered the 13 km length ship.

"Alright let's go and hunt something." Sol got off from the hoverchair pod and climbed on top of Drago's neck. "But how will we go down. I don't think you will fit in the escort pod."

Eve walked towards Sol. She suggested, "My Lord, you can use a transport boat for that."

"Boat? Oh? Yeah! I did create something like that," Sol thought. He looked at Eve from above Drago. "Where is this transport boat?" he asked.

"It will come here, my lord," replied Eve.

Then from the front part of the airship, a large black metallic boat-like structure flew to where Sol was. It was a 7-meter long fenced deck with a flat hull – made up of unpolished black metal the same as an airship.

"A flying boat for a short distance that is capable of carrying a few numbers of loads," Sol thought while looking at the black metallic boat landing slowly in front of Sol.

Sol rode on Drago and got on the boat. "Take us down in the forest," Sol said.

The boat flew slowly towards up and flew downwards to the forest. The boat landed in a valley.

The hill and forest were covered in thin mist. The ground was wet, plants and trees had raindrops on them.

"White Sentinel," Sol said. Then a thick white snake with red eyes appeared from Sol's back and wrapped itself around his neck. He said, "Tell me if you sense any creature."

White Sentinel could sense living creatures within its 12-meter range.

Sol and Drago began exploring the untouched hills. Until now Sol has just been exploring few outer hills but now he was in the inner forest of the hill range.

Sol wandered around the misty forest riding on Drago. There were no man-made trails and paths. The wet ground made the green lizard's leg muddy. The forest was quiet and cold. And the mist blocked the view.

As they were searching in a sloped forest, White Sentinel sensed some creature nearby.

"So there's something on our right side," Sol said while looking at his right side. However, he couldn't see far due to mist.

Drago slowly walked down to their right side. When they got closer they saw a group of rabbits roaming around.

"Rabbits huh!" Sol said. He caressed Drago, "Do you eat those?"

Drago's eyes were fixed on rabbits. Sol got his answer.

"Go ahead," said Sol, "Show me how you hunt?"

Drago then started walking slowly towards the rabbits. Sol, who was riding Drago, was enjoying the situation with a smile on his chubby face.

Drago was a few steps away from those rabbits. Then Drago stopped being cautious and made noise while walking. The rabbits heard the noise and turned toward the noise.

The moment the rabbits looked towards the noise and saw Drago, Drago's yellow eyes glowed for a second – making the rabbits fall on the ground. The rabbits were made dizzy to the point of not being able to move.

"Good boy," Sol smiled, "Go ahead and enjoy your food. I won't touch them for mana stones." He let Drago have all rabbits.

Drago went to half-conscious rabbits and started eating them one by one. He chewed them turning them into pieces and swallowed them.

"They all fell as if they fainted," Sol thought, "That's one of the abilities I created for Drago: to make prey dizzy or half-conscious."

It took some time for Drago to eat all the rabbits. His mouth was red because of the rabbit's color.

"Now let's go one find some beast," Sol said. Then they continued their search in the misty forest.

Sol rode on Drago to an untouched forest with a white snake around his neck. There were no paths on the sloped hill. The ground was full of small plants.

Right then White Sentinel sensed a big creature in front of them.

"Something is approaching us from in front." Sol said in a low voice, "Stop." Drago stopped. Sol looked in front – all he could see was mist and nearby trees. "Drago, walk up." Drago walked up the hills and waited.

Then from the mist, a giant black snake came out crawling. It was 1 meter thick and many meters long.

"That's one big snake," Sol thought while looking down at the giant snake from higher ground.

The black snake turned towards Sol and Drago. Then the snake slowly stood high and expanded its large hood. It was a giant black cobra. When the cobra stood it reached the same level of height Sol was on.

"Whoa! A giant venomous cobra. A predator of Drago and friend of White Sentinel." Sol smiled. He was calm and composed. This was because that was how he sketched his character. On the other hand, Drago was scared but was still.

The giant cobra was looking at them while making a hissing sound. It was moving its head back, getting ready to attack.

Sol stared at the giant cobra without moving. He then said in a soft voice while staring at the Cobra, "Drago, make it dizzy."

Before the giant cobra could attack Drago used its eyes. Drago's yellow eyes glowed and made the giant cobra dizzy and wobble. The cobra fell backward on the ground.

