After the events of the strange unknown Monster attacking Parachenko Village, two things in particular happened around the Village.
First of all, knowledge that anyone that wasn't at least a Rank 3 Fae Master or above was forbidden from getting too close to the Monster carcase. A massive walled off enclosure had appeared around the corpse, and Fae Masters could see the various Elders entering the building and not returning for more than several days at a time.
Apparently due to the thickness of spiritual essence within a close proximity to the Monster corpse, anyone that was a Rank 3 Fae Master or below would suffer from extreme nausea, and feel an intense throbbing sensation within their heads.
A few of the Fae Masters whom participated in the battle did feel the intense headaches but only after they were told that it was due to the immense spiritual essence emitted by the Monster. When it was alive, it was tolerable considering it was churning out both movement and monstrosities out of its bodily fluids, but now all that power had no motion and just gathered loosely around the corpse itself.
Although, of the two pieces of news, the other one was the significantly more interesting of the two.
Arthur Kovacs, the third born son of the Clan Leader and a seventeen year old was a solid ruby origin essence Fae Master.
Apparently, after entering the Monster from the inside and attempting to destroy it Arthur found himself in an independent space that existed within it. The space was significantly larger than what its size led others to believe and as a result Arthur had gotten himself lost within it.
But that wasn't the only thing.
Space wasn't the only thing that was warped within the Monster, Time was as well. Despite having spent just over an hour within the Monster's internal space, Arthur had spent more than two years inside, cultivating and surviving silently until the point where he became a solid ruby origin essence Fae Master.
Arthur was only seventeen, and yet he had exceeded more than 85% of all the Fae Masters within Parachenko Village. Technically he was nineteen, but everyone else still treated him as though he was still two years younger.
For everyone else, only a day had passed. And yet for him, two whole years had passed in the blink of an eye.
Arthur let out a faint sigh, sitting within his cultivation room, laying down silently on his back.
Over the past few days, none of his friends or family had managed to leave his side, his Mother sleeping in one of the guests rooms, as she brought Nadia and Natasha along with her. She thought that the presence of his two children would comfort him after being alone for so long.
Arthur just faked a smile and nodded, spending more than an entire week without any sort of proper cultivation or practice.
It was a small price to pay in order to prevent suspicion from arising.
Now that his Mother had taken those two back to the Clan Leaders residence, Arthur could finally breath a sigh of fresh air.
"I'm grateful for the fact that she gave birth to me.... but that was definitely annoying....".
Arthur smiled slightly, before tapping his forehead slightly. He had waited over a week to be able to do this, and Arthur was eager to find out everything he could about his new arm, his Foreign Treasure, the frozen green crystal and everything else about the World Of Madness.
Arthur stared at the ceiling, holding a frozen ball in his right hand.
"A.I. what is it that you can do exactly?".
"Ding! This A.I. has various different functions user! Would you like to go through the refresher course?".
Arthur hummed gently for a moment, before nodding.
"Sure".
"Ding! The main purpose of this A.I. is to make Human like more simpler! For example, the A.I. has various recording functions that allow it to create a mental library on everything that the user has seen, heard, read, smelt or even touched before! Even if the user has forgotten their entire memory, so long as it has been stored within the A.I. before hand, complete and total recall are possible with this function!".
"Additionally, the internal computer and calculator make it easier for Humans to calculate mathematical equations and various substances in front of them. So long as the A.I. has enough time, it can analyse just about every substance in existence!".
"Like the green crystal?".
"Ding! Correct user! Additionally, it has a complete and near-unremovable connection with the user's body. Meaning that if you ingest a foreign object, or some unknown substance, the A.I. will be able to detect it directly!".
Arthur sat up slightly, blinking a couple times.
"You mean you can detect poisons and dangerous materials?".
"Ding! Correct user! Even those metaphysical "spiritual essence" that has been detected".
"What about my hand? Can you analyse that for me as well?".
"Ding! The A.I. has already started considering both its proximity and dangerously low temperature. For some unknown reason, the "cold" does not extend past the half-way point on either the radius or the ulna. Calculations for fully analysis on the unknown right arm prosthetic will be complete in.... 49 years.... 359 days....-".
Arthur rolled his eyes and waved the A.I. off.
"Don't bother me with that for the moment. Is there anything else that you, or the A.I. can do?".
"Ding! Unfortunately user, there is not. Unless you count the strange energy field that the A.I. radiates. However, such an ability or function cannot be calculated by the A.I.....".
Arthur nodded.
"I see.... What if I do this then, show me the information regarding the object that I am currently touching....".
Arthur took out some Rank 1 Fae materials as well as a normal Rank 1 Sword Fae from his origin essence sea. Holding the Rank 1 Fae material; Heat Vine, as well as another Rank 1 Fae material; Leaf Spirit Essence.
Arthur had his suspicions that Randolf could analyse the properties of certain objects just by touching them. Now that he had a much deeper understanding of this "A.I.", Arthur could see why Randolf didn't need to experiment that much, and only needed to obtain the item in order to see what its possibilities were.
"Ding! New foreign plant matter detected! Beginning analysis.... Name: Heat Vine. Age: 6.57 years. Attributes: Fire. Various reactions: Unknown....".
"Ding! New foreign plant matter detected! Beginning analysis.... Name: Leaf Spirit Essence. Age: 3.42 years. Attributes: Wood. Various reactions: Unknown....".
"Ding! Detecting new reaction pattern! Reaction between substance, name: Heat Vine, and substance, name: Leaf Spirit Essence! Reaction: When exposing both Heat Vine and Leaf Spirit Essence to an extremely high temperature, the two substances would merge and combine to create a new substance. Name....".
"Heat Vine Powder", Arthur quickly responded.
"Ding! New foreign plant matter detected! Beginning analysis. Name Heat Vine Powder. Age: N/A. Attributes: N/A. Various reactions: Unknown....".
Arthur's eyes widened and his mouth dropped slightly at the sheer speed and preciseness of this Foreign Treasure.
Despite the fact that in comparison to some of the other Foreign Treasures that Arthur had seen, this one paled in terms of its usage during combat. It didn't have any offensive abilities whatsoever.
However....
In terms of supportive abilities, this "A.I." just might be one of the most powerful Foreign Treasures Arthur had ever seen!
