Chapter 42 - C40| Homecoming

Richard's POV:

"I'm still sorry your visit has to be cut so short," Oz told me. "If I wasn't so interested in this letter, we would get to spend more time together. You can feel free to visit me later on. I should be back in a few months." He eyed over the letter he was holding. "Until then, I'm going to China and I won't be expected home anytime soon." He looked at his sister and wrapped an arm around her. "You can take Renata with you for a traveling companion."

"That's fine," I purred then frowned. "I have my own business to attend to as well. I hope that you find what you're looking for in China and that it's not a disappointment." Paris... He's here on this continent somewhere up North... but... do I really want to find him? I tsked a little then looked them over. "It's been wonderful to meet you both. Maybe we will see each other again." I headed for the door then paused. "Do you know anything about a family named Grimm?" I glanced over my shoulder at them and frowned. They may have heard something as well....

"They've been building a manor up north- I think it's in Maine. They should be finished now- we hear rumors of a Grimm manor every now and then when we talk to the wolves. They're into gossip. They might know more than we do. I think it's two twins that's been up there building," Zehara told me. I nodded. My Paris is in Maine... but what's this about a twin? His twin is dead.... I frowned and walked out then. It's been so long since I've seen Paris... and the last time I saw him... I dumped him on an island by himself. I felt my stone pulse at the thought of the look on his face- the heartbroken look he had given me when he found me in Africa. I really... really hurt him badly. I was so caught up in what happened to me that I forgot about what I put Paris through too.... Would he even look at me the same if I showed up? No, he wouldn't. I'd have to work to earn that back. I can't believe I did that to him.... I looked at the horizon before I frowned. He's North.... I could do it. I know where he's at. If I could just hurry.... I wouldn't be long. I glanced back at the door behind me then frowned.

"Thanks you two," I said then looked back at the horizon. I could do it.... I must see him again. Even if it's just to catch a glimpse of him. I want to earn his love back- I have to. It's all my fault. Why should I have to earn his love though? I'm his mate... I should be able to just take him back without a second thought. He's mine. He's been mine since the day he stepped into my territory. The day he walked into my music room. The last time I saw him he was so broken I could easily reform him into how I want him to be. A mate that would never betray me again. He's learned his lesson. What is he even doing up north? He's supposed to be on that island where I put him to rot and think about what he done. Mates can't learn their lessons if they escape from the cell in which they were put in- in this case on.

"He looks like our presence helped him heal," I heard Zehara telling Oz. "You know, he came to us with that dark aura... and ever since he's been with us he's been healing."

"Yes, your right sister..." Oz told her. "Maybe our fountains he's been bathing in healed him as well. They've been known to have healing powers."

"No, I think it's just all the beads' colors distracted him from eating up all the civilization in this area," she giggled out. Beads? I frowned then paused before I looked back at them and smirked.

"You wouldn't mind if I took a bead necklace back home with me, would you? I have someone I'd like to give it to." I could give it to Paris as a gift to make him follow me again. He'd like beads, right? They make such a pretty sound.

"Sure, take a few to give that special person to," Oz told me. "We'll make more to replace them." I nodded and walked back in before I grabbed a little basket that was filled with them.

"Thank you very much," I purred out and winked. "They might help me get back into that person's arms." He'll like the pretty colors.

"You're welcome," Oz told me and smirked. "You'll have to send me a letter on if it works." I nodded then looked back towards the horizon before I teleported. Here I come, Paris....

Paris's POV:

I heard a faint babbling in my arms before little hands tugged on my hair, a little boy cooing up at me as he kicked his tiny feet. He looked familiar to me.... He had my hair... my nose... Richard's strong chin. I eyed him over and purred as I started to rock him in my arms. He's beautiful... He's gorgeous.... That's my kid.... that must be my kid. I heard a purr start up behind me before Richard's scent filled the area by me and he slipped his arms around my neck, leaning his head over my shoulder to look down at the baby. He kissed my cheek then my neck, watching the baby as it giggled in delight from the sight of Richard. I eyed over the child and let out a purr.

"That's mine," I whispered softly as I ran my fingers across the baby's cheek. I've never seen anything more- beautiful. I've wanted a kid for so long...

"Of course, it's yours," Richard said then smirked, nipping at my ear. "Who else would it belong to? That's ours... and the other one is on our bed." I gasped and looked around then. Another one? There's more!? I spotted another identical baby boy chewing on our pillows on the bed, his little hands balled up into the pillow covers as he had his fangs exposed. There was a little girl who was older- about six- reading on the windowsill as she played with her white hair. She looked so much like Rose, but I could see a mix of Richard in her. Three kids? What? When did this happen? I laughed softly and eyed over the one in my hands and turned to look at Richard before I eyed him over.... This is a dream.... He purred as he looked me in the eyes then leaned in, stealing a small kiss from me. "I love you," he murmured to me and rubbed my cheek. "You're my whole world, Paris. You know that, right? You and the kids...." I eyed him over and felt my eyes starting to water up.

"I don't know," I whispered to him and trembled a little. "Not anymore." He frowned then pulled his hand away, putting it on my shoulder.

