Chapter 48 - C46| Early Temptations

Continuation of Kasai Hachirobei's POV:

I eyed over my bedroom door as I heard it creaking open a little and trembled. My father's shadowy body stepped into the room then. His heavy footsteps were coming for me. I trembled and threw the blanket over my head with the candle under there with me. I saw his shadow luminating over me through the blanket. I let out a scream then and trembled. He's here again! He's here again!!!! "HE'S HERE!" I screamed in fear and started to rock my body. I felt Haru stir beside me before he wrapped his arms around me and knocked me over on the bed, curling up on top of me with a soft purr. I sniffled and buried my face against him. "He's here," I cried out to him and trembled. I sniffled and watched as the candle got smothered out by the blanket. I saw his figure standing over us through the blanket and felt fear flooding over me as he just stood there. He kissed my neck softly as he ran his fingers down my shirt.

"Hachi~ No one is here~ It's just us," he mumbled tiredly. "Hold me...." I sniffled and gripped his shirt.

"Daddy is here," I whined out to him and trembled as I watched his dark figure through the blanket. "You don't see him?" I asked. He looked towards the blanket then shook his head.

"Nuh-uh," he told me then kissed my cheek before he giggled. "There's no one there, bubba~ Don't be so scared! I'm here with you," he purred sweetly then nuzzled his head against my chest. "That's what twins are for~"

"You didn't hear the door open?" I asked him and pointed to it. "He opened it and he's right there!" He looked towards the door then frowned as he peaked out from under the blanket.

"But it's not open.... How about this~ I'll light us some candles around the room and we can sleep with them lit," he told me then winked. I whined and shook my head.

"He's right there," I mumbled as I eyed over the figure then at the door- but frowned when I saw it was shut. I looked back and saw the figure was gone. I started to cry then. "He was right there," I told him. He looked down at me and frowned worriedly before he licked my cheek and licked the tears off my cheek before he kissed me.

"It's alright bubba," he told me quickly and rubbed my chest with his hand soothingly. I nodded before I hid my face against him and closed my eyes- trying to relax as I closed my eyes to get some sleep. He rubbed my cheek as he kissed the other one lightly a few times, humming in my ear as he stayed on top of me to comfort me. I felt my body easing into sleep then to the sound of his voice humming in my ear...

I opened my eyes as light started to shine onto them- forcing me to wake up. I moved Haru off me so I could sit up and I rubbed my head. I looked around the bedroom before I got to my feet slowly and slipped into my bedroom slippers. I walked out of the bedroom then and towards the kitchen to go get a glass of water. I sniffed the air curiously- wondering if Koto was making breakfast or if Saki would be already. I couldn't smell either of them, probably still asleep or in their rooms getting ready. I got my glass of water and brought it back to my room and nudged Haru awake.

"Hey, get out of my room before Koto catches you in here," I told him softly. He whined and curled up to my pillow quickly, smelling it before he buried his face into it.

"Nuh-uh... I don't wanna leave you," he whimpered and then clutched it.

"Don't be bad," I warned him. "We won't get a caramel." He groaned and turned away from me with the pillow.

"You're no fun anymore," he whined.

"I am too," I giggled out to him before I sat the water down and crawled into bed with him and got on him. I kissed his cheek then. He giggled and kissed my cheek back before he wrapped his arms around me in excitement.

"I love you, bubba," he purred out and pulled me close.

"I love you too," I purred out to him and giggled. I crawled back out of bed then and started to get dressed for the day. He watched me and pouted as he went back under the blankets and curled up, throwing them over his head. "Haru," I whined out. I pouted at him as I got finished getting dressed. "Go get ready."

"I just wanna run around in my PJs with you all day and lounge around the house and play sailors," he murmured.

"You're going to get us in trouble," I warned him. He whined and looked out from under the blanket, glancing towards me before he huffed and slowly got out of the bed and trudged towards the door as he hung his head. I giggled as I watched him and walked after him since I was ready for the day. I followed him to his room then. I made sure to be quiet so Koto wouldn't notice. He went into his closet and stretched as he looked through his clothes then got down a few things. He stripped quickly then put his clothes on before he came out then looked at me before he ran his fingers through his hair and puffed out his cheeks. I giggled as I eyed him over before I walked up to him and wrapped him up in my arms.

"Sailors?" I asked softly. He looked at me then kissed my cheek quickly.

"Sailors~" he whispered then jumped up into my arms, making me carry him as he giggled and wrapped his arms around my neck. I giggled and carried him to the living room and sat him down on the couch and giggled as I crawled onto it.

"I'm ship captain!" I told him. He nodded then kissed my cheek before he saluted me.

"Aye, aye cap'n," he said and giggled. "Where shall we sail today?"

"To the sky," I told him and pointed up to it. "We'll sail with the clouds until it's stars out then we'll land ahoy on one of them." He widened his eyes then nodded quickly.

"Yes sir! To the sky!" He laughed happily and started to make breezy noises as he pretended to hoist up a sail. I giggled as I got ahold of a pillow to use to sail with as my imagination kicked in.

"Are you two really playing that this early?" I heard Koto groan before he eyed the two of us over then looked at Haru hungrily, his eyes lingering on his neck as Haru froze up.

"Yeah," I told Koto and giggled as I looked at him. "I bet you played like this too with Kori," I teased him.

"No, we played... other games. We played tigers," he muttered and then walked towards the kitchen, tearing his eyes off Haru. "You'll eventually grow out of it."

"I bet not~ You always roared at Kori when he was around," I mumbled.

"And then he became my dinner," he said sharply as he went into the kitchen and shut the door. Haru flinched then sniffled as he watched the door and teared up.

"He didn't mean it like that... He's just a little upset that Kori died is all," I told him softly. "I wouldn't eat you," I promised him. He looked at me then tackled me into a hug, burying his face into me.

"Please don't ever eat me," he begged. "I don't know what I'd do if the only one I love like this tried to kill me!"

"You'd die," I whispered to him in a teasing tone. He whimpered then shoved me away before he got up quickly and threw the pillow at me.

"I'll run away from you and never come back," he told me then sniffled before he started to run back to the hallway.

"H-Haru?" I asked and went after him. "Haru! I'm not going to eat you!" I promised. He yelped as he tripped then curled up on the ground, balling up. I walked up to him and knelt down over him- watching him. "Why are you afraid of me?" I asked. "I'm your twin. Quit being a sissy." He looked up at me then blushed.

"I'm not a sissy.... I just want to live...."

"I know you do, and you will," I told him and tsked. I stood up then and walked back to the couch and sat down on it. "I wouldn't hurt you..." He looked towards me and slowly sat up, watching me.

"You ate the others though," he whispered and nervously rubbed his cheek. "You swear you wouldn't eat me? You love me?"

"I love you," I told him and smiled. "I only ate them because they were dead," I told him and shrugged. "I love you though." He blushed then ran over to me before he jumped into my lap and wrapped his arms around my neck. He kissed my cheek and curled up to me with a sweet look.

"My sweet twin~" I giggled and wrapped him up in my arms before I looked at the kitchen. I pushed him out and ran for the kitchen then to go see what Koto was doing. He was making himself a pot of coffee, staring at the water as it boiled. He fidgeted then moved away from it before he went to the refrigerator and pulled out a heart from a container in it then started to munch on it raw as he slowly came back over to his coffee. I watched him and frowned before I walked over to him and grabbed his arm.

"Koto, are you making breakfast this morning?" I asked softly. He pulled his arm away from me then.

"No, I have to go to town to work," he told me. "Ask Saki if she doesn't leave.... You might have to just make something yourself or eat it raw." I nodded and then sighed. I guess I could cook... I looked at the kitchen then and eyed things over before I walked into the pantry. I grabbed a sack of rice and brought it out then grabbed a bottle of soy sauce and sat them on the counter to make for me and Haru. He eyed me over then smirked as his eyes lingered over my neck like he had done to Haru earlier before he took a big bite out of the heart and swallowed the piece whole. I watched him before I started a pot of water.

"HARU! COME MAKE BREAKFAST WITH ME!" He giggled and rushed in, running over to me then got a spoon and looked at the pot in excitement as he saw the rice. I giggled and kissed his cheek before I looked in the fridge and got out the stored meat and brought it over to cook for us. I placed it down on the counter and started to chop it up as I got a pan ready on the stove to cook it on. He glanced at the meat then looked towards Koto sharply before he glanced at me as he got the rice on the stove and started to cook it.

"Can I just have rice?" He asked me innocently. "I want to save my meat for later...."

"No, it's going to go bad if we don't eat it now," I told him and eyed him down. He better not be doing this right now in front of Koto. He knows better. He blushed then nodded.

"Mkay," he murmured and went back to stirring it. Koto took another bite of the heart and watched Haru for a few minutes before he took his pot off the stove and went to the sink to finish making his coffee. I finished cutting the meat and looked at the spices we had on the counter and grabbed one- spicing up the meat for Haru. I placed it on the pan then and grabbed a wooden spoon to cook with. I saw his mouth watering as he looked at the meat, smelling the spices I had put on it. I smiled softly at him as I watched him. He blushed and glanced at me before he stirred the rice some more. Koto snuck up behind me and stole a piece of the raw meat then chewed on it, giving a small moan as he walked off with his cup of coffee. I watched him before I went back to cooking the meat. I looked over at the rice and then stirred it. Haru stepped back to watch then climbed up onto the counter, starting to kick his feet. Saki came in quickly and looked around before she tsked.

"Darn, he's already outside," she muttered then left. "KOTO! I'M GOING WITH YOU INTO TOWN!" I watched her before I looked at Haru and frowned.

"Who said you could get up there?" I asked him.

"I did," he said sweetly and giggled. "It's fun up here~" I puffed out my cheeks as I watched him.

"Koto will get you if he sees you there," I teased him.

"He's gone~" He told me and kicked his legs happily. "It's just you and me here!"

"Maybe I'll get you," I teased him and leaned in- smelling him. He giggled and pulled away from me.

