Arthur knew that he had just been put on the radar of a.... peculiar individual.
It wasn't a dangerous situation per se, considering he knew her personality and her likes and dislikes, but the only bad thing about it was that she was a Rank 5 Fae Master, while he was only a Rank 2 Fae Master.
He knew she wouldn't try and do anything for the time being, and even if she did, considering he possessed a Sovereign Boundary Physique, the woman wouldn't do anything too rash. She might have a couple of screws loose, but she wasn't stupid.
The benefits of managing to sway someone with a Sovereign Boundary Physique to her Sect's side would be much greater than mind controlling them and adding them to her collection of beautiful young men and women.
Arthur had the potential to at least become a Rank 5 Fae Master. With the sole exceptions of Fae Immortals and divine beasts, such a power was at the peak of humanities comprehension.
He would have to end up meeting her soon enough, especially since he wanted to reach the Viridian Greed Continent and travel to the Eternal Samsara Tree. Just like the Falling Snow River, the Eternal Samsara Tree was also a Fae Ground, where spiritual essence and spiritual veins were plentiful in the regions surrounding it.
Since he had the Boundless Forest Yearning, there was a chance that Arthur could gain something from travelling there as well. What he could gain however, even someone with his knowledge and experience didn't know.....
At any rate-
"I've got my hands on the Rank 2 Spirit Animosity Tree Fae, in addition to the Rank 3 Solid Pride Fae and the Rank 3 Emotion Sword Fae".
Both of these Emotion Attributed Fae worked in tandem with one another, in the same manner that one would "use fae to compliment fae". Considering Arthur's low cultivation, he could probably only activate one of them before his origin essence sea was more than halfway dried up, so for the time being Arthur would only refine the Solid Pride Fae.
The Fae did exactly as what the name suggested. It gathered the emotion known as "pride" within an individual and solidified it in the physical world. The shape was fixed the moment the Fae Master first uses the Fae, although with the use of supplementary Fae, it was possible to transform the manifested emotion into all sorts of shapes and forms.
When used in tandem with the emotion sword fae, the manifested pride would transform into the shape of a sword. It's power would increase dramatically in accordance to the quality and strength of Arthur's pride.
It was quite an elementary way of manipulating and using Emotion Attributed Fae, or even just Mind Attributed Fae as a whole, but in the right hands, it was more than capable of releasing a force greater than what should be considered possible.
Once a particular emotion, thought or desire has gone through multiple refinements, or has just been accumulated over the ages, the strength of such a belief would grow exponentially.
Those Fae Masters who used Mind Attributed Fae all had to be strong-willed, even in the face of absolute despair. Because if their emotions faltered, shattered or broke under intense strength or absolute force.... they would end up losing the source of their power.
With his previous knowledge, Arthur could firmly say that he was above every single Fae Master within the Thirty Three Heavens, perhaps with the sole exception of those Fae Masters with Sovereign Boundary Physiques, or those Fae Masters directly descended from Rank 9 Fae Immortals.
Now that he also had a Sovereign Boundary Physique, he could level the playing field, and make everyone start from the same position in life. Even if in terms of resources he couldn't compare to Clans or Sects that had created Rank 9 Fae Immortals, in terms of knowledge on the future, perhaps they couldn't match Arthur....
The power of Pride.... was currently Arthur's greatest ability. His confidence, his demeanour, and even his temperament, were all refined for over a thousand years. If he broke down at the first sight of loss, or at a defeat, he wouldn't even be able to look his previous self in the face.
Arthur has tasted defeat. Humiliation. Loss. Guilt.
And everything in between. So long as he continued to get up, and keep living he would eventually be able to reach the apex.
Regardless of whether you were walking the demonic path or the righteous path, a firm will was required in order to become a Fae Immortal.
..... Perhaps it was even more immortal than talent or ability.....
Arthur let out a small sigh, before lifting his head and glancing at the numerous stalls and stores all around him.
There was a large sphere of water, surrounded by kelp, coral and all manners of marine flora on his right. The store aimed at selling aquatic Wood Attributed and Plant Attributed Fae to Fae Masters, although it wasn't as popular as the pure Wood Attributed building, created out of a large ancient tree, or the Water Attributed Building, which was also merged with the Ice Attributed building.
Half of the structure was pure water, while the other half was ice. There were symmetrical, so it wasn't exactly ugly, but in Arthur's eyes, such a thing was quite.... incorrect.
It was like trying to find similarities between flowers and trees. They were both plants, but their fundamental differences is what caused the existence of the two Attributes. If they were so similar that they could be considered the same, then there wouldn't be an Ice Attribute or a Water Attribute, it would just a....
Arthur let out a sigh, throwing those thoughts to the back of his mind.
Turning his head he could also see some familiar faces in the crowds, gazing at the various stores and stalls that had just set up outside of Parachenko Village. The Fae Master area was much larger and more prominent than the mortal area, however the difference in numbers made it look much smaller in comparison.
Arthur noticed Ratimir and Alina enter a store that specialized in weapon type Fae, while Borik entered one that specialized in Transformation Attributed Fae.
Arthur had yet to see Randolf come here yet, and probably guessed that he planned on coming here the moment that the foreigner knew that he wasn't here anymore.
Since he used Fire Attributed Fae, Arthur glanced at a few of the Fae being traded or being sold in the Fire Attributed store, but just let out a sigh as he noticed the larger amount of Fae Masters gathering around it. He wouldn't manage to get a good look from here, and he couldn't be bothered waiting for the crowds to disperse.
Arthur noticed Iryna enter the same store that Borik did as well as Dagen and Milena, both of whom were chatting peacefully as they walked through the numerous stalls. Arthur could hear some of their conversation, most of it being about the nature of their poison type fae and how they could make their collective powers stronger.
Arthur didn't see, Zlatanna, Helga, Nyssa, Eric, Henrik or Parvan. Perhaps they were busy, or would come on a later date.
He even noticed Dominic and Leon walking about, the pair gazing at the Water Attributed and Wood Attributed Fae as well.
The thousand year old demon was surrounding by smiles, lights and the feeling of summer on his face. The heat from other people, and the happiness and joy that they all felt, made him feel slightly at peace for a moment.
Before he sighed and walked back towards his house.
It wasn't the first time he had massacred a Village. Giving them all a sense of peace and tranquillity was the only mercy that Arthur could give before he killed everyone.
