Continuation of Laurence's POV:
"What are you doing awake?" I heard Calix purr from the doorway, stepping over the door lightly. He was barefoot this time, not wearing his stilettos as he stood there in simple skinny jeans and no t-shirt, probably having spent the night with Emile. I looked up at him and held my ground, not wanting to shrink away and show fear. I won't let him know my fear.
"I thought a bug bit me," I told him calmly. I tried to calm down my heart as I clung to the wall and stood up. He walked up to me and examined me before he picked me up and carried me into the closet, shutting the door with his foot as he sat me down in the darkness.
"You're going to get burned," he warned me and then looked towards my clothes in interest, starting to go through them. I watched him before curling up in a corner.
"I was quite safe," I muttered. "I managed to get out of the light's reach."
"Well, it's dark in here," he told me firmly and then raised an eyebrow as he found something nice. He pulled it off the rack and looked it over before he looked at me. "When you die, wear this," he purred at me and grinned.
"I'm not going to die," I hissed at him and stood up before punching him in the face for the suggestion. He yelped and then touched his nose before he looked at me and growled, his eyes turning red with anger. He pinned me against the wall quickly, hissing as his teeth sharpened into a monstrous form and he snarled at me, slipping his knee between my legs to hold me down.
"Don't you ever! Punch me again!" He hissed at me, the shadows on the walls starting to crawl. I exposed my fangs at him and growled.
"Don't go throwing my death day around like it'll happen!" I hissed back.
"Everyone dies sometime Laurence," he told me and started to dig his nails into my wrist. "Your time will come for you eventually, and I'll make sure that it's the most painful experience of your life right under me devouring your soul bit by bit." He shoved me against the wall before he let me go and started to stalk towards the door. I growled at him and grabbed one of my shoes, throwing it at him.
"Not everyone dies," I hissed back. "Some of us has gained immortality and I plan to keep it!" He looked at the shoe then started to grin, laughing as he looked over his shoulder at me.
"Is that so? Your death definitely will be painful Laurence. The only way you can die is the sun or murder," he purred at me in amusement. "I'll be waiting for it."
"Well I'm going to always stay a step ahead," I told him in determination. "Go ahead and run back to Emile because he's all you've got." He raised an eyebrow and then turned to me again, starting for me.
"All I got?" He asked me and then grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards him. I glared him down as I got close to him.
"Yes," I hissed. "He's all you've got." He laughed a bit and then tilted his head.
"He's not all I've got," he told me and smirked. "I can have any soul I desire with the right influence," he purred in my ear. "I got yours, didn't I? You signed it away to me." He growled in my ear then and then moved back. "You're lucky Emile signed himself over to me," he told me and then let my wrist go. He gave me a wicked grin before he went to the door and opened it. "Toru is whining in the bed~ Maybe you should go back and join him, hmm? Or are you scared the nightmares will get you again?" I glared him down as I had a slight suspicion then he gave the nightmare to me somehow. What a bastard.
"I'm not the Laurence that begged for you to free me anymore," I told him sternly. "I don't need you as my hero anymore. I don't need a hero. If you dare give me one of those sick nightmares again, I'll let Emile know and that's where I'll leave it because I know he's got you by the balls Calix." I stalked up t his side and pinned him against the door. "Maybe you should go back to Emile before he gets suspicious of you." I hit my index finger against his chest before edging away from him and went for one of the blankets stored in my closet and grabbed a few nails as well as a hammer before shoving it at him. "While you're on your way out, pin this to the door frame, will you? You don't want me to fry and my soul be over cooked... Do you?" I shoved him out and into the room to face the light for me. He looked over his shoulder at me and narrowed his eyes a bit, looking pissed.
"I'm not the one who gave you the nightmare.... I just know you had it because you're one of my souls under contract," he hissed at me. "You had it because you have a contract with me, that's all." He looked at the sheet then walked over to the door, starting to hang it up for me.