"Nuh-uh~ You're not going to get me." I frowned at him before I went back to cooking.

"Don't talk about not eating meat around Koto," I warned him. "Talk to me about it when he's not around." He blushed a little then.

"All I meant by it was I was in the mood for plain white rice with soy sauce," he whispered. "Though the meat does smell... delicious," he mumbled and eyed the meat over as he blushed as he watched it like he was in a daze. I laughed softly as I watched him before nodding and forced a bite into his mouth. He gasped and tensed before he melted and let out a small moan, chewing on it slowly as he closed his eyes. I watched him approvingly before I finished making the food- dumping soy sauce onto the rice and then the meat. I separated it into two bowls and gave him one before I took mine to the table and sat down- eating it. He brought it over to me and sat down with his bowl then dug in quickly, eating it hungrily. He leaned his head over the bowl as he ate, exposing his neck and his shoulders to me a little as he moaned. I finished off my bowl quickly and looked at him in wonder before smirking. He took his last couple of bites and chewed it slowly before he swallowed it and moaned again as he leaned back in his seat and rubbed his stomach, pleased. I smirked at him before I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. He looked at me then squeezed my hand as he giggled then moved into my lap, kissing my cheek. I purred to him lightly before I eyed him over and smelled him. He giggled and shied away a little before he hid his face against my shoulder and purred at me. I purred back lightly before wrapping him up into my arms tightly. I glanced at the empty bowls before I moved him out of my lap and got up. He watched me and giggled before he started to sing under his breath and got to his feet, bouncing off towards the door. I eyed him over before I followed him and giggled.

"We have the whole house to ourselves... What should we do today?" I asked him.

"Stitch," he said quickly and looked at me as he pulled out a needle and thread. "Teach me again~"

"You know now," I told him and smirked. "We can do it, though...." I followed him then. "Go get something to stitch up." He ran up to me and stole my shirt quickly before he giggled and took off with it into the living room. I frowned and followed him. That's my shirt! He sat down on the couch and looked the shirt over in concentration, holding the needle towards the top of it as he stuck his tongue out. After a few minutes of trying, the needle twitched then finally began to move with his magic, slowly stitching my name into my shirt as he stared at it. I watched him as I sat down next to him. "Be careful, don't hurt yourself," I warned him. He blushed and bit his bottom lip as he got to the letter 'a' in Hachi. I giggled as I watched him.

When he finished, he passed it back to me and wiped at the sweat on his forehead then blushed at me. "Is it good?" He asked me then played with his shirt nervously.

"Yeah," I told him and put my shirt back on. "Good job not getting yourself with the needle. I'm impressed." He giggled and kissed my cheek.

"I impressed you?" He asked sweetly and bounced a little as he looked at the shirt on me. I nodded and smiled at him.

"Let's go swim at the lake," I told him and looked outside in the backyard where the lake was. He nodded then got to his feet then ran towards the door.

"Mkay~ Let's go!" He smiled happily and opened it. "Lakey, lake, lake~" I followed him and then started running for the lake.

"RACE YOU TO THE DOCK!" I yelled at him as I took off for it. He squealed and ran after me quickly but as soon as he overtook me and got on the dock, he yelped and fell into the lake as he tripped. I laughed and ran up to him before I jumped in after him. I giggled as I splashed him when he came back up. He gasped then splashed me before he came over to me and kissed my cheek then gave a sweet growl in my ear. I giggled and kissed him back before I started to swim with him- pulling him with me as I grabbed his hand. He kept up with me and looked around happily before he sunk down under the water to swim below the surface. I followed him and giggled as I felt a fish nibble at my toes. I swam up the surface quickly and looked across the lake to the shore to see a pack of wolves drinking by the water's edge. I froze up quickly as I saw them and gasped. He came up and tensed as he saw the wolves then gripped my hand tightly as he sunk down to his chin and blushed as he watched in awe. I giggled a little as I pulled him close to me and continued watching them. They didn't seem to notice us- or wasn't bothered by us. He swam us a little closer to them and blushed as we stayed a few feet out in the water from them but were close enough to see their pretty eyes as they drank. They're too big to be normal wolves... I eyed them over and leaned in.

"I think they're werewolves," I told him.

"Werewolves?!" He asked in amazement then giggled, looking at them in excitement. "Can I pet one of you?" He asked innocently, giving them a cute smile. I watched as a few of them looked at us before a much bigger wolf walked up and gave us an amused look. I noticed quickly it was a male right before he sat down. I slowly moved us out of the water- watching as they all let us be around them. I reached out and touched the big one and rubbed his head. He leaned in and smelled me then- knocking me onto my back. Haru giggled as he watched and stood beside him, rubbing behind the wolf's ear as he moved closer to him. He growled a little as he looked over his pack and they all raised their ears before coming up to us- circling us and smelling us. I giggled as one of them licked me. Haru giggled as he started to pet a few of the others and squirmed when one licked him. He sat down at their feet and leaned up to rub under their chins with a delighted look. I watched as they all laid down near us. Some kept their eyes on us while others kept a look out. I watched as they all looked in a new direction as a group of deer ran through the forest near us. They all looked excited but stayed by us. I guess we're more interesting. Haru curled up against one's chest and started to give him all his attention as he laid his head against his fur and rubbed his chin with a sweet smile. I giggled and leaned against one of them as I grew attached to its warm fur. I looked up at the sky and let out a sigh as my eyes started to grow heavy. This is a perfect time for a nap.... Haru slowly climbed onto one of the wolf's backs and giggled as he rubbed behind its ears and kissed the top of its head. I watched him and giggled before I felt something shifting as I was suddenly on one of their backs. Wait- what?! I glanced around then and watched as they all stood up and started to follow the big one into the woods.

"We can't go," I whispered and sat up but fell over quickly on its back as he knocked me down with its movements. Haru clung to his wolf as he watched with wide eyes and looked back at the lake with a worried look.

"H-hey, our home is that way," he told the wolf quickly. "We can't leave it!" I nodded in agreement.

"We can't go too far, ok?" I asked them worriedly. "We have to go back home, or our siblings will be worried." I heard a wolf growl at me playfully as they started to speed up as a pack. Haru yelped and buried his face into his wolf's fur innocently. I blushed and glanced around to try to keep up with where we were going in case, I needed to find our way back later. Haru went to slip off, but he was quickly moved back on as the wolf nudged him onto his back to keep him there. My twin blushed and squirmed a little then clung to him. I giggled as all the wolves seemed to speed up then. I looked at Haru. "They're taking us on an adventure!" Haru looked towards me then giggled as he relaxed.

"Really? It's just an adventure?" He asked innocently then rubbed his wolf's head, earning a playful sneeze.

"Well yeah," I told him and giggled.... I just told them we couldn't go far... They'll take us back. I giggled again and looked around in interest as we ran up to a big open manor that had a few people outside it along with other wolves. I eyed it over in awe. Whoa! Haru looked at it and shrunk down as he watched in amusement then giggled as he leaned his head against the wolf's neck.

"Where are we~?" The big wolf in the front shifted suddenly into a man as he turned to look at us.

"Welcome to our home," he told us and gave us a sweet smile. Two females ran up and helped him into a robe- where he tied it.

"Your home?" Haru asked and sat up as the wolves came to a stop. He looked at the man then giggled. "It's so pretty~!" I nodded in agreement.

"You think so?" He asked us and looked amused. I nodded again and giggled. I slipped off the wolf next to me and stood up. I stumbled a bit to catch my balance and looked around at the wolves around me. Haru got off then ran up to the man, tugging on his rope as he looked past him curiously.

"Does the whole pack live here?" He asked eagerly. "Can I get them? Pwease!"

"Yes," the man told him. "We all live here." He rubbed his head then. I walked up and giggled as he suddenly rubbed my head. "I think you two should meet my daughters," he told us.

"Your daughters?" Haru asked and looked up at him then giggled. "Mkay~ do they like playing games?"

"Oh, they love games," he told us and then looked at the pack behind us. "Go hunting and run a border patrol," he instructed them. I heard a howl break off from them as they took off back into the woods. He started to escort us by our backs into the manor then as his hands stayed on our backs. I giggled as I looked out at the pack- watching them disappear. Haru looked around in awe and let himself be led without much of a fuss before he looked up at the man and gave him a sweet smile.

"What's a border patrol?" He asked curiously and then nuzzled his head against the man's arm.

"We circle our territory and mark it and make sure there isn't any intruders or unwanted guests," he told us as he glanced around.

"GIRLS!" He yelled out for them. I blushed then at the thought. Wait.... why'd we come here? Why am I being introduced to his daughters? Haru giggled and looked around expectantly before a few girls came running up to him with small, playful growls at each other. He purred in excitement as he watched and squirmed.

"Hachi, Hachi," he called out for me then reached for my hand. I giggled and shook my head as I watched them in awe. I suddenly felt the man's hand push me to Haru anyways and into the girl group. I tensed up in fear as I saw them. G-girls... Haru looked at them innocently then gave them sweet smiles, making one of them growl at him as she eyed him over like he was meat. He blushed and shrunk back from her sheepishly only to have another girl giggle at him before she came up and sniffed at me. I tensed up quickly- watching as one looked at us in awe.

"Whoa what are they?" She asked and giggled. Another gave Haru a kiss suddenly on his cheek.

"They're wizards," he told them. "I found them and brought them home."

"Are we keeping them daddy?" The girl who smelled me asked and looked at him in excitement. She looked to be the youngest with dark black hair that reminded me of the night sky. I blushed quickly.

"I- we have to go home today," I told her. I watched as they giggled at something their dad done behind our backs.

"Okay daddy," the girl said and then sniffed me again before she giggled and sniffed Haru, making him giggle as she got near one of his ticklish spots. The girl who had eyed him over like a piece of meat smirked then eyed us both over before she walked over to her dad and started to talk to him excitedly. I tilted my head before I caught the other two looking jealous and grabbed Haru to steal him but then started a tug- of war with him. I frowned as I watched them before looking at the girl that was talking excitedly with her dad. "Psst, so who gets to have one?" She asked and blushed, whispering to him quietly. I could barely hear her. I frowned.

