Calix's POV:
I purred as we appeared back in our bedroom and let Malakai go. "Okay little kitty, I'll turn you into a cat," I told him and smirked, sitting down on the bed. "I'm your father, Calix. I doubt your mother told you my name... and this is Emile, my lover." I patted the bed then for him to sit by me. "Don't be frightened. I won't hurt you." He pulled on his hoodie quickly and pulled the hood up and placed his Nintendo inside his pocket. He backed away from me quickly and whimpered.
"I want to go back to Nico," he told me. I purred in amusement then.
"You'll go back to Nico soon," I told him then smirked. "Besides, don't you want to get to know your father? You have all the time in the world to return to Nico." He whined a little before walking up slowly and sat down on the edge of the bed. Emile got onto the bed and laid down, watching us in amusement. I purred and looked at Emile, glancing him over then looked at my son. "I'll treat you to fish every day you're with me," I told him then laid down, pulling him with me. I could hear his heart race then and his breathing got shaky as he sat up quickly.
"Umm... Dad...." He trailed off. "I want to go back to Nico."
"You can go back to your Nico after I teach you a few things and you get to know me," I told him then pulled him back down. "Nico will love what I teach you~ Trust me."
"Why're we here?" He asked and sat back up. I yanked him back down then. This kid... is too uptight.
"We're here because this is where I live with Emile," I told him calmly. "We're going to teach you to be more demon and less... kid. Nico will like it, and you'll have his affections and attention for the rest of his existence."
"But I don't want to learn that... Nico likes me as me," he whispered and went to sit back up. I kept him down then and frowned.
"You're staying. I'm your father. You need father time," I told him then put him between me and Emile then looked towards Emile, giving him a kiss. Emile purred and rubbed Malakai's head.
"Easy kid, calm down." He told him. Malakai whined and started to cry a little. I frowned then. What... the... hell... is wrong... with him? I growled a little. His mother made him too childlike. I wiped at his tears then.
"You're fine," I told him. "You're not in danger." He sniffled and curled up into a ball then.
"I want to be with Nico," he whined.
"You can be with Nico later," I told him and frowned. "Don't make me say in the next two years. I have a lot to teach you." He sniffled and pulled his hood down into his eyes. Emile patted his head and watched him. "You'll warm up to this," I purred and then wrapped him up in my arms. I'm not having another one if they whine like this. He hid his face against me quickly and clung to my shirt.
"There you go kiddo," Emile purred. "It's okay." I tensed a little and looked at him with wide eyes then relaxed slowly as I rubbed his back with my thumb. This is new.... He sniffled again before lifting his head a bit. I could hear his heart settling. He glanced around quickly. I watched him curiously as I continued to rub his back. Huh... I guess this is fine. He's calming down. He laid his head back down in defeat and rubbed his eyes. I smirked then. Good, he'll behave. I looked him over then pulled the blanket up and around us all, tucking him in to his chin. I looked at Emile then and purred then gave him a playful look. Emile gave me a small frown and then a warning look before he closed his eyes. Malakai slowly stopped rubbing his eyes and his hand fell down quickly. I glanced at him then. Guess he's sleeping.... I'll have to start teaching him tomorrow. I settled down and closed my eyes, keeping him in my arms so he wouldn't try to escape. Hopefully his mother won't come searching for him for a bit. I heard she was going there tomorrow, but she can wait.
I stirred, my eyes opening after my sleep, and I looked towards Malakai and Emile with a small purr before I leaned over and gave Emile a kiss then rubbed Malakai's cheek as I started to get up. Malakai moved out of my arms as I moved away from him and he curled up to my pillow quickly. I paused and watched him then laughed a little. That's kinda... sweet. He'd be eaten alive in Hell though. I ruffled his hair then ran my hand to his ears, touching one curiously. His eyes opened wide and he let out a quick sneeze, forcing his eyes shut quickly. He looked up at me and sat up slowly. I purred at him and then touched his nose. "Hello sleeping kitty," I teased him. "Go take a bath since how you woke up. You'll want one." He looked around and blushed.
"I don't have my clothes here," he whispered to me.
