Kingsley's POV:
The council was arguing over one of Silas's last orders before he got married, something about him wanting to make it harder to get your hands on vampire hunter weapons without being checked out by the council and getting a permit to own them, debating over how practical it was. He had also wanted to make it illegal to sell blood unless you got a permit to from the council, which angered some of the older ones. It was giving me a headache as they bickered back and forth with each other on whether or not to agree with Silas on the solutions to the problems he wanted to solve.
"We can't just tell people that they can't sell blood without a permit! It'll turn into favoritism by the council and it'll become a monopoly without competition," the Russian queen growled and narrowed her eyes.
"Well look at it this way, it eliminates us having to worry about bad conditions and illegal settings and-"
"The vampires will disobey the rule anyways! There's no reason why this should become a practice-" The doors were suddenly thrown open, shutting them up as a little boy walked in, covered in blood with a half starved, crazed look as his black hair fell into his face. He groaned and let out a sharp whimper, his stomach rumbling with hunger before he eyed down one of the nearest council members and rushed at her, tackling her out of her chair before she could react and bit into her harshly, tearing out a chunk of her flesh and eating it.
"Well I'd say if we keep ignoring our blood problems we'll have more of these fuckers running in on us," I heard one of the members grumbling. "Someone get the brat off her. Who turns little kids anyways?" I rubbed my temples as the council started to rush to get the kid under control. I let out a sigh of aggravation. I hate being king. I looked towards Aurelio, I always had him come with me and stand up against the wall. Just incase I needed him at my side.... Plus he's always been wonderful company.
"I'm ready to leave," I told him. The child bit the hand of one of the people going after him and snarled, not using any fangs. It's scent caught my attention then, not a vampire at all but something I'd never smelled before. I noticed the kid was crying a little as it bit down into them, looking extremely hungry. He broke the bones in the hand and then pulled back, turning his attention back to the girl he had pinned and started to finish her off quickly while the council member shrieked and stumbled back, cradling his hand. I got to my feet and rushed over, shoving the others back as I grabbed the kid. "Aurelio, I want a muzzle!" I told him. He pulled one out of his pocket and walked over and started to force it around the kid's face then pulled out handcuffs and cuffed his hands.
"HANG HIM!" One of the members shouted.
"OFF WITH HIS HEAD!" Another shouted, a girl.
"No, I'll be taking him into custody. He's not a vampire or human." The kid whimpered in my hands and struggled weakly, using all the strength he had to attempt to get free but wasn't able to with his strength. He was too weak, too starved. He cried out and looked hungrily at the woman who was holding her neck and crying as her body tried to heal itself.
"Please," he begged. "So h-hungry," he whispered, his voice barely coming out but it sounded heartbroken as he tugged at the handcuffs and tried to take the muzzle off with a starved cry.
"You can't take him! He attacked a council member! He should die! No matter what he is!" Another member shouted angrily, exposing his fangs as he looked at the boy. "He will be put to death!" The boy whimpered and curled up, his tummy growling as the fight started to leave him and he just cried pitifully for food, giving me a pleading look as he tried to lick his lips to get the blood off them with the muzzle on.
