Chereads / Paris Grimm | Vampire Prophecy / Chapter 41 - C39 A Birthday Celebration

Chapter 41 - C39 A Birthday Celebration

Richard's POV:

It's been half a century since I've been in Africa.... Today made it fifty years since then. That day when I dumped Paris off on that island.... Alone. Who knows what he did after that- but I ended up sailing across the seas to a new place... South America. This new land was different from Africa. There's jungle everywhere and wolves- lots of wolves. Everywhere I go I smell a new pack and fewer traces of vampires. It's like I've managed to finally isolate myself from that world I wanted to leave behind. It was new and wonderful, different. I had recently caught wind of some powerful vampires nearby that ruled here- Oz and Zehara. Of course, I found that I had landed myself on their doorstep soon after.

I looked up at the doors then knocked on them, clearing my throat as I sniffed the air for them. They are home, right? I better not have come all the way up here in this jungle just to wind up on someone's doorstep and they not be home. There are WOLVES out here!

"Whatcha doing?" I heard a sweet voice ask me as she walked up to me- carrying a jug of water. "No one knocks on those doors," she told me calmly. "They don't get visitors."

"They do now," I hummed out. "Do you know them?"

"Sure," she said and walked up to me before she opened the door up. "Come in," she told me as she walked past me. "I live here."

"You do? How wonderful~" I purred as I followed her in quickly to get out of the open. I looked towards her neck curiously then leaned in, smelling her before I purred and pulled away, shutting the door. She giggled as I caught the scent, she wasn't something I could place.... It was a new scent for me.

"Come on.... I'll wake them up for you. They're usually napping at this hour." She led me into their house which was carved into a huge mountain and had the actual rock of the mountain coming out of most of the walls. She hummed something under her breath as she led me through a dark pathway that slopped up and into a bright day room where there was blankets and pillows everywhere with beautiful daybeds laying around. There were baskets full of different fruits and beads hanging from the ceiling. There were two vampires laying near a grand window overseeing the jungle. A female and male sleeping next to each other. I looked the room over then purred. Impressive.... I could take some of this eventually when I finish moving around and use it in my own designs.... I walked over to the two vampires then sat down on the edge of their daybed.

"Wakey wakey, rise and shine," I purred out and crossed my legs. The male's eyes opened quickly as he looked up at me.

"Aren't you just a lovely piece of death," he teased me and looked towards the female laying by him and gave her cheek a kiss before he sat up. Her eyes opened slowly, and she looked up at the beads above them before looking towards me.

"Who's this? We have a visitor..."

"You look like you're from a place I've been," the male sung out to me. I stretched then.

"I'm from Europe~ Have you ever been there? It's not as pretty as these jungles are."

"Yes.... but it's fuller of vampires," he told me in amusement as he eyed me over. "So~ Who are you?"

"This is Oz- my brother," the girl told me and smiled. "I'm Zehara." She crawled out of the daybed. "You want to go on a hunt with us?" A hunt? How fun... if we don't run into mangy wolves.

"I'll go on a hunt," I said and smirked as I exposed my fangs. "I'm Richardo. I've heard about you two and came looking."

"Well there's not many of us here," Oz told me and smirked. "Of course, you came to us after hearing." He eyed me over in slight amusement as he reached out and grabbed my shirt before he brought me close to him. "You're going to have a lot of fun now." I grinned then grabbed his hand that was holding my shirt.

"What kind of fun?"

"Vampire fun," he told me as he pulled me downwards and between him and his sister. She giggled as she exposed her fangs at me and leaned in towards my neck. I put my fingers against her lips quickly and gave a slight growl.

"You don't want my blood," I warned her sharply then purred. "It'll drive you mad."

"That's a problem," she whispered as she pulled away from my fingers. "You do smell mad."

"So, you're a prince?" Oz asked me as he smelled me. "I heard about you in Europe."

"Of course, I'm a prince," I said and then moved my fingers back and looked towards Oz. "I'm Dracula's son."

"Really?" He asked in interest. "This is a real treat then... Let's show you how a vampire lives here..." He stood up then as he showed off his body. It was almost completely exposed except for the beads around his chest and cloths around his manly area. He was dressed in the latest fashion of this continent I noticed. So was his sister. They both had dark black hair that curled and was beaded... These two loved beads.

"What's up with all the beads?" I asked and got to my feet. "They're everywhere."

"Why not?" Zehara asked me and laughed. "We love they noise they make." Is that so? I thought it would have been because of the colors.

"You could always use bells instead," I told them with a purr.

"They're not as fun," she told me as she reached up and ran her fingers across a set above her and laughed at the rattle they made. I watched her curiously then turned to Oz.

"So, I take it that you don't keep humans. I don't smell any around... and you said hunt." I smirked then rubbed my lip lightly at the thought of hunting and getting fresh blood. It had been awhile since I last drank blood~

"No. We don't keep humans due to the treaty we share with the wolves here. If we don't keep them as pets, they'll be fun with our hunts," Oz explained to me. "So, if you have any humans as pets somewhere under your name here... You might want to hide them well."

"This is Renata," Zehara told me as she pointed to the lady that brought me to them. "Renata is a very strange and peculiar person. We brought her here from Europe." I raised an eyebrow and looked towards Renata.

"Oh? She's from Europe?" That explains why she can speak English well enough. "She's not human, right?" If she was... would that be breaching the treaty because she hangs out here? Plus, she smells funny. I moved over towards her slowly then smirked as I leaned in and smelled her neck then exposed my fangs. It wouldn't hurt to take a bite~ I haven't had blood in a while either~ I miss it.

"No, I'm not human," Renata told me calmly as she pushed me away sharply. "I wouldn't recommend biting me." I frowned at her then hissed.

"Why not?" I asked her then snatched her hands, holding them tightly. She frowned as she looked towards my hands before she looked at me.

"Let me go," she told me in a warning tone.

"What are you?" I raised my eyebrow then purred loudly. She thinks she can scare me.

"Aren't you the curious one?" She asked me and smirked.

"Of course," I told her then showed off my fangs. She eyed them over curiously. "What?" I asked her then purred, leaning in again towards her neck. She frowned and leaned away from me quickly.

"Heyyy," she said in a warning tone. I growled then before I yanked her wrist up to my lips instead and bit in before she could react. She gasped and smacked my cheek quickly. "NO!" She yelled at me. I snarled at her then tripped her up, pinning her to the bed as we fell.

"No?" I hissed out as I rubbed my stinging cheek then glared at her. She glared up at me and frowned.

"No," she told me calmly.

"Why not?" I narrowed my eyes and gripped her arms tightly. She's lucky I'm a guest here!