"I can get you some clothes," I told him then picked him up, carrying him into the bathroom. I sat him down then turned on the bath, plugging up the drain as it got warm then poured bubbles into it. I walked into the closet and picked out one of Emile's smaller shirts he never wears then grabbed some shorts, bringing it into the bathroom and sat it down then got him a towel out from under the sink and placed it on the counter. "There, take a bath," I told him and rubbed his cheek with a small purr. I walked out and then went out to the bed, shutting the door behind me and crawled into it next to Emile. I kissed his lips and smirked as I pulled him into my arms. Emile's eyes opened as he woke up. He looked me over and smiled.
"Where's your boy?" He asked curiously.
"In the bath," I told him and purred, leaning into his neck and kissed it.
"I've got to go out today... so you two will have fun together," he sighed out. I frowned at him then and brought his body closer to me.
"Whatever for?" I asked him then started to give him a love bite. I can't believe he's leaving me today.... Well, he did mention yesterday that he needed to take down an airplane and that didn't happen.
"Because I have to make up for yesterday," he whispered. "You cost me a ton of lives. A ton of souls," he purred and kissed my cheek. I gave a playful growl and then started another love bite. He purred and sat up.
"Alright, I'm going to get ready." He slipped out of bed and started for his closet. I frowned and sat up quickly. I just got ditched... again. I laid back in my bed then.
"You owe me!" I called after him.
"No I don't. You owe me for yesterday," He purred and slipped into his closet.
"Do not," I purred back. "I'll keep you all to myself for an entire week, so you better clear your schedule." I heard him chuckling. I smirked then. "I think I'll get us handcuffs for us to play with too~"
"No you won't!" He yelled. He walked back out in his daily clothes. "I've got to go and you've got a son to look after, not me." He teased before forming a portal and walked through it, ditching me. I laughed and curled up in our bed then started to watch the bathroom door, waiting for him to get done and come back out to me. I'd have to teach him to be more demon like. He walked out in a robe after a few minutes.
"Can I have pants?" He asked softly. I frowned then.
"I gave you shorts.... Oh well," I told him then got to my feet, going into Emile's closet then got a pair of pants he didn't wear often. I brought it out to him then handed it to him. "Go get dressed," I purred in his ear. He took the pants and went back into the bathroom, coming out after a few minutes dressed in the clothes I let him borrow. He kept his hoodie though from yesterday and was still wearing it. I looked him over then smirked. "Why don't you take the hoodie off?" I suggested. "You don't have to hide yourself from me."
"No," he told me. "I want to keep it on." He looked me over. I purred at him then.
"Alright, you can keep it on for now, but you'll be getting it off eventually." I smirked and walked up to him. "So... let's get started on teaching you how to be a demon." He looked me over and frowned.
"I am one, why do I have to be taught?" He asked.
"Because you act like a two year old," I told him then grabbed his hand, using the shadows to go to Hell. He whimpered and clung to me quickly.
"I'm not two.... I just don't get out much," he mumbled.
"Well, now you're in Hell. I think you're out of your mommy's watchful gaze," I teased him then looked around my house in Hell I was standing in with him. He glanced around before looking towards me.
"Can I see Nico soon?" He asked curiously.
"In a few days if you behave," I told him and smirked then sat him down on the couch and ruffled his hair. This is going to be awhile to teach him how to be a great demon like me....
"A few days?" He asked and whined. His ears fell down as he gave me a sad look. He brought his feet up onto the couch and his knees to his chest. "I need some of my clothes then if I've got to stay with you that long... I want my DS charger too so it doesn't die on me.... and I need my own bed... and-" He reached down and grabbed his stomach. "I'm reallllly hungry. Could I have some warm milk and- something healthy for breakfast? I need three meals a day- not counting my snacks in-between. IF I have to stay with you then the least you can do is make sure I have everything I need on my list for the week. Oh and I do mean healthy food. Mom doesn't want me to eat unhealthy. If I'm staying, she'll want me to eat good. You don't want her upset at you do you? I also take a nap at noon."