"It's a ghoul," one of the members said quietly, looking at the boy. He was one of the calmer members who didn't fight much. He was mostly a scholar at heart and liked reading books and studying. "They're almost extinct because of how they eat. It gets them killed quickly when they're found. No one wants to be eaten alive. They're basically monsters that look human and are frequently called cannibals, but they're not because they're not human. The human race kills them when they find them, thinking they're cannibals... and other supernaturals kill them out of disgust and fear for their lives if they find them amongst them. It's just a child, probably separated from it's mother... or it's mother is dead. It came looking for someone to eat and found a room full of vampires- a tasty treat if you can get them down for good without being bitten back," he told us and walked up. "It looks like it hasn't eaten in a few weeks. It's starved and has almost no control. It's hunger is probably hurting it at this stage. It will kill anyone and anything it can get it's hands on.... If you're going to keep it Kingsley, then you're going to have to find some meat to feed it. If you can get your hands on a corpse, it'll eat it quickly and stop trying to attack someone more than likely. I doubt it would've attacked us if it wasn't starving. They aren't complete beasts, just more driven by hunger than us," he mumbled to me, inspecting the child. "Badly treated too.... It's wearing clothes stained from blood from months ago... and it has dirt all over it. It was more than likely stuck on the street without a mother... or in captivity," he told me and crossed his arms, looking at me. "I would say captivity though.... If the child was found on the street like this, humans would've reported him to the authorities or they would've killed him. Someone deliberately locked the ghoul up and starved him then set him on us more than likely.... It was the resistance if anybody. Finding a ghoul is hard too... and capturing one and locking them up is difficult too... and the mothers are extremely protective over their young. His mother is probably dead... the father too. It'd be wrong to kill him for trying to find food when it's not his fault. He's probably really sweet when he's not crazed and looking for something to ease his starvation." He smiled and then rubbed the kid's head, being careful not to put his hand near the muzzle on him. The kid tensed up at his touch and started to drool, eyeing his hand down hungrily and jerked his head, going for him then yelped when the muzzle blocked the way. The guy smiled at him and shook his head. "Don't worry. I think I know a place where you can get a body fresh enough for him to eat. There was a recent car crash nearby. The hospital is holding the bodies for an autopsy, and I'm a doctor there. I can give you the bodies," he told me and then pulled out his phone. "Would you like me to do that... or would you rather be on your own and deal with him in your own fashion Kingsley? We can't just let the rest of the council handle him after all. They want his head."
"We better feed him first then ask him questions if anything," I told everyone. "The kid owes us questions. Killing and then asking questions will get us no where." I heard the members calming down as they began to agree with us. "After al, if this is the resistance, then we'll have to change buildings immediately for our next meetings. We don't want another ambush like this. Aurelio, go to the hospital's morgue and retrieve the kid a corpse." Aurelio gave a small smirk towards me before disappearing.
"You're starting to surpass your Uncle Tomas, K.V." One of the queens told me in amusement. "He would have wanted the kid dead as well without questions." I frowned as I remembered my Uncle's funeral and how in his will I was left his crown. Fucking bastard, it's as if he knew I was the perfect choice because of my similarities to Lyle. He wanted to raise suspicion to the council about us. The doctor gave me a questioning look but didn't say anything as the kid squirmed in my arms then let out a loud cry of panic when he couldn't get away. He whimpered and started to cry, his tears running streaks down his dirty face. He looked towards the doctor hungrily and tried to reach out for him with a pleading look, his chains jingling against each other. The doctor frowned and looked him over, starting to inspect him before he looked towards one of the servants that had accompanied him to help him with holding his paperwork and whatnot.
"Get him a glass of milk would you? He looks like he is young enough for his body to still be able to handle it," the doctor told him and smiled. The butler nodded and walked off, coming back with it then handed it to the doctor who held it out to me. "Milk is filling. He might calm down if he feels like he isn't about to starve to death... but still watch him in case he attacks again." Aurelio came back suddenly with a plate of fresh meat- I caught the scent though of a dead human corpse. He sat it down on the table and took the muzzle off of the boy and pulled out a fork and knife for the boy before Aurelio made me step back a few steps from him.
The boy looked towards it hungrily and walked up to it, smelling it curiously before he started to eat it, moaning and began to dig in without the utensils. The doctor watched him with interest before he sat the milk down carefully beside him and backed up as the kid devoured the meat quickly. He looked towards the milk and smelled it before he drank it greedily, sinking to his knees with it as his body began to relax. He glanced around as he finished it and licked his lips, eyeing another vampire down hungrily but stayed where he was. He looked towards me then curiously before he glanced at the muzzle in Aurelio's hands and shrunk back. "Please don't put that on me again," he begged, looking fearful as he held his hands close to his chest defensively.
"Only if you learn to control your hungry instincts to bite others in this room," I told him, "If you can't then I won't hesitate to give the council what it wants." I took a seat at the table again. "Now, why're you here?" I asked him. He bit his bottom lip nervously and got to his feet, fidgeting.