"Paris..." he murmured and then shook his head. "Of course, I love you. You're my mate... and we wouldn't have had children if we didn't love each other." He kissed my cheek then before he hugged me, making sure not to hurt the baby in my arms. I eyed over the child in my arms and kissed his head before I pulled away from Richard and walked away with him. I know I love this little guy. "Paris," he groaned and started to follow me. "How long is it going to take? How many children will it take?"

"All of them," I whispered in admiration as I eyed over the boy. "It's going to take all of them. I want them all."

"Paris," he whispered and stopped walking. "I can give you all the children you could possibly want... but you can't keep pushing me away."

"I'm not pushing you..." I trailed off as I looked at him and blushed. Why am I dreaming this? He frowned as he watched me then shook his head.

"I'll be in my piano room," he said then started for the door in the room.

"No, you won't," I whispered to him. "Stay with me. Just for now until I wake up." He looked at me for a few minutes then slowly nodded before he came over and gave me a kiss.

"I'll stay," he promised me before he purred and looked down at the little guy in my arms. He stole him from me and smirked. "Did you miss daddy while I was away getting more blood for us?" He asked and purred loudly as he hugged him. The little boy squealed in delight and hugged Richard's head before he whined and looked towards the other one on the bed, reaching for him as the other one finally got a hole in the pillow. I frowned and walked up to the other one and stole him away from the pillow and bounced him in my arms.

"That's not something you should be chewing on," I warned him. He spat out a few feathers and cried as he looked towards me innocently then reached for my face.

"Mommy," he whined and gave me an impatient look. I felt my breath catch as I watched him. Mommy? I-I'm the mom? He gripped a lock of my hair and tugged on it with a pout before he kicked his feet. "Mommy~" Mommy? I-I'm the mommy? N-No.... I'm a daddy...

"Daddy," I whispered.

"Mommy," the little guy said again and then whined as he gave me an expectant look.

"Paris, he wants his kiss," Richard whispered and laughed. "You know he loves your attention." I eyed over my small child before I smirked and leaned in- giving his cheek a kiss.

"Daddy," I purred to him. He giggled and gave me a sweet look as he let my hair go and purred.

"Moooommy~ My mommy~" I laughed softly and gave him a hug- placing him on my hip quickly as I started to dance with him.

"I'm a daddy," I told him.

"You haven't long been a man again," Richard hummed out as he watched us with a smirk. "You only recently were changed back." I tensed up and looked at him.

"Listen up~ I fathered this child," I said quickly.

"No, you gave birth to him," he said and smirked. "You had our little girl and then twins."

"That's what you think- but this is my dream and you were the mommy," I told him and smirked.

"I was not the mommy," he said and purred, starting for me. "I can prove it too~"

"Oh yeah?" I asked. "Prove it." He kissed me passionately then and started to steal the other child from me so he could get closer and purred against my lips. I whined and reached out for my baby. That's my boy! He pulled back for a minute then set the boys down on the bed, watching as they immediately started to crawl after each other with playful growls as they exposed their fangs at each other. He purred then looked at me before he snatched me by the waist and dipped me back, kissing me again. I pulled back quickly and placed my fingers on his lips.

"Where's Louis?" I asked softly... He's who I dream about.... Where is he? I frowned and grabbed his shirt. WHAT'S A DREAM WITHOUT MY TWIN!?

"Don't you remember? He's upset at us again," Richard grumbled. "Something about how a pet of his died...." Edmund? - Terry? Where's Terry!? I felt my heart begin to race. "He went back to Wales to bury that wolf of his...." What wolf- the wolf he just got? Bury? Did he die? Of course, he died if he's being buried... "He's not around. He hasn't been here in years... and Dante is waging a war on the English princes. Laurence and Louis are about to get attacked." No- No I've got to help them then!

"I have to go," I whispered softly. He growled at me then.

"No, you're not going. We've talked about this. You have to protect our children, remember? I was going to go."

"That's my twin and - and best friend...." I trailed off and eyed him over. "You're not keeping me out of it. I make my own decisions." He exposed his fangs at me then and narrowed his eyes.

"Paris, you're staying here where it's safe. I'm not going to lose you," he hissed and glared at me. "I can't lose you again."

"Well I can't lose them," I hissed out and eyed him over. "You stay."

"Hell no," he growled out then spun me around to face my twins. "You have to stay for them. They're too young. Alice is too young to take care of them either. You need to stay with them. I'm going."

"You don't tell me what to do! I'll leave them with Rose. She'll be fine watching them." I yanked away from Richard and went for them. I'll take them to Rose and go save my twin.

"Rose is dead. Victor accidentally drained her," Richard muttered as he watched me. I tensed up and looked over my shoulder.

"Where. The. Fuck. Is. He?" I snarled out.

"An insane asylum," he mumbled, his eyes softening as he watched me. "Laurence put him in there after it happened. Victor and Rose were going to get married... and Victor accidentally drained her a week before the wedding." Why didn't I kill him? What kind of dream is this? I'm going to wake up... I frowned and rubbed my head before I scooped up my twins and started for the door. "P-Paris," Richard called out quickly, coming after me. "Stop."