"Have what?" I asked to start a conversation as I turned my attention fully to them.

"That'll be decided upon popularity between them." She nodded then giggled.

"Mkay daddy~" She ran up to me then grabbed my hand before she yanked me closer and smelled me. "You smell like the lake...."

"I was in it," I told her and blushed as I smelled her. "You smell like earth and like puppies," I told her and giggled.

"I play with puppies while the mothers are busy," she told me then gave a playful growl. "They call me auntie~" The black-haired girl looked at her then and growled.

"Stuff it," she growled out then yanked Haru into her arms, holding him tightly. He gasped and squirmed a little before he blushed.

"Hey!" A red-haired girl yelled and then snatched Haru back. "I want him." She looked at the other three before growling. "Fight over him."

"B-but I want him," the other red-haired girl said. They almost looked like twins- maybe they were just similar in age. Haru blushed and tried to get out of her arms.

"H-hey! I wanna play a game," he whined and looked at the four girls. "Please?"

"Great! We can play keep away," the black-haired girl said and smirked, snatching Haru. "Mine now girlies!"

"Why don't we play a game," I mumbled. "What do you do for fun?" I asked them. "We like to play sailors."

"We play hunters and prey," the one who had been talking to her father earlier told me and smirked. "Want to play?"

"O- okay," I told her and giggled. "I want to be a hunter though," I told her. "Haru will be prey. You can be a hunter with me, and the others should be prey. We'll have more fun that way. What's the prize if we catch prey?" I asked curiously.

"We get their dessert... or we make them do something silly after we catch them," she told me and smirked before she ran her fingers through her brown hair then gave the other girls a growl. They yelped then giggled, taking off running as they dragged Haru with them. I giggled and looked at her.

"Do we run after them now or wait?" I asked in excitement. "Haru and I might find this our favorite game and play it when we go home." She smirked and waited a few seconds then gave a growl.

"Now we go," she told me then started to run after them, making the girls squeal as they saw her moving after them. "Come on! Let's round them up!" I giggled and ran after them quickly- sticking my hands out to catch one. They split up and ran off quickly, the little black-haired girl snatching Haru with her as the other two ran in the opposite direction. Haru yelped as they went down a hall, their feet echoing sharply against the ground. She ran after the red heads and giggled, leaving me to get the others. I giggled as I chased after Haru- eyeing him over as I made grabbing hand motions. I'll capture him and make him give me a kiss! They suddenly went into a room and slammed the door shut in my face, giggling as I heard them rushing to the other side of the room and a window opening. I giggled as I ran up to the door and tugged on the door handle to open it and went inside.

"Haru!" I called out to him. He'll be mine! The girl shoved him out the window, making him yelp as I heard him thud outside on the ground. She gave me a playful growl and smirked at me as she tilted her head up, the he's-mine look written all over her face before she jumped out the window smugly. I frowned and ran up to the window quickly and looked out at them. "Are you okay?" I saw them one story down from me, and Haru was just sitting up before the girl suddenly shifted and bit into his shirt, yanking him with her as she started to drag him. He yelped then giggled, following her as she dragged him towards the woods. I gasped and shook my head no. "Haru!" I called out to him. What if he gets lost in the woods and a witch eats him in a house made of candy?! He looked back towards me and stopped, giving me a sweet, loving smile before he giggled and looked down at her. He rubbed her head, watching as her tail started to wag and she gave a firm tug on his shirt again. I eyed them over before I eyed over the jump and backed away from the window in fear. I'm not jumping out of that! They're crazy! I ran out of the room then and looked around as I ran for a way, I thought would lead me outside and to Haru. I eventually found it and made it to where they had run off, catching their scent relatively easy. They had lingered for a few minutes where I had left them, probably playing with each other before she had chased him off into the woods surrounding the manor. I frowned and ran towards the woods then. Oh no! Haru went into the woods... Without me!

"Haru!" I called out for him and rubbed at my eyes. I don't want him to get hurt.... I lost their scent suddenly, their trail disappearing from my senses as the sound of birdsong filled my ears. They're gone.... I eyed over the woods before I started to cry and fell to my knees. Oh no! A bird got them! What if a dragon did!? I'LL NEVER FIND HARU NOW! I felt an acorn hit me in the head then before there was a gasp and a few leaves fell around me. I frowned and looked up slowly. "H-haru?" I asked softly. I spotted him up in the tree above me, squirming as he was trying to get away from the girl who was back in her human form naked. She was giving a small growl in his ear as she went to kiss his cheek, making him blush a deep shade of red. I frowned and got to my feet quickly before I started up the tree to get them- going as quick as I could. They're gonna get it now! I've found them. He squealed as he saw me coming then reached for a branch above him.

"No! He saw us! You made him see us!" He said and blushed, trying to get up further in the tree. She looked towards me and gave a growl as she protectively moved between me and Haru and guarded him as he got in the branch above her. I giggled and then captured her leg before I climbed up onto the same branch and got his.

"Caught you," I told them proudly. She whined then.

"No fair! You're not supposed to climb the tree," she told me and kicked at my hand a little. "You're going to make us do something silly, aren't you?!" Haru blushed and curled up on his branch, clinging to it as he grew still, and his eyes lingered on my hand holding his leg.

"I won't make you do something silly," I told them. I looked down and whined as I saw how high up, we were. "I just want to get down."

"Aww, are you a stuck kitten?" She asked me and grinned before she came up and then picked me up, making me get on her back. "Hold onto me. I'll get us down. Haru! Come on! We've got to get to the ground before the squirrels come out of their nests and throw nuts at us!" She got us to the trunk of the tree then slowly started to climb down as I held onto her tightly. Haru was behind us quickly as he trembled then jumped the last few feet when we were near the ground. She sat me down as soon as her feet touched the earth then giggled. I eyed her over and blushed.

"Thank you," I whispered to her and then looked at Haru before I took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "We should think about heading home," I told him. "We still have the lake to swim across." She growled at us suddenly.

"But it's almost dinner time. You can't go home," she told me then grabbed my hand, yanking it away from Haru's then grabbed his with her other hand. "Come on~ let's go back to the manor! Daddy will love seeing you boys back!"

"B-but- Koto will be missing us for supper," I whispered then looked at Haru uncertainly.

"We're having deer," she sung out and looked at me with a playful look. "Don't you want to have freshly caught deer? It's a real treat!" I looked at her then and licked my lips.... I want deer.... What's deer taste like? Like wizards? I want an eye.... I wonder if I'll become a deer if I eat its eye...

"Okay, but then we have to go home," I told her and giggled.

"Oh, but it'll be dark! You'll have to spend the night," she told me then licked my cheek. "There are things that lurk in the night and will snatch up young cubs~" I shivered at the thought.

"Maybe we should go straight home then- We didn't let our bubba know we was going to go away for a few extra hours...."

"Your bubba will understand~ Trust me, father will be upset if you decline dinner with us," she told me then looked at Haru. "Don't you want to have deer?" He blushed and nodded quickly.

"H-Haru," I whispered to him. "What should we do?"

"We could ask them to send a note to bubba," he suggested then gave me a sweet smile. "We'll go home in the morning if they can get bubba a note that tells him we're safe." He won't be worried then...

"Okay." I looked at her then. "We'll stay if you send a note to our bubby." She giggled then nodded before she started to skip as we reached the manor. She got us inside then let our hands go.

"DADDY~ THEY'RE STAYING FOR DINNER! THEY NEED A NOTE TO GO HOME TO THEIR BUBBA THOUGH!" She shouted and listened quickly, tilting her head cutely as she looked around attentively for her father's voice.

"Okay~!" I heard a sweet and loving motherly voice yell. "Your father will send it out!"

"MKAY MOMMY!" She giggled then turned to us before she tackled my brother and knocked him to the ground, giving his cheek a lick. He blushed and pushed at her chest lightly, but she didn't budge. I frowned as I watched her before I yanked him away from her.

"You're naked! Don't rub up on my twin like that. He's delicate."

"H-hey!" She growled out then nipped at my hand, making me drop her. She was back on my twin quickly with a giggle and licked his neck. He gasped and started to squirm as his eyes lit up in fear like he was worried she'd eat him. One of the red-haired sisters ran up to us then and giggled as she saw Haru. She ran straight to him and stole him from her sister and suddenly bit down into him hard. He cried out then struggled, starting to tear up as he looked at her and pushed at her head.

"N-no! Stop! Don't eat me!" He begged and kicked at her. She giggled before turning into her wolf form and tackled him to the floor before she pawed at his chest and let out a howl. I widened my eyes and ran up to her and pushed her off him.

"Haru!" I yelled and grabbed him- pulling him to me. He whimpered and clung to me before he buried his face into me, trembling as his shoulder bled. I saw the black-haired girl glaring down her sister before she puffed out her cheeks.

"How could you try to mark him?! He's mine," she said sharply.

"Nu-uh loser. I started and I'll finish," I heard the wolf telling her.

"You can't finish it completely," she grumbled. "Daddy will be upset that you mated with him!"

"So?" She asked and giggled. "He never said we couldn't take them early~! He left it up to us to decide on who would have them."

"B-but," the black hair girl sniffled then growled suddenly before she shifted and made a break for us to steal Haru from me with a determined look. Haru yelped as he got yanked out of my arms and she went to bite into his other shoulder, giving her sister a growl.

"That's not fair! I started marking him! You can't do that! Take the other, jerk!" Her sister yelled. The black-haired wolf growled at her then yelped as Haru managed to shove her off and started to crawl away with a panicked look. She sneezed and eyed him over as she went for him, starting to circle as she looked for a way in. I frowned and took his hand before I made him run with me- running straight for where voices were coming at the most. Oh no! What if Haru becomes a werewolf after that bite? I could hear the two of them pursuing us before I was suddenly knocked down by a russet colored wolf- the brown-haired girl. She looked down at me then licked my cheek before she nuzzled her way to my shoulder and licked it. Haru looked at us with wide eyes then started to cry as he reached for me. I felt my heart racing in my chest as I shoved her away from my shoulder and started to cry.

