Chapter 272 - Pursuit of eternity

A few more weeks passed within Parachenko Village, and every single Fae Master, save one, had made immense gains during this period of extremely research and cultivation.

Parvan, Iryna and Zlatanna had all become Rank 2 Fae Masters, pushing past their zero quartz origin essence and now possessed vapour ruby origin essence. Their base physical strengths had increased dramatically, and now that they could use Rank 2 Fae more effectively, their collective strengths had now completely surpassed their previous selves.

It had taken them slightly less than two years in order to reach this point, which wasn't bad all things considered.

If any of them had used the Origin Essence Liquid Pond beneath the Clan Reserves, they too would've become Rank 2 Fae Masters long ago. Arthur possessed numerous origin essence regeneration Fae as well as the innate cultivation speed of a Sovereign Boundary Physique wielder. Now that he also had the Nightfall Origin Essence Liquid Pond at his disposal, his cultivation had soared as well.

Arthur had been looking for Fae materials which could store the Shamrock Leaf Flame Essence, but to no avail. Considering that he couldn't store it anywhere, he would wait until the day he left Parachenko Village before completely refining it, and selling or exchanging it later on.

Such a thing was worth an immense amount of currency to the right buyer. And luckily for Arthur, who wanted to travel to another Continent, he knew just where to sell such a thing.

"Alchemy Flame Essences are quite rare within the current Era. The Rank 9 Fae Immortal who discovered the Attribute died at the end of the Dichotomous Era, and as a result, flooded the Thirty Three Heavens with an enormous amount of Alchemy Attributed spiritual essence..... Because of that, Alchemy Attributed Fae can be found in every Heaven, although only Humans and spirit beasts can use such Fae....".

This was another reason why members of the Myriad Races didn't openly discriminate against Humans. The innate talents of Humans might be lower than the average Myriad Race member, but due to the wide variety of Fae that they could use, they weren't by any means useless.

It was true that most members of the Myriad Races thought that Humans were beneath them, but to call them "weak" would be completely incorrect. Just like how the research and experimentation of spirit beasts reached a point where people could no longer control them, the Human Race had the advantage of both numbers, and their ability to choose their path.

The existence of Origin Fae as well, still hadn't been discerned, and as to why only Humans possessed such thing baffled the Myriad Races as well....

Arthur couldn't help but let out a sigh, writing something down in a small notebook.

"..... reactions between Wood Attributed Spectre-class ghosts and Spiritual Wood Hearts have too much spiritual essence for the Ghost to handle. Usage of Ghost Vine Seeds could be possible in order to create Dusk Vine Revenants, however alternative sources of spiritual essence storage will be looked into the in the near future....".

Arthur had the Fae materials "Falling Lotus Root" and "Lightning Wood Sap" with a question mark beside them. He had two other Ghost Nurturing Swamps still collecting remnant Emotions, Thoughts and Desires and planned on using these two Fae materials in order to substitute for the Ghost Vine Seeds he had used to create Verde before.

Their purposes were similar, although the amount, timing and duration of how long they should use, or be exposed to such Fae materials needed to be calculated. And that.... needed both time and effort in order to be uncovered.

With the assistance of the A.I., Arthur didn't need to experiment or try and create new types of Fae materials with the ones he had on hand. It was possible for the A.I. to deduct the outcome of mixing multiple different types of Fae materials, so long as it had all of the required materials registered within its database.

Fae couldn't be deducted, due to the influence of heavenly laws. Ghosts, Corpses, spirit beasts and other controllable creatures couldn't be analysed either, unless Arthur had completed the process himself beforehand.

As such, only the method of forming a handful of Wood Attributed Ghosts, and numerous other formulas for creating Shadow Attributed and Bone Attributed Ghosts and Corpses could be seen within the A.I.

It was still trying to deduce the frozen green crystal in Arthur's possession, in addition to his transfigured ice arm.

Analysing the Boundless Forest Yearning Sovereign Boundary Physique would more than 1,700 years at this point, and was completely ignored by Arthur for the time being. He could speed that up by doing his own research and by increasing the level of his Law comprehension, but for the time being, that was on pause.

Increasing his cultivation, as well as his study of Ghosts took precedent. This was the only time he could wholeheartedly focus on his cultivation and research for a while, especially after he and the others left the Winter Rain Mountains.

They would be on the road for quite a while after that.

"In order to maximise the powers of the Boundless Forest Yearning, travelling to the Eternal Samsara Tree in the Viridian Greed Continent takes precedence. I'll be a Rank 3 Fae Master before we leave the Winter Rain Mountains, so I don't have to worry about my own safety, unless I come across some powerful peak Rank 3 Fae Masters, or equivalent Ranked spirit beasts....

"I can drop off Grigori, Ophelia and Titania all over the Azure Envy Continent on the way there as well, so whatever happens to them in the future will be solely in their own hands. The others.... well, it doesn't particularly matter what they do or don't do, so long as it doesn't annoy me in the end....".

If at any point in time, Nyssa, or even Henrik or Dagen wanted to leave and join a Sect or Clan, Arthur wouldn't even so much as blink before sending them on their way.

In fact, it would allow Arthur to move a lot quicker, and much more effectively without having to worry about companions holding him back.

Arthur was going to tell that Nyssa and the others stay behind in the Azure Envy Continent while he travels around the Viridian Greed Continent, but at the end of the day, they were adults and could do as they pleased.

Killing them was always an option, but after putting so much effort into training and teaching them, it would be such a waste to throw them all away like that....

At any rate-.

"Everything will be fine after we leave Parachenko Village. "That" won't happen for at least another few years, so the Azure Envy Continent will experience a strangely peaceful time for at least the next five years. But once "that" happens, I will definitely have to come back and reap some of the benefits....".

That was the greatest thing about knowing the future. Arthur didn't need to worry about not gaining anything, considering he already knew what the "end" prize was.

Puzzles, traps or even other Fae Masters could be completely avoided so long as Arthur could remember the event, and the people involved in said event.

Letting out a deep breath, Arthur entered the Winter Seasonal Array, taking off all his clothes and immediately jumping into the Nightfall Origin Essence Liquid Pond. The entirety of his being solely dedicated to cultivation, the pursuit of eternity.....