"Because I don't approve," she told me calmly. I clenched my jaw and stared her down before I tensed a little as my mind wandered back to Europe as I looked down into her eyes. Paris and Rose.... I watched her then slowly sat up as I felt my stone pulse in longing, missing it almost- but he did betray me... or did he? I felt my expression soften as I remembered the heartbreak in his eyes when he found me in Africa. Did he really mean to betray me? She sat up slowly as I did as she watched me. "You're troubled," she whispered. I blinked quickly then frowned at her.

"Troubled? Is it that obvious?" Damn... I don't need a girl seeing this. It's my own fault what happened, isn't it? I felt my eyes sting at the thought. I hurt him... worse than he did me, didn't I?

"Obvious to me," she whispered as she watched me before smirking. "You did something terrible and you're realizing it now."

"Shut up," I grumbled and got up quickly from her. I don't need her butting in on my life.

"You don't tell me what to do," she said and stood up quickly before she grabbed the water she had been carrying and walked away with it, humming lightly. "I'm a familiar," she told me softly. "A spirit." I looked her over then frowned before I walked towards the door.

"Let's go hunting," I said quickly and cleared my throat. I don't need to dwell on the past. I need to move into the future with my head held high- but.... I felt my stone pulse again at the thought of Paris's face the last time I saw him. I hurt him so much.... I can't believe I cheated on him... even if I was angry with him. How could I? He was my soul mate! What if he had tried to reject me? I should find him... but is that for the best?

"Good~ I'm hungry," Oz said as he appeared next to me quickly and wrapped his arm around my neck. "Let's have a good hunt," he purred out. His sister ran past us then with a playful growl.

Paris's POV:

Louis busted into my bedroom with a huge purr, throwing open the doors to my master bedroom and smirked. "Twinie~ Time to wake up! I got us a little something to enjoy today~ After all, it's our birthday."

"Our birthday?" I asked and opened my eyes to look at him. "Are you sure? I thought that was last year." He pounced into my bed and purred.

"No~ it happens every year." He pulled out a box from in his coat then tossed it to me. It was perfectly wrapped in beautiful blue paper with a silver ribbon adorning the top of the box. "Happy birthday, Paris." I smiled and eyed over the box before I sat up and took it from him. I pulled off the ribbon carefully before I opened the box. Inside was a beautiful necklace that had the distinct look like it was from Wales. He must've teleported back to England just to get it for me. It had a moon as the pendant and was faintly glowing like he had gotten it enchanted by a witch, hanging on a black leather cord.

"What's it do?" I asked him curiously as I picked it up slowly and eyed over the pendant.

"It helps with vampiric powers and it's pretty cool looking too," he said and smirked as he sat in front of me. "It changes to suit the phase of the moon."

"This is beautiful," I whispered to him before I put it on. I eyed it over as it hit my chest lightly before I looked towards him. "Don't think I didn't forget about you," I teased him as I moved into his arms and hugged him. "Happy birthday," I whispered in his ear before I gave his neck a kiss. "Your present is right here," I told him as I leaned past him and got the box out of my nightstand's drawer. I sat the long and narrow box down on his lap. Inside was a knife I had made with our last name embedded into the blade. He opened it up then gasped as he saw the blade and broke out into a purr as he pulled it out and looked it over. He turned it over in his hands then lightly touched the end of it to see how sharp it was, laughing as it made him bleed a little.

"It's beautiful~ I love it," he whispered as he looked at our last name on it, his eyes lingering over it as his expression softened at the sight. Our name.... My new one....

"That's right Louis Grimm," I purred out to him in a teasing tone. "Now that you have a blade with our family name on it, you're forever bound to fight for our family," I purred to him.

"That's so sweet," Grimm purred out as he laid down at the foot of my bed. "I have something for you two as well." Louis blushed and looked between us before he held the knife close, already looking to be cherishing his new gift from me.

"What's our present?" I asked curiously.

"Oh~" Grimm smirked before he pulled out a bottle of wine from his pants' pocket and held it out to us. "There you go." Louis took it from him and looked at the label on it curiously before he gasped in delight and opened it up, taking a sip. He moaned a little then looked at me, passing it to me.

"It's one of the best years for this wine~ You have to have some!" He said and sat the knife down gently in the box.

"I have more at home. Go ahead and drink up boys," he told us as he crossed his legs. "That's strong too because it's been sitting where I live."

"We'll have to be careful," Louis said and laughed. "We don't want to get roaring drunk on our birthday. I'd prefer to remember it."

"What? Birthdays come annually," I told him and smirked. "So, what if we can't remember one- there are thousands we already know."

"But I want to cherish each one with you," he whispered and gave me a loving look. "You're my twin."

"Fine... You can remember this one for us," I told him in a teasing tone. His eyes lingered on the bottle before he snatched it and took another sip of it. I smirked and grabbed it- taking my first sip and moaned. This was good! Louis watched me then purred as he moved closer then got into my lap, going for a bite from my neck. I gasped and leaned my neck closer to his fangs- he's going to bite me.

"Mark me!" I told him and giggled. I exposed my fangs and leaned in towards his neck and marked him quickly. He moaned then bit into me sharply, giving in as he bit in and marked me instinctively. I felt him push his weight against me, knocking us onto my back as he dug his fangs in deep. I moaned and dug mine into his neck in return. I ran my fingers across his back as I wrapped him up into my arms and held him close against me. He purred near my ear and licked my neck as he pulled out his fangs then tensed. Oh no! Edmund is going to be furious. I pulled out my fangs and licked his neck.

"Don't worry about that," I whispered to him. "He knows we don't mean to push him out of the circle."

"The last time I marked you a few days ago, he punished me," he whispered and blushed.

"Well we'll punish him if he tries to punish you for it," I purred to him and licked his neck again. "What do you want to do today? Eat a whole town?"

"Eating a town does sound fun... but... I already invited a few of our friends over," he hummed out and licked my blood up with a small smirk. "They should be on their way."

"Which friends?" I asked curiously.

"Laurence, Val, Victor, Rose, and Trick," he said then sat up quickly, looking towards Grimm then crawled towards him with a laugh. "You're staying too, right?"

"You forgot Dante," I purred out to him. "He's going to be mad about it."

"Oh... oops," Louis said then smirked like he had done it on purpose.

"You're so mean," I teased him and pushed on his shoulder playfully. "You better go get him. I don't want him even more mad at me."

"I heard from a little birdy that he's been calling you French Poodle behind your back," he grumbled then purred. "Are you sure you want him here?"

"Yeah, so I can teach him I'm not a poodle," I hissed out and glared down the ceiling. "I told him to stop calling me that. I hope you made it clear to Val that Alex is invited."

"I did," he hummed out. "He would've just come anyways. I'll go see if Dante wants to come." He disappeared from my sight then before he reappeared a few minutes later with a big red welt on his cheek like he had been smacked.

"What the heck," I hissed out and frowned.