"Well stay out of my dreams," I grumbled as I watched him. "It's none of your business." He looked towards me and gave me a smile.
"I can't help who you dream about... unless...." He smirked then, giving me a devilish look. "I could retrieve something from Hell for you that would erase all your dreams. You wouldn't have another dream again while you sleep."
"I don't want that," I told him. "If I had to sleep without dreaming.... It would be a very boring day." He laughed a little and looked me over before he finished, hammering the last nail into the wall. I heard Toru whine a bit, stirring in the bed from all the noise. I looked towards Toru before rubbing my heavy eyes. Calix looked towards Toru and started sneaking up to him, narrowing his eyes as he neared the bed. He went to grab one of Toru's ears then, being careful not to wake him as he moved slowly. I growled and went for Calix.
"Don't touch him!" I hissed. He narrowed his eyes at me and then snatched Toru's ear, making him yelp and snap his eyes open. His body started to tremble, and I could feel his terror growing as he slowly looked towards Calix who smirked and yanked him out of the bed. "Calix," I growled and jumped him, yanking his hand away from Toru. Calix snarled at me and quickly pushed me down before he was tackled by Toru who bit his shoulder deeply, wrapping his arms around Calix to hold him down. Calix groaned and looked at Toru who laid his ears back and bit down harder, starting to tear at him as Calix tried to get away. Emile walked in then and frowned.
"Calix," Emile hissed. "What're you doing with them in the middle of the day? Stop playing around. You know they sleep during this hour."
"Toru," I whined. "Let him go." Toru let go quickly, pulling away obediently. He sat down on the edge of the bed and eyed down Calix who looked towards Emile with wide eyes.
"Emile," he whispered and I saw a loving look take over him. He purred and crossed the room quickly, wrapping Emile up in his arms as he seemed to forget about us easily. He kissed his cheek then started to kiss his neck softly. Emile yanked back and looked at the doorway.
"What happened to your door Laurence?" He asked me, ignoring Calix.
"Not sure," I said sweetly. "I think Calix broke it off its hinges."
"Calix," Emile scolded. "You're going to fix his door." Calix widened his eyes.
"I didn't do that!" He said defensively and frowned. "Emile! I didn't bust his door down. I swear I didn't. He did that all on his own!"
"Why would he do that in the middle of the day?" Emile asked. "He was probably dead asleep. You're going to fix his door by tonight for him." Calix growled then, looking irritated.
"I didn't do it Emile," he muttered. "I can't believe you don't believe me.... After everything we did together," he hissed, backing away from him. "He busted his own door down from a nightmare."
"From a nightmare? Did you give him the nightmare?" Emile asked and crossed his arms.
"N-no," Calix said, biting his lower lip worriedly. "I didn't... directly give him the nightmare.... It's a... side effect of his soul having belonged to me," he told him. "Not purposely... but in a way...."
"Well I still want you to fix his door," Emile told him firmly. "If you purposely done it or not. I don't care, you're fixing the door. We wouldn't want the sun to touch his beautiful skin, now would we?" Calix frowned and looked towards the sheet in defeat.
"F-fine... I'll fix his stupid door."
"Okay, I'm going on my way then." Emile walked out of the room and I could hear him going down the hall. I walked over to the bed and laid back down in it. Calix frowned and stalked towards the door.
"DON'T LEAVE ME LIKE THAT!" He growled, going after Emile quickly.
"FIX HIS DOOR CALIX!" Emile yelled.
"WHY CAN'T I JUST DO IT TONIGHT?! YOU KNOW WHAT-" I heard him snap his fingers and the door was immediately fixed. I heard him running after Emile then. "GET BACK HERE!" I laughed softly and looked towards Toru, motioning for him to come back to my arms so I could get some rest. He looked towards me, shaken up, but he crawled over to me and then laid down against me, hiding his face in my chest as he got in my arms. He looked up towards me and kissed my cheek with a small purr. He quickly gave my lips a kiss then hid his face into my chest, laying his ears back as he got quiet. I closed my eyes, allowing myself to fall back to sleep instead of fighting it.
