Baylorik's POV:
"Baylorik!" Laurence shouted at me as he pushed open the doors to the treasure room. He was heavy built in armor and had a sword in his hand that was shaking a bit. "Hide the eggs in the gold with your female and join me now. I need you to protect this castle. I forgot to tell you that the bells mean an invasion. There are vampire hunters attacking my castle," he said quickly and let out a shaky breath. "There's so many of them." He gave a hurt expression then. I glanced towards him then lifted my head. Is he alright? I glanced down at Divya then gave a soft growl towards her, nudging her with my head towards a pile of gold.
"Do as he tells you to. Take the two eggs and hide them in there with you," I whispered then licked her body. "It'll be fine. Bite anyone that isn't me that comes near our eggs."
"I will," Divya promised and took her eggs quickly into the pile as she was told. I could hear her burying them even deeper. Laurence's footsteps faded up the stairs then. I looked the pile over before I nudged it a little to hide where she went in then went after Laurence quickly, slamming the door shut behind me with my tail.
"Laurence," I purred out and raced after him before I nudged him from behind. "What's the matter? You're shaking. You've killed hundreds of your kind before." I don't know why he's so concerned. This isn't that bad.
"I've lost two friends already," he told me. "I didn't see this in time because I was too excited about giving Dante a ring, and I'm certain my friends are going to be mad about this when it's over." He muttered. "Plus, it's vampire hunters which means I have to be careful in this art of war along with everyone else that's a vampire fighting along by my side. Plus, I couldn't find Mayloi, Baleen, or Timothy before I came to get you." He ran his shaky fingers through his hair. "Just try not to die out there," he laughed out softly.
"I'm not going to die," I told him and then licked the top of his head. Which two did he lose? "If they blame you, I'll eat them~ You should've come for me first."
"I think they're in hiding," he whispered. "Together." I sniffed the air then for Mayloi and twitched my tail as I caught his scent faintly along with Timothy's.
"Timothy has Mayloi for sure," I whispered to him. "I don't smell their blood." There is the servant quarters. Perhaps they're there.
"We'll find them later. Let's protect the castle," Laurence told me and started into a light jog up the stairs. "They're all at the main entrances of my castles. There are a few scattered in different places but that's it. We'll take them out. You can use your fire on them. They're just humans." I purred loudly at the thought. Barbequed humans~ My specialty!
"Good," I snarled. "I'll eat them for invading my treasure hoard!" I rushed past him and roared ferociously, going for the front of the castle. They aren't touching my eggs and mate!
"THE ONES INSIDE CAN BE DEALT WITH BY ME! SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THEM!" He called after me before his voice faded from behind me. If my master says so~ I busted out of the castle outside and snarled, letting loose some of my flames as I saw a few of the attackers nearby, scorching them into black smudges on the earth. No one is touching my castle today, not like this!
After getting everyone dealt with outside, I nudged my way back in to the castle and glanced around, growling as I picked a few swords out of my legs with my teeth. I caught Laurence surrounded by some hunters as he was fighting them off with his sword. Paris teleported into the room and raced up to help Laurence slay them. I snarled and went after the hunters, swiping a few against the walls with my tail and heard their bones crunch from the impact. Paris gave me a huge smile.