"He thought I was you and started to get pissed and said something about how you were an ass and that he wouldn't come to your party... and then I went to try to tell him to stop calling you a French Poodle and tried to correct him on the fact I was Louis... and he smacked me," he muttered, rubbing his cheek with a pained look. "He had a ring on...."

"Oh.... well fine... We won't let him come to our party if he's got a stick up his ass," I hissed and grabbed a pillow before I pulled it into my arms. "We can have fun without him."

"I don't want him here," he said firmly then looked at me. "He would've smacked you too if you were there."

"I would've retaliated," I grumbled.

"I went to... but then this purple haired chick was after me with an insane look in her eyes, and I wasn't sticking around for that."

"Oh..." I frowned and stretched out on my bed before I got up and walked over to him. "I want to just walk around in my pajamas today," I told him and wrapped my arms around his neck before I jumped up into his arms. He caught me quickly then smirked.

"Then you can do what you want, birthday boy~" He held me close then looked towards Grimm. "Grimm, you should stick around today. Laurence is coming."

"Great," Grimm purred out. "I'm sticking around all day anyways for you both. This is one day I don't want to miss." I laid my head down on Louis's shoulder and breathed in his scent before I let out a small moan. Louis looked towards me as he heard me then slowly leaned in towards my neck, making me tilt my head as he smelled me then bit in. I gasped and gripped his shirt.

"Where are the birthday twins at?" I heard Laurence calling out from downstairs. His voice echoed like he had said it as loud as he could. Louis and I made a manor that was five stories tall and went down in the earth many floors deep- where we made a treasure room, torture chambers, a dungeon, servant quarters, a coffin floor for our sleeping newborns, and halls full of their rooms when they wake up. There were four major halls in the manor that we built. The family hall, guest hall, and two extra halls full of excess bedrooms. We planned to have a bigger family later. If we ever make our family larger, there are rooms for them. The manor was large and roomy. We built it together for a bright future. Grimm manor was large and starting to become a well-known rumor in town. Louis yanked his fangs out then teleported us to the sound of Laurence's voice, grinning as he caught sight of him.

"Laurence~ It's you! You're already here," he purred then practically dropped me, going for a hug from Laurence. Laurence gave us a huge smile as he stood by a few boxes wrapped up and Baleen carrying them.

"Hey~" Laurence purred out as he hugged Louis. I yelped as I caught myself and ran up to them- making a sandwich out of Laurence. Louis smirked at me then playfully tried to pull Laurence away from me as he exposed his fangs. Laurence laughed and pushed us both away. "Do you want your presents now or later?" He asked us.

"Now," Louis said and then kissed the top of Laurence's head, moving closer to him.

"Oh~ Okay~" Laurence purred out in amusement before he looked towards Baleen. He sat them down for us and sat them in two different piles.

"The left is Paris's pile while the right is for you," Laurence told him. I eyed over my pile of boxes. What'd he get us? Why are there so many boxes? Louis glanced them over then slowly picked up one of the boxes, opening it up as he sat on the floor by his pile. Laurence purred in amusement as Louis opened carefully wrapped shirts from his box. "I know~ I'm playing mom." Louis laughed as he held the shirts in his hand.

"Just what I needed- more shirts for my closet. I think Paris ruined the last shirt I got from you."

"Well these shirts are from London's latest fashion trends. So, you might get jealous looks if you wear them around the right crowds." He looked towards me then. "Open yours." I blushed and opened a box like Louis's to find shirts in it. Louis gasped and got up, coming over to me quickly.

"Are they the same?" He asked in excitement then smirked as he saw they were exact copies of each other. "We get to twin~"

"I thought it would be fun for you two to have matching clothes," Laurence explained. "You can go trick some people later."

"As long as Edmund can still tell us apart," Louis purred happily then returned to his boxes quickly, opening another. The next box had pants in it.

"Laurence," I said in amusement. "Is this all just clothes?"

"Maybe," Laurence hummed out.

"Saves me some money from having to go update my closet," Louis sang out and opened another box. I watched as he opened a box that was different. It had a blue book inside it. My twin paused for a moment then pulled it out slowly, opening it up as he started to flip through the pages to check it out. I eyed over the book curiously.

"It's vampire history," Laurence told him. "I thought you could add it to your library."

"We will," Louis said as he purred, reading a few of the pages. "We'll cherish it forever, Laurence. I'll have it placed right next to Paris's journals he keeps."

"Well Paris, you got one too," he told me sweetly. "You two should open the next box together in your stack." Louis nodded then grabbed the next box, looking towards me as he waited then opened it with me as I grabbed mine. I opened the box at the same time he did- eyeing over a journal inside that looked brand new. "Happy birthday boys." My twin purred loudly as he pulled his out then got up, rushing over to Laurence to give him a hug as he swept Laurence off his feet with a pleased look. I purred and eyed over the journal before I opened it up to see Laurence had written something on the first page.

Dear Paris.

This journal is for you and your big year ahead of you. Remember to keep writing in this as everything happens to you. You'll one day want to look back in this and remember the events ahead of you. With all my love- your dearest friend, Laurence.

I blushed as I eyed over what he placed inside it before I closed the journal and placed it in the box before I looked up at him in wonder. What's going to happen to me this year? Laurence watched my face as he hugged Louis. Louis hummed lightly as he kissed Laurence's head then perked up as he heard Terry's little footsteps coming our way as he came from in the dining area. He held a glass of blood in his hands, sipping on it before he paused when he saw us and brightened up.

"Master Louis!" He ran up then tackled me into a hug, latching onto me with a loud purr as he nuzzled his face against my chest. I purred and kissed the top of his head. He thinks I'm Louis... Silly.

"Guess again," I purred out to him and laughed. He widened his eyes as he looked up at me and tensed.

"P-Paris?" He asked then shrunk against me with an uh oh look, glancing towards the real Louis with a sheepish look. "Happy birthday Louis?"

"Where's my birthday wish?" I asked him and frowned. He looked up at me and blushed.

"Happy birthday to you too, Paris," he purred out then smelled me with a pleased look. He smells just like Louis~

"Thank you," I purred back to him and exposed my fangs. "I hope you remembered to get me a gift or I'll have to take something from you." He yelped then quickly handed me the glass of blood in his hand as his face heated up.

"I did, but it's up in my bedroom," he mumbled as he looked at my fangs then up at me. "Hungry?" He smiled sheepishly at me as he had me lift the glass up to my lips.

"No, you drink it," I told him as I pushed it away from my lips. "You need it more than I do, little Terry."

"LOUIS!" I heard Edmund yell as he walked into the room. "We're going out to hunt today right? Birthday boy!" Louis looked towards him then smirked.

"Of course, ~ What kind of birthday would it be without a hunt?" He teleported over to Edmund then tackled him, wrapping his arms around his neck and his legs around his waist. "Where's my kiss?" He purred and leaned in for one with a longing look. Terry looked at them then blushed as he took a sip of his glass and looked up at me. Why does master Louis always jump Edmund like that? Edmund's going to get a bad back....