"I-I don't know," he whispered and tugged at his dirty, bloodstained shirt. "They dropped me off outside... and I was hungry," he whimpered. "They found me after mommy was killed...." He glanced over at one of the closer members of the council and started to drool a bit, eyeing his neck down. He slowly returned his attention to me though and walked up, sniffling a bit as he crawled into my lap and curled up. "I won't hurt anyone. I swear! I was only hungry!" He started to cry and gripped my shirt. "Please don't let them kill me! I don't want to die!"
"I'm not going to let anyone kill a helpless child, calm down." I gave him a reassuring smile before I looked across the room. "Which one of you has an amazing sense of smell? I want you to come sniff him and we'll see who the culprit is." Aurelio pulled out a container in his pants and walked up, placing it down in front of me and opened it.
"Here, you can have a little more for now. We need to save that corpse though and make it last you a week." He tapped the kid on his nose. "If you get real hungry I'll just cut a finger off of Kingsley and feed you it." I gave him a disgusted look.
"Don't train him to eat me!" I hissed. I looked at the container, seeing a human heart inside. The kid looked towards it hungrily and picked it up, starting to eat it quickly in my lap. I could feel his body relaxing as he ate, calming down as he got some more food. He leaned his head down on my shoulder as he finished it off and nuzzled his head against me, licking his lips.
"He likes you," the doctor teased me, smirking a bit.
"I guess I'll keep him and raise him," I decided towards the council. Lyle appeared suddenly with a girl clinging to him and Milo.
"Sorry I'm late, I forgot I was holding the place of Silas for him and Rei." Lyle laughed and sat down at the table. "Laurence had to remind me. So what's happening this fine night?" I lit up in excitement seeing him and got to my feet, giving the kid to Aurelio and rushed to Lyle's side.
"LYLE!" I flung myself onto him and laughed. "How come you didn't invite me?" I asked him, knowing well about his little trip to Japan. That's so unfair. He could have came to my castle and I would have took him in as quickly as he needed.
"OH DEAR DEVIL, GET OFF ME!" Lyle shoved me off. "You're a king now, act like it." He teased me. I pursed my lips and stomped back to my seat and sat down. Ass. The kid looked at Lyle curiously and then struggled to get down from Aurelio's arms, slipping away from him before he started to sneak up to Lyle and smelled him. Lyle looked the kid over then towards Aurelio and me.
"So who's the lady?" He teased. I felt my face go three shades of pink as warmth flooded my face.
"NO! IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" I yelped.
"What does it look like?" I heard a council member ask.
"You look like mommy," the kid mumbled, looking at me then at Lyle curiously.
"Are you two ever going to tell us that little secret?" The same council member asked. I looked around the table.
"Oh, long story short, I was adopted by the Rosario family after having a thrilling experience of being cradle robbed and sold at auction. The Void family was my real family at birth but they're not my family now. I belong to the Rosario family. That little ball of excitement over there is supposed to be my younger brother."
"Than you're really supposed to have his crown?"
"No, he can keep it and Silas can keep his crown. I'm just an adoring brother now waving a white flag." Lyle told them. "Now, any questions or can we go on with our meeting of the night?"
"Well now that we know what's going on...." The council member sighed. "I supposed it's none of our business it's only yours and your situation-"
"Exactly now shut the hell up about my past and his because it's none of your business."
"Lyle, you don't have to snap so quickly at us. Hell you've known us since you took the crown from Enoch Rosario when his tragic death happened."
"There is somethings you shouldn't know," I sighed out. "Now sometimes you need to keep your questions under the table."
"Yes but we all know you two looked so closely related.... Hell you almost look like twins."
"So as you've all heard, Silas and Rei's kingdoms are combined in holy matrimony. They're away on their honeymoon as we speak. What's with the kid and smell of blood? Am I missing something?" The lady who was attacked earlier glared at the kid then looked at Lyle.