"Baylorik~! Did you have a nice barbeque outside?" He asked me. I heard a few hunters snicker. I growled and looked at the hunters before I narrowed my eyes and went for one quickly. Little bastards. I'll teach them. They widened their eyes and scattered from each other quickly but one of them stood there confused before raising his eyes as he saw me coming. I snarled as I reached him and leaned my face down to his, puffing smoke into his face as I felt my fire starting to collect in my chest again. I let out an ear-shattering growl as I flared out my wings and went to bite down into him. He let out a scream and took off running before I could bite him. Paris went after the scattering ones quickly. I cackled and went after him, pleased he was running. I'm going to turn him into my little play toy! He ran straight out the doors then, ditching the castle. I laughed and went outside after him, giving a purr before I knocked him to the ground and put my claws over him to trap him. He let out a scream and widened his eyes as he rolled over to look up at me. I looked at him then growled, leaning down to his throat and sniffed it. He let out a frightened scream and tried to get out from under my claw. I think I'll give him to Laurence as a gift~ He'll enjoy playing with him too! I scooped him up into my jaws then shook all his weapons off him before I headed back inside with a loud purr, keeping my head up high proudly. Maybe Laurence will like me if I give him a play toy. I felt him squirming and letting out a panicked scream. I found Laurence inside taking care of the hunter's surrounding him and looked to be winning. I purred and went up to him before I knocked the hunter over for him and swiped my tail behind me swiftly to make sure no one was trying to sneak up behind me. Laurence glanced up at me and tightened his jaw.
"Is that a hunter?" He asked me. I leaned my head down towards him and purred, fluttering my wings before I dropped the hunter and put my claws over him again to cage him to the floor.
"I got you a play toy for afterwards~!" I told him and laughed as I watched Laurence.
"Thanks," he muttered. "I could use some fresh blood." I nodded then licked Laurence before I looked down at the hunter and scooped him up into my jaws with a snarl before I went towards a group of hunters fighting Richard. Laurence ran off then, going towards another main entrance and disappeared into shadows. I helped Richard out, holding onto my captive tightly before I watched him glance up at me after he was freed from his fight then look around for Paris. I couldn't hear near as much fighting anymore, like it was almost all over. I shook the man in my jaws with a playful growl, wanting to hear him scream again. He let out a scream and tried to get out of my jaws.
"Richard, the invasion is dying down. I'm going to go help Laurence in the back entrance. There's still a fight going on there." Paris told him as he killed the last one near him and took off running in the direction Laurence left. Richard watched him closely then looked around the room before he started to check bodies, making sure they were all dead. I glanced him over then went to follow Paris, playfully tensing my jaw up to scare the man in my jaws. I felt him tremble as it tightened around him. We found Laurence fighting off a group of hunters and forcing them out of his castle's doors. I watched him then purred, seeing he was doing alright before I spat the man out from my jaws and snarled at him, giving him a sharp glare like I was going to eat him then trapped him under my claws. He panicked and closed his eyes tightly- looking away from me.
"ALL TOGETHER MEN!" I heard a hunter shout and suddenly all the hunters rushed Laurence at once.
"Laurence," Paris hissed out and ran for the hunters quickly. I heard Laurence let out a scream as the scent of his blood entered the air. I widened my eyes and looked up quickly in panic. I let out a snarl and went after the hunters quickly, ditching the one I had been playing with. I thought Laurence had this! I flared my wings out then breathed fire at them, snarling as I chased them towards the door and away from Laurence. They all screamed and scattered as they saw me coming- running out the door. Paris ran up to Laurence's side quickly as he fell over. I glanced back at them then went over to them quickly, leaning my head down as I looked Laurence over in concern. He's fine, right? Just a scratch? Laurence winced a little as he pulled off his armor to reveal a few wounds on his upper body. He puked up blood quickly and laid down- reaching at a wound directly over where his heart is. I widened my eyes then turned into my human form quickly.
"Laurence," I whispered and looked towards where his heart was. "Paris, do something," I growled out quickly, turning to look at him. "Save him! That's my master!" I narrowed my eyes as I pulled Laurence to me protectively. Paris nodded and knelt down by us before dropping his weapon. He tore off Laurence's shirt and started to press his hand against Laurence's chest, but Laurence grabbed his hand.
"No," Laurence said quickly. "It's too late," he whispered. "It's too late for that. You wouldn't have enough time to save me, Paris."
"No! Laurence, you're just not seeing all of the future," Paris told him and tried to pull away from his hand. I snarled and looked down at Laurence, showing off my sharp teeth.