"They're mates," I whispered to Terry. "They might not be soul mates butt they're as passionate as one." He blushed at me then nodded.

"I know that they love each other," he murmured then finished off his blood before he looked up at me. "Want your present now?" He grinned at me then giggled. "I think you'll love her."

"A girl?" I asked curiously as I heard Edmund giving Louis a small kiss.

"Not exactly~" He disappeared then reappeared beside me with a small white kitten in his arms. "It's white like your hair," he purred and rubbed the kitten's head as she purred and batted at his hair, flicking her tail as she moved towards his shoulder. I eyed over her fur and laughed softly. That's kind of cute... but I bet she'll need baths constantly to keep her fur white.

"She's very pretty- she reminds me of my sister." I gave Rose the throne when I moved to America with my brother. He smiled at me sweetly then gently detached her from him and passed her over to me. She mewed in my arms then looked up into my eyes. Who- Pretty~! She started to play with my hair in excitement and gnawed on it with a loud purr as Terry laughed. I suddenly heard my twin topple over with Edmund, hitting the floor as Louis stole another kiss and ran his fingers through Edmund's hair as he deepened it. I rubbed the cat's hair before I looked towards my brother.

"Louis," I called out. He pulled back a little from the kiss then looked towards me as he straddled Edmund's stomach, sitting up a little.

"What is it?" He asked me and licked his lips with a loud purr. He glanced down at Edmund and went for another kiss quickly. Edmund crossed his arms and placed them behind his head as he watched Louis.

"Are you having fun?" I asked. Louis purred in response and started to kiss Edmund slowly, running his fingers along his boyfriend's cheek to encourage him. Edmund pulled away from the kiss and sat up quickly.

"Alright, you can get your birthday wishes later," he whispered to Louis. "When we're ready for bed." Louis smirked then and kissed his neck.

"Tonight? I think I can manage to survive till then," he teased and started to give Edmund a love bite on his neck.

"You have to try," Edmund told him as he pushed his lips away. Louis nodded then wrapped his arms around Edmund before he smiled happily and looked towards me. He reached out for me with a purr and leaned his head against Edmund's shoulder.

"There they are," I heard my sweet sister's voice as she walked into the room. "There's my twin brothers. Happy birthday," she purred out to us. Louis purred and teleported over to her quickly then kissed her cheek.

"Thanks sis," he said then smirked. "Want to come hunting with us?"

"No thanks. I'm not much of a hunter. I'll stay here and wait for you to come home."

"Are you sure?" Louis asked and raised an eyebrow. I felt Terry move a little closer to me before he grabbed my hand, and he started to turn it over in his hands, tracing the lines on the palm of my hand. He laughed softly before he blushed and bit his bottom lip. Even the lines on his hands are like master Louis's.... They're both so handsome... almost like angels... but they're not. They're more demonic than anything. His blush deepened, making his cheeks turn beet red as he accidentally squeezed my hand- his heart racing. I eyed him over before I smirked and leaned in towards his lips while he was thinking and gave him a small kiss.

"I'm sure," Rose told our brother. "I'd rather play a game with a servant... Just let me know when you get back here, so I'm not left out of the fun time." Terry gasped a little and looked up at me quickly, his eyes shocked as his heart skipped a beat. I felt his hand tighten on mine as he looked like an embarrassed, flustered mess.

"P-Paris," he whispered and then quickly hid his face into my chest as a small noise escaped him.

"Yes?" I asked softly. I caught Rose watching us with interest.

"Why'd you kiss me?" He mumbled then wrapped his arms around my neck. I could feel his heart pounding in his chest, almost audible enough for me to hear it. His head was racing back towards the kiss as I felt his face against my neck, hiding as his face was hot with his flusteredness.

"Because I can," I whispered to Terry and smirked as I wrapped my arms around him. "Besides, we both know you're mine." He tensed a little.

"Nuh-uh, I'm Louis's," he said quickly and pulled back from my neck a little. Louis looked towards us then with a frown.

"You are not," I teased Terry. "You're mine," I told him firmly. "Louis gave you to me~" I looked towards Louis and smirked as I gave Terry a kiss on the top of his head.

"I did not," Louis said and frowned, eyeing the two of us over. "He's my newborn. Get your own, Paris~" Terry blushed and went to move away a little, looking towards Louis innocently.

"No~ I decided to take this one. He'll visit you," I promised and pulled Terry back to me. "Besides, Terry wants to be mine."

"No, he doesn't. He belongs with his maker," Louis said and started towards us. Terry blushed and shrunk down into my arms.

"Louis, he kissed me," he mumbled and reached out for Louis's hand.

"What?" I asked and smirked. "You think he belongs with his maker?" I asked curiously before I leaned down into Terry's neck and bit down into it before I marked him- letting my venom seep into him. Terry moaned sharply and sunk into my arms, tilting his head back as his body melted against mine. I heard a loud purr stir up in him as his fingers found it's way into my hair, getting tangled up in it. Louis widened his eyes and went to yank Terry away from me. I smirked and pulled my fangs out of Terry's neck and smacked Louis's hand away. "Mine," I purred out.

"You can't have him," he said and exposed his fangs, looking from me to Terry then back at me. "That's my newborn! I made him. Besides... you might break his heart," he grumbled and tsked. Terry nuzzled his head against my chest with a purr and snuggled up to me as he tugged lightly on my hair affectionately.

"I'm your twin," I whined out. "How could you say something like that? I'd never break his heart~ I might eat it though for dessert."

"Grrrrrr, what about R-I-C-H-A-R-D-O?" He asked me and frowned as he reached for Terry again.

"He's not around," I whined out. "He hasn't been for a very long time. You get sex all the time Louis, but I haven't had it in decades-"

"My ears," Rose whispered.

"I'm a very needy pureblood who doesn't have a mate anymore because he dumped him on an island. Now I'm manning up and moving on to someone sweet and you're going to try to deny me it?" I asked and frowned. "I want a mate. Terry is sweet and I can be good to him." I kissed the top of Terry's head and purred in his ear. "So, don't go bringing up R names." Louis hesitated and watched us then frowned.

"F-fine... but if you hurt Terry, I'll kick your ass," he grumbled. "I don't want Terry to cry to me about you.... He's too sweet to be hurt."

"I'd never," I whispered and kissed Terry on the cheek. "Terry you want to be my mate right? I bet you've been wanting to scratch an itch you have," I teased him.

"Well then," Rose huffed out. "Laurence little children can't be hearing this stuff, let's get you to another room."

"I'm not a kid," Laurence chuckled out. "I know about these things."

"Come on," Rose told him as she tugged him out of the room. Baleen followed them with a small chuckle. Terry blushed and looked up at me.

"I-itch?" He asked me then squirmed a little in my arms. Mate?