"Now," Sol said calmly pointing at the fallen giant cobra. Then three silver tentacles, Silver Sentinel, emerged rapidly from Sol's back and went straight to attack 1-meter thick giant cobra.

One tentacle pierced its neck, the second pierced its body, and the third tentacle pierced its giant head. It struggled for a few seconds and died. It died with three holes in its body: head, neck, and body.

"Phew! I thought we were going to be its food," Sol said. Drago went down to the dead cobra. Sol looked at its long and large carcass. "Whoa! Seeing a snake this size is really something."

"Should I extract its heart right now or should I do it later after one more hunt?" Sol thought. He looked around. The forest was still covered with mist. "Not being able to see far because of this mist is making it really dangerous. Even though White Sentinel and Silver Sentinel can sense creatures nearby no one can tell what will pop out from those mist. – I think I should come another time or bring some more people."

Sol looked at the carcass of the giant cobra. "Deva, store the body," Sol said.

A red light ball appeared from within Sol. The red ball turned into a Black and Red Grimoire with an eye on its front cover. The grimoire hovered in the air and opened its eye with a yellow sun-like pupil. The grimoire turned towards the carcass and a yellow magic spell formed in front of its eyes. The dead body of a giant cobra glowed and disappeared. The yellow magic circle stored the body in the Grimoire. The Grimoire turned back into red light and went back inside Sol's chest.

"Now then, let's head back," Sol said and he rode on Drago back to the Flying Boat. The black metallic boat flew back to the airship above the hills.

Sol was back on the First floor with a large window view with Eve and Drago. He sat on his round hover chair pod.

"Deva," Sol called.

The grimoire appeared again in the red ball form and transformed into a thick grimoire and hovered in the air. It opened its yellow pupil eye and looked at the Sol.

"Bring out the body of that giant cobra."

A yellow magic formation emerged in front of the grimoire's eye. The magic took out the giant carcass of the cobra. Then the grimoire floated near to Sol.

"Is that the thing you hunted my king," asked Eve. The carcass was really long and big.

"Yes, it's a giant cobra we hunted," Sol replied. Sol hovered to the cobra's mouth. "Now then let me try something." The dead giant cobra was 1 meter in width and height little less than 11-year-old Sol.

Sol stood and got out of his hoverchair. He called, "White Sentinel". Then a white snake with red eyes appeared from his back. Then he called, "Silver Sentinel" Two silver tentacles emerged from his back.

"Open its mouth," Sol said.

The two silver tentacles opened the dead cobra's mouth. The giant dead cobra had giant fangs from where yellow venom was dropping out. The mouth was larger than Sol and could easily swallow small and chubby Sol.

"Venom," said Sol after seeing the venom on the dead cobra's fangs. "Get the Venom," Sol said.

The white sentinel from Sol's backbit the venom canal of the dead cobra. The white sentinel first struggled to find the venom canal then it tore out some flesh and bit the venom canal from where venom was flowing out. This way the white sentinel absorbed the dead giant cobra's venom.

It was one of the abilities of White Sentinel: to absorb any liquid stuff like poison, venom, potion and make it its own. It could store multiple of these and switch back between these.

"It looks like it's working," said Sol while watching the process.

The White Sentinel was done and returned back. Then another white sentinel came out of Sol's body and started absorbing the giant cobra's venom. After it was done it went back inside the space in Sol's body.

"Now for the Beast Mana Stone," Sol walked to where the heart of the giant cobra was. He moved a few steps back. He ordered, "Tear it."

The two long silver tentacles pierced the thick skin many times. The red blood of cobra splatter on the dark color marble floor and some on Sol. Then the tentacle ripped apart the flesh revealing a giant heart.

"There it is," Sol said.

The tentacle took out the bloody heart and brought it close to Sol.

"That's a big heart I have seen until now." Sol was amazed.

After a few seconds, the heart turned into a red stone, Beast Mana Stone.

Sol carried the heart-shaped Beast mana stone with two hands. "Whoa! It's the biggest Beast Mana Stone I ever had.," Sol said.

"Deva, Store it," Sol said.

The grimoire had been floating near to Sol. A yellow magic circle formed in front of the grimoire's eyes and stores the mana stone in it.