"Yes, you are. You missed the attack of the little monster," she spat. The kid looked at her innocently and smiled.
"Oh that's too bad... No wonder why Laurence was distracting me!" Lyle looked at Milo. "It's a good thing too. I wouldn't want you to be hurt."
"We're currently deciding on what to do with the culprit. He wasn't just an accident. Someone mistreated him and let him starve before sticking him out on the street near here-"
"We're going to move buildings for our next meeting."
"Well the Rosario castle is currently in reconstruction. A fire got loose and burnt it down. So we can't have the meetings there even though it is the closest to here."
"How about my castle? I'm not that far off," I told everyone. "Thanks to my Uncle Tomas, I now have a closer home to the Rosario castle and I assure you-"
"After those rogues attacking? I rather come here!" One of the memebers shouted.
"Rogues?" Lyle asked in confusion and looked at me. "I didn't hear about...."
"That's how Uncle Tomas met his death so quickly," I whispered.
"So it sounds like someone is after the council after all! WE'RE ALL DOOMED!"
"It's probably the resistance," Lyle said calmly.
"THAT'S EVEN WORSE! THOSE LITTLE RATS! AFTER ALL WE'VE DONE FOR THEM!"
"Please, control yourself," an older member begged. "It's no need to get your butt tightened up. We've taking out those rats before-"
"THEY'RE LIKE ROACHES! They keep coming back."
"Yes, they are," the old man agreed.
"We could always eat them," the little kid mumbled and then bounced back over to me, crawling into my lap with a huge smile.
"We don't eat our own kind, it's not healthy." I let him know instantly. "We'd have to puke the blood up quickly if we consumed wholes of it."
"That's why we treat the humans so greatly because they're the only thing we can feed off of and not get a tummy ache."
"Even drinking from your mate can be unhealthy, especially if you're just drinking from each other, eventually you're drinking your own blood."
"I know what we'll do," Lyle said quickly. "I have the best idea about how we'll get rid of the resistance this time."
"Sick Silas on them?" Milo asked and held back a laugh. "He'd probably know where they hide."
"Close enough," Lyle laughed. "I thought about having him go under cover. He's had past ties with them before."
"Yeah, what happened about that? What happened to Jason?" A member asked.
"Oh Jason paid a price. He killed Enoch and Ella.-" Lyle bean.
"What!?" A member asked.
"Please do go on," a member begged.
"It's a long story, but in the end my family go revenge on the Nero family for having murdered our parents."
"Those filthy Nero's! We trusted those fuckers. We'll never let another fucking hunter back on this council!" One of them said in outrage. Of course Lyle's Rosario parents were loved by every council member. Even my uncle Tomas was fascinated by them.
"Language," said an older council member.
"FUCK LANGUAGE!"
"Please," the older member begged. "Act like the royalty you are-"
"Where was I?" Lyle asked and interupted them. "Oh right! Silas had been messing around with the resistance but somethings happened and he's now turned completely onto our side. I don't want to say more. This is something that needs to stay within my family's matters."
"Alright Lyle," a member said smoothly. "So since he has past ties, I figure he'll be easy to slip back in and figure out the motives of the resistance and who's running it." Lyle turned towards me then. "I also trust you can provide us a list of hide outs. You've done it before." I nodded.
"It's true, I've found the hide outs before, I can do it again."
"Looks like this meet is coming to a close. Now where will we meet next?" Lyle asked.
"I assure you my castle is safe," I begged the council. "I've brought in high security to watch over it. No rogues will come within feet of it." Milo smiled.
"It'd be cool to spend some time at Kingsley's castle," he suggested to the council with me. "He's a really great host." A council member looked me over then nodded.
"We'll take you up on the offer Kingsley, but don't disappoint us. We don't want to be murdered," he told me firmly then looked at the others. "If you have a problem with it, don't bother showing up to the next meeting. We'll meet in two weeks." The guy grabbed his stuff and looked around the room before he started to leave cautiously. "There better not be anyone outside," he muttered. Lyle got to his feet and walked over to me, sitting down on the table in front of me and crossed his legs.