"Laurence," I growled at him quickly. "You're not going to die! You have a hatchling to feed and raise," I reminded him. No way in Hell am I taking Mayloi under my wing right now! I have a mate! I snatched his hands up then looked at Paris. Paris nodded and pushed his free hand into Laurence's chest quickly and started to dig around in it. Laurence let out a scream and squirmed under me.
"Paris s-stop!" Laurence begged. I held him down tightly then kissed the top of Laurence's head, giving him a comforting purr. He'll be fine when this is all over.
"Laurence, you're going to be okay," I purred then held him close. "They'll do that vampire healing thing on you." He struggled against me until Paris yanked something out of Laurence. His body started to crumble on me- decomposing quickly. Paris opened up his hand to reveal a beautiful white- clear stone that had blood oozing out of it and seemed cracked- broken. There were red veins in it pulsing. I looked at the stone and purred as my eyes locked onto it. It's so... beautiful. I reached for it instinctively then giggled in delight. I want it! It's a jewel! Paris widened his eyes and moved away from me quickly. I caught a dark swirl start up from where the blood was oozing out from and the whole stone started to turn dark. I looked at it then frowned. "What's wrong with it?" I asked as I snapped to. Eww... it's oozing blood. He eyed the stone over before giving it a thoughtful look.
"It must be infected," he told me. "That's what he was meaning. We have to find a cure for it," he whispered. "Holy water?" I leaned in and sniffed it before I growled.
"I know where there is some," I told him then eyed the stone over. I don't want to collect something that oozes blood. "He has a room with some in it."
"I don't know if it will work though... I think we only do that for when demon blood is in our system," he whispered. "Maybe a transfer of-" He stopped talking as the stone started to bust in his hand- the crack spreading quickly. I widened my eyes then moved closer to him then growled.
"Make it stop," I ordered him quickly. "He's dying!" Paris nodded and bit down into his wrist quickly just as the stone broke into tiny shards before turning into dust. Paris pulled away from his wrist and looked towards his hand and widened his eyes.
"L-Laurence?" He asked. I widened my eyes then stiffened. N-no....
"What happened?" I asked him softly, my voice breaking.
"What do you think just happened?" Paris asked as he eyed the dust over in his hands. I furrowed my eyebrows then clenched my fists.
"H-how?" I looked towards him then at the stone. "He could see the future!"
"I know!" Paris yelled back at me and started to cry. "He said he wouldn't die!" I clenched my jaw then looked at the stone before I froze up. This is what he meant... wasn't it? When he said his friends would blame him for what happened today. This is why he was shaking. He knew he was going to die.
"He knew," I murmured.
"Knew what?" Paris asked and frowned. "Everything?! Yeah! That's what he does."
"No, he knew he was going to die," I whispered and frowned, watching the stone. "He was shaking really bad earlier when he came to get me. He knew he was going to die... and he knew we'd be upset. He told me that he was afraid that his friends would blame him for today and that he felt awful that he got distracted in his excitement of giving a ring to someone." He knew this was going to happen when he came to get me. That's why he looked for Timothy first. He wanted his butler before he could die... and Mayloi too.... Paris frowned and looked down at the dust before he balled up his fist quickly.
"He knew his own death but still fought with us?" Paris asked softly. I looked at him with wide eyes then gave a slight nod.
"I... I think so. Why else would he shake like that? He knew that two others died... and he was still frightened a little before we started to fight," I whispered and then tensed up as I watched Paris. "He wanted to find Timothy, Mayloi, and Baleen before he found me.... He might have wanted to see them all one last time and make sure they were okay." This is horrible.... Why didn't he tell me he was going to die?
"Because he didn't want you worrying over it," Paris whispered to me. "No one wants to brag about their death day to their friends and family." He eyed his fist over. "Laurence didn't want to tell us a lot of things. Like who he was before we knew him." I frowned and looked towards Paris's hand before I felt my chest ache a little.
"Is there... any way to get him back?" I asked Paris softly.