All the White Sentinels and Silver Sentinels went back inside the space in Sol's body.

Sol sat on his hoverchair and hovered near the carcass. The body was messed and blood was spilling out on the dark marble floor. There was also some blood in his white jacket. Then the blood dissolved into the clothes and was clean as new.

"What should I do with this," Sol said while looking at the giant snake carcass. "Should I store it or give it as food?"

Whenever Sol hunted he would sometimes store dead beasts or sometimes he would leave as it is for others to feast on it.

"Eve," Sol called.

Eve was standing behind Sol and just watching. She replied, "Yes, my lord."

"Take this carcass to Neyer – tell him to use it as food or however you guys want," Sol said, " And bring me its fangs, eyes, some its skin and bones."

"As you wish, my lord," Eve replied. "Projection," she said.

Then on the 20th floor, the Green Floor, large land with fruit trees, and walls made of a large honeycomb where swarms of humanoid bees and Queen Bee were working, an image of Eve appeared in front of Queen Bee Sara. The Queen Bee Sara was a large bee, unlike her humanoid worker bees.

Another image was Eve was projecting in front of the giant Queen Bee Sara.

"What's the matter, Eve," asked Queen Bee with her soft voice.

Eve then told her to send some worker bees to the first floor which Queen Bee accepted and send some humanoid worker bees. Then the image of Eve disappeared.

The humanoid worker bees took their own honeycomb path to the first floor. Only the bees and queen bee knew the path from their honeycomb to other floors and areas. And only bees and Sol were allowed to take those paths.

After a few minutes, on the first floor, a honeycomb appeared on the high ceiling. From it, twenty humanoid worker bees flew out. The worker bees were 7 ft. tall black and orange humanoid bees.

All of them landed in front of Sol and kneeled before him

"Rise," Sol said in a soft voice while seated in his white hoverchair.

The humanoid worker bees stood. Eve then came in front of them.

"Carry that carcass to the Kitchen floor," Eve ordered.

The humanoid worker bees carried the large snake body into the honeycomb at the high ceiling from where they came from. After a few minutes of flying, they exited from another honeycomb path on the Kitchen floor.

A 21st floor, kitchen floor, a huge green land with large open kitchen, dining table, ponds where a 7 ft. four-armed blue-skinned chef was in charge of.

The humanoid worker bee put the giant snake's dead body in front of Neyer.

Right at that time, Eve appeared out of nowhere in front of them. It was another image of Eve. She told Neyer about the order of Sol.

"I will do as the Lord commands," Neyer said and started doing what he was ordered to do.

Back on the first floor. A giant grey slime was cleaning the bloodied floor. It was the 'Cleaner', a slime whose job is to clean the airship. It was cleaning the floor by absorbing the blood that was on the floor.

"My lord, I have conveyed your order to Neyer," said Eve.

"Projection" was the ability of Eve. As a spirit/system of Adam, she could teleport, create multiple images and be in many places of the ship.

"Thank you," Sol replied while watching outside the large panoramic window. He was thinking about a way to get mana stones.

"Let's do it after this monsoon is over," Sol thought, "I think I should go now." He turned towards Eve. "Eve, I am going back home, take care of this place."

Sol and Eve went on top of the tower. Aspherical escort pod flew to him. Sol got off from his hoverchair. The spherical escort pod's wall disappeared and Sol got on around the metallic platform. The walls reappeared and became transparent making chubby Sol and the round platform visible from outside also making outside visible. Eve bid Sol a good day and watched the pod fly off. The pod flew down across the river. Sol got off there and headed to his home.

Meanwhile, in a certain noble room, a handsome black hair man was looking at the rain outside from his manor. He was wearing a red and black noble attire.

The noble person was Duke Aron Alde Flaming, Head of House Flaming.

Knock, Knock. There was a knock on the door.

"This is Marcus." A man who knocked.

"Come in," said Aron. He had a soft voice for a sharp and serious appearance.

A young man, with red hair and beard, entered the room. It was Marcus. He wore half armor on his upper body and a black knight dress. He stood in front of a table and chair that was beside Aron.

Aron sat on the chair. He looked at Marcus who was standing in front of him.

"Marcus, I need you to find me, someone. A woman," said Aron.
