Within Human Heaven, there existed Seven Continents, mirrored by the Seven Seas. Each Continent possessed their own heavenly laws, and allowed different types of fae to form, depending on the environment and naturally grown Fae materials in these lands.
The Azure Envy Continent was known for their lush forests and winding rivers, most of which spanned entire nations, providing lots of natural boundaries, and plenty of regions with large amounts of fae and spirit beasts.
The Azure Envy Continent's most famous landmarks were the 13 Famous Rivers and the 7 Heavenly Forests. Each of these landmarks had existed since the creation of the Azure Envy Continent, and would exist long after the current era.
These Famous Rivers and Heavenly Forests were blessed by the essence of the Heavens and the Earth, and were a bountiful region in regards to naturally forming fae, and naturally forming fae materials.
Countless wars and conflicts had been fought over the ownerships of these Rivers, and numerous Sects and large Clans had gone extinct, battling over the rights to use the Forests.
The Kovacs Clan was formed on the edge of the Falling Snow River, the ninth ranked of the 13 Famous Rivers. They were situated at the lower ends of the river, where the essence of the Heavens and Earth was much thinner than at the beginning of the river.
The huge forests that protected Parachenko Village were a result of being so close to the Falling Snow River. A massive expanse which stretched throughout the western territories of the Azure Envy Continent.
Elder Kovacs seemed proud to be apart of the Kovacs Clan, which established their roots so close to one of the 13 Famous Rivers.
Arthur just sighed leaning against a tree as he felt the thicker origin essence around him.
'If the Kovacs Clan established their foundations here, perhaps they would have a few Rank 5 Fae Masters by now', he thought.
Arthur shook his head before sighing.
If any power wanted to establish themselves on the banks of the 13 Famous Rivers, their Sect or Clan would be annihilated overnight. This was an agreement formed by the most powerful Sects and Clans of the Azure Envy Continent which forbid any organization from setting up so close to the River.
This rule was followed by large organizations, but didn't technically include lone cultivators or vagrants who left their Sects or Clans.
The Azure Envy Continent was home to quite a few hidden dragons and crouching tigers. Most people wouldn't know who these individuals were, but due to the existence of the 13 Famous Rivers, some cultivators could become powerhouses, and not be forced to expose themselves for treasures.
Of course, Clans and Sects would send out parties of disciples in order to traverse the Rivers for their treasures, and since it was only a visit, there wasn't anything they could do about it.
'If the Kovacs Clan was founded near the third placed Ominous Water River or the second placed Heavenly Yang River than they might even have a couple of Fae Immortals in isolation....'.
Arthur sighed before shaking his head.
The secrets that the 13 Famous Rivers and 7 Heavenly Forests hid were too plentiful to count. Just in this Falling Snow River alone there existed numerous inheritances and countless treasures, just waiting to be found.
Arthur trailed behind the rest of the group, meeting up with the Clan members down at the riverbank.
This group was lead by Dominic, Arthur and Chensa's oldest brother.
The tall, muscular young Clan Leader smacked his chest a couple times as he saw Elder Vova and the others approach.
"Teacher! You guys are just in time! Our harvest today wasn't too bad, much better than previous months!".
Dominic had been the personal disciple of Elder Vova, and was accepted just as he awakened his first-tier talent many years ago. The closeness between those two were almost as close as the relationship between Arthur and Dominic.
Teacher for one day, father for life, he thought.
Elder Vova smiled and patted Dominic on the back.
"Well done Dominic! It seems that the essence of the Heavens and the Earth are returning to their natural state. Ever since the talent awakening ceremony a few months ago, it had been slightly off, but its good that things are returning to normal".
Arthur turned to the side and scratched the back of his head.
This didn't happen in his previous life, and the only other thing that changed was his reincarnation.
Drawing upon the essence of the Heavens and Earth in both the time that he "died" and the time that he was "reborn" was probably how he sustained the time travel. Such a huge thing had drawn upon the natural essence of the World, so it was only natural that it affected the surrounding areas.
But that didn't matter.
If he were to reincarnate back to the time where he was near the Heavenly Yang River, there might not even be a change in natural essence.
The difference between the ninth Ranked and the second Ranked was just too wide.
Only someone who had experienced both would understand.
Dominic noticed both of his younger siblings here and winked at them before gesturing the rest of the new Fae Masters to come towards the boat they had hidden.
All of the boxes that they loaded up onto horses contained Fae, and since there were close to a hundred boxes that means-.
The eyes of the young Fae Masters widened!
Even Randolf, Ratimir and Alina all went wide eyed as they gazed at the numerous Fae that entered their eyes.
Andrea's mouth dropped a little, while Arthur remained silent amidst all of the commotion.
Dominic patted his chest, giving all of the young Fae Masters a smile before opening his arms wide.
"Come now! Don't be shy! Go and pick one!".
All eyes turned towards Dominic, even the members of his team all looked at him queerly.
They had just risked their lives in order to obtain these Fae, and now their team leader wanted to give most of them away to a bunch of children?
All of them were Rank 2 Fae Masters, and would receive a huge reward for bringing back so many Fae to the Clan. Since there were almost fifty new Fae Masters in this generation, that meant close to half of their bounty would be given away....
Dominic sent a glance towards Elder Vova, who nodded before he turned back to his team.
"Don't worry! In exchange, I'll give up my portion of the rewards, and in addition, I'll give you guys the chance to enter the Clan Reserves and pick out a Rank 2 Fae of your choice".
Instantly, all of the tension in the air vanished, replaced by small self-depreciating smiles.
They had all known Dominic for several years now, and followed him as both a friend and a comrade. They new his personality well, and knew that he would rather take a loss and let them reap the benefits.
Dominic was an altruistic person, a natural born leader and an extremely talented individual.
He was perfect candidate to lead the next generation of Kovacs after his father, they thought.
Elder Vova smiled and patted Dominic's shoulder once more.
"Don't worry Dominic, I'll sought out everything with Elder Anatol", Elder Vova turned to his class and narrowed his eyes, "You all better thank the young Clan Leader! If this was someone else, even if I asked they could still refuse!".
Arthur raised an eye at his older brother, who then winked at him once more.
Dominic walked past Arthur to say hello to his younger sister, but muttered something as he brushed past Arthur.
"Between you and me, go for the one's near the end horse. You might find something interesting there".
Arthur smiled.
Family did have its uses after all.
