Arthur didn't have any idea of what the other people within Parachenko Village were up to, and frankly he didn't care. At this point in time, Dominic was still only a Rank 2 Fae Master while Alina and Ratimir's relationship wouldn't be solidified until the end of the year.
Elder Vova and Randolf's actions would be something that Arthur didn't see in his previous life, but they weren't unexpected after everything he had done.
For the time being, it was best to focus on increasing his own strength as much as possible. The nine Fae Masters, underneath him, Parvan, Milena, Zlatanna, Iryna, Henrik, Dagen, Eric, Helga and Nyssa were all progressing smoothly and he was waiting on the majority of them to reach Rank 2 before anything else.
Milena's talents were the best out of his generation of Fae Masters, but Nyssa, being a first-tier talent was already a solid-quartz origin essence Fae Master. She had only been one for a couple days, but couldn't suppress her breakthrough any longer and reached the next sub-realm of cultivation.
The others were all at varied stages of cultivation, but Iryna, Parvan and Zlatanna were all hadron origin essence Fae Masters. Before the end of the year, the four of them would undoubtably become Rank 2 Fae Masters.
There were also the ghosts within Arthur's possession. He currently had five ghosts, all of whom possessed Ghost-class level potentials or higher, which, all things considered wasn't too bad for someone who had barely studied ghosts in his previous life.
Arthur had mainly got to his point by solely relying on his past knowledge. But considering it ended shortly after he had just started, he needed to start accumulating more knowledge and experience on his own.
His foundations were also not very stable when it came to the study and research of ghosts, so for the time being, he placed the comprehension and understanding of ghosts on the backburner and relied on his knowledge and understanding of the Wood Attribute in order to increase his ghosts strength.
They were all Wood-Yin Attributed, with one being Water-Wood-Yin, so he could rely on his Wood Laws and Boundless Forest Yearning in order to increase their currents strengths just beyond the boundary of a Rank 1 Fae Master.
Arthur smiled summoning his Storage Fae from his origin essence sea, before stopping mid-step, suddenly gripping at his heart.
His eyes widened significantly, and his breathing stopped, his mind frozen in place as it it had been gripped by something incomprehensible, something completely foreign to his current existence or state of mind.
Arthur's head tilted downwards and even despite the pain he closed his eyes and focused on his Mind Origin Essence Sea, towards where the Law image for the Boundless Forest Yearning had taken root.
The faint, formless Law image within Arthur had suddenly grown exponentially and its faint pink coloured vines emitted a soft, gentle scent.
Arthur managed to take in a deep breath of air and watched the the faint pink coloured scent wafted through Arthur's entire origin essence sea. It expanded, becoming larger and larger until the point where his Mind origin essence sea was no longer the same colour as the other two origin essence seas!
The colour of Arthur's mind origin essence sea, had suddenly become a much lighter shade of red, almost appearing pink in colour.
Arthur's eyes flashed a faint pink colour, as he lifted his head, his mouth dropping slightly as if he had suddenly come to some sort of realization.
"Ah.... I see. The innate power born from the Boundless Forest Yearning. Belonging to me and me alone.... That is what this is.....".
Arthur let out a small sigh of relief, glancing to the small pail of water in the room and glancing down at it, noticing the distinct pink colour of his irises. His pupils had also shifted slightly in terms of size, appearing someone like the petals of a flower, making him appear less human-like.
Arthur let out a loud exhale, and stopped the flow of power from the Affection Tree Law image and blinked, noticing his eyes return to their normal colour.
Immediately exiting his cultivation room, Arthur activated his innate ability again, noticing distinct lines emerging out from his body, leading towards numerous other sections of Parachenko Village. Narrowing his pink, petal shaped eyes, Arthur glanced upwards, towards where two of these lines led to, noticing that Nadia and Natasha were both upstairs.
One of his eyebrows raised slightly, before looking down and noticing the slight blur between some of the lines. Exiting his house and moving rapidly towards Nyssa's house, Arthur noticed that the "line" between her and him were much thicker in comparison to most of the other "lines".
Most of the lines grew blurry or faint with distance, but as Arthur grew closer and closer towards Nyssa, the thickness of the line grew all the more solid.
"Hmm....", he muttered.
Moving towards Henrik's house, Arthur sat silently on the rooftop, noticing that while the "line" connecting them wasn't nearly as thick as Nyssa's was, it was also dyed a slight pink. Glancing through the window towards Henrik and his mother, Arthur couldn't see the thickness of their "line", but could see that were wasn't any sort of colour or shade to it.
Arthur visited the houses of numerous people that night, including every single member of his "team" in addition to Ratimir, Alina's and even the Clan Leaders Residence.
Everyone whom he had affected with the Affection Tree Fae, with the sole exception of Iryna and Nyssa possessed pink coloured lines. While all of his family, including his siblings and grandfather all possessed black coloured lines.
Iryna and Nyssa also had black coloured lines.
Arthur nodded understandingly.
"I see. My innate ability born from the Boundless Forest Yearning isn't like its predecessors, and can't be used like the Affection Tree Fae. It is an investigative-type ability that allows me to see lines of affection connecting two people..... I can also see whether that the affection has been influenced by someone or not....".
This was.... good.
This was really good.
Arthur couldn't test the true limits of this ability, but if he was correct in its usage, he should be able to see if "affection" had been naturally or unnaturally cultivated within a person. Unlike most investigative type Fae which tried to examine the physical world and past events, Arthur could investigate the minds of people and how they felt towards one another.
If for some reason there was an unnatural, or strange level of affection between two strangers, it was obvious that they had met before and were either pretending not to have, or that they were under the influence of something.
Or someone.
Arthur could even check if he was under the influence of someone else's Fae. And then try and work to break said connection.
Investigative type Fae weren't uncommon, but to find a Fae Master who specialized in one, especially outside of Clans and Sects was pretty difficult. This ability only added another card to Arthur's hand, one that belonged to him and him alone.
"I'll call it.... Eyes Of Affection. That'll be fine for the time being....".
The seventeen year old smiled before returning back to his house. Either way, his days in Parachenko Village were numbered.