"Nu-uh," I told him and walked out the door. "I'm going to find a safe place for them."

"Paris," he begged and grabbed my hand. "Please don't do this." He kissed my cheek and frowned. "They need you. You can't abandon them."

"They're family," I whispered softly. "Sometimes I have to do things."

"Then send me," he whispered. "The children would be heartbroken if you left."

"I'll come home," I promised. "For them."

"This isn't fair to them," he grumbled and squeezed my hand. "What if you die?"

"It's better than you dying," I whispered. He widened his eyes a little then frowned.

"I'd much rather die first," he told me then kissed me. "I promise I'll save Laurence and Louis. Just stay with our children."

"No. You stay with our children. I'll be right back." I gave him the kids then. He widened his eyes and looked at the kids then at me.

"No, you won't," he whispered, a longing look entering his eyes as he watched me. "War isn't resolved overnight." I eyed him over and frowned. He's right about that. Our fighting is taking centuries to get over. I sighed and took the kids obediently. He kissed me softly then ran his fingers through my hair. "I'll take Dante's stone. It might be enough to keep your twin out of danger... and I'll bring it back to you as a gift."

"I don't want to hurt Dante... He's just mad at us for ignoring him." Richard nodded and disappeared from my line of sight. I was suddenly enveloped in darkness before I felt my stone pulse- pulse with something that I hadn't felt in a long time. Richard... the real one....

Terry purred at my side as he kissed my neck then slowly moved away with a small giggle. I could feel my twin had his arms wrapped around my waist from the other side as the cold from the floor pierced the blankets under us and reached our bodies. I sat up quickly and rubbed my chest. "Richard?" I asked quickly and glanced around. Was that him? Terry paused and looked back at me before he frowned and came back to me.

"What were you dreaming about?" He asked me softly then got into my lap, wrapping his arms around my neck.

"Richard," I whispered to him and leaned into his chest. "I thought...." I trailed off and rubbed my chest again.

"You thought he was back?" Terry asked, the frown evident in his voice. "No one has heard anything about him in a long time. He disappeared."

"It's just I thought I felt him nearby," I explained to him. "Maybe it was just Louis." I looked at him and eyed over his chest. He was snoozing away as he stretched out and purred, dreaming about that island he met me on- but this time he wasn't stranded. Terry pouted as he watched me then moved out of my lap.

"Oh good," I heard Edmund's voice sing out as he walked in. "You two are awake... I'm going into town," he told us and smirked. "I've got a late birthday gift to get for Louis." He licked his lips. "I might do some hunting..." He trailed off as he walked back out of the room. Terry watched him go then purred before he got to his feet then stepped over Laurence who had been sleeping on the other side of him.

"Edmund is so sweet to master Louis sometimes," Terry said and giggled.

"Good morning," I heard my sweet sister say from in the hall to Edmund. "Where do you think you're going without saying goodbye?"

"I'm trying to sneak away- shhhh," Edmund told her.

"Edmund," Louis mumbled in his sleep and shut his eyes tighter like he was waking up.

"No," Edmund said quickly and I could hear him running off. Rose giggled as she stepped into the room.

"Hiii, I was thinking about us doing something fun... like a card game." Louis opened his eyes slowly and frowned before he sniffed the air.

"Eddy?" He mumbled and looked around for him, catching his scent. He puffed out his cheeks as he didn't see him and crossed his arms.

"He went to town," I told him and smiled. "He's getting you something."

"Like what?" Louis asked and looked towards me. Terry tackled him then and giggled happily, starting to shower Louis's cheek in kisses. My twin purred and looked at him then kissed Terry's forehead, wrapping his arms around him. I eyed them over before I smirked and stood up slowly. So much for resting.... That wasn't a great dream at all- what a terrible teaser. I rubbed my throat and started for Rose.

"You want to play a card game little sis?" I asked her and wrapped an arm around her waist. "We can do that. We'll play aces." Louis looked towards us then slowly got up with Terry before he carried him off into the kitchen with a hum.

"We'll make breakfast~" He sung out and laughed. "Terry, what do you want for breakfast?"

"Pancakes," Terry purred innocently and rubbed his head against Louis's shoulder as Louis carried him. "Can I have a glass of your blood too?"

"Sure," he whispered as they walked through the door. I heard Laurence starting to stir awake- giving a small purr as I started to get a flash of something strange- a girl that looked like Rose standing with Richard's arms wrapped around her.... I let out a small growl, but things cut off quickly- like Laurence realized he was letting something slip. I heard a few pots and pans bang around before Terry yelped in the kitchen and the scent of his blood filled the air.

"Did you cut your hand on a knife?" Louis asked with concern. "Come here~ I'll clean that up for you." I frowned and teleported into the kitchen.

"Are you okay?" I asked and eyed him over. "Let me." Terry looked towards me as he sniffled, holding his bloody hand then nodded at me.