"Don't bite me too," I told her.

"It's just our way of showing affection," she told me and licked my cheek. "We won't eat you~ We just want to show you love," she growled out then licked my neck. "Please? You'll like it when we finish~"

"N-no!" I told her and shook my head. "I bite back too," I warned her. "I'll bite harder."

"It's only a little bite," she whined then licked my chin, laying her ears back. I heard the black wolf growl at my brother playfully, making him yelp as she knocked him onto his back.

"D-don't hurt Haru," I told them and then shook my head. "Haru doesn't want it either. Don't hurt him." I smelled Haru's blood freshen before he cried out then the sounds of her digging at his chest lightly to scratch it up. The russet wolf on top of me suddenly bit into my shoulder and tore a chunk out, swallowing it then scratched at my chest before she started to lick my wound as she laid down on top of me with a sweet growl.

"You'll be my mate~" she told me as her spit soothed the pain. I whined and pushed at her.

"No!" I whined out. "I- I don't have anything to offer," I whined out.

"I don't want anything but your attention," she told me and licked my cheek. "Then cubs when we're older~ They'll grow up strong and chase all the deer~!" Haru's cries started to grow silent as the wolf on top of him stopped and licked his cheek sweetly.

"C-cubs?" I asked her and whined. What if I didn't want to be mated with someone... "Bu- but," I whined out. "I might not want them."

"You'll want them when we're older and when I finally come of age," she told me and laughed before she licked my nose. "We'll have lots and lots of cubs together~" I shook my head quickly.

"N- no we won't...." I eyed her over quickly. "I don't want a whole lot."

"But you want some~" She started to wag her tail then as she got excited. "I can't wait! I've got to tell daddy!" She got off me then and barked, starting to run off as she laid her ears back. "DADDY, DADDY, DADDY! I'VE GOT A MATE!" I eyed her over before I grabbed Haru's wrist and yanked him away from that girl and yanked him to me and wrapped him up in my arms. I winced at my wounds colliding against his body.

"We've got to leave," I told him softly in his ear. The girl whined then and lowered her head.

"You're not going anywhere~! You're both mated into our pack," she told us. "You can't leave anymore! You're wolf mates!"

"We're not old enough," I told her. "We've got family to go home to." She growled then.

"Daddy won't let you leave. He says we're keeping you two."

"N-no we were only staying the night but now we'd rather go home." She started for us then slowly as she wagged her tail.

"You are home~ You two can sleep together here until we're officially mated to each other," she told us then perked her ears up. "Deer all the time for dinner unless it's boar~ Come on~ This is so much better than anything you've ever had before~" I shook my head then at her and gripped Haru's shirt before I yanked us to our feet and made him follow me as I took off running for the entrance. We're leaving! I heard snarls break out around the room before bigger wolves rushed to get in front of us, blocking the door as they looked at us and showed off their teeth. Haru shrieked and started to cry, burying his face into my shirt as they made us back up and snorted. "Daddy will be disappointed when he learns that you two are trying to run away..." D-disappointed? Li-like my dad?

"H-Haru," I whined out and started to cry a little. "We should've stayed home today."

"Daddy! They tried to run off," the little wolf howled out before she walked up to us and wagged her tail, licking our hands. "He won't give you any dessert because of this~"

"It's dinner time," I heard the sweet voice from earlier announce.

"We'll show you to your room after supper," I heard the familiar voice of that man from earlier- their dad. The little wolf ran off quickly after the voices, wagging her tail quickly. Haru watched then looked up at me before he sniffled.

"L-let's go eat.... I don't want to starve waiting on a way to get home...." I nodded and grabbed his arm as I tugged him after the voices. I don't want to stay here.... We need to figure out a way to get home... Maybe we'll send a sos note to Koto. I heard the wolves following closely behind us to make sure we went there. As soon as we made our way into a grand dining room, they split off to the sides of the room and sat, eyeing us sharply as the four girls from earlier looked at us expectantly- already dressed from their transformations. The brown-haired girl gave me a sweet smile and patted the seat next to her for me and Haru to come sit. I frowned at her and eyed over the seat. I'm not sitting there with Haru! I sent her a small glare then. She frowned at me then sniffled before she looked away sharply. I saw a wolf send me a look then, tensing up like he was going to come after me. I frowned before I rolled my eyes and sat down by her with Haru and moved my chair to get away from her. Haru crawled into my seat then got in my lap, wrapping his arms around me as he blushed. "Hachi," he whispered.

"Haru," I mumbled and frowned. "I want to go home," I told him.

"Well, you can't," the black-haired girl said and giggled as she looked at us. "Can we play another game after supper?" She asked and looked at her sisters hopefully. The brown haired one shrugged and sunk into her seat, playing with her fork as she stabbed a piece of meat on her plate.

"I was wanting to spoil myself in the bath after supper," she told her sister and ate the meat.

"We don't want to play with you anymore," I told them. "You are girls and we don't like girls anymore."

"Whaaaa?" The black-haired girl said then blushed. "Why not?" She started to crawl over the table then for us. "We like you~"

"Don't come over here," I told her and then held onto Haru tighter. She hesitated in the middle of the table before she giggled and crossed it, climbing into our laps as she curled up and kissed our cheeks. I gasped and looked at Haru.

"Get her out of your lap!" I yelled at him. "She's a menace." He blushed then tensed as she latched onto him and gave a sweet giggle at him.

"B-but... she's cute," he mumbled then shrunk against me. "She won't let go...."

"Cute?" I asked and frowned. "Girls aren't cute!"

"You're cute," Haru told me and blushed. I frowned at him and started to cry.

"Don't let her touch you. They hurt us!" He kissed my cheek quickly as he noticed then started to rub at my tears and shoved her out of his lap to turn to me. She yelped as she hit the floor then sniffled as she looked up at us in shock. I hid my face against him quickly and whined a little. He kissed the side of my head then giggled before I felt the chair rock back and we were suddenly in the floor, rolling a few inches with me. I clung to him quickly and sniffled. We need to send a message to Koto... but I don't know how... He kissed my neck and purred happily in my ear as he tugged on my shirt lightly. I sniffled a little and buried my face in his neck.

"If you're not going to touch your food tonight then we'll take you to your room," I heard that lady's voice tell us. Haru yelped and sat up then.

"W-what?" He asked then blushed. "But... but..." he glanced at the food then at me before he pouted and got to his feet, going over to the plates and picked one, sitting down and starting to eat it. I watched him before I sat down at the table by him and curled up in my seat. I'm not eating unless it's Koto's food. Haru gasped and giggled as he got a good taste then moaned happily, starting to dig in like he was starved. I watched him and pouted a little. He's too innocent. We're being kidnapped and he doesn't care. He looked towards me then got a piece of the meat and popped it into my mouth before I could react. I chewed on it before I frowned and swallowed it. This isn't anything like the meat Koto cooks.... but it's okay... I glanced away quickly. Haru watched me then pouted as he ate another bite. "Hachi," he mumbled. "Why're you so upset? We'll get home eventually...." I whined then at him.

"Koto is going to be upset at us," I whispered to him. "Saki is probably worried sick." He looked at me then kissed my cheek.

"Koto and Saki will find us," he promised me. "They'll search for us and find our trails at the lake...." I frowned at him before shaking my head.

"We should still be trying to get to them."

"It's dark outside," he whined. "I don't want to go out there. There'll be ghosts and monsters and predators!"

"We're in a house of predators," I hissed out to him and glanced around us before I scooted closer to him. He crawled into my lap quickly as he noticed and clung to me.

"You're a predator but you don't eat me," he whispered then kissed my neck. "My sweet Hachi, my tiger~" I whined and closed my eyes as I wrapped my arms around him. First thing in the morning, I'm running home and he's coming with me. He giggled against me sweetly and wrapped his arms around me with a purr. "I love you.... Don't be frightened. I'll make sure they don't hurt us. I'll stitch their mouths shut if they try to bite us again~"

"Why didn't you the first time?" I cried out to him and sniffled. I shook my head against him then before I rubbed at my eyes. I looked at his plate before I snatched it and started to eat the meat on it. He widened his eyes as he watched me eating his food then went for a piece.

"I-I didn't think about it," he whimpered out. I nodded a little and smacked his hand. He yelped and then pouted, looking at me before he looked at the meat longingly. I giggled and fed him a piece then before looking away and pouted. I won't trust another dog again! He kissed my cheek suddenly then fed me a piece. "I love you, bubba.... Don't leave my side while we're here, please," he whispered then snuggled up to me as he ate another piece.

"Never," I mumbled to him and gripped his shirt. He purred happily then looked up into my eyes. For a second, it looked like his whole world revolved around me as he met my eyes with a love that only twins could have. He looked towards my cheek then gently gave it a kiss as he curled up. I blushed and hugged him tighter as I let out a sigh and started to finish the plate of food. I guess I shouldn't be too upset at the wolves... but that doesn't change the fact they're trying to kidnap us... We'll have to come up with a clever plan to escape.... But I don't know what we'll do... They're wolves! They're faster and stronger than I am so they're the same with Haru. I'll have to outsmart them like the bedtime stories. Haru nuzzled up under my chin then giggled as I felt a needle start stitching itself in and out of my shirt. I blushed and grabbed his hands quickly.

"Don't let it get me," I told him. He's not a good stitcher yet! He giggled and squirmed, trying to pull his hand away before I felt the needle accidentally poke me in the chest as he got distracted. I gasped and twitched in pain. "Ow!" He yelped in shock then blushed at me as the needle stitched through me and stuck me to my shirt.

"I'm so sorry," he told me then looked at the needle, grabbing it to make it stop. I frowned and looked down at my chest.

