Chapter 249 - Twenty days

'The power of this "A.I.".... is unfathomable.... But....'.

"A.I.... can.... other people see the information within your database? I mean, if I were to be killed and if you were taken away, could they see the information that you contain?".

There was a slight pause in the air, and Arthur narrowed his brows while biting his lip. If the in the event that somehow, someone, by some unknown method managed to figure out that Arthur was in possession of a Foreign Treasure they might try and steal it, and use it for themselves.

If that was the case, then if Arthur wasn't already dead by then, he certainly would be in the near future. All of the knowledge and information within his head, if it was given to the A.I., could potentially start a war, especially now that he had interacted with something as ridiculous as the Madness Attribute.

If that actually happened, then Arthur wouldn't share his knowledge and experience with the A.I. at all. He would just make use of it for analysing unknown materials instead of recording everything with it.

"Ding! The privacy settings of all A.I are set to limit new users from accessing previous users knowledge and memories. Prior studies had shown such A.I. had created a sense of disconnection between new users. They started to unknowingly show signs of mental break, unable to distinguish their own memories from previous memories. As such, all A.I. have their storage wiped the moment they interact with a new user".

Arthur let out a small sigh of relief.

If that was the case then.....

"A.I.?".

"Ding! Yes user?".

"I'd like you to access my memories, and store all relevant information regarding Fae materials within yourself. Divide them into different categories, based on both Attribute and Rank. Is that possible?".

"Ding! Of course user! Calculating estimated time of completion.... 3 weeks, 6 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and-".

Arthur waved the A.I. off before laying back down letting out a breath of relief.

Randolf had been given such an amazing supportive ability, and yet due to his innate nature or perhaps through his existence as a Foreigner was someone who couldn't control his emotions. As such, he was much more susceptible to the Madness most Foreigners probably were.

For the time being, Arthur didn't place too much thought into the Madness, or exploring the Madness Attribute. He had an entire carcase, influenced and shaped by the Madness just waiting for him on the other side of the Village.

And from what he had heard, the amount of spiritual essence didn't just disappear once it had died either. It was still continuously being released even despite the fact that Randolf, and any trace of Madness had completely disappeared.

He had heard from his Father, along with Elder Bruge that the area around the Monster was off-limits to anyone below Rank 3, however, since his body contained an extraordinarily large amount of shadow-type origin essence, Arthur could enter the boundary around the Monster without feeling any discomfort at all.

Arthur thought that the circle of non-existence might still be active, but apparently, ever since he left the World of Madness, the Foreign Treasure stopped emitting the energy that created the area of non-existence.

'Perhaps it was only an unknown feature of Foreign Treasures. That they can protect Foreigners from the Madness, if they ever get influenced by it.....'.

Arthur couldn't prove that hypothesis, but he was relatively sure it was correct. The reason why Foreigners could even be born within the Thirty Three Heavens was still a Mystery, however Arthur felt as though the World of Madness was a key component in solving said Mystery.

The young man let out a loud sigh, before summoning his ghosts out from his origin essence sea.

All of them, including Verde had come back from the World of Madness as well, and despite the fact that Arthur was wary of all of them, it didn't seem as though anything had happened to any of them while they were in there.

There were all Wood Attributed Ghosts, so Arthur was worried at they might've fallen under the influence of the human-shaped moss, but luckily, there wasn't any lingered side-effects as a result of being exposed to the Madness.

It might've been due to the fact that Arthur was in possession of a Foreign Treasure, but even he didn't have the answers to that.

Answering every single question relating to a single Attribute in only a single day? Not even a Fae Immortal could do that.

At the very least, Arthur had a few remnants from the World Of Madness.

The green coloured crystal blood. The ice surrounding the green crystal. And the transfigured ice arm. There was also the shadow-type spiritual essence contained within his blood, bones and flesh, but that didn't show any signs of being active. It was an extremely high quality spiritual essence, and Arthur couldn't get rid of it for the time being.

"My ghosts are fine.... the existence of the Monster carcase is something I want to explore.... the others cultivation are proceeding fine, and even Nyssa, probably due to her proximity with the Monster has created some unknown Ghost-class ghost, one with a dual Blood-Bone Attributes.... It is.... quite powerful as well....".

Arthur had never seen such a ghost before even all throughout his previous life.

Its structure was large, even more so than Milena's Corpses which were created from the corpses of spirit beasts. It's spear-like legs were even sharper than most of Iryna's Spider Lance-type Fae, and the ribcage, with moved and writhed like fingers were even stronger and sharper than the rest of its body.

It didn't have many defences, but in terms of offensive capability it was extraordinary.

If it got the jump on a target, it could trap them within its rib-cage, using its adaptive bones to pierce and drink the targets blood.

Due to its large legs as well, the jumping power of this particular ghost was extremely powerful as well.

It was an excellent ghost, Arthur couldn't find anything bad for a first time Ghost Tamer.

Nyssa couldn't create an Imprint on the Ghost, due to the fact that she didn't have any Ghost Taming Fae, but she could still store it within a Storage Fae. The young woman still took it out every few hours, observing it and watching its actions and movements while jotting down notes in a large book.

At any rate-.

"It has been almost ten days since the Monster has been killed, so that gives me roughly twenty more days before the affects of all the Hatred Imperfection Powder comes into play.... Just over three weeks before the Kovacs Clan implodes in on itself and is destroyed by its own people....".

Arthur just opted to silently cultivate that night, part of himself thinking about the Monster carcase and the possibilities that could be born from such an existence. After destroying Parachenko Village, Arthur had already planned on staying in the region for a while, collecting everything he could before leaving and heading North.

Arthur just closed his eyes, letting out a steady breath.

"Just twenty more days.... huh....".