"O-okay," he whispered and held out his hand towards me. Louis raised an eyebrow then slowly turned back to gathering ingredients, turning his back to us. I slowly took his hand and licked it- healing the cut. Terry gasped and blushed at me as he watched, fidgeting as he curled his fingers. His mind started to wander as his eyes watched me licking up his blood and he bit his bottom lip, his heart racing. I let his hand go when I finished and pulled him into a kiss. He tensed up a little then melted, kissing me back slowly as he wrapped his arms around my neck. I purred and slowly started to dance with him around the room. He giggled and pulled back from the kiss as he looked at me in wonder then smiled at me sweetly as he moved with me, keeping his arms around my neck. I moved him to Louis and snatched him into a dance with us and smirked. Louis laughed and sat a pan down as we passed a counter then gave us a playful look.

"I was going to give you some time to sneak some kisses," he teased me and winked. "I'll dance with you boys though. Edmund doesn't dance with me enough." I smirked as I knocked them both up against a wall and leaned in- giving them both kisses on their cheeks.

"Oh~ Maybe we want to include you," I purred out. Louis laughed and kissed my neck then before he bit in. Terry blushed as he watched us and looked towards the blood dripping down my neck hungrily but hid his fangs as they instinctively exposed themselves. I leaned in and bit down into Terry quickly and gave a loud moan. He gasped and ran his fingers through my hair before he tugged on it then moved closer to me, a small shiver going through him. I felt him kiss my temple sweetly as he curled my hair around his fingers. I pulled away from them and licked my lips clean.

"Louis," I whispered. "I thought- I thought I felt Richard," I whispered to him. "When I was asleep." Louis frowned as he wiped my blood off his lips.

"Richard is nowhere near here. The last anyone really heard of him was Africa," he told me. "We would know if he showed up here in Maine."

"Was it you then?" I asked softly. "Did you feel something?"

"No, not while I was asleep. I was dreaming of the island," he said then purred. "Maybe you felt Terry," he teased me and patted Terry's shoulder, making him blush again.

"Not like I felt it," I mumbled. "Terry isn't a pureblood... This was from my stone pulsing- like someone's stone was calling to mine."

"Unless it was Laurence, no one called to you last night," he told me and frowned. "Richard isn't here though, Paris... and if he was, you don't need to go running off to him. You need to let him come to you this time."

"I wasn't going to run to him, I just thought I would tell you since you are my twin." He nodded then purred.

"I'll have Edmund go around town more with Terry to see if they find anything," he suggested. "He shouldn't be here, but he might have snuck in. Who knows?"

"What if he is?" I asked and felt concerned for him. What if he tries to take Louis from me since I murdered that- that man?

"I'm not afraid of your mate. He'll come to us on his knees or risk getting his stone ripped out," he told me calmly. I nodded and licked my lips.

"Edmund went to town," I whispered. "Maybe we need to go check in on him."

"He'll be fine," Louis said then purred. "I doubt Richard is here. Laurence would have said something, wouldn't he?"

"About Richard being in town?" Laurence asked calmly. "Why would I ruin a surprise?" He stepped into the kitchen and eyed over the room. "Where's your tea?"

"Laurence," Louis grumbled and frowned. "You would tell us if that bastard was in town, wouldn't you? It wouldn't be a nice surprise if he was in town." Louis teleported over to a cabinet and started to get down our carton of tea grams we had. Rose suddenly appeared in the room with a newspaper and slammed it down on the counter.

"I don't have to say anything if it's in the news," Laurence told us as he looked at the newspaper. Rose turned to him with her jaw clenched. Louis frowned and walked over, snatching the newspaper as he started to read it quickly. Terry whined as he watched and frowned. I felt panic rising in me then as I heard Louis's thoughts echo as he read over a headliner- one making it very clear that there was a trail of deaths like a plague running from the south to the north- near us. Louis slowly sat down the newspaper then tsked.

"I'm going to have his head on a platter," he grumbled then clenched his jaw. "That little bastard is coming our way...." He started for the door then. "Time to wake up the army."

"Don't forget me," I said quickly and ran after him. There's no way I'm letting him wake them alone. They're mine too.

"You won't be angry with me when I kill him, will you?" Louis asked me sharply.

"If he's trying to hurt you..." I trailed off and looked at my feet. "I want you."

"I wasn't planning to give him the opportunity," he hissed out. I'll kill him on the spot for killing all those humans on his way up here... and he's going to try something while he's here. I know he will. He's come for Paris... and with our luck, it won't be a friendly visit. I felt my fingers slipping under my shirt then and starting to scratch my shoulder. My heart pounded in my chest as I watched him. I've got to go hide! "I'll give you his broken stone dust in return for what he did to you," he told me and looked at me then frowned, snatching my hand. "I know I told you that if he ever returned and asked for your forgiveness... that you should give him a chance... but he's probably not on his way to beg." I nodded slowly as I watched him.

"I don't know anyone that's ever- ever.... I mean.... Dante lived after his soul mate died..." I trailed off as I fell to my knees and wrapped my arms around me. He watched me then frowned, kneeling in front of me.