"Haru," I whined out. "Don't stitch clothing to me!" I heard the girls giggling at us then. Haru blushed and looked at the needle before he started to concentrate.

"Maybe I can make it unstitch," he whispered and slowly let the needle go to let it do its thing.

"No! Let me handle this," I told him and eyed him over. He paused then looked away from me as he moved back in my lap to give me space. I saw him puff his cheeks out as he rubbed his hand with his thumb. I eyed over the needle then and concentrated as I compelled it to slowly unstitch me from the shirt. He got out of my lap then and snatched another plate of meat off the table and walked off with it, eating it as he looked around the room and explored with it. I watched him and frowned. He ditched me! I got up quickly and ran after him- grabbing his shirt as I caught up to him and held onto it as I followed him. He yelped then giggled at me, looking back over his shoulder as he leaned in and gave me a big kiss on my cheek. Dropping the plate, he moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around my neck sweetly.

"Hachi~"

"Haru," I whined out to him and yanked him closer to me. "Don't leave me."

"I didn't leave you," he murmured and kissed my jaw. "I was in the room...."

"You were too far away," I whined out and gave him a sweet look.

"What's too far away?" He asked and blushed, looking into my eyes as he pressed up against me.

"Mommy... are all twins inseparable?" I heard one of the little girls ask curiously.

"Usually, especially when they're young," I heard an elderly woman answer her. I looked Haru over and giggled.

"You're still too far away," I whispered to him. "But as long as you're in arm's length of me.... You're close enough to where I feel safe." He giggled and stole any kind of space between us, knocking us over onto the ground then laid on top of me with a loud purr. I giggled and wrapped my arms around him, burying my face against his neck. I breathed in his scent and let out a small moan as I exhaled. He smelled me and then kissed my neck as he gripped the back of my shirt then purred at me again.

"Alright," I heard the man's voice say- his familiar tone so clear- and powerful to my ears. "I'll show you to your bedroom. You'll sleep near my girls." Haru whined then.

"Near them?" He asked and pulled back from my neck with a pout. "I wanna be alone with Hachi...."

"You're getting your own room with him, that's enough," he told us.

"But... but," Haru sniffled and sat up completely, looking at him. "What if they sneak into our room?!"

"There's a lock. I'm the only one with a master key by the way so don't think it'll keep me out."

"Why would you come into our room?" Haru asked innocently and curled his fingers into my shirt.

"To force you out and to interact with others. I do it often with the omegas."

"B-but... I like sleeping in," Haru mumbled and laid back on top of me.

"As long as you're out by lunchtime. I have my beta do all the room checking for me by then, so he usually gets the key for that." My twin pouted and hid his face into my neck.

"I'll sew his hands together if he tries to take me from Hachi," Haru muttered under his breath.

"He won't be taking you alone. He'll be taking you both out." He relaxed on me then and sighed, running his fingers to the collar of my shirt and tugged on it. I blushed and smacked his hand off my collar and growled playfully at him.

"Don't stretch that out." He growled back at me and giggled, tugging on the bottom of my shirt to mess with me. I giggled and eyed him over before I stole his hand and knocked my hips up into his and flipped us. I got up quickly and pulled him to his feet as the man stood up.... Wait- if he was talking about his beta- then he's Alpha. Haru stumbled into me with a purr then paused, looking towards the man then hid in my arms, burying his face into my chest. I smirked and climbed into his arms quickly. "Carry me Haru," I told him. He widened his eyes as he struggled to hold me then lifted me up a little before he blushed.

"C-couldn't you have gotten a piggyback ride," he asked and tsked.

"No," I told him and giggled. "I want this."

"But this is so much haaaarder!" He groaned and took a few steps towards the door with me as he hoisted me up to get a better grip. I whined then. Why is he such a weakling? I got out of his arms and jumped up onto his back.

"Go piggy go~" I told him and giggled. He yelped then giggled, grabbing my legs to help keep me up then started to race towards the door, snorting like a pig. I could hear the girls giggling as they got up to chase us quickly. I frowned and looked at them before I gave Haru a slap on his arm. "They're coming! Faster!" He yelped then ran out of the room, throwing the doors open with his magic then smirked like he got an idea and made a break for the front door. I giggled and held on tight to him. He's making his escape! The girls suddenly growled as they saw where we were going, and I heard them let out howls as two feet suddenly became four. Haru's eyes widened and he shrieked, going a little faster as he squeezed my legs, almost digging his nails in as he started to pant. "Uh-oh," I whispered as I eyed them over.

"Where are you going?" I heard their father ask us. "You're supposed to follow me to your bedroom, boys." Haru yelped as he tripped on his shoe then whimpered as he fell face first into the ground. The girls surrounded us in an instant then sniffed us as they snarled, laying their ears back.

"We were playing," I mumbled innocently to them.

"Come on," I heard him tell us as he started down the hall. Haru frowned and whined as he struggled to his feet then carried me after him as the girls stayed hot on his trail, nipping at his feet to make him follow. I looked down at them and glared them down before I looked at their dad. EVIL! As soon as their father opened a door in a hallway, Haru went straight into it, making sure to give a huff as he passed their dad and stomped in. I stuck out my tongue a little as we passed him then kicked the door shut. Haru watched the door for a minute then set me down as he glanced over the room then gasped as his eyes landed on a huge bed. He ran over to it quickly and giggled, climbing into its lush pillows and fur blankets all over it.

"Hachi, Hachi, Hachi!" He looked towards me as he kicked his shoes off and tossed them, bouncing on the bed on his knees. I blushed as I eyed the bed over. Whoa! Look at the size of that thing! I blushed as I walked over and hesitated by the edge of it. He yanked me onto it and growled in my ear as he pushed me onto my back and straddled my stomach. I giggled as I looked up at him before I felt my stomach growl with hunger. I eyed him over and licked my lips. He gave me a sweet look and kissed my cheek then rubbed my tummy with his hand. "Are you really hungry again? You just ate," he whispered in my ear. I nodded as I eyed him over.

"Yeah.... that wasn't enough," I told him and blushed.

"We can go back to the dining room and steal something to eat," he told me and nuzzled his face into my neck.

"I want to get some from our fridge at home," I told him and rubbed my head. I felt his lips curl down into a frown as he gripped my shirt.

"You want... the meat at home?" He asked softly.

"Yeah," I told him and then sighed. "It's better tasting." He pulled back and eyed me over then looked towards the window.

"We could... go out the window. I'll tie the blankets together if you lock the door," he whispered.

"No! It's too high up," I told him and gave him a worried look.

"We'd use the blankets to get to the ground," he told me and looked down at me. "I don't want my bubba going hungry... even if he's wanting to eat wizards."

"B-but they taste good," I told him and licked my lips. "Especially their eyes," I husked out to him. "I want another eye." He yelped and got off me quickly, blushing.

"H-hey, don't talk to me like that when you're hungry," he whispered. I frowned as I eyed him up.

"Are you afraid of me?" I asked softly. His face reddened further as he watched me before he shook his head no slowly.

"N-no bubba," he whispered. I nodded and reached out for him.

"Come back to me," I begged. He crawled back slowly then got back on me, straddling my stomach then kissed my cheek. I kissed him back and smelled him quickly. He shivered and gripped my shirt tightly as he heard me then hid his face into my neck. I shot a glance at the door running off to the room and sat up a little.

"Do you think that's a bathroom?" I asked and giggled. "We could play sailors." He glanced back at it then nodded.

"Probably," he whispered then gave my neck a gentle kiss before he got up then ran off towards the door and threw it open. I heard a squeal of delight as he went in then heard the water running before his clothes hit the floor. I giggled and ran for the door then- sliding into the room as I reached it. I eyed it over in awe- this is a big bathroom- OH MY GOSH! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT TUB! I giggled and then took off my clothes as I watched it. It's big enough for five people. I eyed over the scented bottles laying out on it and walked up to them- seeing they were scented differently. I picked up a bottle of scented salt and giggled. Wh-what? I looked at the water before I grabbed a bottle to make bubbles with and dumped it into the tub. Haru watched with wide eyes then climbed in quickly, watching as the bubbles formed around him. He moved close to the faucets and then stretched out, putting his arms up on the side of the tub and leaned his head against his arms. I giggled and gave him some scented salt to go with the bubbles. I climbed in with him and giggled as I stepped into the salt. He looked at me and purred then turned around to face me. "Hachi~" He sung out and reached for my hand. I giggled and slowly moved over to him- getting into his lap.

"Haru," I purred out to him and smelled him with a light moan- I could eat him up right now- he's all mine. He giggled in my ear then kissed my cheek.

"I love you, bubba~"

"I love you too," I whispered to him and then licked his neck to taste him. He squirmed and gripped my shoulders quickly as he tilted his head to the side as my head moved closer to his.

"H-Hachi," he mumbled.

"What?" I asked and giggled.

"Don't lick me when you're hungry!" He told me and blushed as he turned his head to look me in the eyes nervously. "You might bite me."

"I want to," I mumbled and drooled a little as I eyed him over. He widened his eyes then pushed on my chest.

"Nuh-uh, go somewhere else," he told me quickly, starting to look freaked out. "Go to the other side of the tub!"

"Then I wouldn't be with you," I whispered to him and licked him again. He shivered then started to tremble.

"H-Hachi, no! I don't want you to bite me. Stop!" I giggled and playfully bit him- not letting my teeth pierce his skin- but it's tempting. I moaned at the thought- just another inch down and I could be tasting what I want for supper... I bit down hard then and moaned as his blood poured out into my mouth. He shrieked and smacked the side of my head hard, kicking at me as he started to cry. "NO! STOP!" But it's so delicious~! I let out a predatory growl towards him and pinned him up against the tub. He tastes like heaven! He cried out then looked at me before he kneed me between the legs and jumped out of the tub as he held his shoulder and made a break for it. I frowned and looked at the door- using my magic to slam it shut and watched as it stitched shut by a needle and thread. I got out of the tub and grabbed his leg- yanking him hard and made him fall to the ground. I dragged him back to me and into the tub as I gave him a soft purr to sooth my prey. He kicked at my hand and let out a scream, panic flooding his eyes as he looked up into mine. "N-no! Let me go! Let me go! Bubba!" I eyed him over as I brought him closer to me- making our skin touch as I gave his cheek a kiss and purred to him.