I heard screaming in the distance, the dark room burning up like there should be a fire. I heard a soft purr and then a whip lashing out with another shriek. "Heh, you sold your soul to a devil," I heard Calix purring and then another whip lash accompanied with a shriek. "It sounds so good~ Like a symphony written just for me~" I felt my heart start to race as I went to move but something was restraining me. My toes scrapped across the hot floor and I yelped, bringing my toes off of it. My wrists began to ache as something yanked, holding me up.... I was chained by my wrists. I let out a cry of pain as the cuffs cut into my wrists. I forced my toes back on the ground to try to ease the pain. I heard another scream then, bloodcurdling as the woman shrieked in pain.
"P-please," I heard her begging weakly. "Please, no more!"
"Oh, I love it when they beg~" Calix purred and I heard him bring the whip back down on her, a strangled cry escaping her. I looked around before trying to reach up to the chains and grab them. I will escape this.
"Oh you don't want to do that," I heard a familiar voice purr before Emile walked out with a sweet look, wearing a girly sort of kimono. "Prince Calix will get angry with you~"
"Prince?" I asked him in confusion as I kept trying for the chains anyways. Emile purred, his eyes lingering over me before he pulled out a lacy fan and walked up, fanning himself.
"Oh yes, don't you know? He's one of the devil's children, one of his outcasted kids~" He walked up and clicked his fan shut before he narrowed his eyes and pressed a button, sharp knives suddenly poking out of the top of the fan. He smacked my chest with it and chuckled. "I told you not to do that~ You'll upset him." I let out a hiss of pain and stopped, obeying Emile.
"Emile, get me out of here," I hissed.
"Why? This is paradise," he said sweetly, starting to fan himself again.
"My sweet love, are you playing with the lost souls?" I heard Calix purr, the sound of his voice nearing us.
"I'm not lost," I hissed towards Calix. "You'll let me go right now."
"Oh boy, someone is grouchy today," I heard him hum out as he appeared, walking towards us in his trademark stilettos. Emile looked towards him with a lovesick gaze, almost fainting at the sight of him in joy. Calix walked up to him and then pulled him into his arms, kissing him deeply before he looked towards me with a smirk. "You're not going anywhere Laurence. It's time for your turn. I hope you haven't been cold~"
"You dare touch me," I hissed. He smirked and then pulled a whip off the side of his belt and looked at Emile.
"Go wait for me in bed darling," he purred to him, kissing his neck. Emile shivered with delight and obeyed, quickly running off as Calix turned to me and started to unwind the whip, the barbed tail falling into the floor. I glared him down.
"Calix," I hissed at him. "Don't you dare touch me." He grinned at me.
"Don't touch you?" He asked me and then trailed the tip of the handle against my chest, going down with it slowly. "I'll touch you all I want. Your soul belongs to me."
"I don't recall dying and giving it to you," I hissed at him.
"Oh, you did die.... Don't you remember Toru's teeth ripping into your throat and your chest?" He asked me, laughing evilly.
"Why would Toru do such a thing?" I asked softly.
"He was tired of being looked down on by you... and he wanted to be favored by me," he purred in my ear. "Your little fox never belonged to you. He belonged to a rice god and could do as he pleased. He grew angry with you and ripped... your... throat out." He grabbed my throat suddenly and laughed. "Right here."
"I don't believe you," I hissed towards him and went to bite into his hand, managing it and started to sink my fangs into him. He smacked me hard and then ripped his hand back, hissing at me then whipped me hard with the barbed whip right across the chest, drawing blood. He snapped his fingers then and a mirror appeared in front of us.
"Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself Laurence!" He snarled at me, the mirror starting to glow. I suddenly could see Toru snuggled up to me on the mirror, gently kissing my chest in the bed. He flicked his ears and looked up towards me with a smile.