"No," he whispered and shook his head. "Death is death."
"But... who's going to take care of Mayloi? What about everyone else here?" I asked quickly and then shook my head as my eyes started to sting. Is this really the end of that little vampire? I thought he was just starting to warm up to me....
"I'm sorry... but there's no way. Hell isn't something we can just go visit," he whispered. "It's another realm." I frowned and glared at his hand before I looked at him.
"Why not?" I hissed. "Death isn't the end." If he's in Hell, we should be able to get him back! It's a place.
"I know death isn't the end... But Hell isn't touchable for the living," Paris grumbled and got to his feet. He let the dust fall to the ground then. "Let's take care of the rest of those hunters then gather everyone to announce deaths." I narrowed my eyes.
"You're just going to accept this?" I asked him then growled. "He was your friend!" I looked away from him quickly as a tear slipped down my face. I can't believe he didn't tell me he was going to die.... Why didn't he run? Paris walked up to me calmly and pulled me into a hug.
"Baylorik," he whispered. "He was one of my greatest friends," he whispered and started to cry. "But that's it. There's no coming back from death." I widened my eyes and looked towards him as I heard him cry then frowned before I wrapped my arms around him quickly and leaned my face against him.
"Why not?" I whined and felt another tear escape me. He does feel something for his lost friend....
"Because," he whispered and sniffled. "We would still have a lot of good people here," he promised. I tightened my grip on him then clenched my jaw.
"Can't we find a way?" I whispered. "Just because no one has done it before doesn't mean that it's not possible, right?!"
"I promise I will look for a way," he whispered. "But we have a few things to do first." I frowned but gave a nod.
"O-okay... as long as you promise to look." It's not over yet.... He'll come back. Laurence might have seen a way and that's why he didn't run... right? He wouldn't commit suicide by going into a battle that would end him forever, yes?
"Well..." Paris trailed off before starting for the doors. "He was pretty old."
"I don't care," I hissed. "He'll be back somehow!" And when he does come back, I'll never let him go! I'll hoard him away into my treasure hoard!
"Baylorik, can you take care of the rest outside?" Paris asked me. I paused and tensed as I watched him before I nodded.
"Yes... I'll give them all painful deaths," I hissed then started for the doors to go finish what they started.
Paris's POV:
I walked into the crowded ball room where everyone was gathered with Baylorik by my side. The bells stopped ringing just a few minutes ago. I walked up to Richard and pulled him into a hug. "Hey," I whispered to him. He broke out into a purr as soon as I touched him and wrapped his arms around me.
"Hello, my love," he whispered then kissed my cheek. Baylorik booked it over to Timothy before he looked at Mayloi then took him into his arms and held onto him gently, watching as the tiny dragon curled up in his hands. I eyed over the room, remembering what Baylorik told me. There was two of us that died. Did Dante and Reuben die? I saw Victor sitting with Val, looking down at the ground with a pained look on his face as Alex examined someone's stone in his hand, turning it over between his fingers. I walked up to them quickly- dragging Richard with me.
"Is that Dante?" I asked. I eyed over Victor and frowned. Oh... Did Luuna not make it? Alex glanced up towards me and nodded.
"Val says it's infected," he said and showed me a stone that had a little black smudge on it. "He got poison in him from a wound."
"Does anyone know how to heal him?" I asked and eyed Val over. She's the oldest. Alex shrugged and looked towards Val and Victor.
"Victor has that book, doesn't he?" Alex asked and looked towards Victor but got quiet quickly when Victor just continued staring at the ground.
"Reuben and Luuna?" I asked quietly. Those were the two? Richard tensed and looked at me.
"From what I've managed to get from Victor before he became like that... yes. He lost Luuna and Val found Dante by Reuben's corpse," Richard whispered. Alex placed Dante's stone in my hand then frowned as he eyed it over. I eyed over the stone before looking towards Val.
