"They are the king's guards! How do you know the king's guards?! And why were you giving them food?"
We were now heading to Lavira's room, after giving Baihu my gifts of appreciation and gratitude. They of course all thanked me with their honorific for me, 'boss and big boss'. Loc was shocked the whole time as he had just witnessed the king's guards addressed me in such a way.
"Well... they helped me with something and I wanted to show them my gratitude."
"Sir, you could've asked us, your Knight's Order! We can handle anything!" Loc was being prideful as he is now a high ranking officer within the order. The only thing is; Loc, Marlos and Grayson are about the same level as Gunther, whilst the rest of the Knight's Order were below level 15... Ha!... maybe I did made a mistake, maybe I should've brought them instead, to level them up... maybe in the next trial, I will...
It was then, Loc leaned closer to me and whispered, "the king's guards works for the king, they are his loyal lap dogs... do you think you could trust them?"
Oh, so my companies aren't aware of each other? Wait... now that I've thought about it... it's like I'm the hub that connects all of them but unless I tell each of my companies about the others, they wouldn't even know they exist.
The way Loc was mystified that I went to the king's guards, now known as Baihu under me, would surely be even more mystified when I tell him that they are on our side and are now under my command.
I guess it's high time, Baihu and the Knight's Order gets acquainted with one another... and maybe somehow also work the shadow legion in as well?... I could already hear the overlapping of voices in my head already...
I guess when the time comes, I'll step it up as a teacher and become a leader.
"Loc, I want you to repeat after me, 'connect to Baihu.'"
Loc stopped walking and stared at me. We were outside of Lavira's room and I confirmed it when I looked on the map.
"Baihu?"
Loc gave me a confused look but did as he was told.
"Connect to Baihu." Loc was hesitant as he said it, not knowing why his master who ask him to contact a person using their communication system. Just who is this 'Baihu', Loc wondered.
As soon as Loc said those words, voices started to appear in his head.
"Wow! Big boss's cooking is amazing!" Voiced Gunther.
"Bron! You stole all the buns!" Shouted Jask.
"I did not! You took my dumplings!" Rebutted Bron.
"Harlo, try some of these. Say ah~," said Jemina.
"Ahh~," replied Harlo.
*Slurp* was all the sound Tavish made.
I knocked on Lavira's bedroom door as I listened to Baihu's chatter. Loc was beside me, slack jawed.
"Coming!" Shouted Lavira from inside her room.
"Loc, 'disconnect link'."
"Disconnect link." Repeated Loc sheepishly. "Sir... so the king's... I mean Baihu is now with us? The guards that's protecting the king?!"
Loc was staring at me like a kid that had been told a secret but felt guilty in knowing it and the guilt was now gnawing him on the inside. I confirmed Loc question with a 'yes', just right before Lavira opened the door.
Her face peered out from the crack of her door and her eyes peered at me with shock.
"Hey! I made food and was wondering if you would like some. It's my way of saying thank you for what you did. I've already given my thanks to the others."
I held out a bag with some containers inside, out for her to see. She opened the door with a smile. I handed her the bag with 'the precious cargo' inside.
"Thank you. Sorry for the warily greeting, precaution is number one when living alone. My husband is currently out on duty."
"I see..." I didn't know how to respond but with a generic reply. Interestingly, Loc stepped in.
"Head librarian, if I may, would you like one of our guards to stand post here? I know in the regular guards, wolf man lurks. It's not safe. We the Knight's Order would like to give our support."
"Knight's Order?"
"Yes, my other company, lead by prince Marlos himself."
Lavira's eyebrows shot right up in complete surprise.
"The... prince?" Lavira stuttered her words as if she couldn't believe what's she was saying herself.
"Yes."
"His on our side?"
"Yes."
Lavira looked at me for a while before shifting her gaze towards Loc. She gave him a warm smile.
"Thank you."
Loc nodded his head towards Lavira in acknowledgment.
"Loc, once we get someone to stand guard outside Lavira's room, we'll head to the bathroom for a quick visit before returning back to my room."