"I don't care if your mother gets upset at me," I scoffed. "There is a guest bedroom here that you can use, and if you want food, you'll have to tell me," I told him then made a warm glass of milk appear in my hand and gave it to him before I got him a plate of salmon with a side salad and put it on the coffee table with a fork. "And the longer it takes for you to learn, the longer you'll be away from Nico, so I don't advise the naps." He watched me and sipped on his milk.
"You should care about my mother. I don't want her mad at me.... and I know she's going to be furious when I see her," he laid his ears down and looked sad. "She'll yell at me again," he mumbled. "You shouldn't have brought me here. My mom is expecting me." I frowned then.
"Your mother yells at you?" I asked him then looked him over. "Well, you're better off with me anyways. You need to learn how to be a demon before the demon catches up to you. You would hate to suddenly get cravings and not know how to take care of them," I purred, amused as I watched him. "Besides, I'm way cooler than your controlling mother."
"I don't know... my mom would let me see Nico," he mumbled.
"You can see Nico after I teach you how to be a demon," I told him and ruffled his hair. "Besides, I would let you sleep in Nico's bed to cuddle with him before marriage~" That is a little insane of her. She doesn't get married but she sleeps around. Her kid only wanted to lay in the bed- he might want more though once I make him more demon than newborn kitten. He sat his cup down and pulled his plate to him, starting to eat the salmon first. I watched him and purred before I smirked slightly. I could give him his first taste of a soul.... I looked him over then rubbed his ears before I got to my feet. "I've got a small gift for you. Stay here," I purred. I'll have to retrieve one of my contracts waiting to die. He sneezed quickly and was quick enough to shove his food away from the sneeze. He looked up at me and frowned.
"A gift?" He asked and lifted his ears a little. "Is it Nico?" I frowned.
"If I brought Nico here, he'd be terrified and his soul would go into a panic. The longer he stays here, the closer to demonic he becomes," I told him then shook my head. "Bringing him here would be torture for him." He whined.
"Am I going to visit him then?" He asked curiously.
"You can visit him later tonight as a reward," I hummed out thoughtfully. "You have to listen to me though and behave, and you'd be coming back here with me as well after seeing him."
"Okay," he whispered and went back to eating his fish. I watched him then disappeared, going to fetch him his first soul.
Malakai's POV:
My dad reappeared in front of me, coming from the shadows like he had disappeared. He was holding a small white tea cup with a cute rose shape to it and sat it down on a little plate in front of me then made my empty plate of salmon disappear. "Drink it," he purred to me then sat down on the couch beside me. "I know it's empty looking, but it's not." I raised an eyebrow and looked towards him. Oh god he is insane! He thinks an empty cup has something in it. I've got to get out of here somehow.
"No.... I don't think I will," I mumbled and scooted away from him. He raised an eyebrow at me then pulled me back.
"Don't look at me like that. I couldn't very well offer you the body with it. You'd freak out for your first time," he purred at me. "In that cup is a very special kind of food. It's a soul- demon food. You can't see it, but it's there in a tea form. You'll like it."
"A soul?" I asked worriedly. How is a soul in a teacup? "I'm not drinking a soul!" I shook my head quickly. He's crazy.
"Then you're not going to see Nico," he told me calmly and picked up the cup, taking a small sip before he put it back down.
"You can't keep me here forever," I grumbled. "My mom will come for me."
"She can't come here," he told me simply. "We're in Hell. Only demons can get in here on their own. Now, try a sip, or no Nico."
"I'm not," I told him firmly. "I won't take a sip of that... I can't even see it and... that's terrible." I looked him over horrified. He took a sip of it. He sighed.
"It's not terrible. That soul sold itself to me. It knew what would happen to it," he told me and smirked. "It's not like I took the soul without permission. It made a deal. Demons are meant to devour souls. You'll eventually have cravings for souls too, and I bet you'd hate to wake up to find Nico's soulless corpse beside you because you devoured him hungrily in a starved state." I felt my ears go back as I thought over what he told me. Is it true? I'd hurt Nico without meaning to? That's not right.
"I wouldn't hurt Nico," I whispered softly.
