Arthur didn't even miss a beat and walked straight towards the end horse.
All of his classmates were busy examining the fae, trying their best to figure out what Fae there was to choose from, and what abilities each of these Fae possessed.
This wasn't like the Clan Reserves, where they could ask the Elders what abilities each Fae possessed, and they could only try their luck and use their knowledge and wisdom to pick a suitable Fae.
Arthur glanced at Randolf before sending moving his gaze towards Andrea for a moment.
The foreigner had already started to handle each Fae, touching them gently in his hands before moving onto the next one.
He didn't even notice Arthur staring at him, fully immersed in the gentle touching of these Fae.
Arthur smirked slightly before shaking his head.
'This guy.... if he was in a larger Sect or Clan, I'm afraid his origins would've already been exposed', he thought.
Andrea on the other hand, was pulled back by one of the Clan Elders, who muttered something to her, before nodding and letting her go.
It was obvious she had received some sort of knowledge or wisdom regarding her choice of Fae, one whose powers would be fully exerted by her Sovereign Boundary Physique.
Arthur arrived at the horse at the end of the convoy and gazed at the Fae Boxes, narrowing his eyes.
Each of the 13 Famous Rivers and the 7 Heavenly Forests of the Azure Envy Continent all possessed their own unique traits. Other Continents possessed their own legendary Fae Grounds, and every single one of them possessed certain heavenly laws which were unique to that area.
For example, the Heavenly Yang River, ranked second out of Azure Envy Continents 13 Famous Rivers, often naturally formed Water Attributed Fae with fiery abilities or blazing abilities. Some of the rarer Attributes of Fae one could find were Yang Attributed Fae and Sun Attributed Fae.
In this Falling Snow Famous River, one could find a plethora of Water Attributed Fae and Ice Attributed Fae. Rare Attributes, like Snow and Cold were also possible, but one might search for an entire month and not find a single one.
Not to mention, legendary Fae Grounds were home to numerous spirit beasts. One had to have a sufficient level of strength in order to traverse these Fae Grounds, less they become food for the existences that dwell in these waters.
Arthur ignored those thoughts and moved his focus back towards the Fae in the Fae Boxes.
"Stream Fae.... Water Leaf Fae.... Whirlpool Fae.... Water Double Fae.... Shallow Step Fae.... Oh? There is an Azure Fae? And a Icespike Fae?".
Azure Fae was the counterpart to the Crimson Fae. It similarly created a large ball of solid ice which could be flung towards an opponent. Once it hit something solid, it would explode outwards, sending large shards of ice everywhere around the point of impact.
On the other hand Icespike Fae was the counterpart to Flamespike Fae. It created a flowing armour out of ice on the Fae Masters back, with huge spikes on it to ward off potential threats.
They weren't exactly rare Fae, but seeing them both together reminded Arthur of Randolf's abilities.
It would be quite poetic using his own Fae abilities against him, but useless for Arthur in the long run.
"My offensive is fine, and with the addition of both the forest kelp fae and the crocodile tail fae, my defensive abilities has increased dramatically. Speed wise, I can still use the wind walker fae until something better comes along, while in terms of physical endurance, I don't have anything".
There was a relatively uncommon fae called fish scale fae, the same transformation type fae as Arthur's crocodile tail fae, but its strength wouldn't be fully exerted out of water.
'If there was a crocodile skin fae or crocodile scale fae things would be perfect. But for now, I'll have to come up with the remainder of this transformation with my own resources'.
And in order to do that, Arthur needed a larger wealth.
The fifteen year old reached into one of the Fae Boxes and pulled out another small sprout. It's tiny roots swung helplessly in the faint breeze and Arthur smiled as he immediately used his origin essence to refine this Fae.
The small sprout was a Wood Attributed Fae, more specifically a Fruit Attributed Fae.
"The Wood Essence Melon Fae....".
A variation of the traditional Essence Melon Fae.