"Laurence, I love you~" He said sweetly and went for a kiss, but the me in the mirror stopped him, placing a finger against his lips.
"Toru, you don't know what you're talking about," he told him and then pushed him off. "Now stop kissing my chest. You know I don't like that." Toru frowned and sat up on the bed, looking upset.
"Laurence, you know that I love you! You can feel it! Why do you deny it?" He whimpered.
"Because I don't love you! There! Are you happy? I finally said it. Now leave me alone," I hissed at him. Toru widened his eyes and looked hurt, getting up and running away in shame. I could see Calix approaching him in the mirror, looking like he was comforting him as he whispered things into his ear. Toru's eyes started to darken in despair and he looked at Calix with a whimper.
"You know it's true," Calix whispered to him and stroked his cheek. "You can't win Laurence's affections. He could never love a fox. He was doomed to the darkness long ago. You should stop chasing me and defending him," he purred softly. Toru started to cry and hugged Calix who wrapped his arms around him, purring to him softly to comfort him. The mirror faded out and then I saw Toru chasing me down in the woods, snarling at me as he snapped at my ankles, trying to catch me. The mirror me shrieked and fell down, quickly scrambling onto his back as he looked towards Toru.
"T-Toru! Please don't do this!" He begged him, backing up on his hands as Toru started to corner him against a tree. Toru's ears flicked and his little fox form leapt at me, crashing into my chest and tearing into my throat in anger, ripping it out and then started to tear at my chest with a snarl as my body fell limp against the tree, crying out in pain and terror as the light began to fade away from my eyes with every bit of blood that poured from my body.
Calix snapped his fingers and the mirror disappeared as he gave a pleased look towards where it had been then looked towards me, grinning. "You shunned him," he purred at me. "You got what you deserved, and now you'll serve an eternity in hell as punishment."
"You tricked him into doing that though!" I hissed. "You put ideas in his head!" I struggled in the cuffs, trying for the chains. He growled and smacked me with the whip again, the barbed tail ripping a chunk out of my skin this time.
"I didn't put ideas in his head. I only gave him the gentle nudge he needed. He was thinking about being done with you before I even went to you. It was in the back of his mind," Calix told me, whipping me again. I held back a scream, struggling with the cuffs.
"You're a cheat!" I hissed at him.
"What's worse? A cheat or a person who can't even own up to his own emotions?" Calix asked me and then grabbed my chin, forcing me to look down at him as he squeezed my jaw. He narrowed his eyes as he searched mine and then shoved my face back, dropping the whip on the floor then walked over to a fireplace that had started to glow as he approached it. He grabbed a red hot poker out of the fire and looked it over before he started for me with it. I widened my eyes and tried for the chains as quickly as I could, managing to get them this time and yanked on them, crawling up them to get away from Calix. He growled and I felt the chains starting to burn my hands and wrists. He walked up to me and then pressed the red hot poker against my thigh, having to reach up for me as the metals burned into my body. I groaned out in pain and kicked him in the head, continuing up the chain and crying out in pain. He watched me and then pulled a knife from his pocket, yanking me back down the chain by my foot and started to cut at my stomach, making me bleed out. I groaned and kicked him between his legs where I knew it would count. He winced and then narrowed his eyes at me. I could suddenly feel chains weighing down my ankles, making it to where I couldn't move them anymore. He stabbed me with the knife and then reached up, breaking the chain that connected to the ceiling and then stomped down onto the chain in the floor, breaking my ankles as he snapped that chain too. He started to drag my body across the burning floor towards a door that appeared out of nowhere and stepped through it, taking me into what seemed like a whole other world- one of fire. I could see countless souls tormented as they cried out in pain, digging their nails into the dirt as they tried to find sweet relief in the hellish nightmare. I could see some burning alive, turning to ashes and cinders as demonic skellingtons were grabbing the survivors, the ones trying to claw their way from this world and away from the fires. They dragged them over to a chasm and threw them into it, the fire reaching up and licking at their bodies before engulfing them completely where I could hear the most pitiful screams coming from. A gryphon circled overhead, his keen eyes looking down on the devastation with a sadistic gleam before he would dive down and peak the eyes out of the ones who hadn't been grabbed yet, sometimes tearing into them and eating their flesh. I felt horror consuming me and reached out quickly for Calix, scared he might leave me here. He looked towards me and hissed, tossing me through the door into the dirt.