"It's okay," I whispered to him and licked my lips clean. I rocked him in my arms as I started to hum him our lullaby. I eyed over his wound hungrily and licked at it. He sniffled and looked at me then pushed at my face.

"N-no, don't lick it," he begged and hid his face against me. "Bubba... please.... Let me go.... I'll sleep in another room. Please don't! You'll eat me! You'll kill me!"

"No, I won't," I whispered to him and ran my fingers across his body to relax him. "I'm not going to do that," I purred into his ear as I eyed over the wound. I'm so freaking hungry....

"L-let me go.... You already bit me," he told me and pulled his face back from me to look me in the eyes. "If you mean it, you'll let me out." I eyed him over in slight amusement.

"I'm your brother," I whispered to him as I grabbed his chin and tilted his head to me. I hovered my lips above his. "You should offer yourself to me and feed me." His eyes widened.

"N-no, I won't," he told me quickly. "I'll help you escape to go home, but I won't let you kill me! I don't want to die.... I wanna stay with you and play sailors and grow up with you and take care of you." He whimpered then and I felt his hands against my chest as he gave me a pleading look.

"I love you," I purred out to him and kissed right beside his lips. "But you taste extremely good." He blushed and shook his head quickly.

"No," he told me sternly. "Nuh-uh! I won't let you! You promised me you wouldn't eat me!"

"B-but I want to eat you now," I whispered to him and whined as I licked my lips. "You should let me eat you." He frowned at me then and sniffled.

"B-but then I wouldn't exist anymore...."

"No way... I won't let you not exist," I told him and rubbed my head against his chest. "You'll come back to me."

"I'll be dead! It'll hurt, and then I'll never be able to hug you again or sleep with you or play sailors!" He cried out then started to cry as he pushed at me. "Don't touch me! You'll bite me and then I'll die!" I eyed him over and licked my lips before I shushed him.

"Just be quiet," I told him and eyed his body over then at his eyes.... Those! I want those.... He widened his eyes as he caught how I was looking at him then smacked me hard, jumping out of my arms to escape.

"NOOOO! DON'T TOUCH ME! HELP! SOMEONE HELP!" I frowned and chased after him.

"Haruuuuu~" I purred out and grabbed his arm as I caught up to him. "It's okay~ You can come back and haunt me."

"NO!" He said and yanked his arm away from me then ran towards the window. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" I frowned and ran up to him- slipping past him and blocked his way to the window.

"Haru~ I'm your bubba," I told him and started for him as I licked my lips and backed him right into the tub again. I crawled in and shoved him under the water and held him there. He struggled and clawed at my arm quickly, dragging his sharp nails down my skin and causing me to bleed as he kicked at my stomach, squeezing his eyes shut. I held him under- waiting for him to grow weak. After a few minutes, he slowly dropped his hands and a few bubbles rose up to the top of the water as he released the air he had. His eyes slowly opened as he looked up at me with a heartbroken look and then shut his eyes quickly like he was in pain. I watched him and tilted my head a little before I pulled him up out of the water and dragged him out onto the floor. I eyed him over before forcing his eyes open and eyed one of them over as I licked my lips. He smacked my hand away from his eyes and glared at me before he turned onto his stomach and whimpered. I frowned and tsked as I flipped him back over and tsked. "Haru, stop struggling! This will only take a minute," I purred out. "I'll just eat your eyes... You can grow new ones back." I moved my fingers to his eyes then. He smacked my hand away as he started to cry and squeezed his eyes shut before he exposed his neck to me quickly.

"If you're going to eat me, kill me," he begged.

"I don't want to do that," I told him and giggled as I gave his cheek a kiss. "Now shush.... I'll grow you new eyes back when we get home." He shook his head quickly and then yanked my head down to his throat. I yanked back and then pushed my finger into his eye socket- digging out his eye to get one. I let out a small laugh at the thought of eating one. His screams made my heart pound as my blood curdled at the sound of it, and I felt him trembling under me, crying out in pain. I shivered then as I eyed him over and bit my bottom lip. "It's okay," I whispered to him in a soothing tone as I felt a tingle run up my spine- That scream~! N-no this is Haru but he's going to taste so good when I get it out~! I popped it out quickly and licked my lips as I brought it up to my mouth and watched him before I held back a little laugh- something snapping inside me at the sight of him. I rolled my shoulders a little before I pushed it into my mouth and moaned at the flavor. He cried out and gripped his face where I had popped the eye out, his blood dripping down the side of his face as he curled up quickly.

"H-Hachi, how could you?" He whimpered out. "We're bubbas! You're evil! You're just like father!" I frowned and shook my head quickly.

"No," I told him and swallowed his eye and felt a growl hit my throat as I eyed him over. "I'm not like father..." I trailed off and stared at him blankly... He's so delicious.... I licked my lips and leaned in- kissing his forehead. "I love you," I whispered to him and covered his mouth before he could say something. I kissed my hand before shushing him again. No... I don't want to hurt... I don't want to hurt him... but sooner or lately this was going to happen.... I felt a few tears slipping down my cheeks. He wasn't going to eat Koto's cooking- He was going to end up on the menu anyways... I eyed him over before shaking my head. I don't want this for him... Maybe he'll be reborn again into a better family. One with a better loving twin.... I love him- but I want better for him too.... But no one can have him because he's mine! I eyed him over and brought him closer to me. "Haru," I whispered lovingly to him. He whimpered and pushed at me quickly, shaking his head again. I could feel his little heart beating in his chest quickly like he was frightened of me. I pulled him into my lap quickly and started to rock him as I hummed softly to him. "It's okay," I whispered to him and eyed over his neck. He looked at me with his one eye and sniffled before he hid his face into my shoulder.

"You're going to eat me," he whined out through my hand on his mouth. I let his mouth go and shushed him.

"It's okay Haru," I whispered to him and rubbed his lips. I leaned in for his neck and hesitated on it- No- I don't want to eat Haru! I pulled back and started to cry as I watched him. No- I don't want to kill him. I shook my head quickly and pushed him away from me as I took the spell off the door. I crawled away from him and scratched at my neck. What have I done to him! He started to cry as he curled up and held his missing eye, his sobs sending a bad sort of chill up my spine, making me realize I had hurt him bad. I'd be lucky if he'd look at me the same. I whimpered and rubbed my temples as I lowered my head in shame. What have I done! I trembled and got up quickly before I ran out of the bathroom and straight to the bed. I jumped into it and got under the covers- holding my throat and started to cry. No! That was terrible of me! What was I thinking! I heard a soft knock at our door before one of the girls cleared her throat.

"Boys, are you alright?" I heard the little black-haired girl call out. "I heard screaming...."

"Get out!" I yelled at her quickly.

"H-hey! Don't yell at me like that! I was worried someone was hurting you two!" She growled out.

"GET. OUT!" I yelled at her and trembled.

"Where's Haru?" She whined out from in the hall. I heard a thud suddenly then before there was a sharp knock at my door.

"Kasai," I heard Koto's stern voice. I sat up quickly and looked at the door as I rubbed my tears off my face.

"K-Koto?" I asked and sniffled.

"Unlock the door," he growled out towards me. "I can't believe you're here of all places." I sniffled and ran up to the door before I opened it and rushed into his arms.

"Koto," I whined out and almost knocked him over. He stumbled a little and growled before he knelt and grabbed my arms, starting to shake me.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?!"

"W-we went swimming in the lake," I told him. "We were going to have some fun- but then we saw a pack of wolves- and- and we swam over to meet them when we realized it was werewolves- because we never met any and they were friendly towards us- th- then they brought us here and wouldn't let us go home," I cried out to him and sniffled as I buried my face into his chest. He stopped shaking me then and sighed, rubbing my head before he dug around in his pocket then pulled out a small package. He put it in my hands then tsked.

"Did you eat?" He asked and unwrapped it for me, revealing a chunk of meat. I looked it over before I took it from him and started to eat it- moaning as I ate it greedily. When I finished it off, I licked my lips and stumbled into his body tiredly and trembled.

"K-Koto, I- I hurt Haru," I whispered to him.

"You what?" He asked sharply as he rubbed my back. "What? Did you finally eat him?"

"H-his eye," I mumbled into his shirt. I clung to him then and trembled. "I c-couldn't eat anymore," I whispered to him as I shook my head. "I hurt him." He sighed then.

"You need me to finish him off for you, don't you?" He muttered. "I knew he'd be a screamer."

"N-no," I mumbled and started to cry. "I don't want to hurt him."

"You already ate part of him," he said then pushed me out from his body to look me in the eyes before he tsked. "Fine... you don't want him dead?"

"I-It's Haru," I whispered. "I don't know what to do anymore- I was so hungry and hurt him! I don't- I don't want him hurting." He watched me then got to his feet, walking past me and sniffed the air before he started for the bathroom where Haru was. I watched him before I followed him slowly and rubbed at my shirt. Haru isn't going to love me anymore... He knelt beside Haru who was curled up right where I left him. He tsked as he looked him over then forced Haru's hand aside before he leaned in and licked the blood up. He gave a small moan and smirked before he put his hand over Haru's eye socket as Haru let out a terrified yelp. I winced and looked away slightly before looking back at them and rubbed my arm. Haru's shivering subsided slowly as I saw a faint glow coming from under Koto's hand before he pulled away and looked down at Haru. The bleeding had stopped, but he was still missing his eye. The pain faded from his expressions as he looked up towards Koto in a daze, earning a smirk from him. I watched them before smiling a little. He's okay? I blushed as I watched them. Koto.... He put his hand over Haru's bite wound and did the same before he sat Haru up slowly, earning a small cry from him. He pulled him into his arms and rubbed his head as Haru clung to him.