"One day you might. Your demon side will eventually wake up hungry," he purred at me. "You're half demon. It's in your blood. You can't change that, and your mother can't hide you from that forever." I sniffled as I felt my eyes watering. I don't want to hurt people... Especially Nico.
"I don't want to be a demon," I mumbled.
"You can't change it," he reminded me. "The only thing you can do... is learn how to be one... how to not starve yourself...." He purred at me then leaned over, kissing my forehead. "The first step... is drinking the soul tea."
"But I don't want to eat someone's soul.... What happens then to them?" I asked and whimpered.
"They won't exist anymore," he told me calmly. "It won't hurt them. Their pain is over." He rubbed my cheek then before he sighed. "Let me show you what happens to the bad souls that aren't eaten- the damned souls." He got to his feet then scooped me up into his arms, carrying me over to a door then unlocked it and opened it. I heard tortured screams echoing everywhere and saw souls crawling to get away from monsters. I saw one get caught then before the monster bit down into it's leg then started to drag it through the dirt towards a pit of fire, snarling loudly as the soul shrieked in pain, clawing at the dirt to try to get a grip and prevent being dragged. I widened my eyes in horror and felt my heart race in my chest. I buried my face quickly into his chest and trembled.
"That's horrible," I whimpered. He shut the door then and carried me over to the couch.
"See? This is better for the soul," he purred to me and sat me on the couch. "It's pain was quick and only for a brief moment. Those souls will be tortured forever. Of course, it does hurt the soul when you devour them from their body while they're alive, but this one is detached from it's body. All you have to do is eat it. It won't hurt the soul. You'd be doing it a favor because if it had died a normal death, chances are it would've landed out there." I sniffled and shook my head.
"This is awful," I whispered. "I want to go home." I rubbed at my eyes then. I'll never get those screams out of my head. He sighed then pulled me close to him as he sat down and started to rub my back.
"You're fine," he mumbled. "You are home. You'll get used to this." He picked up the tea cup then placed it in my hands. "Look, just give it a small sip. I'll finish it off for you, and then you won't have to have another one for a long time." The teacup was cold to the touch, but I got a strange sort of excitement from holding it as I looked at it.
"This isn't my home," I mumbled and looked the cup over. I felt a little scared then at the power it was having over me. I pushed it towards him, wanting him to take it back. "My home is with my mom." He growled a little at me then, narrowing his eyes before he snatched the cup and got to his feet.
"Your room is over there," he hissed lightly, pointing to a door then went through another one, slamming it shut behind him. I teared up as I watched him leave. What's wrong with him? I curled up on the couch and made the hoodie cover my whole body as I balled up in it for comfort. I took my Nintendo with me and turned it on, wanting to play with Max while I could. I waited as the game loaded for me before watching Max run around and come towards me. He was already hungry, thirsty, and dirty. I'd have to feed him, water him, and give him a bath before I take him out for a walk. He's a handful... I don't know what I'd do if I had an actual pet to take care of.
After a few hours, dad walked back out of the room slowly and leaned up against the door as he shut it then watched me with a guarded look, his eyes glancing me over. I held back my urge to look at him, not wanting to give into him. He's the crazy one. I'm fine. I'll be fine. He started to walk over then sat down on the edge of the couch before a glass of warm milk appeared in his hands and he sat it down on the table then produced a plate of chocolate chip cookies, putting it beside the milk. "I shouldn't have lost my temper with you. You're a child," he murmured to me. I looked towards the milk eagerly before closing my game and came out of my hoodie. I took the milk quickly and started to drink it. He watched me then purred softly. "If you're actually healthy eating and drinking human food, I guess you won't need to eat a soul anytime soon. You might need one later in your existence though." I looked towards him and frowned.
"I won't eat one," I whispered to him. "That's not right... My mother taught me not to hurt people... Especially not to eat people." He chuckled then.
"Rules are meant to be bent," he purred at me. "Those rules apply to others. You're half demon," he reminded me then rubbed my cheek. "You just don't know what that means yet, but you'll know soon enough. After you finish your plate of cookies though, I'll take you to see Nico for a small visit."