"Yeah," I husked out. "You and I are going to have a good time tonight scratching it."

"I don't have an itch," he said then frowned at me. "Your shoulders do but... I don't."

"You don't?" I asked and laughed. "You will soon." I kissed his neck again before I purred in his ear. "I'll teach you all about itches and scratches."

"I don't want my shoulders torn up," he whined at me then pouted. Louis held back a laugh then walked towards Edmund, pulling him towards him.

"Terry, if my twin bothers you or does something you don't like, let me know, okay?" Louis said then started to lead Edmund in the direction of the others. Terry watched him go with a disappointed look then looked up at me.

"Don't worry~" I purred out and smirked towards Terry. "I'll be very gentle with the kitty." I kissed the white cat on the head that I had been holding. "Right?" I eyed Terry up then.

"You better treat the kitty nice," he said and looked towards the kitten before he smiled and petted her head, watching as she leaned in and licked his fingers with a pleased look. "She's sweet~ I love her."

"She's very adorable," I purred out and rubbed her head. He giggled and looked at me then nodded before he pulled away from me.

"She likes tuna~" He told me then hummed happily, going for where Louis had disappeared to. I followed him but stopped as I came across a maid.

"Hello," I purred out to her. "This is a gift from my dear friend Terry," I told her as I placed the cat in her hands. "Will you oversee taking care of her for me and making sure she's well kept. Place her in my room and take care of her. She's special to me and I want the best for her. She should be given high attention- especially when I'm not there to watch her- such as now." I told her. She eyed over the cat in awe.

"Yes sir," she told me. "I'll take care of her."

"Thank you," I purred out. I caught Terry glancing back towards us before he smiled sweetly then bounced off down the hall, poking his head into a room that the door was left open on. His face brightened up and he rushed in, probably finding Louis. I followed him and glanced around for my twin. I don't want to lose him on my birthday- on ours. Terry had pushed Edmund out of Louis's lap and was curled up to him with a sweet look as he giggled and leaned into bite Louis. Laughing, my twin tilted his head and rubbed Terry's back as he let him then grinned as he looked towards Edmund with a pleased look. I frowned and walked up to them before I snatched Terry from him and placed him in my lap as I sat down in Louis's lap.

"Heyyyy you should be biting me," I told Terry.

"I'll bite you," Louis growled out playfully and leaned in towards my neck, biting in with a moan. Terry laughed a little as he watched us then smiled happily.

"Master Louis has you now though," he teased me then laid his head against my chest over my stone, listening to it. I gasped and felt my stone pulse lightly toward my twin's stone. It was happy to be near his.

"I- I love you," I whispered to him. Louis purred in response as his pulsed back to me. I felt his fangs sink in deeper as he let another moan slip. I melted against him and closed my eyes in pure bliss. I felt Terry run his fingers across my cheek, getting a little curious as he watched me then laughed as he cupped my cheek and leaned in, kissing my other one. Edmund eyed us over and smirked.

"You three are adorable," he whispered before he kissed Louis on the cheek. Louis pulled his fangs out quickly and snatched Edmund's shirt, yanking him into a kiss as he purred loudly by my ear. Edmund purred and kissed him back before pulling slightly away and licked his lips before he yanked Terry into his lap and gave his cheek a kiss. Terry blushed and looked at Edmund before he eyed over Edmund's neck and leaned in, biting in gently as he started to drink from him. Louis smirked and wrapped his arms around my waist as he watched the two of them. I purred before I gave him a small kiss on his cheek.

"I bet going out to town will be fun for us," I purred to him. Laurence walked into the room with a plate of cookies and milk but tensed up as my vision blurred.

"There's a rumor of vampire twins up north- in Maine, sir. They live in a manor called Grimm. I think it's worth looking into."

My vision cleared before I could get a good image of a tree line and a clouded window. There was a small feeling- very familiar like a horse drawn carriage. What was that? I looked towards Laurence as he seemed to be trying to act like nothing happened.

"What?" Laurence asked as he caught me looking at him.

"What was it?" I asked softly.

"Nothing," he told me sharply. Louis looked between us then frowned a little before he kissed my cheek then smirked.

"How about that hunt?" He asked me then gave a playful growl. "I'm itching to bite into someone fresh." He exposed his fangs then ran them along my skin with a purr. Terry jumped up then and purred, looking excited at the idea of a hunt.

"Yeah~ Let's go hunting!" He said and smiled widely before he went towards Laurence and grabbed his hand. "Want to share a human, Laurence?"

"Sure~ I'd love a human or two," Laurence purred out to him. I smiled softly and stood up. Laurence is hiding something from me... but that's fine. He's always looked for the best in things. Louis got up before he smirked and grabbed my hand before he grabbed Edmund's and we were suddenly standing out in the street of the nearby town. Louis stretched and walked forward a bit but stopped suddenly as he heard a low growl from behind us, the smell of wolf strong in the air. I frowned and looked over my shoulder quickly. Wolf...

"Hello," I purred out. Laurence appeared next to us with our boys and frowned as he smelled the air. "My name is Paris, and this is Louis. We are the Grimm brothers." A small black wolf stepped out from in the shadows, laying his ears back as he snarled lightly at us. He sniffed the air and put another paw forth as he shifted his weight, his fur bristling. His eyes lingered on us as he flattened his ears back, but I could see his body was lightly shaking- looking a little starved. I frowned before I looked him over. I glanced towards Laurence expectantly. Laurence gave a huge smile as he made his shadows bring him a big juicy cut of raw beef. He walked up towards the black wolf slowly- holding it out to him.

"Here you go," he whispered. "Have it." The wolf perked his ears up as he saw the meat then lifted his head slightly in confusion before he sniffed at the meat then approached a little more, his growls subsiding. He looked up at Laurence then at the meat before he slowly took it from him then growled lightly as he sunk to his belly and started to eat, wagging his tail from being fed as he watched us carefully like he was nervous we'd come take it from him. Laurence chuckled as he watched him and slowly turned back to me.

"Aren't you glad I'm here?" He asked teasingly. I nodded and gave him a grateful smile. Louis eyed the wolf over with a frown then peered deeper into the shadows before he looked at Laurence.

"Why is that one alone?" He asked and then eyed the wolf over. "They travel in groups...." The wolf finished off the meat and sniffed the ground before he licked the remainders off it then looked towards Laurence, slowly crawling over towards him and sniffed his hand.

"Sometimes wolves are rogues," Laurence explained. "For various reasons. Are you a rogue?" He asked the wolf as he held out his hand toward the wolf. The wolf sneezed then flattened his ears before he looked Laurence over and then tackled Laurence to the ground. He laid down on him then huffed as he looked down into Laurence's face then growled lightly. How rude.... Just because I'm alone, you assume I'm a rogue? Well... He whined then and lowered his head as he watched Laurence. I saw a heartbroken look enter his eyes, the loneliness in them hitting me hard as he laid his head on Laurence's chest and curled his black tail close to his body. Alpha told me to get lost....