"Understood."
After a few minutes, a guard arrived and saluted me. I nodded to him and that gave him the go ahead to report to Loc.
Loc briefed the guard on his duty and the guard nodded his head before positioning himself outside Lavira's room. Loc gave me a thumbs up.
"Enjoy your meal, Lavira. See you in the morning."
"I will. See you in the morning."
I watched Lavira, closed her door before addressing the guard.
"What's your name guard?"
"Will, sir."
"Alright, Will. We're leaving. Keep her safe, okay? Stay vigilant."
"Yes sir!"
"Good night Will."
"Night sir!"
I gave him a warm smile before gesturing Loc to escort me to the toilet. Once we got to the toilet, I told Loc that I might be in there for a while to which he replied, "upset stomach?"
Grrrr
My stomach rumbled as I felt pressure down in my lower half.
"Upset stomach," Loc nodded. "Take your time sir."
I went into the toilet and squatted down. Back in my world, I would normally read something when I did the number 2 and that's exactly what I did...
I put up Amilie's profile to read as I felt my bowels released it's contents.

Amilie Mosusa grew up with a voice that when she sung, she sounded like an angel. She would often sing to her neighbor's son, who would listen with enwrapped attention.
As Amilie grew up, her voice was slowly beginning to be heard by everyone within the Vatican domain. Everyone within the city, praised her on her vocal talent and with time, the high church of Vatican domain had also taken noticed of her.
Shortly after, the church's high priest visited Amilie's home and asked her if she wanted to join the church. Amilie couldn't understand why the church wanted her but to deny the church was to deny her homeland's values. Religion was number one within the Vatican domain and controls the whole city with it's beliefs. Amilie knew the risk if she were to deny them but she didn't want to join them. She loved her life the way it is and wouldn't give it up for anything... that was until she looked into the priest's eyes and something within her clicked.
A burning sensation flare-up within her and not a moment later, she saw herself singing to the whole of the Vatican domain. A sea of men with helmets that had crosses marked onto them looked up at her, watching her sing. They held their swords high up into the sky as she sang to them. A loud roars of a chant echoed as she sung.
"Sing us home!"
Amilie felt her heart burn as she watched the scene unfold before her. She sung to an army of crusaders as they listened to her before they went to war. As the burning subsided and she returned to reality, the priest asked her once again if she wanted to join them. She shook her head to the priest, in which he replied, "I'm sorry... that's a shame... the church must ask for forgiveness for what we are about to do."
Amilie felt herself sag to the ground as her vision blurred.
"What's happening to me!"
"Amilie!" A shout called her as she felt herself drift away.
Before she had fully drifted, she swore she heard the priest said, "And him too."
"And him too," was all that played within her thoughts as she felt a coldness pulled her in further.
"Sebastian!" She woke up in cold sweats as she called out the name of the boy she loves. It was fate from birth and they had been together since birth. Sebastian listened to her even in her most darkest moments.
He's her best most treasured friend, but in truth she felt more, every time she had sung to him, their soul was one. Tears fell from her eyes as they wandered around. She was not in her home but in a room she did not recognize. Her heart raced as her head pounded.
"Sebastian?!" She called out, hoping he was here with her.
A creak from the door surprised her.
"Sebastian? Is that you?"
A lady walked in and greeted Amilie in a monotone voice.
"Where is Sebastian?"
"Sebastian? Never heard of the name. I'm sorry."
Amilie's heart sank, tears flowed from her eyes.
"Where am I?" Amilie stuttered.
The room that she's in was dark so she couldn't see her clearly, but when she got closer, her clothing became more apparent... she's a priestess.
"Well, you're currently in a room, on the north wing of the Vatican church."
"Why am I here?"
"You have been selected by our god."
"Why was I selected?"
"God has witnessed your talent."
"..."
Amilie sat there in silence before she asked a question, she knew the answer to...
"Will I be able to go back home?"
"My child, we're in the house of god. This is your home."
Amilie was silent, she couldn't speak. All she wanted right now was for the priestess to leave and she did after she checked up on her.