"So, how's life as a king?" He asked me and leaned over, brushing his fingers through my hair. I blushed. He could be king in my spot.... but he's not. Fate chose differently.... yet still he wanted to remain a commoner.... Not royal.... He could have fought and stayed as the crowned king of Rosario.
"You really need to visit me often," I purred to him. He smiled.
"So Uncle Tomas?" He asked. "I didn't realize that old man was your uncle. I did know you was related to royalty though, it was all in your scent."
"It's in yours too," I purred.
"Lyle, we need to be going," the girl said. "Laurence didn't want us gone for long." Milo whined and ran up to Aurelio.
"Laurence doesn't need to know!" Milo complained. "We're fine anyways. I never get to see Aurelio much." Aurelio laughed and hugged Milo tightly.
"How are you?" Aurelio asked.
"Whose the girl?" I asked.
"Rei's fledgling. Her name is Mauri. She's a teleporter." I nodded as I looked her over.
"So, you showed up for both of them?" I teased Lyle.
"They're mated and married now," Lyle sighed out. "Never thought I'd have to give my brother up so quickly to another king." Milo laughed.
"Well they look cute together at least! Silas was into anime too. He'll like being mated to the Japanese king," he purred in amusement then hugged Aurelio with a huge smile.
"Hey, by the way... When Silas and Rei are back from their honey moon I want to go on a trip with Milo around the world. You think you'll be too busy to join?" Lyle asked. I blushed and shook my head no.
"Of course I'll join!" I told him in excitement.
"Great, I don't want you to turn out into another one of me. I never made time for fun time. You will though," he held my cheek then and kissed my forehead. "I'll let you know when we're about to go on the trip and I'll come get you." Milo smiled and looked at Aurelio.
"That means you're coming too, right?" He asked quickly.
"Wouldn't miss it!" Aurelio told him. "K.V.'S butt gots one name written all over it and I'm going to make sure it stays in my sight." Milo giggled.
"You really like K.V. don't you?" He teased Aurelio.
"Well he's very nice to have around."
"Wizards don't have soul mates," I whispered. Milo nodded and smiled.
"Doesn't that make it sweeter though? It means he got to pick you," he told me and walked over to Lyle, sitting on the table beside him. "I think that means more than being mated."
"Yeah but Kingsley has to still choose me," Aurelio said as he walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders. "He's still waiting for his soul mate though," he leaned down and purred in my ear. "But he knows that I can treat him so much better," his arms left my shoulders and traveled down my arms.
"It's so hard to find a soul mate anyways," Milo mumbled. "I don't see why you'd wait. You might never find him." The kid eyed Aurelio's hands down, a small growl escaping him as he adjusted to get closer to me and away from Aurelio touching me. I felt worried then, remembering how difficult it is to find a soul mate.... But maybe just maybe I might find mine... Then I could decide by who my soul mate is if I do want him or her. Aurelio pulled away from me then and rested his hands on the back of my chair.
"He'll see one day that we're a perfect match," Aurelio said confidently. These are the days when I can't tell if Aurelio means it or if he just wants to be friends with benefits till the end of his life. The kid relaxed and looked towards Aurelio curiously, wrapping his arms around my neck. Milo smiled at us.
"Well it looks like you have an adopted kid if you want one," he suggested lightly.
"Yeah, I guess I can't give this one to you Lyle, you've already got a handful to look after." I purred. Lyle nodded.
"I barely see her anyways. I'm not even sure if she knows my name." Lyle laughed softly. Milo frowned.
"I haven't seen her in awhile.... She's alright, right? I don't remember if she came to Japan with us... did she?" He looked towards Lyle in worry.
"Don't worry," Mauri said quickly. "I took her to Japan and placed her in a nice room with a huge view. She's been really happy. Rei has even spent a few mornings with her." Milo relaxed and nodded.
"That's good...." The kid watched Milo curiously then started to crawl out of my lap, closing the space between him and Milo before he smelled him. "Hello~" Milo purred sweetly and picked the kid up, giving him a friendly smile.