"He is," I whispered softly as I eyed him over.

"Poor guy," Laurence purred out. "Why would a perfectly good wolf like you get thrown out of a pack? Some alpha..." Louis frowned and grabbed my hand as he watched the wolf then furrowed his eyebrows. The alpha got mad and told me I wasn't welcome there anymore and to get lost.... He said I was a waste of food and that the pack would be better off if I wasn't with them anymore.... The beta never liked me either.

"Oh, so you were just an omega?" I asked and smirked. "Your alpha gets rid of his poor instead of doing something about it. He's unworthy of being an alpha." The wolf looked up at me then whimpered. My alpha is a good alpha. The wolf looked me over then shrunk back slightly on top of Laurence. How can you hear me? I didn't breathe in your face.... Louis frowned as he watched the wolf then slowly approached it before he held out his hand and went to pet it but the wolf growled lightly.

"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you if you don't hurt me," Louis whispered then moved a little slower before he started to rub the wolf behind his ears. The wolf melted a little and calmed down, moving closer towards him then wagged his tail as he watched my twin.

"Who knows~ Maybe I'm part wolf," I teased the wolf. Laurence went to slowly sit up then as he eyed the wolf over cautiously. The wolf shifted into his lap and didn't growl at him, wagging his tail happily as he licked Louis's hand and gave a pleased look. Louis smirked then slowly made the wolf turn over onto his back and started to rub the wolf's tummy.

"Awww, you're so cute~ I might take you home with me," he purred then watched as the wolf kicked his back leg as he flicked his ears and gave a small growl towards Louis's belly rub.

"What if I want him?" Laurence asked and puffed out his cheeks. "I fed him." Louis tsked then.

"Do you really want a pet though?" Louis asked him then pouted. The wolf sneezed and rolled back onto his stomach before he panted then flicked one of his ears then laid it back, keeping one up as he looked around then perked both up.

"I don't have one... and you have three," Laurence grumbled.

"F-fine," Louis said and blushed. "You're right... I have Paris, Edmund, and Terry.... I can give you this one." The wolf looked between them then gave a small bark before he got onto his feet and sniffed the air. He suddenly shrunk down as he heard a howl off in the distance then began to tremble as he lowered his ears. Alpha... he caught my scent....

"That's okay, he's not going to come after you once he picks up that I've got you," I told him. "Now that our scents collided, he can't come for you. He shouldn't even be in my territory- you're lucky you're being permitted here," I teased him. I made sure every pack knew this was Grimm territory. Especially the alphas of the packs nearby. But this is alpha's territory.... He looked up at me then whined as he lowered his head. He'll be angry if he catches us.... "This is my territory and my brother's. We'll run him out." He seemed to hesitate but relaxed after a minute before nodded then looked up at Laurence, sniffing his chest. He sniffed his face then barked a little before he licked Laurence's cheek. Laurence laughed and rubbed his head.

"Hey... don't lick me," Laurence warned him. The wolf gave a mischievous look before he knocked Laurence onto his back again and barked at him, wagging his tail some more. He sniffed Laurence's hair then chewed at it slightly. Laurence gasped and pushed the wolf off before he stood up quickly and ran up to me before he got behind me. "Nevermind, you can have him- he bites." The wolf sneezed then looked towards Laurence, lowering his head before he growled a little. Have me? Louis purred and snatched the wolf, hugging it before he started to rub behind the wolf's ears, distracting it. Terry laughed then appeared by them, starting to pet the wolf too as the wolf shook his fur and panted as he gave a pleased look and laid down. Laurence watched them from by me and gripped my arm tightly as he watched them.

"You're such a scaredy cat. He's just a big old love puppy~" Louis said and laughed as he kissed the top of the wolf's head then wrinkled up his nose. "You need a bath." I'm not a puppy! I'm a full-grown werewolf! The wolf snarled a little and flattened his ears back before he huffed into Louis's face and went to stand up but was stopped as Terry laughed and held him, wrapping his arms around him.

"I'm not scared," Laurence said quickly and frowned.

"Uh huh~ You know he wasn't going to actually bite you. He was just tasting your hair," Louis said and smirked as he rubbed the wolf's ears. "See? He's innocent~ I'll keep him and make him my guard dog~ Want to come home with me? I'll feed you and give you a nice warm bed to sleep in," he said then grinned.

"He's not sleeping with us right?" Edmund asked and wrinkled up his nose. "He better not sleep with us. It's bad enough we have two extra tag a-longs sometimes. We don't need another. The bed isn't that big."

"Aww, he could sleep at the foot of the bed if we all have a slumber party," Louis said then smirked. "Or we could get a bigger bed~ Would you like that?" He winked then and gave him a playful look. "We'd have more space to play~"

"I just want us in bed," Edmund muttered stubbornly. "You're lucky I let you in it." Louis growled at him then and narrowed his eyes.

"What was that?" He asked then tsked before he looked down at the wolf, frowning. I'm his mate. He shouldn't tell me I'm lucky I get in bed with him. Besides, it's my bed.... Louis pulled the wolf closer to him then hugged him.

"I like sleeping alone," Edmund admitted. "But that doesn't mean I don't love you any less than I do now.... Don't look all upset."

"I love you too," Louis murmured then brightened up. "I could sleep with Paris tonight and let you have the bed to yourself. It is our birthday after all." He smirked then and looked towards me. "What do you think?"

"O-okay," I whispered and smirked. "I guess I don't get birthday sex.... Too bad, Terry," I purred out towards him in a teasing tone. "I was looking forward to it." Terry frowned then.

"Birthday sex?" He asked then tightened his grip on the wolf's fur. "Who said anything about sex?" He blushed a little then and bit his bottom lip.

"I did," I purred out to him.

"We've only kissed once," Terry mumbled as his blush deepened. Louis eyed the two of us over then rubbed the wolf's ear as he smirked.

"I could always sleep with Laurence I guess," he hummed out. "Or Rose...."

"You can't sleep with Rose," Laurence said quickly. "That's my job. Sleep with your twin."

"What? You're not sleeping with my sister," Louis said then smirked. "Now I'll have to sleep with you."

"It's not like I'd do anything," Laurence told him innocently.

"What happened to sleeping with me?" I asked. He smirked at me then and purred.

"Don't you want to cuddle with Terry instead?" He asked me, making Terry blush a deep shade of red.

"Master Louis!" He whined then frowned. "Why don't we all just sleep together in the living room? We could camp out together in there and enjoy each other's company... and Edmund could sleep on the bed like he wanted." Louis nodded thoughtfully before he smiled.

"That's fine with me," he hummed out then leaned over the wolf and kissed Terry's temple. "We can camp out in the living room if everyone is okay with it."

