After a few days, Sol was back in his enormous black metallic airship. He was on the 21st floor, a green plain land Kitchen Floor, enjoying the steak made from the Giant Cobra he killed a few days ago.
The kitchen floor was a wide green field with few trees, a small garden, sky, and sun above. In the middle of it, there was a large outdoor kitchen, storage, stage, and dining table. The kitchen had many types of equipment that looked partially medieval and modern, which were partially mechanical and magical.
Sol was sitting down at a large dining table and chomping down a Giant Cobra steak.
"Mhmm! This is good," Sol said.
Neyer was standing beside Sol. "I'm happy that you like it, my king," said Neyer, a 7 ft. blue being with three heads and four arms, wearing a chef dress. He was the King's personal Chef and the floor in charge.
Beside Neyer, there was Eve and a few humanoid worker bees.
Eve, a blue lady who was a little transparent like a hologram. A tall with slim figure, long black hair, wearing; a white sleeveless top, black pants, and white ankle boots. She was also there standing at the other side of Sol.
Sol took his time to enjoy the steak in the wide green field while it was raining heavily outside the airship. It was a little cold outside due to rain. Sol had Vastra, a slime that could change into clothes. He was wearing a blue fur jacket, black pants, and shoes.
Sol finished the food.
"Huff!" Sol exhaled while touching his chubby stomach. "Neyer bring me the parts of the Cobra that I asked for," he ordered.
"Right away," Neyer looked at the four black and yellow worker bees. "Bring the Cobra's parts," Neyer ordered.
The 7 ft. tall humanoid worker bees flew to the storage and brought out stuff and placed it on the dining table. The stuff were fangs, eyes, skin, and some bones of the Giant Cobra.
"Deva," Sol called.
A red light ball appeared from within Sol. The red ball turned into a Black and Red Grimoire with an eye on its front cover. The grimoire hovered in the air and opened its eye with a yellow sun-like pupil.
"Store these all," Sol said.
A yellow magic circle spell appeared in front of the grimoire. Then it stored all the stuff on the dining table in the grimoire.
Sol thought, "I hope these things are useful somehow. – In novels and manga they were used for various things."
Deva turned back into red light ball went into Sol's chest
Sol got up and walked to the large round hover chair pod. He sat on a large chair pod. The hover chair was round and large enough to fit an adult person's whole body inside.
"Let's go to the 1st floor," Sol said and hovered to the large silver gate of the floor. Eve followed Sol and Neyer stayed back on the floor.
Sol and Eve passed through the floor gate and entered a black metallic passage, lit by the light lines on the walls and ceilings. They entered a large round magical lift made up of black metal with few magical lighting rings on the floor and lighting lines on walls.
The lift went up and stopped on the first floor. Sol and Eve got out. They were on the first floor of the tower. The floor was an enormous land-size floor with dark marble and large panoramic transparent windows which made the room bright.
Sol hovered to the large transparent window glass. "It's not raining as heavily as before," Sol said while looking outside.
It was drizzling outside. Light mist covered the roamed the hills and hid the large green land and the village. Even some parts of Adam were hidden in the mist.
"Deva," Sol called.
A red light ball appeared from within Sol. and turned into a Black and Red cover. The grimoire hovered in front of Sol and opened its eye with a yellow pupil.
"How many mana stones do I have," asked Sol.
The grimoire flipped the pages and stopped at a page containing details of mana stones. The page had a heading, pictures, description, and quantity. It highlighted the quantity part.
Right now Sol had 468 mana stones; 234 terra mana stones, 234 flora mana stones, and 0 beast mana stones.
"Hmm… I have more than I thought," Sol thought, "When should I wake someone. – Whom should I wake from the slumber?" Sol began to think. "How about Red Knight Twins?"
"Deva, how many mana stones are required to wake Red Knight Twins?" Sol asked.
The grimoire flipped the pages itself while floating in the air and opened to a certain page.
"200 mana stones huh!" said Sol, "Then let's go with them."
The Grimoire closed itself. Sol turned back towards Eve.
"Eve, bring me the Red Knight Twins from Area 8," Sol ordered.
"As you command, my king." Eve bowed. "Projection," said Eve.
"Projection" was the ability of Eve. She could create multiple images in various places within the airship and used them to transfer messages, orders.