"Haru did you really think he'd eat you?" He purred out and smirked. I could tell he was screwing with Haru then as he looked straight at me. He knew I was going to eat him up. I could see it in his eyes. I looked down at my feet then and rubbed my neck before looking back at them. Haru's eye met mine then before he blushed and shrunk into Koto's arms with a small whimper. "Oh, don't look at your twin like that. He ate. He won't eat you now." I gave him a smile then.

"Koto brought me food," I told him and walked up to them before I grabbed Haru's wrist and brought his hand up to kiss. He gasped and tugged on his hand then but was quickly shushed by Koto who leaned in and started to whisper something into Haru's ear. My twin's eye glazed over before he blinked a few times then looked up at me in delight.

"Hachi~ Hachi, Hachi!" He purred out and giggled, his hand tightening on mine as he yanked me down to them. "We're getting out of here! Big bubba Koto found us~!" I nodded to him and tilted my head a little. What happened? What'd Koto do to him? What'd he say? Haru purred and kissed my cheek before he squirmed to get out of Koto's arms and got into mine quickly, latching onto me. Koto started to laugh mischievously and got to his feet.

"There," he told me and smirked. I eyed him over before looking at Haru and gave his cheek a kiss before I nodded.

"Mhmmm, Koto came to save us," I told him and then looked at him. "How'd you find us?"

"Caught your scent," Koto said and waved it off before he looked around and grabbed a rag, wetting it slightly before he tied it around Haru's head to cover his eye socket. My twin squirmed and gave a small whine at the feeling then looked at me before he buried his face into my shoulder. "I tracked it to here and then busted in, pissed off you left the house to come here with a bunch of wolves."

"We didn't mean to," I promised him. "They sort of took us without asking... and then we went along with it until it wasn't fun anymore..." I trailed off then. Koto nodded and smirked.

"It's fine. I had a great meal~ That alpha was amazing," he told us then paused before he waved his hand over Haru's head. I felt him relax a little as he hummed lightly like he couldn't hear us anymore. "Hachi... if you don't want to eat him, he's not going to remember a thing you did to him. He thinks he lost his eye playing in a tree. You're lucky I did it for you, but I thought it would be amusing to watch you struggle a little more with your hunger," he teased me and smirked, tapping my nose. "Don't you ever... ever get caught by wolves again, got it? You're both mine." I nodded to him and blushed.

"I won't wonder off again," I promised him. I'm not leaving the house... I've discovered it's dangerous! I gave him a loving look then. He's my big brother.... Mean sometimes... but this means a lot to me what he did for Haru.

"We'll have to get him an eye patch," he muttered, eyeing Haru over. "He'll need it to keep gunk out of his eye socket. I don't have a spell book right now to give him an eye back, and I don't really feel like it. It's your mess. Live with it." I frowned but nodded. He's right.... I need to fix Haru's eye on my own... I stole it and I should be the one to give him a new one. "Now be good boys and let's go. Saki is waiting." He smirked and whistled, starting to walk off. I felt Haru twitch on me as he looked towards the sound of him whistling then blushed before he looked up at me then grinned sweetly.

"Dress me~" I blushed and eyed him over before I nodded and helped him into his clothes. I got into mine quickly and blushed a bright red before I grabbed his hand and started to pull him after our brother. I forgot about our clothes. He gave my hand a squeeze as he followed us and giggled. "Bubba, maybe we'll get to sleep together when we get home," he whispered excitedly. "Koto seems really happy today."

"I don't think we should," I told him. What if I start craving him? I should start distancing myself before I do eat him up. He whined then.

"Bu-but... why not?" He asked and gave me a heartbroken look as he moved closer to me. "I wanna sleep with you...."

"I don't think we should," I told him sweetly. "We're big boys now." He puffed his cheeks out as he watched me and pouted.

"Who cares about that?" I frowned before shrugging.

"I do now," I told him and looked at him. "If you miss me you can sleep with me on the nights you miss me most." He looked away from me quickly as his head dropped.

"F-fine... bubba," he whispered. "If you don't wanna sleep with me anymore... then... then... I'll sleep with Saki." I scoffed then.

"Saki is a girl."

"She'll still cuddle with me and keep me warm and love me," he whined.

"Don't cheat on me with her," I grumbled.

"You're the one kicking me out!" He cried out and looked at me as his eye started to water.

"Fine! You can stay in my bed." He watched me and squeezed my hand as he sniffled then slowly took his hand away from me.

"W-why are you so against it? You wanted me in your bed last night and... and you wanted me in the bed earlier tonight," he whispered then hugged his arms to his chest as he watched me. "I-is it really because you think we're too o-old?"

"It's just..." I trailed off. "I'm worried for you." He whined then.

"Is it because that branch poked my eye out? I swear I'm fine," he whimpered out. "It doesn't even hurt like it did a few days ago." He touched the cloth on his head and bit his bottom lip. I winced as I watched him.

"Haru" I trailed off as I gave him a hurt look. I don't want to hurt him! He dropped his hand from the cloth then.

"It is because of my eye," he mumbled and looked away from me. "I already told you that it wasn't your fault. I'm the one who climbed the tree. I should have watched what I was doing.... You don't have to pull away from me because of it. Don't look at me like it's your fault. It only makes me feel worse about it...."

"I just can't sleep with you anymore Haru. Be a big boy and sleep on your own now," I told him. He tensed before he clenched his jaw a little then ran off towards Koto and went to grab his hand, but Koto scoffed and yanked his hand away from him.

"What? Just because your twin rejected you, you come running to me? I already told you two not to sleep together. Father told you not to sleep together. It's time you two grew up a little," he told him and shoved his hands into his pockets. "You don't need to hold someone's hand. Hell, you should stop climbing trees and pay more attention to studying magic if you want to get somewhere in this family. You're such a baby." He rolled his eyes and walked out of the room, leaving Haru behind him. I followed Koto- tugging Haru with me on my way after him. He followed me as he hung his head and trembled a little.

It took us a few hours to get home, but once we made it, Koto gave me another piece of meat and went to bed, leaving the two of us to sort things out as I ate at the table. Haru watched me and picked at his food before he slowly ate it then pushed his plate away as he finished and got to his feet quietly. I finished off my food and then eyed him over.

"Goodnight," I whispered to him in a loving tone. "You're going to do great on your own."

"I don't wanna be on my own," he mumbled and ran his fingers on the table as he stood by it. "I don't want to be alone in the cold dark...."

"It'll be good for you," I promised him.

"How do you know that?" He whispered to me and locked onto my eyes. "What if I have a nightmare?"

"You can crawl into my bed if you do," I promised him. He whimpered then.

"That's no fair...." He told me.

"Yes, it is," I told him and tsked. "We're getting too old to sleep together."

"We're only twelve," he whined out then turned away from me. "You just don't want to sleep with me because of my eye...." He started to walk off then as he hugged himself. "Fine, I'll sleep with Mr. Jumpers. I don't need to sleep with you- not if you're going to look at me like that."

"Fine," I told him and watched him in worry. "Haru, you have to grow up eventually," I told him softly.

"No, I don't, but you can grow up if you want to," he mumbled. "You're cruel, bubba."

"I am not," I mumbled and started to cry. I'm just trying to protect him! He glanced back at me as he heard me then widened his eye before he rushed over to me and got into my lap, kissing my cheek.

"I'm sorry, bubba!" He hugged me tightly and rubbed the back of my head. "Please don't cry!"

"Please don't be mad at my choices," I begged him. "It's for us," I promised.

"B-but it's not what I want," he whined then kissed my cheek. "How's it for us if you didn't ask me if it's what I wanted?"

"Because it's what we need," I told him firmly. "Believe me. We need to sleep alone now."

"No, we don't," he growled out and clung to me. "Why're you so upset about me wanting to sleep with you?"

"It's none of your business," I told him sharply. "Just go sleep in your own bed for now on." He looked at me then pouted before he got out of my lap quickly.

"Fine," he said and tilted his head up before he started to walk off. "Good night." I nodded as I watched him and kept quiet. He'll be okay tonight... He'll miss me but it's for the best. He stomped off down towards his room and ditched me quickly, slamming his door on the other side of the house. I frowned before I slowly made my way to my cold room and up to my bed. I crawled into it and curled up to the sheets as my eyes started to water... I don't want to kill him... He's my bubba.... I love him so much...

I felt the covers get yanked off me before someone pulled me out of the bed. "Get up, Kasai. You're making breakfast," I heard Koto growl in my ear. "Hurry up. I have to go to town to hunt today." I whined and eyed him over before I shook my head.

"Get Saki to do it," I mumbled.

"She's getting dressed for work that way we can have bread," he hissed. "Come on, good for nothing. Pull your weight around the house!" I rubbed my eyes before sighing.

"Fine," I grumbled to him and growled back at him playfully before I walked to the door to get going. He followed me and pushed me forward sharply once we reached the door, making me get into the hallway before he went back to his room and went inside, grumbling about his necktie. I eyed over his door before I walked off to the kitchen and inside it. I glanced around before I grabbed some bread and started to toast it. I grabbed a jar of jam and sat it out on the table as I got some bread toasted and sat it out then set the table. That's a good breakfast to me~ I sat down then and giggled at my work and made myself some toast with jam on it. Koto walked in after a minute then sat down, snatching a piece of bread and went to the refrigerator, pulling out a heart from it- Kori's. I could smell it from here. He walked over then sat down, biting into it calmly as he looked out a nearby window then took a bite of his toast. I watched him and frowned. He's still eating on him? He ate half of it then sat it down on the table and finished off his bread. He eyed the rest of the heart over then got to his feet, walking over to the fridge with it and put it back. He's got a soft heart somewhere under his cold chills and hard stares. He looked at me sharply then. "Your lousy brother is still in bed, I think. Tell him he's washing the dishes for today."