"H-hey," I frowned as I watched them.

"What?" Terry asked me then smiled. "I think it's a nice idea~ We could all snuggle up together and tell stories." Louis smirked and reached past the wolf for Terry and hugged him.

"My little sweet and innocent Terry," he whispered then chuckled. "Don't ever change."

"Hmph," I grumbled as I watched them. Darn it.... I'm going to end up thinking I'm a virgin if I keep at this abstinence thing. My birthday is just another huge reminder of how long it's been since I last was with... Richard in that way... I frowned and rubbed at my shoulder before I felt my hand slipping under my shirt as I began to scratch there. Louis glanced towards me then exposed his fangs before he was right in front of me, snatching my hand away from my back. He held it in his hand then gently gave my hand a kiss before he shot me a look.

"Don't scratch up your beautiful shoulders," he scolded. I nodded as I looked towards my hand and frowned.

"I-I know," I whispered to him. It's not like I can help it... I looked down at the ground quickly. "I think I'll sleep alone tonight," I whispered to him.

"No," Louis told me firmly then smirked, yanking me into a hug. "We're sleeping together~ My sweet twin. We have so many birthdays to make up for~" I nodded and gave him a small purr as I leaned in toward his shoulder and laid my head down on it. He kissed the side of my head then purred lightly at me before he bit down into my shoulder.

"Hey, I didn't realize the party already started without me~" I heard Victor purr out from nearby before he came out of the shadows in the alleyway. "Damn, I need to start getting here earlier~ Rose told me you all ran off to go hunting. I brought a little vodka for us~"

"Uh-oh, now we'll spend five days hunting and think it's still their birthday," Edmund laughed out as he watched Victor. "Always the life of the party."

"Aww, come here," Victor purred with a smirk before he appeared right in front of Edmund with a laugh. "You're the first one to get drunk." He handed him the bottle of vodka that was in his hands and gave him a playful look. "Drink or get bit."

"What an interesting choice- how will I ever choose? I hope you have more than one bottle on you this time Vic." He started to chug the vodka then. Victor watched him and smirked before he inched his way into Edmund's neck and went to bite down, wrapping his arms around him quickly to keep him from running. Edmund gasped and leaned away from Victor's fangs as quick as he could.

"That's Louis's side. Switch," he told him in amusement.

"Louis doesn't get a whole side of your neck," Victor grumbled, making Louis tense up on me. "I'll bite you where I want to bite you." He sunk his fangs in quickly before Edmund could make a fuss about it again. Edmund groaned and squirmed a little against Victor.

"He's my mate though," Edmund whined out. "He gets all of me." Victor purred a little louder than before I smelled his venom running through Edmund like he was trying to mess with him. Louis growled and pulled his fangs out of my shoulder, shooting a glare at the two. Edmund moaned a little and melted against Victor's arms. "V-victor," he husked out. Does Victor have a death wish? Louis snarled finally and ditched me entirely, going for the two of them with a jealous look. He snatched Victor off him and threw him towards the boxes in the alleyway with a hiss, looking satisfied as Victor yelped and fell into them. Edmund rubbed his head before he yanked Louis close to him and used him for support.

"Where's that little fox you use to carry around? Trick?" I asked Victor curiously. "Did you leave him with Rose?"

"Yeah... he's almost 60. I can't bring him too many places or he might break a bone... or get sick... or die," Victor grumbled as he crawled out of the boxes then widened his eyes as he saw a large splinter stuck in his hand. He sat up then started to tug at it with a hiss. "Did you have to throw me in the boxes?"

"Of course, you're lucky it wasn't off a building for touching my mate," Louis hissed and wrapped his arms around Edmund. "Get your own."

"He will," Laurence purred out in amusement.

"Oh, who is it?" Louis asked him quickly, turning his head to look at him. "Is it Val? Or does Alex get Val for good?"

"It doesn't matter... There's still a few more centuries before they decide to get together intimately."

"So, they know each other.... It is Val~" Louis purred then smirked. "Didn't she use to be your fiancé?"

"Yeah," I heard Val say as she walked up to us and crossed her arms. "I wouldn't go thinking we're getting together though. I have a shadow everywhere I go," she looked over her shoulder at Alex.

"I'm not a shadow," he hissed then paused at the entrance to alleyway like his eyes had caught something- a girl. He smirked and started to walk off. "See ya~"

"Save some for me," I purred out as I watched him.

"Yeah Alex, some of us want to hunt too. So, don't pause time and get the whole town without us," Laurence warned. Alex's lips curled up into a mischievous smirk before he whistled and headed off towards the girl, picking a rose from a bush as he passed it then held it out to her.

"Ma'am, I think you dropped this," he teased and gave her a kind smile.

"W-t-thank you," she gasped out as she looked towards the rose and slowly grabbed it- but she pricked her finger on a thorn.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Alex said then pulled out a handkerchief before he wrapped her finger up with a purr. "I didn't mean for you to get cut. You're too lovely to be pricked." She blushed as she eyed him over.

"You're too kind," she whispered to him. He smiled at her then.

"Thank you, ma'am. Those are nice words," he said then looked around. "Are you walking by yourself? Would you like me to help you get to where you're going? It would be horrible for thieves to target a young lady such as yourself."

"It would be helpful to have an escort," she told him and gave it a thought. "I'm headed to the library," she explained to him. "You could walk me if you wish it." He nodded then took her arm in his before he quickly dethorned the rose and gave it to her with a small smirk.

"I'll make sure that the nasty thieves leave you alone," he said then started to walk her off with a cheerful expression. I could hear them starting to discuss their names then. Val's jaw clenched as she watched him.

"Too bad she doesn't know the real him," Val grumbled out.

"You could always mess with him and go after him calling him your fiancé and smack him in front of her," Victor purred out as he finally got the splinter out.

"No," she said and sighed. She looked towards him then. "You know what~ Since we're all in America together we should travel after the twin's birthday. I heard there's riches on the other side of this continent."

"I wouldn't mind.... I'll have to see about what I'll do with Trick though," Victor purred and got to his feet. "I don't want to leave him completely on his own... and he's so old." Louis eyed him over then leaned his face into Edmund's neck, giving it a small kiss before he bit in where Victor had and remarked him. Edmund gasped and let out a pleased purr.

"You could leave Trick with us," I suggested. "That saves him from the trouble of being on the road with you. We'll take care of him while you're with Val. If anything comes up we can find you."

"Trick will be fine with them," Laurence told Victor. "We won't spend that much time away from him either."

"Alright, I'll leave Trick in Paris and Louis's hands," Victor purred out then appeared right next to Laurence, scooping him off his feet. "Hunt with me and Val? We can let the twins go hunt with Louis's pets."

"Hmm... Four against four? Sounds fun- Alex is on our team."

"Team? Sounds like a good competition," I purred out.