"Here, take this and figure out a cure before he dies." She nodded and took the stone from me. I glanced around before walking up to the stage and walked up onto it. "Can I get everyone's attention?" I asked. Richard followed me closely but stopped at the edge of the stage, looking up at me as the others gathered round minus Victor. Baylorik watched me as he petted Mayloi, keeping him close. My eyes landed on Laurence's servants before I directed my gaze at Baleen and Timothy. "We fell under attack tonight," I began. "We lost several people. I want us to take a moment of silence for Luuna- a dear friend of ours and Reuben- who was supposed to be a future queen of Germany." The rest of the servants bowed their heads in silence, their thoughts racing a mile a minute as Timothy stared at me with worried eyes. Why isn't my master giving this speech? Where is he? Why hasn't he called for me? Timothy slowly reached out and grabbed Baleen's hand, giving it a squeeze as he tried to quiet his racing thoughts. I let in a deep breath before letting it out. "It's never going to be easy saying this... not to everyone in the room," I began and frowned. "Laurence has passed away," I announced slowly to let it sink in and waited out the silence of everyone's realization. A few of his servants started to tremble as a few cries broke out in the room, and I could see Timothy's eyes go wide before he clenched his jaw and pulled Baleen into a hug, hiding Baleen's face quickly as he rubbed Baleen's head comfortingly. I saw Baleen starting to cry then as his thoughts raced on to when he gave Laurence a stuffed animal. I eyed them over before sighing. "Timothy, did Laurence give you a will?" I asked. Timothy tensed and slowly nodded.
"Yes... he had a will written," he spoke up, having to clear his throat to get his voice to work, but I could still hear it shaking. I noticed Richard's shoulders shaking before he leaned against the stage for support, his hands clenching.
"We'll take a look at it as soon as you locate it," I told him. "Richard, Victor, you can help be witnesses as I reveal and read the will with Timothy. We'll help Laurence's will be settled out." Timothy watched me before he looked down at Baleen and leaned down to his son, giving him another hug. Richard looked up at me and wiped at his face quickly, his thoughts quickly turning to counting upwards to hide what he had really been thinking. He nodded and reached up for my hand. I gave him a small smile before I bent down and took his hand. "Alright. If it's not too much to ask, can we get a cleanup crew and burn the dead bodies?" I asked the room. "Let's move out, get it done, and try to not be so gloomy. It's been a rough day, but we do have things to do," I reminded everyone and tried to keep calm. The servants slowly started to move out, some of them holding each other as they tried to keep their mind off their lost master, but Timothy stayed behind with Baleen, keeping him at his side as he looked towards Baylorik who had Mayloi cradled to his chest and was looking at him worriedly as Mayloi was sniffing the air and looking around for Laurence in confusion. I walked up to them with Richard and eyed Baleen down before I rubbed his head.
"Hey," I whispered. "It's okay," I promised. "Death isn't the end," I promised him. Baleen looked up at me and nodded before he looked up at his dad.
"I want to stay with you," he whispered. His dad nodded quickly.
"Of course, Baleen," he whispered and leaned down, giving Baleen a kiss on the head. "You can stay with me. You're my son...."
"Okay," Baleen whispered.
"Let's take a look at the will," I told them than looked at Victor and motioned him to come over. He glanced up at me then slowly got to his feet, walking over to me. Richard glanced towards Baylorik then frowned.
"Baylorik... I can take him. Go check on your nest," he said then walked up, taking Mayloi. Baylorik nodded quickly then gave him a grateful look before he ran off to go find Divya. Richard walked up to me with Mayloi in his hands and placed him on his shoulder, petting Mayloi's head to make him stay still.
Timothy lead the way to Laurence's study- where the will was kept and took a few minutes to find it before he placed it on the study. I sat down behind the desk and opened it up for all of us to read but... I decided to read it out loud.