"Are you sure you're okay with me killing him?" He asked, his expression softening. "Do you want me to have him brought to you in chains first to give him the opportunity?"

"I don't want him to die," I whispered softly. "I'm not ready for that." He watched me before he frowned.

"I'll wake up the army but keep them downstairs.... We'll keep an eye on his progress up the coast and see where he goes. If he comes here, we'll watch him closely," he suggested. "Do you think he might be coming here on more friendly terms than the last time you saw him? It's only been fifty years."

"I don't know," I whispered. "I know what I want is different from reality." He nodded slowly.

"I'll have him captured," he suggested.

"It's Richard we're talking about... I don't think we'll be able to have him captured."

"He's also never met me," he said and winked with a purr. "I'm a lot stronger than I look. I'll see what we can do. We might not even have to worry about him. He might veer west."

"The papers said north," I mumbled.

"Maybe he wants to go to Canada," he suggested and shrugged. I nodded and rubbed at my chest.

"Maybe," I whispered.

"Louis! COME MAKE ME TEA!" Laurence whined out as he walked up.

"FINE!" Louis shouted and got to his feet, going back into the kitchen. I felt my stone pulse again like it had at the end of my dream, sending a warm, hopeful feeling through me. I purred lightly and blushed. What!? Why! Stop that stone! I grabbed at my chest and fell over, looking up at the ceiling. I ran my fingers across my shoulders and started to scratch them again. I could hear Laurence following Louis. I felt someone sit down by myside before Terry looked down at me and frowned.

"Are you alright?" He asked me and reached over, rubbing my cheek. I looked towards him and nodded.

"Yeah," I mumbled.

"Do... do you miss him?" He asked me and gently took his hand back as he watched me with a soft expression. I sat up slowly and eyed him over.

"He's my soul mate," I whispered. "I don't think I have much of a choice... I do miss him, but I'm scared for us... I really pissed him off."

"O-oh," he mumbled and then rubbed his hand where I had licked him earlier. "I see...." A frown found its way onto his face as he watched me then looked away. I watched him and pulled him to me.

"But he wronged me," I whispered.

"I know," he mumbled then leaned his head against my chest before he sniffled. I just... what if Paris goes back to him?

"So, you do like me," I whispered and smiled. "You never act like you do." He looked up at me and blushed before he touched his lips.

"I'm sorry," he mumbled then hid his face against my chest. "I shouldn't.... You're mated to someone...."

"Hey," I whispered and grabbed his chin. "He left me," I whispered to him and felt my chest swell up. "I know it's hard for me to say... but it's true.... He left me.... and that means I'm free to be with whoever I want... and I wanted you." He blushed and looked at me before he kissed me, moving his arms around my neck. I purred lightly and gave him a small purr. Terry is good for me... He wants me. He pulled back from the kiss slightly and looked at me with a small blush before he leaned in for another kiss and purred. I kissed him back before I let go. I need to stop being worried for right now. It might freak out Terry... He smiled at me then leaned his face into my neck before he bit down and marked me with a soft purr, closing his eyes happily. I gasped and leaned in toward his neck and bit down into him- marking him. He moaned a little and collapsed against my body, pulling his fangs out of my neck as he gripped my shirt and blushed. I gave a small laugh and moved away from him.

"Let's go check in on Laurence and Louis... and Rose," I suggested to him. He looked up at me then purred as he got to his feet and then leaned in, stealing a kiss from me.

"Okay," he purred out then blushed as he playfully tugged on my beltloop then moved away from me, going towards the door. I followed him and smirked as I watched his body. Terry....

Richard's POV:

I winced as I felt my throat burning as I looked around. Maine... I finally reached it. I took a deep breath then looked towards the humans walking along the streets before I glanced around. If I was Paris, where would I put a manor at? I grabbed a human's arm and yanked him to me before I looked at him. "Where's Grimm manor?" I asked him and frowned.

"Grimm manor? Are you sure you want to know?" He asked. "I heard there is a cult there..."

"Yes, I want to know~" I told the man and smirked. "Where is it?"

"It's on the edge of town- with what I know," he explained. "It's north of town." I nodded then teleported with him to an alley I could see nearby and bit into his neck harshly, a moan slipping from me as his blood helped my thirst. He squirmed against me then and let out a scream. "DEMON!"

"Uh-oh," I heard a voice say from at the entrance of the alleyway and footsteps started to back up. I pulled back quickly and snapped the man's neck before I licked my lips and went after the voice. What the hell? Who was that? I caught the glimpse of a coat going around the corner of the entrance- I suddenly caught the scent of Paris going with it. Paris? I teleported to the coat quickly and snatched it, yanking him to me with a purr. Was it really this easy? I found a dark-haired male staring me down with wide eyes. It wasn't Paris... "H-hey... Eat anything good lately?" He asked and sounded nervous. I frowned and leaned in, sniffing his neck then hissed. Paris marked another? I clenched my jaw and glared the man down before I felt my fingers twitch. He... marked... another....