"Let's drink the town dry~" Victor purred out then disappeared with Laurence. The wolf suddenly let out a small growl and lowered his ears as he watched us. YOU CAN'T DRINK THE TOWN DRY! He bristled his fur then and stood up, looking from where they had been to me.

"We won't kill most of them- they usually end up becoming our newborns and adding on to our armies when we do this. Don't look so mad or I'll toss you out of my territory like yesterday's garbage. My brother and I will not stand for some little pup to tell us what we can and can't do in our own territory." The wolf lowered his head as he watched me before he whined a little. But they all have human lives.... Isn't it wrong? "Vampires have to eat and princes have to form armies. We never know when we're going to fight another one over stupid things." I smirked then. "I'll show you our manor and what's under it soon." The wolf watched me then relaxed a little before he walked towards me and sniffed at my feet. Terry laughed as he watched then came over and wrapped his arms around me, leaning his face into my neck with a small blush. I purred and gave Terry another kiss on his lips. Val let out a small scoff before she disappeared- muttering about getting left behind. Terry looked up towards me then bit his bottom lip before he leaned in and gave me another kiss, trying it out. I could hear Louis laughing a little at us as he walked over and took the wolf, teleporting to take it home. I gave a small moan before I tore my lips away and looked longingly for my twin. Why didn't he send Edmund to do that? Today is my birthday- he can't leave me!

He appeared back after a few minutes and hummed lightly as he snatched Edmund's hand and smirked, looking towards me. "Ready?" He asked and exposed his fangs. Terry purred and moved out of my arms to go towards my twin with a happy look. I exposed my fangs as I eyed over my twin.

"Don't leave me again," I told him firmly. "Today is our day." Louis widened his eyes slightly before he smirked.

"Today is our day?" He asked then purred. "Who said that you could tell me where I could go, twinie?"

"I- I did," I whispered as I watched him longingly. "I don't like being away from you." His eyes locked onto mine before he was in front of me suddenly and pushed me up against a wall, biting into my neck with a moan. I moaned and grabbed his shirt quickly as I felt my heart race at the suddency, but my stone gave an excited pulse at his since we were so close. I felt his pulse back at mine before he dug his fangs in deeper and wrapped his arms around me, pushing his weight against mine as a small growl escaped him. I gave him a playful growl as I exposed my neck more for him. "Louis," I moaned out. After a few seconds, I felt his venom seep into my veins as he tugged lightly on my hair and purred. This is my twin and no one else's twin. I swear I'll kick Richard's ass if he ever shows back up again to hurt Paris.... I purred lightly as I listened to his thoughts... "I love you," I whispered to him. "I'll do anything for you.... I want to be the best I can be for you." He pulled his fangs out and looked me in the eyes before a small smirk formed on his face.

"You better be the best you can be for me because I do everything I can for you," he whispered. "That manor isn't just a house. We built that together.... That's ours, and it's a sign of our love for each other," he told me then kissed my cheek. "Don't ever forget it."

"Never! I want to live in it for as long as I have... Eternity." I eyed him over and smirked back towards him. "It's never not going to be a part of who I am... Who you are... or who we are together." He purred at me then ran his fingers through my hair.

"Screw true mates when you have a twin," he murmured then touched my cheek, making visions of the island beach dance through my head. "We don't need fate giving us mates. We'll make our own fate." I nodded and gave a huge smile.

"I'm so happy I found you," I whispered to him. "I can't believe we never met before then."

"We did at the ball," he whispered then laughed. "You have to remember that I was hidden away from the world when my adoptive parents were alive."

"I know...." I trailed off and gave his cheek a kiss. "It's terrible I didn't realize though when we smelled so much alike. It even tricked our friends." He kissed my cheek back then smirked.

"Well... it's not like Grimm was floating between the two of us... talking to both of us. He could've said something, but he didn't."

"I was too busy enjoying the world Laurence had idealized in his head," Grimm explained from off against a dark wall. Louis tensed then looked towards Grimm before his eyes lit up.

"Grimm~" He purred and ditched me, running up to him. "It feels like it's been forever~"

"I've been here this whole time," Grimm told him. "Watching quietly."

"Yeah, but you didn't say anything since the bedroom," Louis grumbled. "You're sneaky sometimes."

"I'm sneaky always. I'm a demon. You're part demon too so you should know." Louis bit his bottom lip before he smirked a little.

"True..." he whispered then gave Grimm a playful look. "Are you going to stay with us all day?"

"That's the plan," Grimm told him. "Now go back to your twin and make sure to give him extra love. He's your younger brother after all."

"You're our great grandfather. You should be showing us both love," he pointed out then crossed his arms. "Where's my hug?"

"Needy," Grimm grumbled. "Do you want a hug for your birthday?" Louis seemed to be thinking it over before he purred.

"That and that you spend the whole day with us until we pass out," Louis purred at him.

"That's terrible. I'll give it to you next year. I already gave you wine for your birthday this year."

"But Grimm," Louis grumbled then eyed him over before he tackled Grimm into a hug, snatching one anyways. Grimm laughed and rubbed the top of his head.

"Easy little tackler," he told him. "You were already getting one of those things." Louis nodded then purred before he let Grimm go then walked over to me, snatching my hand.

"Grimm, do you ever drink blood?" Louis asked curiously and looked towards him. "Or is it just the misery of souls that you drink?"

"I don't drink or eat anything," Grimm told him. "Not unless I'm interested in the flavor." He walked up to us and eyed me over. "Sometimes I wait eternity for food." Louis watched Grimm and gripped my hand a little tighter as he eyed over the look Grimm was giving me.

"Well... that stinks. You probably will have to wait till the end of days for food... and even then, you probably still won't get food," Louis told him and hugged me, kissing my cheek.

"You two gained the thirst of blood from the woman I mated with," Grimm explained to him.

"Whatever happened to her? Does she live in hell with you?" Louis asked curiously and looked him over.

"As a stone," he told him. "She was a pureblood." He gave a loving look then. "I loved her."

"Why don't you make her into a demon... or try to bring her stone back to a better form?" Louis asked and then purred. "I'm sure it's not impossible."

"I have better things to do, like watch after you and Paris." Louis nodded then purred before he looked towards me then smirked.

"Want to go hunting before Val and Victor manage to eat the whole town and Laurence laughs at us?" He asked me then gave a playful growl. "We have a lot to catch up on, I'd imagine."

"Of course, I want to," I purred out hungrily. I want to eat and eat and eat and show off my huge appetite to my twin. I smirked at the thought. "Race you." He smirked and disappeared from me then with a laugh to get a head start on me. Twins are amazing... I wouldn't have this any other way. I've longed for so long to have him by my side- now that I do, I won't let go so easily. I teleported out of the alley and into the town's center- hearing the roar of screams from them already discovering vampires were amongst them. "Happy birthday," I whispered to myself. This is a huge treat.
