"Hey Arthur.... why are all the names of people within the White Dominion Region different to our own? The last names aside, their given names are quite similar to.....".
Arthur nodded.
"While the Seven Continents usually give their descendents names, often from History or from literature, the humans residing in the other Thirty Three Heavens usually give their children the names of Fae materials. There are some.... Clans and Sects who had migrated from other Heavens to this one, and still continue that tradition. It's nothing too important but....".
Henrik lifted his head slightly.
"But?".
Arthur let out a small sigh, eating another meat skewer, savouring the taste before he continued.
"The Violet Clan within the Azure Envy Continent is inextricably linked to the White Dominion Sect. Most of their disciples either attend the White Dominion Sect, and even their Grand Elder and Clan Leader are also apart of the White Dominion Sect. From my understanding, since this Violet Sunglass can organize a martial gathering, she must either be a direct descendent of the Clan Leader, or a direct descendent of the Grand Elder.....".
Arthur couldn't help bit show an nostalgic expression.
'Violet Sunglass....'.
Having knowledge of the future timeline, Arthur naturally had met this young woman before.
But at that time, he was already a disciple of the Nightime Demon Sect and a direct subordinate of the Formless Night Shadow Sovereign Boundary Physique wielder. When Arthur had met her, she was....
Arthur gained a peculiar glint in his eye, pausing for a half second, before resuming eating, as if nothing ever happened.
The reincarnated young man just shrugged his shoulders, pretending as though nothing had happened.
"Both the Violet Clan Grand Elder and the Violet Clan Grand Leader are peak Rank 4 Fae Masters. They only pale slightly in comparison to the White Dominion Sect Leader, who is a Rank 5 Fae Master....".
Arthur paused again for a moment, drawing the eyes of everyone else at the table. Even though they knew Arthur kept secrets from them, it didn't mean that he didn't have their best interests at heart.
He would never hurt them without there being some sort of meaning behind it.
At least.... that's what they all thought.
"We'll attend this martial gathering. This is a good chance for all of us. Within the Winter Rain Mountains our scopes were limited, and our horizons need to be broadened. This martial meeting will allow us to see exactly what the foundations of a mortal Sect in the Azure Envy Continent is exactly".
Parvan raised an eyebrow.
"Will we have to participate?".
Arthur tapped his chin for a moment before shrugging his shoulder
"Only if they provoke you first. We do not have any foundations within White Corpse City, so perhaps the main goal of the martial gathering should be to establish a relationship between us and another individual. The political situation within White Corpse City should be fine, but don't seal the deal just yet".
"White Corpse City is where the White Dominion Sect itself is located, however, they still have the Black Corpse City and Golden Corpse City to the South and East respectively. Both of these also house members of the White Dominion Sect, although aren't as politically strong as White Corpse City".
The White Dominion Sect possessed foundations all across the White Dominion Region. Individuals from the Amber Pride Continent had settled in the Azure Envy Continent, creating the White Dominion Sect. The three Cities were also founded by them, although they grew thanks to the enormous potential for growth that the Cities represented.
Every time a Sect Leader would either die, or abstain from his position, a Tournament would be held between Black, White and Golden Corpse City. The winner would naturally become the next White Dominion Sect Leader, and would be able to claim more resources for their own City.
It was both a competition, and a way of tempering their descendents.
Despite all being from a single origin, they were separated and forced to battle it out against their fellow disciples!
Such a thing was extremely common in all Sects and Clans, except for tiny ones like the Kovacs Clan in the Winter Rain Mountains. This was why they were weaker in terms of foundations and martial arts, in comparison to someone from a Sect or Clan.
Here, it was easier to survive by pushing the other person down in order to stay afloat. If one wasn't stronger than the other person, they would find themselves pushed under, forced to drown under their opponents strength, and their own lack thereof.
Arthur chewed on his final meat skewer, before turning towards Milena at the end of the table. Unlike the rest of them, who were all eating, she was currently reading several different books at once, constantly moving her gaze between them all, while nodding and unconsciously rubbing her chin.
She had become obsessed with the path of Corpses.
White Corpse City had opened up dozens of new doors before her, all of them leading down to the apex of Corpses!
The vast majority of individuals might think that over time, the Fae and Fae materials of lost and ancient civilizations would be far greater in strength and potential that the modern era, but such a thing was completely and utter wrong!
So long as mankind continued to exist, or any intelligent Race, they would continue developing forward, trying to create and innovate pre-existing Fae or Fae materials!
The reason why Fae materials and spirit beasts are so varied in the Contemporary Era is due to the research and mutations done by Fae Masters in the previous Eras! This radical and forcible evolution of something they didn't fully understand caused a sea of blood to spill, but millions, if not billions of new Fae materials to be born!
The previous Era, the Dichotomous Era!
That was the birth of both the Alchemy Attribute as well as the Blacksmithing Attribute! These two types of Fae didn't exist in ancient times!
Originally, Fae Masters used only Fae, perhaps even Laws, Intent, Bloodlines and Spirits in order to fight and do war, but with the Blacksmithing Attribute, Fae Weapons had been created!
It was true that certain Fae, perhaps even certain Fae materials, and their methods to create them had become lost to the annals of time.
But it was impossible for civilization to stagnant! People always desired to be better! To be stronger! To reach the limits of Fae and the Thirty Three Heavens!
Even though there might be sections of the path of Corpses that might never see the light of day again, it didn't mean that new doors wouldn't open as a result.
Milena had just... awakened from a dream, and found that the world was much more beautiful.
Knowledge would do that to a person, but it could just as easily do the reverse....
'The Fae Master who created the Physique Attribute Control Skills.... his knowledge brought about death and destruction....'.
Arthur just gave a wry smile before noticing some people enter the Fragrant Wine Inn. The exact moment they entered, their eyes landed on Arthur, and their gazes become searing.