In a darkened room, Amilie sat on a bed and cried. She thought about her family and Sebastian. She thought about them and in a moment of vulnerability, she sang her heart out. Singing was her only coping mechanism, so she sang until she couldn't sing no more.

I got up from my squatting position, wiped my butt, washed my hands and strolled out of the toilet and Loc escorted me back to my room. Once I plopped into my bed, I lifted my finger to press continue.

Part 2: Songstress and her crusader
Amilie lived her life in the church and sang for the church. She couldn't sing for herself anymore, she wasn't allowed to.
As time went on, the world had plunged itself into war. The church had amassed a large army of crusaders to participate in this holy war. Before they could leave however, the church had Amilie to sing for them. It was at this moment, when she stood in front of the crusaders that she remembered the vision she had.
She sang her heart out to the warriors that was about to depart for war. The crusaders all chanted as she sang.
"Sing us home!"
And not before long, it was time for the crusaders to march out of Vatican domain. As the crusaders moved, Amilie watched from afar, wishing them a safe journey.
As Amilie watched the crusaders exited out of Vatican domain, she noticed a particular crusader who had her eyes. She didn't know why but something about that crusader, pulled on her heartstring.
And at that moment, as the crusader marched out of Vatican domain, Amilie knew who the crusader was. Why her heart pounded vigorously and her word shaken as she watched him leave. It was Sebastian.
Amilie immediately ran towards the gates but before she could get close enough to the marching crusaders, she was stopped by the church.
They asked her why she had burst out like that, but she wouldn't answer. All she did was watched the man she still in love with, walked out the door and into a holy war.
Months had passed since the crusaders marched out of the Vatican domain and into a holy war. Amilie sang for the church but thought of Sebastian. She wanted to sing for him one last time but she couldn't, all she could do was let the memories of her singing to the boy next door, flood into her.
It was at this moment she decided to do the one thing she had wanted to do on the very moment she had woken up in a room at the church and cried. She would escape the church. She would walk out of Vatican domain and find Sebastian.
Amilie escaped the church and walked out of Vatican domain, in search for the crusaders. She went from village to village helping people when ever she could and would often sing for them as the war raged on in their homeland. As she helped and boost morale with the villagers, her reputation grew and soon the whole of the Vatican republic.
Her singing helped mend hearts and broken souls. A land sullied by war and grief was blessed by an angel that gave hope with the sounds of her voice and the melodies that soothe their hearts and minds. Amilie, piece by piece, mended her homeland back together with only her voice... that was until she found herself at the footstep of a raging on war.
Amilie didn't want to bear to witness any more destruction and killings, so she let the one thing she possessions within her to stop this war. Her voice.
On a battlefield where both sides clashed, a lone female stood on the sidelines and sang, in hopes that her voice would reach them and stop this war.
Over her journey, her voice did wonderous things in healing and mending broken down villagers hearts and minds but on a battlefield where the only other noises were of moans of pain and clashes of swords, her voice couldn't be heard. Her voice couldn't reach anyone but the one person she had longed for and knew it would reach. Sebastian.
Sebastian from where he clashed swords with his enemies, heard Amilie's voice had stopped his attack. His enemy was puzzled of why he had stopped but decided to keep on swinging his sword. Sebastian braced himself for the blows of his enemy but he didn't feel any pain, all he felt was warmth, warmth from her voice.
Over time, the whole battlefield had finally ceased and everyone stood where they were and listened to her voice. Sebastian left from where he stood and walked to the girl he had once listened with enwrapped attention to back when they were young. Amilie was his light and on this darkened battlefield, her light shorn as bright for him to follow.
Amilie and Sebastian reunited again on a battlefield that had tore their homeland apart and mended by her voice. Sebastian removed his helmet and stared into Amilie's eyes and said, "Thank you for singing us home."
It was then the two kissed as both sides watched. An angel and her knight reunited under the veil of war.
Amilie and Sebastian embraced each other as black electrified cloud surrounded them and the whole of the battlefield. A voice called out to them, called out to Amilie.