"How fucking could he?" I muttered then felt my fingers wrap around the man's throat. He killed Isaiah for the same reason! He got another mate?! My fingers tightened around his neck as my throat started to burn and my stone pulsed in rage. He widened his eyes and grabbed at my wrist quickly.

"No! Wait! He didn't mark me!" He said quickly. "I'm his twin's! I swear!" I clenched my jaw then and narrowed my eyes.

"His dead twin's? How rich!" I glared him down and threw him up against the wall. He groaned as he hit it.

"Y-yes.... You must be Richard."

"Who else would I fucking be?" I asked and exposed my fangs. "Mate stealer."

"Hey! I don't steal mates! Louis is my only goddess. I don't need another in my bed." He glared me down then. "Don't get all pissed at me because their marks smell similar. They're twins!" I narrowed my eyes at him then bit into his neck harshly, tearing out a chunk. Fucking bastard. That's Paris's mark. He let out a groan and shoved me back before he took off running from me. I snarled and ran after him, tackling him before I smacked him across the cheek.

"Where the hell are you going?" I snarled at him and raked my nails across his cheek. He groaned and looked up at me.

"Away from you! You're mad!" He yelled. I laughed then.

"Mad?! Of course, I'm fucking mad! Paris freaking marked you!" I yelled at him then snarled. Oh, they'll both pay for this. I narrowed my eyes and went for his heart. He smacked my hand quickly.

"Louis isn't dead, he's alive and Paris found us on an island. The one you dumped him on. They're twins and they smell similar, but I am not marked by Paris. Frankly, Paris doesn't want to see you ever again, so leave town. Get out." I growled at him and shoved my hand into his chest. You know what... it might be true that Paris's twin is still alive... but even then... this little ass doesn't tell me what to do. I wrapped my fingers around his heart and glared at him as I showed my fangs off at him. He groaned and grabbed my arm quickly and gave me a begging look. "Richard.... Don't let anger get the best of you," he whispered and gave me a scared look. I narrowed my eyes then ripped his heart out quickly, crushing it in my hand before I got to my feet. I'll find Paris... and I'll find the truth. I clenched my jaw as I watched his body decay then licked my hand clean before I looked up and started to walk north.

Paris's POV:

Louis paced the floor in front of the door with a worried expression as he held his hands behind his back. "It's been too long. He should be home by now.... I feel like something bad happened to my Edmund," he muttered under his breath, looking at the door anxiously. "Why isn't he home yet? It's been a few hours. Eddy...." I frowned as I watched him. He's right... Edmund never leaves the manor this long without us...

"What if...." I trailed off. "Something bad did happen to him? You have the feeling Louis," I whispered.

"I don't know," he said and stopped walking before he collapsed to his knees and started to cry. "He's my mate! I turned him! He's mine! Paris, what will I do if he doesn't come home?" He said and whimpered. "I need him...." I frowned as I watched him.

"Louis," I said softly. "He's going to come home," I whispered to give him hope. He looked at me and rubbed at one of his eyes.

"What if he doesn't? Paris... I can't lose him," he whispered. "I can't lose another one.... I lost Javier... and now Edmund is missing... and I have this horrible gut feeling that he isn't coming home!"

"Louis... things will be ok. They always turn out," I promised. He whimpered and leaned his head against the ground.

"What if they-" I suddenly felt my stone pulse again like before, Richard's scent lingering in the air like he was nearby. Louis tensed a bit on the ground before he slowly sat up and looked towards the door. I looked at the door and tensed up before I backed up from it quickly. The door was suddenly kicked open, Richard's familiar frame in the doorway as he came in- pissed looking. His eyes locked onto mine before his eyes softened a little, but they were suddenly torn from me as he looked behind me, a snarl escaping him as I caught Terry's scent.

"W-who's that?" I heard Terry whisper.

"Terry," I whispered and backed up to him. "That's Richard," I told him as I grabbed his hand and teleported him downstairs and pushed him into a coffin with one of the newborns and closed him in it before I teleported back upstairs and grabbed Louis's hand.

"Who... the hell... was that?" Richard hissed and walked towards me, locking onto my eyes as he exposed his fangs.