"Calix," I begged him. He watched me before he looked towards the ones who were dying then looked at me.
"Why should I?" He hissed at me, leaning against the doorway.
"Why shouldn't you?" I asked him.
"Because you're my soul to do as I please with," he purred in amusement. "You kicked me twice... and you tried to deny me your soul in your living years. You sinned so much~! You deserve this."
"I don't deserve this! You know I don't. Don't do this to me Calix. I'm a great gift to you, you've got someone who knows the future, past, and present, don't throw me away so quickly." He looked interested before he stepped out and then grabbed my chain, dragging me back into the room through the burning dirt. I could feel the poor pitiful souls trying to latch onto me, clawing at my ankles as they shrieked in fear. I kicked at them quickly in fear, not wanting them to take me with them. Calix yanked me through the door and it slammed shut. He purred and sat down on my stomach quickly, leaning in to my neck then bit into it.
"I'll devour you instead," he purred in my ear, letting out a soft moan as he got a taste of me. "I'll take your powers for my own~" I yanked my head away from him and shrunk, hiding my neck.
"Don't do that," I hissed. He narrowed his eyes at me.
"Do you want to die out there with the scum?" He hissed at me, snatching the chain on my wrists and gave a threatening tug to it. "It's either them or it's me," he told me firmly. "I got your soul to eat if I please."
"I don't want either," I cried out and shook my head. He growled and then grabbed my jaw, forcing me to tilt my head to the side before he bit into my neck again and started to eat me. I struggled against him, bringing my knee up against his manhood. He snarled into my ear then and let my jaw go.
"You better quit," he hissed at me then reached down, grabbing my manhood and gave it a squeeze. I gasped and struggled against his touch.
"Emile!" I yelled. He smirked at me and then let me go before he leaned in to my shoulder and made sure to move out of my kicking range before he bit back into me to pick up where he left off. I yanked away from him, trying to crawl away from him. He pinned me down and I felt the chains suddenly connect to the floor, holding me down as he began to eat me, piece by piece....
I yanked back as I felt a sharp pain against my skin, I opened my eyes and frowned as I stood with the front door wide open and the sunset's glaze was touching my skin. I held back a cry of pain and quickly shut the door, feeling my heart racing. Did I sleep walk here? I locked the door and spun around, rubbing my head. I don't remember ever getting out of bed. I sunk against the door and rubbed my racing heart that pounded against my chest. I heard soft footsteps coming towards me and Toru walked up with a sleepy look, rubbing at his eyes. "There you are," he mumbled softly, looking at me. "I woke up and you weren't in bed anymore," he whined a little.
"Stay back!" I hissed at him. I wasn't sure if I saw the future or just a nightmare... If it was the future then I want him far away from me. Toru widened his eyes and stopped walking towards me, standing there as he watched me with worry.
"L-Laurence," he whispered and then laid his ears back, looking hurt. "What's the matter?" I rubbed at my neck and lowered my head, looking down at my lap.
"You killed me," I whispered.
"No I didn't," he told me quickly. "I would never kill you!"
"But you did! I saw it!" I told him and felt my body shake slightly. He got quiet then as I felt him watching me before he started to retreat quickly, running away from me. I pulled my knees closer to my body, waiting for the sun to vanish from the sky completely. After a few minutes, I heard Toru walking back to me. He gently sat down a bottle of blood in front of me before he edged around me and managed to sneak out the door without the sun hitting my body. I looked after him before looking down at the bottle of blood and trembled. I pushed the blood away from me and stood up, going straight for one of the supply closets and slipped inside to the safety of the dark.