Then on the green floor, a 20th floor, a hologram of Eve appeared inside the giant honeycomb walls of the floor, in front of the Queen Bee Sara.
The Queen Bee, Sara, was about twenty feet tall and seventy feet in length. She had a yellow and orange body and wings. She had an original bee appearance unlike humanoid workers and scout bees.
It was busy inside the walls. It was a giant hive of bees. The whole place was orange. Humanoid worker bees were working, flying all over the place. But the place of Queen Bee was quieter and larger.
"What can I do for you, Eve?" the queen bee asked Eve who was small and was standing on the floor. She had a beautiful soft voice.
"The king had ordered us to go to Area 8 and bring the Red Knight Twins," Eve replied.
"Ah! Is he going to wake them," asked Sara?
"I think so," Eve replied.
"Then I shall do as the king ordered. Wait for my workers at Area 8," Sera said.
"Then," Eve said and disappeared.
The enormous flying-wing-shaped ship, Adam, had three layers inside, enclosed. These three layers were large enough to be called cities. The tower where Sol was in, The Royal Tower, was the middle section of the ship and was as tall as this layer, dividing the wings and layers into two.
Area 8 was on the right wing of the first layer. The first layer was the large, in-built, black metallic city. This layer had giant black metallic structures of different shapes and was referred to as Area. Everything was made up of unpolished black metal, the same as Adam; roads, structures, etc. Besides these, there were trees, rivers, streams, gardens, and parks.
A hexagonal gate opened on the right side of the royal tower in the first layer. From that gate, four humanoid worker bees came out flying into the large 11 km long and 3 km wide black metallic city.
Even though the city was enclosed in the airship, it was bright due to the one-way ability of Adam. Adam being a living magical ship had many abilities. It could make the outside visible from the inside but not vice versa.
The 7ft. tall yellow and black humanoid bees flew over the cities. Then they saw Eve in front of a giant black circular building and landed. The floor and every building in the first layer was made of black metal
Eve with four humanoid bees went inside the circular building. It was Area 8. There was a large black door with a two crossed swords symbol in the middle of it. The humanoid bees opened the door and they entered into a large circular brownfield made up of sand. At the other side of the field was a large curved building with a large door. In front of them, there were four large statues of knights with different weapons.
They opened the door and entered the building. After a few minutes, the four humanoid bees came flying carrying two black statues of knights in pairs. Eve came later and then disappeared. The humanoid bees while carrying the two statues, flew back to the hexagonal gate they opened on the tower wall.
Back on the first floor, Sol was waiting with Eve while sitting in a giant hover chair pod. Sol usually wouldn't get out of his hoverchair. This made him chubbier.
"My King, they will be here in a few seconds," said Eve.
Then a hexagonal gate appeared on the dark marble floor. From it, humanoid bees came out carrying two statues. They placed it in front of Sol. The humanoid bees bowed their king and went back to their floor.
The two black statues were 7.5 ft. tall. One statue was a light-armored knight with a large cone-shaped lance in his right hand and a shield on the other. Another statue was the same height but big in size carrying a large weapon with a hammer and axe together.
"Red Knight Twins –back in my previous life I drew them after watching a knight series. I remember creating them to be twins with different abilities, always fighting together side by side, watching each other's back," Sol thought.
"Deva," Sol called out his grimoire.
A red light ball appeared from within Sol's chest and transformed into a grimoire. It opened its eye and floated in front of Sol.
'Sano' was the light red armored knight with a big right pauldron and vambrace. He wielded a long black and red conical lance and Scutum shield.
'Mino' was the big red armored knight wearing big round gauntlets on both hands. He wielded a black and red weapon that had a big axe on one side and a hammer on another.
"Shall we go hunting? There is something I want to check," Sol said, "Eve, call Drago."
"Yes my King," replied Eve.
All of them went to the open roof of the tower. There was no sunlight due to rain clouds. The rain had stopped. They were at the top of a 3 km tall airship, floating above the hill range, which was at a distance from the Widefield village. The mist covered the land.
Sol looked at the above mist while seated in his hoverchair. "Once this monsoon is over, I must search this whole hill range if there are any other caves or dungeons."
Right at that moment, Drago came by walking on the outer walls of the airship. After that, a large transport boat flew and landed on the tower roof. It was a large black metallic boat-like structure, 7-meter long fenced deck with a flat hull.