This Fae only needed Spirit Water to feed on, and within a month, it could produce three melons for consumption.
Each of these melons weren't only extremely beneficial towards origin essence regeneration, but also, their leftover skin would be quite valuable to those groups of Fae Masters who research Fae Formula.
After this trip, Arthur had already planned on giving another Fae Formula to Alina's father, Robert, and gain another source of revenue from him.
Additionally, it just so happened that the skin of Essence Melons could enhance the formation rate of this particular Fae. Wood Essence Melons wouldn't have as much of an effect as Night Essence Melons, but still, it was better than nothing.
Arthur smirked slightly, feeling that this Rank 1 Wood Essence Melon had already been half refined.
With his solid quartz origin essence he could refine Rank 1 Fae much faster than what he did with only vapour or liquid quartz origin essence.
Once he reached Rank 2 and possessed ruby origin essence, most Rank 1 Fae could be refined within minutes, with a few small exceptions.
Arthur moved to a quieter location, a little closer towards the riverbank of the Falling Snow River and silently refined the wood essence melon.
Being in the presence of a legendary Fae Ground, Arthur could feel the origin essence within him become much more vigorous, as was the case with all of his classmates.
Most of them couldn't' adapt to the sudden change in their origin essence and went slightly pale as they put their Fae back inside the Fae Boxes, opting to carry them back to a place where they could safely refine it.
Only a few of them, such as Randolf and Andrea could adjust to the sudden change and refine their new Fae.
Most of them noticed that Arthur was practically right in front of the river, silently sitting, believing that he was just enjoying the presence of the legendary Fae Ground.
Those with better sight, like Elder Vova and Dominic sighed slightly as they shook their heads.
"If only your third brother was a first-tier talent Dominic. Then perhaps you would be able to lead the Kovacs Clan to new heights together!".
Dominic nodded slightly, sighing at his brothers fate.
Even if he had the benefits of both the vein limit fae and the mysterious blood fae that his Father had told him about, Arthur was still a second-tier talent, one with only a 201% origin essence sea.
This limited his future achievements greatly.
Perhaps Arthur would be able to reach Rank 3 within his lifetime, but he couldn't even dream about reaching Rank 4.
Arthur naturally didn't know about the thoughts of Randolf and Elder Vova, only gently sighing as he gazed out towards the Falling Snow River.
".... even after a thousand years, I still remember the favour you showed me".
Arthur seemed slightly sombre as he gazed out towards the legendary Fae Ground.
"If I can change your fate in this life, I will surely do so".
His words were lost amidst the faint breeze and lapping waves. Perhaps his words did reach their intended target, or perhaps they would travel forever before reaching the one he was speaking to.
Arthur paused for a moment before sighing and standing up.
He had just turned around before the sound of a glass bottle came from behind him.
Inside was a clear multicoloured liquid. It shone with the colours even outside that of the visible spectrum. The faint light was layered, emitting thirty three divine lights which seemed to give off an incredibly serene aura.
Arthur's eyes widened as he gazed at the small glass bottle, and he instantly picked it up, hiding it underneath his clothes.
He turned towards the Falling Snow River, and gave a deep bow towards it.
There were many things that Arthur would do on his path towards the apex. Many people and many fae he would willingly sacrifice in order to reach the zenith.
But.... those Fae Immortals, those creatures that had exceeded the limits of their own mortality all knew one thing.
The Heavens and the Earth were fair and just. In its eyes, all creatures born under it were equal.
The legendary Fae Grounds were facets of the Heavens and the Earth. They could be considered existences that aren't and are the Heavens and the Earth at the same time.
Offending one, would be the same as offending the entirety of the Thirty Three Heavens.
But obtaining one of their blessings?
Arthur smiled, his head turning towards Andrea, causing him to smile slightly as she noticed his gaze.
Then the path towards immortality would be paved by the Heavens and the Earth.