"None of your business," I hissed at him and pulled Louis into my arms. Louis tensed then yanked away from me, going after Richard with a snarl. Richard looked at Louis then threw him towards the wall as Louis got close enough. He was suddenly in front of me before he paused, and I felt his stone pulse longingly. His anger seemed to fade as he caught my scent. I eyed him over before I frowned and backed away from him slowly as my eyes looked back at Louis. "Are you ok?" I asked him. Louis groaned from the floor and tried to sit up but fell over with a sharp yelp. Richard clenched his jaw before he glanced back at Louis then looked at me. I suddenly felt his hand in chest as the world went dark, yanking my stone out as he gave a shaky breath.

~~~
I woke up to the sounds of a piano playing in the room, a soft cushion underneath my head. Richard's scent filled the room as the wonderful music I hadn't heard in a long time echoed around me just like that day when I walked into his music room. I opened my eyes slowly as I felt panic rising in me. I-I'm not dead? I heard a soft purr then as Richard struck a chord on the piano, sending a small shiver through me. I slowly sat up- trying not to make a sound. He stopped playing and looked back at me with a loving look and watched me. "Paris," he murmured softly then turned around on the piano bench. "You're awake," he said, sounding relieved to see I was moving. I tensed up as I watched him.
"Y-yes," I whispered and blushed. He bit his bottom lip then before he slowly got to his feet and came over, kneeling in front of where I was sitting. I noticed that the demonic looks had faded from him a little, still having traces here and there on him, but he smelled a lot better than the last time I had seen him in Africa.
"How do you feel?" He asked me softly and looked me over with slight concern. I eyed him over cautiously before I nodded a little.
"Fine," I told him and moved away from him slightly. He noticed and frowned but didn't move to get closer.
"I'm... really sorry," he whispered and looked up into my eyes. He swallowed nervously as he watched me and shifted his weight on his knees. "I know you don't want to hear my apologies... but I have to say them." I eyed him over and nodded slightly but felt my yes slowly widen. He tensed as he watched me then took a deep breath and shakily ran his fingers through his hair. "I'm so sorry, Paris. I shouldn't have done what I did.... It was wrong... and I should have never made you get to the point that you were afraid to tell me anything," he whispered and looked up at me. "I should have considered you more...."
"I wasn't scared.... I was wanting to make sure it would get done and you wouldn't say no to the idea of doing it," I mumbled. He watched me and frowned before he nodded.
"I should have never gotten so bad when I had you," he mumbled and locked onto my eyes. "I... I should have let myself be cleansed for you instead of being concerned about what I wanted." I nodded as I watched him. T-This is my Richard... He looked up at me and furrowed his eyebrows. "I... I should have never gone to Africa.... I'm so sorry for what I've done to you." He trembled a little then and clenched his hands. "I've been awful to you. I'm such a horrible mate to you." I nodded a little as I watched him. "I want to be a better one and make up for what I did," he whispered and moved one of his hands closer to me, resting it on the cushion by me. "I... I feel so awful for what I've done for you... and the life I tore apart for us... and it's taken me so long to realize it," he said and I saw his eyes tear up a little as he watched me. "I'm so sorry," he whispered as his stone pulsed, searching for mine. I watched him for a few minutes before I grabbed his hand.
"You look like you've cut down on blood binging," I whispered to him. He nodded then.
"I-I have," he admitted to me.
"I can tell," I purred out and gave him a small smile. He watched me then gave a soft smile back.
"Play with me?" He asked me and gave my hand a squeeze, a hopeful look entering his eyes. I glanced around us then.
"Where are we?" I asked and looked around for Louis.
"Canada," he told me then bit his bottom lip as he got to his feet and looked down at me, holding my hand still.
"Canada!?" I asked and stood up quickly. "Why are we in Canada!"
"I thought it would be easier to talk to you and..." He hesitated for a moment and looked me up and down. "I was wondering... that if maybe you would forgive me... if you were still interested in children," he whispered. "I know you wanted children before I left... and I think that maybe it would help repair our relationship." He squeezed my hand then. I raised an eyebrow before I felt a little scared that he forgot to dress me, and I looked down at myself quickly. I saw I was dressed in a cute lacey nightgown that showed off my new set of curves nicely, the fabric silky looking. He watched me closely, lacing his fingers with mine. I eyed over my nightgown curiously. This is almost feminine looking... Almost... At least he put me in something. "Paris..." he whispered as he watched me and frowned. "Are you okay?" Has he not noticed I changed his gender? Wha-What? I felt my heart race as I widened my eyes.
"NO!" I yelled as I yanked at the collar and looked down at my body... I'm.... "I'm- I'm a girl!" I yelled and fell back onto the couch. He sat down quickly beside me on the couch and frowned.
"Paris," he said and then looked at me. He hesitated before he leaned in and bit into my neck, quickly marking me. I moaned and felt my body heating up everywhere. I bit my bottom lip hard and tensed up a little before I melted and felt my head get a little lightheaded. He moved closer to me then wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close before he bit down into my shoulder and marked me again. I felt his stone pulse strongly in his chest, calling out for mine as he gave a soft moan at the taste of my blood. I felt my stone pulsing back to his as I moved into his lap slowly and gripped his shirt. He pulled his fangs out from my neck and looked towards my lips longingly before he kissed me passionately and rubbed the small of my back. I tensed up against his lips slightly as I felt mine tingle before I leaned into the kiss quickly. He moaned and moved my back up against the couch and hovered over me as he deepened the kiss and licked my bottom lip. Paris~ My sweet Paris~ I pulled away from the kiss and eyed him over. Wait.... What was he saying? Something.... About kids? I widened my eyes and blushed.