Sol got out of his hoverchair pod and mounted Drago – a 4 meter tall green alligator lizard with bony dorsal spike.
Sol riding on Drago got on the transport boat and Knight Twins got on later.
The boat flew down the hills.
"Fly low, above the trees," Sol ordered.
Then the transport boat flew right above the trees. The boat kept flying over the forested hills. Sol was looking down in the forest, searching for something.
Sano asked, "My king, what are you searching for?" He had a deep and hollow voice because of the full red helmet.
"I am searching for an armored beast – one with bony spikes on their back and tails," Sol said while looking down in the forest. He thought, "Well they were dinosaurs on Earth, and I don't know if they call it the same here in Vida."
Sano and Mino also started searching each of their sides.
They flew over the forest and hills for over thirty minutes but couldn't find one.
"Should we search for them from the ground," Sol thought.
Right at that moment, he saw a herd of Ankylosaur beasts grazing in the valley. A four-legged green and grey, a slow walking armored beast with spiky backs and spiky clubbed tail.
"Stop," Sol ordered. The boat stopped in the mid-air. They were a few meters far from the groups of Ankylosaur beasts. "There they are – let's get off here."
There was no space for a large floating boat to land. So the boat flew right above the trees. Sano and Mino jumped from the boat, while Sol rode Drago down by descending down from a tree.
The rain earlier had made the forest floor wet. There was little mist around the forest.
Sol and others walked towards where the herd was. Small green plants covered the grounds. Every step Drago made he trampled the plants on the grounds. The tall Knight Twins just walked by. They didn't get close to the herd and observed from distance.
The Ankylosaur beasts were grazing on the plants on the grounds. There were both children and adult beasts. The adult beasts were more than two-meter tall and seven-meter in length.
Sol watched the herd from the head of 4 meters tall Drago. Sano and Mino were also watching from each side of Drago.
"White Sentinel," Sol called.
A white snake with red eyes appeared out of Sol's back.
"Shall we see how effective Giant Cobra's venom is?" Sol said, "Attack the one in front of us."
Then the White Sentinel hid in the plants on the ground and went towards one of the large beasts. White Sentinel was a long snake, hence it could reach more than ten meters. The forest floor plants were tall enough for White Snake to hide and attack. The Ankylosaur beast couldn't see the thick white snake coming its way due to the plants on the floor
The Ankylosaurs-like beasts had thick skin, armored backs with spikes, and were 2 meters tall. The only soft part was its small neck. White Sentinel moved closer to it without letting it notice and once its neck was in reach White Sentinel bit its neck with sharp fangs injecting venom.
The Ankylosaur beast cried in pain and shook its head. It caught a glimpse of White Sentinel between plants. It quickly attacked with its large thorny clubbed tail tip. The thorny tail failed to attack White Sentinel and hit the ground. The attack made loud bang noise, destroying the wet ground. White Sentinel had already been pulled back and was around Sol's neck.
"Whoa! That power – I haven't forgotten the day when one of them destroyed a few trees trying to hit me," Sol said.
The four-legged beast turned towards Sol and others. In anger, it started to run towards them.
Sano and Mino stepped in front of Drago to protect their King.
"Back then the venom of White Sentinel couldn't kill it – now let's wait and see if Giant Cobra's venom works," Sol thought.
Sol had already encountered such a beast in the past and failed to kill it. White Sentinel's venom was not effective against it. So this time he was there to test the Giant Cobra's venom on the same beast.
White Sentinel had the ability to store different poisons, venom, or potion in it. It can use any of these when needed.
The Ankylosaur beast ran towards Sol with its two-meter tall heavy body and turned around to attack with its thorny tip of the tail. The tail couldn't reach Sol and others but hit the lower part of the tree that was at the side. The tree broke and fell.
"Move back," Sol ordered.
Drago and Knight Twins moved a few steps back. The knight Twins were in front of Dragon and ready to engage in battle.
"Knight Twins do not attack. Let venom do its work," Sol said.
The beast walked over a fallen tree, roared, and swung its thorny tail horizontally. This time the Red Knight Twins were in the attack line.
Sano turned towards the incoming tail keeping his left leg forward and Scutum shield forward which he wielded with the left side. He was also wielding a conical lance in his right hand.
