after a movie Maran and his wife returned to his his house. suddenly Maran put his hand on his back and realises that he had lost his purse. He turns back at shock and sees that a car was coming nearer to him blowing loud horns and flashing headlight. He said to stop it and they threw a handkerchief and gets back without stopping.
Maran picks the handkerchief and concludes that it was his wife's handkerchief. He was shocked and worried about her wife. He checked all his home and couldn't find her. He goes to his dog and make him smell the handkerchief. The dog by his smelling power runs smelling the handkerchief. He comes to road and keeps on running. Maran follows him and calls police for help who were stalking him. His dog stops at a building. Maran shouts her name aloud.
The blackmen there gets alert and there is and suddenly someone hit Maran with a stick. He gets unconscious and he falls there. After sometime the dog splashes water at him. He wakes up and went into the building. The police helps him and there is a huge gun fire shootout between them suddenly one Blackman fires his gun at Maran but he was saved by a sacrifice. His dog jumps up, gets his heart pierced with bullets and his owner was safe.
Police arrested the blackmen and punished them. Both Maran and his wife were safe. Suddenly he hears a sound,"wake up Maran." then he realises that it wasn't reality but a dream. He wonders who could be her wife neither he remembered the name he shouted nor the face. He was curious know her. He also wonder that it was his 2nd term in which his dog had came. Maybe he loves his dog very much.