The sun went down after a few hours, and I could hear the rest of the manor beginning to come alive, voices sounding in the kitchen and in the nightroom. I could hear people waking up one floor above me, barely able to make out the sounds of their feet with my vampire hearing- almost impossible. Toru hadn't come back since he left the manor hours ago, and I hadn't been found yet. I could hear Calix talking to Emile as they walked down the hall together nearby. I slipped out of the closet slowly and looked at them before hissing under my breath.
"I want you both to leave," I told them. Emile frowned as he looked me over.
"Laurence you look sleep deprived," Emile told me. Calix looked over his shoulder and frowned.
"That's not healthy at all," he mumbled. "It's the nightmares, Emile," he told him and looked me over. "I could try to get rid of them for you if you want. That's all they are- nightmares. As a demon, I could rid you of them... maybe without even taking all your dreams away."
"They're not nightmares! They're warnings of the future now get the hell out of this manor." I hissed at them. Calix laughed a little.
"It's not warnings of the future. It's because I'm hunting your soul that you're getting these dreams Laurence! It's your soul crying out in fear because you signed that contract," he told me firmly. "You can only get rid of them with my help or with a god's help."
"It's not a nightmare," I mumbled and shook my head. I stepped back from them then. "I can't even trust you Calix."
"Look, Emile would be having them too, but I already fixed it as soon as he signed his contract because I have other plans for Emile," Calix told me and walked up, grabbing my wrist. "I'll fix it for you. Now calm down," he told me and then turned my wrist up so he could see my veins. He traced his fingers over them and then mumbled a small incantation under his breath, the veins starting to glow a light purple. He rubbed my wrist and then let it go. "There, I calmed your soul. It shouldn't give you more nightmares."
"How do I know you're being honest about this?" I asked him and yanked my wrist to my chest. He raised an eyebrow.
"Want some proof? I think I still have a few souls lying around that I haven't eaten yet and I soothed their souls when they died so they wouldn't be trembling too much in hell waiting for me to eat them," he told me and then waved his hand. A little ghostly girl appeared by his side then, looking up towards Calix then widened her eyes.
"I don't want to be eaten yet," she whispered and backed away from him.
"I'm not eating you just yet," he purred to her. "Tell young Laurence about your nightmares when you were alive." She bit her bottom lip and I saw slight fear taking over her eyes. She looked towards me then and I could see the story in them. She had nightmares like me too with Calix chasing after her and threatening to eat her in her dreams. I backed away from her quickly and looked away, avoiding eye contact with her. I don't want to see that, I don't want to know.
"You get these dreams," she whispered to me. "These awful dreams... but when I died, Calix stopped them for me and takes care of me in Hell with the others," she told me quietly. "The ones he hates he lets them keep the nightmares, and they shriek horribly when they sleep, constantly sleepwalking and almost walking into the hellfire outside. We have to tie them down every time they sleep so they don't burn to death...." I shivered and looked towards Calix before I turned almost as quickly as I saw him coming and welcomed Charles into a hug. He purred into my neck and kissed my cheek.
"Laurence~" Charles said before tensing up and looking at the other three. "Did I interrupt something? Lyle wants to talk with you." I nodded slowly at him and clung to his body.
"Run along sweetie," I heard Calix purr to the girl, her ghostly form disappearing before he walked up to Emile and gently kissed him. "Let's go watch some movies," he purred into his ear, starting to lead him towards the night room.
"Wouldn't it be funny if I made one of them a girl?" Charles asked though it was more to himself as he watched them walking away. I frowned. He better not- Suddenly Emile's body started to change a little- switching gender quickly from Charles's powers.
"Charles," I warned. That's not good... at all. I heard Emile shriek as he noticed the changing.
"MY DICK!" He screamed- or rather she. Calix paused and looked towards Emile.