"Really?" I asked and pushed the cookies away. "I'm done." He laughed then.
"You really like Nico, huh?" He purred then. "Is he going to be your Emile?" He ruffled my hair then. "We'll be coming back here though after you visit."
"Nico is my best friend," I told him quickly. "He fed me a strawberry and danced with me." He laughed then.
"Alright," he purred and smirked. "You're going to be more than friends though- when you marry him that is."
"As long as we're friends," I told him. It doesn't matter to me... I'm just glad he's my friend. He laughed then.
"You'll end up mating with him," he purred and pulled his hand back. "Of course you'll be more than friends at that point." I lowered my ears.
"Don't mention that," I whispered. I don't want to even think about something like that right now... I'm not even supposed to cuddle him in bed yet. He laughed then.
"So you do know what that is?" He asked me softly. "Good, I won't have to tell you." He pulled me into his arms then and we were suddenly in the ballroom from last night. "Go play with Nico for a bit. I'm going to go talk to Rei."
"Why're you talking to Rei?" I asked curiously.
"About your marriage," he hummed out. "Your mother should be here too today. I'm going to mess with her. Now go find Nico and spend as much time as you can with him because we're going home right before the sunrise." I nodded before walking towards the doors and looked around for a servant to get help to find Nico. I spotted Nico walking down the hall instead though, headed for an elevator with a glass of blood in his hands. He took a sip of it then hit the button, looking at the doors expectantly.
"Nico!" I yelled and took off running for him. "Nico!" I yelled in excitement. He yelped and looked towards me with shocked, wide eyes then quickly downed his blood, staring at me. I ran up to him and tackled him into a hug, wrapping my arms around him longingly.
"He tried to make me eat a soul," I cried out and sniffled. "He showed me people screaming and being dragged away-" I sniffled and clung to him. "Nico," I whined. He dropped the glass and I heard it shatter on the floor at our feet.
"M-Malakai, you're back," he whispered in surprise then slowly wrapped his arms around me. I suddenly heard him burst out into a purr and he yanked me closer in his arms.
"Uh-huh! But he said he's going to take me back!" I whimpered out. "Don't let him," I begged and rubbed my head against him. "He's going to try to make me like him... but I want to be like you." He quickly kissed the top of my head then between my ears.
"I won't let him," he promised me quickly. "You're my kitty fiancé!" I relaxed against him and wrapped my arms around his neck. Nico~
"Don't let me go back there," I mumbled softly. "He made me sleep between him and Emile."
"Ewwww, you're only supposed to sleep in my bed," he told me then scooped me up into his arms, carrying me onto the elevator. "I'll hide you in my room," he purred to me sweetly, giving me a pleased look. "I missed you~ I was worried you might not come back... and then I'd have to make another friend, and I'd be sad."
"What?" I whined. "I'm your friend," I told him. "I missed you too!" I leaned in towards his neck and licked him, letting my cat-like tongue scratch against his skin. He shivered a little then melted a bit, tilting his head back as my tongue traveled up his neck. He giggled and squirmed.
"Malakai~ That feels funny," he told me and giggled again. I giggled and nuzzled my head against his neck, purring some more.
"Don't ever let me go again like that," I begged. "I was so lonely without you and Max missed you too." He purred to me and then held me close.
"I won't.... You should move in with me~! Daddy wouldn't mind, and we'd be able to see each other everyday!" He laughed then kissed my cheek. "What do you say? Wanna live with me?"
"But.... I live with my mom," I whispered softly. I wouldn't get to see her as much... "Move in with me." He frowned at me then.
"But dad wouldn't be happy... and I don't have weird rules here." He held me closer to him then.
"But I love my mom," I whispered. There's nothing wrong with her and her rules.... Why do they not like them? He watched me before he sighed and nodded.
"Okay... we should wait till we are married anyways...." He gave a soft smile then.
"I'll visit you often until I marry you. Then we'll get our own place." I looked up at him sweetly. He nodded then kissed my cheek.