"Milo, I want you to be careful with him. He's a ghoul and probably can still smell the human in you." I told Milo in worry. Lyle tensed up and looked towards the kid quickly. Milo nodded, not looking too worried as he watched the kid and held him a little closer. The kid smelled him again and looked at Milo before he settled down, letting Milo hold him and giggled.
"You're almost five," Aurelio said in joy towards Milo. "I bet you're ready to be a full vampire and away from your master's orders." Milo laughed a bit.
"I am excited to be a full vampire soon, but I think Lyle is worrying," he told Aurelio and looked over at Lyle with a sweet smile. "He doesn't want me leaving."
"You're my first fledgling and my lover, if you leave me I'm going to be pissed." Lyle told him. "Mostly because I won't know what to do." Milo leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"I won't leave you~ You're my first vampire and you're my first real lover," he purred happily. "I love you too much to leave~" Aurelio's watch dinged suddenly and he looked at it.
"Time to go," Aurelio told me. "We need to go now before you burn into bacon." I nodded at him and stood up, reaching out for the kid.
"Time to go," I told him and took him quickly from Milo. The kid squirmed a bit but then wrapped his arms around my neck.
"Where are we going?" He asked me with a cute smile. Milo laughed a little then grabbed Lyle's hand, tugging him over to the girl Mauri.
"Home," I explained. "For now we'll be taking a car." I carried him outside and into the dark alley with Aurelio trailing behind me. The kid nodded and then kissed my cheek.
"I'm Killian," he mumbled to me. "My old mommy thought it was cute...."
"I think it suits you," I purred and held back a laugh. "Killian, would you like to have my last name?" I asked him.
"What's a last name?" He asked innocently.
"My name is Kingsley Void. My first name is Kingsley, my last name is Void, and my initials are K.V. I usually tell everyone to call me by my initials." Killian nodded and gave me a sweet smile.
"Uh huh, I wanna be Killian Void," he told me happily.
"Then you need to announce to everyone that you're Killian Void, son of K.V." He giggled and nodded.
"Mkay mommy," he told me and kissed my cheek. Aurelio purred with delight and got the door to the car for us, letting us in the back seat before climbing into the front to drive us himself back to my castle I inherited from my Uncle Tomas. I made sure Killian was buckled up in his seat before I sunk down in mine. Killian looked around in awe and then looked towards me before he grabbed my hand and nuzzled his little face against it. He let out a soft sigh and then cuddled up to me the best he could before he closed his eyes and started to fall asleep against me as the car moved, knocking him out. When we arrived at my uncle's castle Alfred was standing by the front doors, tapping his foot impatiently. He was my butler I inherited from my uncle- also the family lawyer. I blushed as he practically took five steps at a time to reach me and as he flew down the stairs and grabbed me from the car, dragging me out.
"Kingsley Void! I've been waiting all night for you! Your Aunt is having a heart attach! You missed your dance lessons with her!"
"I didn't really need them anyways," I mumbled. His eyes went into the car then and he let me go. "Aurelio!" He yelled. "Stop being a bad influence on Kingsley!"
"Er-" Aurelio got out of the car. "I'm not a bad influence. I tried to tell him to take his aunt to the meeting."
"Ewe no!" I said quickly. "I'm not taking her with me to the meetings! She's enough here!" I paused and shrieked. I persuaded the council to come here! "No! I totally forgot!"
"KINGSLEY! YOU MISSED YOUR DANCE LESSONS AND MY TEA PARTY!" I heard my aunt yelling from the front doors. I froze up quickly. "Oh and I scheduled for you to throw a ball tomorrow night. I invited all the young and available princesses to go to it. As well as the bachelors incase you want to go that way!" I heard Aurelio snarl with distaste. "I even invited Miss Esther Rosario!" I widened my eyes and looked at her. "I know you are found of Lyle Rosario so I thought that you might want to see his sister!"
"Aunt Sera!" I yelled. "THAT'S NOT RIGHT!"