"You know he's your brother too," I told him and giggled. "You need to stop being so mean to him~ You should be grateful you got two of me~ More to love."

"Haru's a black cat with bad luck following him around. That's the reason why his eye was eaten by a certain someone," he said and then walked to the door. I nodded as I watched him. He's always finding something to grumble about... I walked after him quickly.

"Can I come with you today?" I asked softly. He tensed then looked down at me.

"You want to hunt?" He asked sharply. "You're young for that."

"I want to know what you do," I told him and gave a smile. "Do you lure them?"

"Somewhat," he purred out then smirked. "Alright... I'll take you today, but you better not get soft hearted on me and not kill your prey. We can't have them screaming their heads off and running down the streets with missing eyes." I nodded and tilted my head. I get to kill today? I rubbed my shirt before nodding quickly.

"Okay, I won't let my prey go."

"Good boy... if you don't kill your prey, I'll lock you in a closet for a whole day," he warned me. "I won't have any soft-hearted killers in my family. Haru gets away with it for right now because he's not a killer yet, but he will be or he'll find life real hard really quick, got it?" I nodded to him and held my breath. How does he kill then? He's got to have a soft spot for the living... What was he like on his first hunt with dad? He eyed me over then smirked. "Go get dressed in a white button up shirt and a pair of shorts. Put on a hat too, got it? Go look presentable like a little boy ought to." I nodded and giggled before I ran back to my bedroom and got out my good clothes. I put on the white button up shirt he wanted me in and then a pair of my blue shorts. I grabbed a hat and put it on before getting on some shoes, socks, and a pair of suspenders to help hold my shorts up. I got a coat then to hold- just in case I needed it and walked out to meet Koto in the living room. He eyed me over then smirked before he tossed me a stack of old newspapers with today's date at the top. "There, now you're a newspaper boy. Let's go... unless you'd prefer to put on a show of it and fall down in front of a lady and start crying then lead her down an alley when she asks where your mommy is."

"Uh-" I blushed at the thought. "This is fine," I told him and eyed over the newspapers. He smirked and started to laugh.

"Half the fun is in the catching," he told me and then whistled, walking towards the door. "I'll help you catch your first by waiting in an alley for you to lure your prey to it. After that, you're on your own till noon." I nodded to him and gave a huge smile. This is going to be interesting. Maybe I can make a game out of it. "I'll be catching my own to bring home, so if you screw up while I'm gone, I won't be around to save you," he warned and smirked. "Father taught me just like that except we only caught one that day." I nodded and bit my bottom lip. Maybe I'll catch two to impress him. It can't be that hard. He took me out to a waiting carriage where Saki was looking in a small handheld mirror at herself, gussying up with a little bit of powder. She glanced our way then sat the things down, giving us a sweet, motherly smile as Koto helped me into the carriage. "Saki, watch him. I'm driving the carriage." He shut the door quickly then shoed the man off who was currently holding the reins. The carriage started to move after a few seconds, making my sister laugh a little as she looked at me.

"What are you doing coming with us? Are you going to work with me again?"

"Not today," I told her and hummed. "I'm going with Koto." I frowned a little. Haru is going to be home alone today. At least I won't be eating him- or tempted to eat him today.

"Oh... you're learning to hunt," she said with a disappointed look. "At least Haru isn't going with you. I'd hate to see Koto twist him up."

"He's not ready- I asked to go and that's why he's letting me." I smiled then. "I want to know his way." She shook her head then and sighed.

"I hope Haru is never ready," she muttered. "He's the most innocent of us all...." She looked out the window then with a thoughtful look before she rubbed her cheek. "He's so sweet.... I feel bad for him that one day Koto is going to be all over him to get him like him.... Haru isn't a killer and won't ever be a killer."

"He would be if it wasn't for you putting your ideas in his head," I grumbled. Even I have a hard time killing because of her! I clenched my jaw then. "You should've never told us anything about right from wrong that went against daddy."

"I know what you did to Haru," she told me then looked over at me. "Don't you think that if I hadn't taught you anything, you would have eaten him? He'd be dead right now if you didn't have a sense of right and wrong and some feelings for him."

"I've always had feelings for my twin," I whispered. "I'm pushing him away to keep him safe as it is now." She frowned at me then.

"That's horrible.... Hachi, you can control yourself better than that. He'll be heartbroken...."

"No, I can't," I told her sharply. "I almost ate him! Now I'll probably start craving him," I rubbed at my throat then. "He's there and out of my reach and I know now that he tastes delicious. It's like taking a bite out of a cookie and then leaving it for bread."

"Hachi, you only went to eat him because you were hungry," she told me and sighed. "Just keep feeding yourself so you won't be tempted to eat anymore and that way when Haru gets close to you, you can focus on playing with him. If you're going to push him away, we might as well send him to another family to live that way at least he'll have socialization. I'm constantly working... and Koto will get him if he doesn't start acting like a killer...." She crossed her legs and frowned as she watched me thoughtfully. "I guess I could bring him to work with me every day to take him away from you...."

"Stop getting into our business," I told her and puffed out my cheeks. "I'm not asking for your help." I crossed my legs and looked out the window. "We're doing it my way."

"If you don't give him attention," she told me and trailed off before she rolled her eyes. "I'm still going to start taking him to work with me. He needs to get out more if you're going to start treating him differently."

"That's not right," I hissed at her. "He shouldn't get special treatment because I decide we should grow up and sleep separately."

"He is the baby out of the two of you," she muttered at me and frowned. "Besides, look at you. You're getting special treatment with Koto. Do you see Haru coming with you two? No, he's stuck by himself at home to fend for himself."

"I asked to come. I wasn't asked by Koto. I asked him. Haru could have come if he was around to know what was going on."

"You're going to wind up just like father," she muttered under her breath then looked out the window.

"So what?" I asked her sharply. "You're not the one that gets haunted by him! I killed him!" I yelled at her and clenched my jaw. "I've got to deal with that. So, get over your whinny fit. It's not working, and it never did, Saki. I've got real problems to deal with. I killed our father! I still see him haunting me." I shivered then. "That's not going to leave me. She balled up her fists in her lap as she looked at me sharply.

"Kasai," she hissed. "If you hadn't have killed him, you'd be dead right now."

"Yeah and so would you!" I yelled at her. "You think he was going to stop with me? He was probably going to save you. That's why he didn't kill you like Kori and Uta- he was going to leave you there and kill you after the rest of us that's still living. You should have seen what I done to make sure we would live. I stabbed him in the eye." She glared me down then.

"You're not getting the picture and it's because Koto got to you," she muttered at me then looked out the window. "Fine, push Haru away. If your problems are so big, then you deal with them. You obviously don't need my input when I'm older than you and took care of you when your knees bled and when father punished you over the years. What the hell do I know? I'm just a girl."

"You are just a girl," I told her and looked off. I felt a sharp stinging sensation on my cheek then before she snarled at me. I glared her down sharply then.

"Saki, if anyone got to me, it was father when he TRIED TO EAT ME!" I yelled at her. "It's either eat or be eaten. Haru is working his way to getting ate and I've been trying to protect him for a very long time- but he's not changing, and I don't want to see him get ate by anyone- especially if it's not me." She tsked at me then before she looked out the window.

"I'm going to start taking him to work with me. I'm not going to leave him with the likes of you and Koto if you're going to talk about him like he's a piece of food for you to play with."

"He's not going to work with you," I told her sharply. "Get it out of your thick skull. I'll eat him before I let him go away alone with you."

"You're walking a very fine line," she muttered. "You're going to eat him because of that attitude of yours."

"Maybe I should!" I yelled at her. "Then we can all move on. Koto looks at me like he's waiting for me to do it."

"How could you? He's your twin! He's always been there for you," she said and then snatched my hands. "He's too sweet for you. You don't deserve him if you're going to treat him like that," she hissed. "You need to straighten up for him." I shook my head and yanked my hands away.

"I'm trying to! That's why I've got to stop sleeping with him," I hissed out. "Don't tell me something I already know."

"It starts with sleeping then it moves to playing and then to talking to him altogether," she muttered and then crossed her legs as she looked out the window.

"That way leads me straight to eating him! His scent is intoxicating. I love him- I love the taste of him... He's delicious. I know he's my twin, I'm protecting him- I'm not shunning him- I'm making him give me some distance before I devour him." She looked at me then gave me a huge smile.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to say not. I meant it starts with not sleeping with him then it moves to not playing with him and then to not talking to him," she told me then shook her head. "That's how it works Kasai."

"No, it doesn't! Stop it Saki, just stop talking to me. I don't want to talk to you anymore."

"Why? Does it sound a bit... familiar to you?" She asked me and smirked then. "You know Koto and Kori used to play a lot together when they were younger."

"Shut up!" I yelled at her and then glared her down. "Maybe I'll talk Koto into eating you!" She rolled her eyes then looked out the window.

"Go right ahead. He'd have to pick up the slack and start working his tail off to put bread on the table then." I huffed and looked away quickly. She's a girl! What does she know? She doesn't know anything. She's nothing hardly to this family. It must suck for her to not have a sister to bond with. I bet she'd eat her if she had one. She would get so jealous the first time her sister started talking to a man- she'd gobble her up the first night she forgets to say goodnight to her. I rolled my eyes then. Girls.... I can see why mom left this family now... She wanted to get away from Saki. My sister's eyes widened in delight as we reached town and the carriage stopped by the shop, she worked in. She grabbed her things and got out quickly with a giggle before she ran straight to a man who was sweeping the entrance and stopped in front of him, telling him something that made him blush before she went past him and giggled happily. I eyed over the shop before shrugging. She's got to flirt with everyone she sees.... The man patted his pocket then before he gave a relieved look and pulled out a little black box and looked inside it then slipped it into his pocket quickly. I heard Koto click his tongue before the horses started to move slowly back to the street to get us going. Weird- I rolled my eyes. Who needs a box that small?