"Our own place sounds nice," he purred to me happily, looking into my eyes as the elevator dinged and he carried me off it. I looked around curiously, wondering what his room would be like. We could play-
"Can I have my things the servant left me?" I asked him quickly. "I'd like to change clothes."
"Yeah, your stuff is in my room for safe keeping already," he told me and carried me to a door then took me in. His room had a pure white carpet with white walls with a royal blue trim running across the top that had painted gold swirls on it. His bed was up against the wall ahead of us and was huge, a black comforter covering it and a ton of pillows up at the top, piled up on each other with blue and white pillow covers on them. Two nightstands stood on either side of his bed, beautiful dark stained wood that matched his headboard. A black couch was on the wall to the right, facing a flat screen TV that had a gaming system set up on the entertainment center it sat on, and between the couch and TV was a sleek coffee table. I could see posters on his wall of cute drawings of people like that Neko he had shown me but without the ears and tails- one of them saying Soul Eater in the corner. A Twilight poster was between two doors on the left wall that both stood open- his closet and his bathroom. He sat me down on the fluffy carpet and purred, shutting and locking the door behind him.
"Your room is really pretty," I told him and looked around his room for my things. I spotted my bags piled up in the far corner, waiting for me. He purred at me and walked past, going up to his bed and fell down in it, curling up to it with a cute purr. I walked up to my things and knelt down, going through them. I purred as I found my favorite sweat pants- they had Mario Brothers on them and I had a matching shirt with them. I giggled and pulled them both out before looking towards Nico.
"Which door is your bathroom?" I asked sweetly.
"The one on the right," he told me and pulled one of his pillows close to him, cuddling with it. "You can take a bath if you'd like."
"I already had one," I purred sweetly before heading into the bathroom and shut the door behind me. I changed into my matching outfit, balling up the borrowed clothes and placed them inside my hoodie, balling it up as well. I placed my games and Nintendo inside my sweatpants' pocket and walked out, putting the clothes in my bag that I had taken off. I went over to his couch and sat down, curling up into a ball on it and grabbed my tail, rubbing the fur. I purred a little as I looked towards Nico. He was snuggling with a pillow, nuzzling his face against it as he held it close to him. He rolled over with it to look at me and laughed as he gave the pillow a squeeze. I purred and flicked my ears before rubbing my head against the couch. He ditched the pillow then and walked over to me, sitting on the couch beside me and laughed, watching. I sat up and crawled into his lap then rested my head against his chest.
"Nico," I purred out.
"Hey," he purred softly back then kissed the top of my head, wrapping me up in his arms. I looked towards the TV with interest.
"Can we watch a movie?" I asked curiously. He looked towards the TV then nodded, grabbing a nearby remote and turned it on then smirked, putting a movie on that was already in the player.
"We'll watch Twilight," he told me then kissed my cheek, pulling me closer as the movie started to play about a girl leaving the desert. I twitched my ear as I watched curiously as the movie continued and shrieked when Edward smashed the tree after taking Bella up the trail through the mountains. He giggled at me then kissed near my ear. I sneezed quickly and flicked my ears. He laughed and then kissed my neck with a playful purr. I purred as the movie continued on and laid my ears back at the bitter end. Poor Bella.... she didn't get what she wanted from Edward. He's a huge tease! He smiled at me then moved me out of his lap, getting up. "Want to watch the second one?" He asked me, heading over to a shelf of movies and games. "I have them all."
"There's more?" I asked and gasped. "Okay!" I giggled and looked him over. "How many more are there?"
"Well, there are four of them, but the fourth has two parts to it, so it's five movies," he told me, grabbing four other movies. He walked over to the player and started to set up the next one before he walked over to me. He picked me up again then put me down in his lap as he sat down, hunkering down with me as we started a marathon.
When it was over my eyes were getting heavy and I let out a yawn. My stomach grumbled with hunger, the only thing still keeping me up. "I'm hungry Nico," I whispered. He purred to me then and I saw him bringing his wrist up to his lips, biting into it. I saw his blood drip down his arm and he offered it to me.
"Here, you can have some," he told me sweetly. I looked towards his wrist and lowered my ears a little.