"But darlight! You need to be bright for tomorrow night and sweep someone off their feet! You're a king and I can't be queen forever, waiting on you to find a replacement for me!"
"Sera!" I yelled and held my head in embarrassment.
"I'll kill anyone that tries to put the moves on you," Aurelio hissed. "I swear it!"
"Who's the little boy?" Sera asked and ran down the steps to meet him. "Hi sweetie! Do you want something to eat or drink?"
"Aunt Sera, he's a ghoul." I explained. Her eyes widened. Killian opened his eyes sleepily and looked towards her before he yelped and then looked her over with shock. He unbuckled when he noticed where we were and crawled out of the car, darting for me and jumped up into my arms. "Aunt Sera, this is Killian. I adopted him."
"Aweee~ Is this where you ran off to?" She asked me. "You ran off to adopt a helpless little ghoul? You're forgiven."
"He also went to a council meeting without you," Aurelio ratted me out.
"That's fine dear!" Sera snatched Killian from me. "I always wanted a little boy to take care of! Tomas never gave me children."
"Why not?" I asked.
"He was sterol." I widened my eyes.
"Shall we go inside?" Alfred asked and started to escort us inside, to the safety of the dark castle.
"So dear Aunt Sera, the council will be coming here in two weeks for the next meeting. We seem to be having problems again with the resistance. They sent a hungry ghoul to eat us.... So our meeting place isn't safe to be at." She nodded.
"That's fine dear." She gave me a loving look. "I'll make sure the servants have this place looking presentable." Killian looked towards me longingly then looked at my aunt curiously. He sighed softly and then smelled her before he curled up in her arms and smiled. He looked towards the castle curiously and then widened his eyes.
"Whoa," he whispered.
"Oh I'm so going to spoil you! You can call me Grandma! Granny! Gran-Gran! G-MA!" She giggled and held him tightly. "Kingsley is so much like a son to me anyways~ Go ahead and call me your mommy if you'd like."
"I'm his mommy!" I told her quickly. She looked towards me.
"No, you need to make sure he doesn't call you mommy! You're a man and that's wrong." Killian looked at her innocently.
"Why can't K.V. be my mommy?" He whined.
"Because he's got a man part. So he's not a mommy," she explained to him. "Just like you're not a girl. You're a man and one day you'll be a daddy." Killian frowned but nodded.
"Okay... he's my daddy then," he mumbled.
"That's right," she told him and sat him down to make him walk by her, dragging him with her. "Let's go get you a big room." Killian giggled and skipped after her.
"Okay Grammy," he said happily and held onto her hand tightly, going with her. I found Aurelio by me on his phone then, messaging someone. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow before he smirked and sent something and looked at me.
"I invited someone over," he told me. I raised an eyebrow.
"Who?" I asked.
"Dmitri and Toma for a playdate," he said and smirked. I heard Killian shriek and then giggle as something blue latched onto his legs from the bushes- Ross. The dragon looked amused as he climbed up onto Killian's shoulder and changed his size to be able to match Killian so he could hold him easier.
"When will they be here?" I asked.
"Actually they should be here tomorrow by the time we're having the ball, unless Mauri takes them here then they'll be here in a few minutes."
"Does Dmitri know about Ross?" I whispered.
"Of course not, it's a surprise playdate." Ross playfully nipped at Killian, seeming to take an instant liking to the kid as Killian giggled and then pulled Ross into his arms, rubbing his head.
"Dragon~" He said in excitement. "Grammy! Look! It's a dragon!"
"Yeah, his name is Ross. Ross this is my little grandson, Killian." Sera said to Ross.
"Grandson?" Ross asked her and then looked at Killian in amusement. "I'll spoil him then~"
"Oh yes, treat him like family~" Sera told him. "He's going to be raised here."
"I'll teach him dragon!" Ross looked excited and curled up on Killian's shoulder around his neck. "You're going to be able to speak dragon~! My sweet little gem." I looked Ross over and then smirked. He's going to have a surprise tomorrow night.
