[Wednesday. 1500 Hours. School Library.]
"Lizeth, do you know where is Lynn?" Clara asked her. Lizeth was cleaning the library as usual. After that incident, the library had become very quiet since that accident.
Lizeth was reading the report that Kilo sent to her on her phone. It was about the injury that Lynn had at that accident.
[Injury Report From Kilo: Lima's Case]
For: Lynx
Lima sustained a major injury on her head, her hand, and her leg. Her leg was amputated and the rebar that was attached to her head was removed during the surgery. It was a miracle that she stayed alive.
Suspected Cause Of Injury: Fragments of Brick and Walls, 30x165mm autocannon fragments.
[End of Kilo's Report]
Lizeth immediately called Aline. She called her since she was worried that she would do something stupid to her.
Aline: "Yes?"
Lizeth: "If you do the same thing to her, I will kill you!"
Aline: "Ok. I won't do it though. Lynn's identity isn't compromised, unlike you."
Lizeth hung up on the phone and she put her phone back to her coat pocket. Lizeth's next job was the grand final of her misery as a woman. She had to capture a nuke suitcase that was in the hand of a terrorist.
Bella, the newspaper club leader whose leg was stabbed by Lynn, came to the library. She was in a hurry with a camera on her hands.
"What?" Clara asked Bella who was running.
"See this!" Bella gave the camera to Clara. Clara saw the picture while Lizeth was confused as Bella's sudden entrance to the library was unexplainable.
Lizeth stopped Bella before she made a mess in that library since she was too panicked. "What's going on? Chill out," Lizeth slapped Clara out of her panic.
Lizeth managed to calm her down, but Clara approached her with a particular picture on the camera. It was a picture of Iris tied to a chair in a dark warehouse.
She was kidnapped by an unknown person, but from the way that she was kidnapped, she might be captured by a professional force. It couldn't be FSB or CIA since Iris had no business with both of them.
Considering that the newspaper club was hunting them down for the accident in which Lizeth fought with Lynn involved the usage of firearms, they could be pulling evidence that the library club shot their clubroom.
"Are you trying to pull a prank on us?" Lizeth asked as she threatened Bella with her fist.
Bella recoiled from Lizeth's wrath. Lizeth wouldn't give up just from that innocent face of hers. A bully could have many different expression and fake fear was one of them. Lizeth needed to apply excessive pressure to Bella.
"Look," she extended her baton and put it at Bella's neck, "I can break your neck in half and no one will tell the tale. You'd better be honest this time," Lizeth said to her.
Clara intervened, "Nope. She's not lying," Clara showed her another picture in which Iris was being pulled to a warehouse located somewhere in an unknown place.
"Where the heck did you get this picture?" Lizeth asked.
Bella refused to answer. Either she didn't want to tell her or she really didn't know. Well, there wasn't any point to keep her there. She let her leave the library.
Clara inspected that camera and she looked at multiple pictures that the camera took. Lizeth didn't care. She cared more about the grand finale of her mission. Finding the nuke and return it to the Russian's hand.
"Clara. I have to leave first, see you soon," Lizeth left the library.
.......
[Wednesday. 1645 Hours. A parking lot in the capital]
One by one, bullets were put inside the magazine. She did that as she waited for Clara in that parking lot. She loaded a new type of 7.62x51mm ammunition at that magazine. It was the High-Explosive ammunition. Its performance was similar to an ordinary AP rounds, but with an added explosion. The tip of that ammunition was colored purple.
She finished loading the ammunition to the magazine and put the magazine in her magazine pocket. She opened her phone and opened the contract that was available after she got the Intel from Kilo.
[Picking Up The Trail]
We've retrieved the Intel from your source. I've to thank her for that. Ok. Your nuke came with a tracker. Sadly, the tracker was included in the weapon container that was stolen from us. Get the tracker back from that weapon container.
Reward:
[7,000,000$ to all contractors as the payment for previous collateral damage]
[FSB Rep ++++++]
'Welp, mother Russia is being generous to us right now. I guess this is the payment for yesterday's accident. I guess a detonation of Russian nuke will cost them billions of dollars,' Lizeth thought as the Russian probably had spent 140,000,000$ just for renting them alone. Well, Russia was a world superpower after all.
Clara finally arrived at that parking lot with a pickup truck. She was carrying her M4 on her back with a ballistic helmet on her head. She got out of her car and Lizeth greeted her.
"Nice choice of car Serval," Lizeth complimented her.
"Whatever. What's the job now?" Clara asked.
"Our job is to retrieve a tracker of a delivery man that is rented by the IS to make sure that the nuke is untraceable," Lizeth said to Clara and she nodded as she was understanding Lizeth's order.
The tracker was located in an unknown place located 40 kilometers away from the capital. The tracker was a device that could be used to track the nuke with just a simple click of a button. They must retrieve that device so Lizeth could return the nuke to Russia.
Lizeth entered Clara's car and told her to drive to that location. They drove through the busy street of the capital and entered the highway since the location was very far.
The location was an empty lot located in the middle of nowhere. To make matter worse, that empty lot was surrounded by multiple trees that resembled a forest. It was a perfect position for an ambush.
"I feel like we're walking into an ambush," Lizeth said as she loaded her under-barrel grenade launcher.
"No shit Sherlock," Clara said and she fired her grenade launcher at the surrounding trees as an act of caution. The grenade immediately exploded and threw fragments everywhere.
Lizeth followed immediately by shooting her grenade launcher at the trees surrounding that empty lot. They kept shooting until all of their grenades were depleted.
"Hold!" Lizeth shouted as they stopped firing their grenade launcher. The area full of smoke and Lizeth walked to that empty lot.
She went searching for that tracker. It might be hidden between the trees or bushes. Let's just hope that Clara didn't accidentally destroy it by using the barrage of grenades.
Lizeth looked around. She found a military case on that empty lot. She opened that case and looked at it. There were two slots on that container. One was a big slot while the other was a smaller slot with a small remote on it.
Lizeth fiddled around with it and it was the tracker for that nuke. It showed her the general direction of that nuke with the distance from her detailed in meters. The general direction of that nuke was pointing to the capital with a distance of 60 kilometers.
It was very useful. Clara approached her and looked at that device curiously. Lizeth made sure that it wasn't the detonator. It wasn't. But she didn't want Clara to tinker with it or it would be broken by her.
"That's the tracker?" Clara asked Lizeth.
"Yup, this is the thing. Finally," Lizeth said as she put the tracker in her magazine pocket and she walked away from that empty lot.
"What are we going to do now?" Clara asked Lizeth as both of them entered Clara's car.
The car drove away from the lot and Lizeth was salivating when she saw that tracker. It looked as if she was finding a very important thing. Clara had a vague idea about it.
"Now. I will give the confirmation of the detonator to Marinka. Thanks for the help Clara," Lizeth said as she photographed the tracker to Marinka and Marinka confirmed it as the detonator.
[7.000.000$ Has been transferred to your account]
Clara accidentally smiled as the money was transferred to their account. It was a very large amount of money after all. Clara was very happy for that large amount of money. She looked at Lizeth, "So finding a remote worth more than yesterday's job?"
"It's the payment for yesterday's job," Lizeth said to Clara, "Lima lost her arm, leg, and eye after all."
"I feel bad for her," Clara drove away from that position as she smiled because of that money. Lizeth was also very happy since she could pay the bounty soon. She only needed to return the nuke back and all of her businesses would be done.