"Are you sure?" I asked softly. He smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I don't mind you drinking my blood," he told me then rubbed my head. "You're going to marry me after all." I blushed before leaning in towards his wrist and licked it, trying his blood. I purred a little at the taste. It was delicious and sweet, tasting a little like chocolate. He kissed the top of my head and wrapped his free arm around me before his hand traveled to my tail curiously. I started to suck his wound, purring from the flavor. Oh.. Okay..... Chocolate is so new to me in blood. Why's his blood so odd tasting? He moaned and I felt him holding onto my tail as he closed his eyes, shifting from the feeling of me sucking the wound. I pulled back from his wrist and licked my lips.
"You okay?" I asked.
"U-uh huh," he hummed out, starting to blush as he opened his eyes and looked at me. I felt his thumb rubbing my tail then, running down my tail. I purred and leaned up against his chest again, rubbing my head against him. He laughed and I felt him kiss the top of my head softly before his other hand touched my cheek and made me tilt my head up a little. He leaned down and placed a quick kiss on my lips before he pulled his face away and blushed, rubbing my tail as he hid his face into my hair. I blushed quickly and gripped his shirt. He stole my first kiss from me! I was waiting for my wedding vows.... He removed his hand from my cheek then and let go of my tail, wrapping his arms around me as he kept his face hidden in my hair.
"Thief," I mumbled out.
"Thief?" He asked and moved back from my hair in confusion, looking down at me.
"You stole my first kiss," I mumbled out and lowered my ears. "That was for my wedding day." He blushed then.
"It was my first kiss too," he told me then bit his bottom lip.
"You stole my first kiss," I mumbled. "You owe me. I want a tuna sandwich in return."
"I didn't steal it. I paid for it with my first kiss," he mumbled back to me. I flicked my ears then.
"I'll remember this," I warned him.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked and frowned as he pulled out a phone, texting a maid for a tuna sandwich to be brought to his room. I smiled wide and rubbed my head up under his chin.
"It means I'll remember it when you go to kiss me at the alter. I'm gonna lean away." He frowned at me then and squirmed.
"You can't lean away!" He told me quickly. "If you lean away, we can't get married!"
"Really?" I asked softly. "Well.... okay... but I'll keep it in mind when we're older," I warned. "Mhmm... I'll tell our kids that if we have any that you stole the first kiss from me."
"Okay?" He asked and frowned. "I think they would find that funny." He laughed then before he gave a small little smirk and stole another. I blushed and hid my lips from him quickly. OMG HE'S A THIEF! THIEF! I panicked and hid my face entirely against his neck. He tensed slightly as I got near his neck, and I heard him make a small noise of surprise, tightening his grip on me. I licked his neck then, letting my tongue scratch him. I felt a shiver go through him and he squirmed. "M-Malakai!" He laughed then. "That tickles!" I giggled before looking towards the door and twitched my ears as I heard footsteps. I stood up quickly, wondering if it was the servant bringing me the tuna sandwich. Nico looked towards his door in confusion then got to his feet, walking over to the door and stood by it. I watched as the door handle jiggled before someone knocked on the door. "Who is it?" Nico called out, tensing up.
"Queen Sophie Sutton. I-"
"Mommy!" I yelled and rushed towards the door in excitement. Nico widened his eyes then whined at me.
"Don't let her know you're in here! You told me she has too many rules! I don't want her in here," He whined at me. I frowned as I stopped by Nico.
"She only has them set up to raise me good," I mumbled. "I miss her," I whispered to him. He took a deep breath then sighed.
"Fine," he muttered. "She'll just snatch you and take you home," he told me then unlocked the door, opening it with a frown. She gave us a huge smile before holding out her arms.
"Malakai!" She yelled. "Come to mommy." I giggled and ran up to her, tackling her into a hug. She hugged me tightly before giving my head a ton of kisses. "Oh thank god.... you're still my innocent little boy. Your dad didn't ruin your mind. You're not to go anywhere with him again, understood?" She asked me and tilted my head up to look at her. She glanced towards Nico. "So are you the boy that's going to marry my little Malakai?" She asked.