"What do you-" He cut off as he stared down Emile, seeing the changes immediately. His face started to redden and he blushed, one of the only times I've ever seen him do it. He put a hand over his mouth and looked Emile's body over. Emile clung to his downstairs area before grabbing at his chest that started to poke out.
"CHARLES!" Emile yelled and turned quickly. "Change me back!"
"Sorry," Charles said innocently. "I don't know how." Calix got closer to Emile then pulling her back against his chest and purred comfortingly in her ear. He kissed her cheek and looked her over curiously before he purred and kissed her neck and nipped at her ear playfully. Emile yelped and struggled against Calix.
"Oh no you don't!" Emile yelled and looked furious.
"So Lyle wanted to see you Laurence," Charles told me. I saw Calix nip again at her ear, purring to her as he caressed her sides and then touched her breasts in curiosity. Emile slapped Calix straight across the face then. She yanked away and stormed towards us in anger.
"Change me back, swine!" Emile yelled at Charles.
"I told you I don't know how," Charles laughed out and hid behind me.
"YES YOU DO! LIAR!" Emile yelled.
"What's so bad about it?" Calix purred, rubbing his cheek as he looked Emile over. "You're still you... you just don't have a dick anymore."
"Exactly! I'm going to end up with one of those periods if I don't get it back!" Emile yelled in outrage.
"I can fix that," Calix purred, smirking at her.
"No you can't you foul demon. I know what that meant and no!" Emile hissed.
"Why not?" Calix asked and started to walk towards Emile. "If you're so afraid of the period... I could teach you a way not to have them~"
"No, absolutely not! You stay back!" Emile raced for me then and Charles giggled, yanking me down the hall and into a run of our own. I heard Calix slam Emile's body up against the wall, catching her before she could take off like us. Charles stopped running, turning to catch the scene and watch it happen- play out. I frowned as I was forced to stay with him. "No no no no no," Emile said towards Calix. Calix purred and leaned in, kissing her passionately then started to kiss her neck, running his hand down to her thigh and pulling it up to his waist.
"What a bummer it would be if I turned Emile back into a man," Charles whispered to me.
"You better do it before little ones are running around here whenever they're done," I hissed back. Calix stroked her thigh gently and started to kiss her collarbone, giving her a love bite as he reached for her other thigh, using his weight to hold her up.
"Where's Toru?" Charles asked me softly.
"Don't know," I whispered to him. "He left during the day...." I nudged Charles to do it now. Charles chuckled as Emile's features changed back to that of a mans. Calix paused as he noticed the changes then smirked, getting more passionate with Emile as he leaned in and kissed his lips deeply. I felt Charles yank me off then and down the hall.
"So where was I?" Charles asked. "Oh right! Lyle requested your presence." He yanked me into a study- one meant for Rei but it was being used by Lyle at the moment.
"Laurence~ Charles~" Lyle said as he sat on the desk and went through a handful of papers. "I got word from the servants we can return to the Rosario manor. It's been rebuilt thanks to the help of Amelia. Charles I want you to see to it that you and Mauri get everyone back there safely... Laurence you have something else to go over-" He looked up at me and frowned. "You need to drink some blood and stop staying up late." I blushed and nodded. "You don't want me to send you to Rei and Silas, do you? They're not doing anything important anyways but their honeymoon."
"No, I can do that."
"There's something else. Colsin told me early this morning that Sylar still hasn't come back. He's not even bothered to talk to him. Do you know where my brother is?" Lyle asked. I noticed Colsin was in the room with Milo. Milo watched us, rubbing Colsin's shoulders as they both looked worried, Colsin worse off.
"Please, if you know," Colsin begged me. "I want to know where my mate is." I frowned, not having thought about it in all honesty. I knew he had left.... but I figured he would have returned by now. There's no way he was that angry at Silas. I pursed my lips as I tried to figure out where that little runt of the family was up to.