Tang, a loud metal noise came from the collision of the large thorny tip of tail and Sano's Scutum shield – pushing 7 ft. tall red knight, Sano, backward towards Mino.
"That was strong," said Mino.
"Yeah!" said Sano.
The beast again launched a horizontal tail attack.
"Another one," said Mino.
Sano moved to the side of Mino. "Active Scutum," Sano incanted. His rectangular shield glowed red once.
'Dang! 'The large thorny tail once again collided with Sano's shield. Sano's shield glowed red with the collision. However this time Sano wasn't pushed back.
The shield of Sano was a magical shield and after incantation, it withstood the powerful tail attack.
"Whoa! He stopped the attack," Sol was amazed after seeing Sano block the attack. "It seems they can use magic," he said.
The Ankylosaur beast again swung its tail to attack.
Sano was ready for the beast's another attack. However, the beast fell on the ground halfway.
"The beast fell," said Mino.
Sol, who was watching all things from above Drago was surprised. "Did the venom kick in?" he thought.
The beast shook for a few seconds and stopped.
Sol looked at White Sentinel which was around his neck. "Go and check it," he said.
White Sentinel unwrapped itself from Sol's neck and went to the beast. It observed the beast and came back to Sol.
"It's dead," Sol said, "Drago get closed to it."
Drago got closer to the dead spiky beast. He watched the beast from the top.
Sol thought, "It seems the Giant Cobra's venom worked against it."
The dead Ankylosaur beast's neck had two holes and the neck had turned dark. The other beast of the group had run away.
Sol got off from Drago and observed the dead beast from close. He touched its thick skin, spiky armored back, and armored head.
"Whoa! The skin of this beast is really hard, I wonder if a shield can be made from it." Sol knocked on its hard armored skin. "Sano, Mino try cutting this armored back with the weapon of yours, with normal moves," Sol ordered.
"Yes, My King," Sano and Mino replied at the same time.
Sano wielded a red and black large cone-shaped lance with his right hand. He gave a straight powerful thrust with his weapon however it only scratched the skin a little.
"It's strong, the armored skin," said Sano while looking at the scratch he made on the beast's skin.
"Let me try it," Mano said. He grabbed his red and black axe + hammer weapon and raised it above his head. Then he gave a full vertical slash with the axe part. This time he made a shallow cut on the armored skin of the beast.
"Whoa! It is strong," said Sol. He was watching them from the side. "Why don't you try with one of your magic moves something like that," he said, "Ah! No, wait. Let's do that once we reach Adam. – I think it's about to rain again."
"Deva," Sol called his grimoire.
A red light ball appeared from within Sol and turned into a Black and Red grimoire with one yellow eye, hovering in the air.
"Store this carcass," said Sol.
A yellow magic circle spell appeared in front of the grimoire. The magic circle stored the dead beast in it. Then the grimoire turned into a red light ball and went into Sol.
Then all went to the place where the transport boat was floating. Sano jumped on trees and onto the boat. Mino jumped on the boat while carrying Sol. Drago climbed the tree and then climbed on the boat. The boat flew towards the enormous airship, Adam, above the hills.
After some time they were on the Kitchen floor. Outside, it started to rain again. On the kitchen floor, Sol was in his white hover chair pod, Eve and chef Neyer were also present there with Red Knight Twins and Drago. Deva Sol had called out Deva.
"Deva," Sol said.
The yellow light appeared in front of grimoire's one eye. It brought out the large dead Ankylosaur beast.
"Neyer," Sol called.
Neyer came and stood beside Sol. "Yes My king," he said.
"The skin of this beast is really tough, especially its armoured parts so Sano and Mino will help you to cut it down," Sol said.
Neyer moved to the dead beast and touched its thick armoured skin. He then turned towards Sol who was sitting in his round hover pod. He said, "Thank you! My king but I think I can manage to cut down this beast on my own – there is no need for the red knights to do this."
"Hm?" Sol was surprised by Neyer's reply. "The skin is not something that can be cut easily you know."
"My King, I may not be a warrior but I do have some of the skills," Neyer said, "If you may, I can demonstrate it right here."
"Ooh!" Sol was excited, "Okay! Go ahead and show me what you can do?"
"Thank you, My King," Neyer bowed and turned towards the carcass of the spiky armoured beast.
A 7 ft. three-headed, four-armed, blue skin chef was about to demonstrate his skills.