"Richard," I mumbled. He watched me and frowned, licking his lips then looked down into my eyes.
"What?" He whispered, his eyes traveling to my lips longingly as his stone pulsed, missing mine.
"What- were you saying?" I asked him softly. He sat up a little and looked at me.
"I was saying... that we should have a baby," he told me and then shifted nervously. "You wanted one before I left... and I think it would help us.... I want to be with you again. I want to be a better mate for you."
"A baby?" I asked softly and blushed. I've been wanting one for a very long time.... I started to tear up then at the thought and held back a smile. "A-are you sure?" He nodded and purred at me before he leaned in again and paused above my lips.
"If you'll have me," he murmured, his eyes lingering on mine.
"You mean.... I can have a kid now and.... and you're sure- that you still love me?" I asked softly and eyed him over. "You're not going to leave me?"
"I won't ever leave you again," he promised and looked me firmly in the eyes as his filled with pure love. "We can have a baby~" I eyed him over cautiously.
"Kids will tie us together for a very long time," I told him softly.
"I was thinking the same thing," he murmured and gave me a small kiss. "I want this...." I eyed him over and looked towards his lips longingly. I want this too... I've wanted this for so long.... A mate that would come back to me. I gave him a huge smile and got a little nervous then. But did I really think it through about kids? I'm a- a girl. He watched me and gave me another kiss before he purred. "Will you let me make it up to you?" He asked me and kissed my neck.
"Yes," I purred out and felt my heart racing. "I want kids." He nodded then picked me up off the couch before he kissed my lips again and started to carry me towards the door with a loud purr.
"I love you," he told me and stole another kiss. I gasped and went to move out of his arms.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To the bedroom," he said and held me firmly in his arms as he laughed and kissed my neck happily.
"Wait- Wait- I don't know about this... Will it hurt?" I asked and blushed.
"I don't think it would hurt any more than it originally did," he told me and purred, giving me another kiss. "I'll be gentle with you."
"You're not gentle," I husked out and gasped.
"You're right about that," he teased me and nipped at my ear. "I'll let you get used to it first," he promised and purred as he carried me down a small hallway into a master bedroom. I blushed as I glanced around the bedroom before I looked at him.
"Richard...." I trailed off. "What if you be the girl? It's not too late."
"I already made you the girl though," he purred out and gave me another kiss. "Don't be nervous. You'll be okay. I'm not going to hurt you... and if you really want, I can let you on top so you can do it at your own pace for your first time as a girl."
"No.... I don't want to be on top," I mumbled and blushed. I'm not even sure what I have now... I don't know where my manhood went to... He purred at me then kissed my lips quickly as he laid me down on the bed and got over me.
"You'll be okay," he promised me then kissed my neck. "You'll like it... and when you're carrying our baby, you'll be so happy~" I nodded and purred at the thought of a baby. I want one just like in my dream. He looked at me then gave me a loving purr before he slipped his shirt off and tossed it off the bed, showing off his familiar chest to me and his firm, sexy stomach I haven't seen in so long. He went for a kiss and ran his fingers down to my sides, running them over the lacey gown I had on. I eyed over his body and ran my fingers across his chest. He kissed me and pulled back as he went towards my neck and bit down, marking me again as he dug his fangs in deep. I moaned and threw my head back a little before I ran my fingers through my hair and gasped as I felt my fingers going on and on through long white hair. I pulled it to where I could see it and blushed. He looked at me with a playful expression then laughed before he nipped at my nose but didn't draw blood. He looked my body over curiously then started to tug the night gown up, revealing a small pair of lacey panties. He hooked his finger in the top of them and started to tug them down. I watched him and felt my breath catch.
"I'm going to be ok," I mumbled. Richard looked up at me then gave me a small kiss to calm me as he slipped them down my legs and tossed them off the bed before he took my night gown off, leaving me bare against the sheets. I grabbed the blanket quickly and yanked it onto me and blushed. He laughed a little then smirked.
"Paris, you can't get pregnant if you're hiding from me," he teased me and kissed my cheek. "I can take off a few more layers to make you more comfortable~ or you can take them off me." I eyed him over and felt my heart race. He's going to get even more naked! I widened my eyes slightly before I blushed and let the blanket go. I've been with him before- I need to stop this... He watched me then moved the blanket aside before he kissed me again. "Calm down. You're going to be okay," he promised me and then pushed his pants down, taking them off. "You were nervous the first time we did it as males, remember? You liked it though." I nodded and bit my bottom lip. It's been a long time since I've been with him though. What if he's totally different in bed? I eyed his bare chest over and ran my fingers across it. He purred as he watched me and laid down beside me, pulling me close as he started to gently kiss my neck. Maybe I should let him get used to the idea of lying beside me as a female.... He looks so nervous.... I blushed and ran my fingers through his hair then and smelled him- moaning at his scent.
"Richard," I mumbled and gave him a small kiss on his lips. He kissed me back eagerly, deepening it as he moved my body closer to his and moaned. I eyed him over before I ran my fingers down to his underwear and started to push them down. He let me then kissed my neck before he headed for my sensitive spot, remembering where it was and started to suck on it as he moved over me slowly. I moaned and let him get back on me. He started to trail kisses down my neck then purred.
"Are you ready to be a mommy?" He teased me. I nodded quickly and gave an excited gasp.
"Yeah," I told him and bit my bottom lip. He smirked before he kissed me and brought me closer, beginning a wonderful night where he was finally mine again- my Richard~
