"I can't believe Zach imprinted on her." Chynna told to Aria using their new telepathic skill. Their group are on their way back to their village and they had transformed back to human form. Zach and Chloe are at the front of the pack while Chynna urged Aria for them to stay as far back as possible. And now she knew why her friend wanted them to stay at the back. What she said could cause them trouble with their new Alpha. It's a good thing that their telepathic ability is not limited with their wolf form.
Earlier when Chloe showed up at the meeting place, something unexpected happened. Zach stood up from his rock looking dazed, and so does Chloe. Then soon, the two of them muttered the word mate and they run like crazy towards each other. They circled each other, snuggled, scratched each others neck and belly, and licked each others face as if kissing. Fortunately they stopped after that or Aria and the others will never know how to react anymore.
It was a scene that the remaining Lycans will never forget, especially since one of the involved party is their Alpha. They all stood there rooted, shocked from what just happened. No one said a word until Zach introduced Chloe to everyone as his mate.
"What's the problem with Chloe? She is kind, and well-mannered?" Aria asked her friend.
"That's because you are so unsuspecting of others. She is not as kind as you think she is."
"Why?" Did Chynna know something about Chloe?
"I can't talk about it here. Let's talk later."
She eyed her friend. What could Chynna possibly know about Chloe that she dislikes her as a mate for their Alpha? Chynna on the other hand, did not back out from her stare. She must discuss this with her later.
They are nearing their village and they can already see the fire coming from there. It's already three in the morning but it seems that everyone in the village is still awake.

Upon arriving at the entrance to their village, the Elders welcomed Aria's group. Zach, being the new Alpha gained the most attention from everyone. And during these times, he never let go of Chloe's hand.
Everyone's having fun eating, singing, dancing, or just talking with each other. Among their group, Dustin is the loudest. He is talking with the younger kids animatedly about his experience. Of course, the story comes with a bit of making a hero out of himself. But no one bothered because tonight is all about having fun. Even the quiet Lenard and Myca are having their own moments talking with other members of the pack.
After walking around Aria sat with her father to eat when Chynna tugged her.
"I can't see Bryle anywhere." She whispered close to Aria's ears.
"Are you looking for him?" Chief Wesley asked which made her friend blushed.
"Dad! It's rude to listen to others talking." Aria said.
"I just thought you might want to know where he is. You see minutes before you arrived the women in charge of cooking run out of wood so they asked Bryle and the others to fetch some in the storage. They just probably took their time strolling around." Chief Wesley said.
"I see. Thanks, Uncle Wesley." Said Chynna.
"Why don't you sit here first. I'll come with you later to find him." Aria urged her friend to the vacant seat next to her.
Chynna was about to sit when she suddenly stopped. Then to her bewilderment, she run off.
"What happened to her?" Aria whispered
"She probably felt him. You don't need to worry." Chief Wesley said.
Aria looked at her father, waiting for him to explain what he said but he returned back to eating and talking with others at the table.
'Nevermind, I'll just follow her.' She thought to herself. Since stepping inside the village, she noticed that Chynna became unfocused and she is worried for her friend.

Aria is already far from the party, the sound of music and people chatting happily is not that loud where she is right now. She reached the back of the houses and soon she saw Chynna's back. She was about to call her attention when she saw that a man is embracing her friend. She became alert and tried to see the face of the man and when she did, she smiled and walked away. It is Bryle. She can ask her friend later about the details, right now she will let them have their time together first.
Was it possible that the two of them imprinted on each other? If that is what happened, then maybe the reason why Bryle did not imprint earlier with Chynna is because Chynna had yet to have her awakening. Then she is really happy for her friend. This is what she is hoping for for a long time now.
Aria decided to take a walk first before returning to the party. She can't explain herself why but the incidence earlier with Zach and Chloe, and now with Bryle and Chynna made her remember about Ethan, the Lycan teenager she met a few days back. He did say he'd come. But since they arrived, she had been secretly looking for him and he is nowhere to be found. Was she actually subconsciously expecting for him to keep his promise? But why? She is such a fool to actually believe some stranger's words. For all she know, he just took her as a fool back then. Probably right now, he is rolling on the floor in laughter thinking that she is waiting for him in vain.
But why is she feeling disappointed? Was she thinking that maybe he will imprint on her?
Then she realized her track of thoughts and she felt blood rush to her face. Why would she think about imprinting on someone she barely knew? She should stop thinking about that person. It's not like they'll see each other anytime soon. He decided to ditch his promise to her so he better do some good hiding in the near future and not let her catch him.
After calming her nerves and making sure that she is no longer red in the face, Aria went back to the party and returned to her food.
"I told you there's no need to worry." Her father said in between eating a large portion of the roasted lamb which is being distributed at the moment to every table at the party.
She sat back and started wolfing her food.
"Ah, young sweet love. This is such a happy day to witness two young couples finding each others' love. It's just saddening that my dear Aria right here did not get imprinted today or else that would be really wonderful."
She was about to swallow her food when she heard that. As a result she started a coughing fit.
'Dear father, could you at least keep your desires to sell-off your only daughter to anyone willing when we're in the privacy of our own house? Am I still your daughter?' She cried inside.