"Laurence Wayte's Will. My will should still be kept close by my most trusted butler- Timothy. Until the date of my death, nothing inside this will should be discussed. As wills are meant for- I would like to begin by saying I am eternally sorry for leaving so soon. I'm not sure why I died... how I died... but I do know this, one day this will is going to be opened... and around it will stand Paris, Richard, probably Victor, Timothy, and Baleen and that's a great thing since I have something for each of you. Richard and Paris.... I have some advice for the both of you. I want you to work hard on not drinking so much blood. Don't stay demons forever. Forever is a long time to be wanting nothing but blood. Victor my dear friend! One day in the future you'll be happily married.... but it won't be to Luuna. No, one day you'll find that special someone. I promise. You do find her. Now don't feel sorry for my death. If it happened there was nothing that could be done. I leave everything to Timothy and his family... They'll be entitled to everything until I return. They'll keep a watchful eye on the place no doubt." I trailed off as I read over the signature than eyed over the next paragraph that was a little smeared.
"Paris ask Grimm for help?" I asked softly and tilted my head. Timothy frowned as he looked over my shoulder.
"Hmm... that is what that says," he mumbled and shook his head. "Maybe it was supposed to be Paris Grimm ask for help, not what it says...." Timothy tsked then. "But my young master doesn't make little mistakes like that...." Richard frowned and looked it over.
"Until my return? So, there is a way to bring him back?" He asked quickly. His eyes started to get hopeful as he reread it all. I eyed over the will one more time.
"Maybe Grimm is who he meant," I whispered. "I need to ask him for help." If Grimm is who I would ask for help- then on what? On finding out a way to get Laurence back from the dead. On curing Dante? Grimm is old... he might know just what to do. "I'll ask Grimm," I whispered and looked towards Richard before I gave him a smile. Baylorik is going to be so happy when he finds out. I cleared my throat before I glanced around the room. "Grimm?" I asked. I caught him sitting at a table near the window with a small smirk dancing on his lips. "Well.... can I get your help?" I asked him. He eyed me over before smirking.
"On what?" He asked me in amusement.
"Laurence told me to ask you for help," I told him.
"Yes, I know," he told me. "I heard you reading out the will."
"So, what do you think he meant by it?" I asked him.
"Well if he meant help with Dante... that can easily be done. All you have to do is keep giving him blood that he can soak in. Think about it.... vampires and blood are two close friends. It makes sense to soak his stone in blood... but you should switch out the blood by every hour until his stone is healed. You should also keep a watchful eye out incase I'm wrong." He stood up and walked up to me slowly. His smirk grew. "Now... to help you with that little... death problem... Only we can do this together, Paris. I have to escort you into hell to find your friend. But... Hell is very dangerous for the living. You could easily get trapped down there without me... and there are several things we'll have to go over if you do want to save your friend from eternal damnation," he laughed out softly. Richard tensed up and grabbed my hand quickly as Grimm came closer.
"H-Hell? If it's so dangerous...." Richard frowned and squeezed my hand. I don't want Paris going anywhere with him... especially if he could get hurt going or get trapped! But Laurence is down there, and we could have him back.... He's right. Laurence is down there in hell... and if I was in hell and Richard or Laurence had a way to come get me... I would expect them to. Laurence is expecting me to save him. No matter how dangerous it sounds, I must try for him. He's a dear friend of mine.
"Richard," I whispered and looked towards him. "I'm going to go find Laurence and bring him home." He looked down at me with wide eyes.
"What if you get stuck down there? I can't lose you! I need you here with me," he told me and gave my hand a squeeze before he knelt down by my seat and kissed my hand. "M-maybe there's another way to get him back.... Why can't you just ask Grimm to get him for you? I don't want you going there!" I eyed him over before nodding and looked towards Grimm expectantly.
"No," Grimm said calmly. "I'm not a little beagle. I'll take you there and get you home safely but I'm not running around in Hell like a headless chicken looking for his stone. Besides, I can't take it. It has to be your touch. You're still living." Richard gave a slight growl towards him then rubbed my hand with his thumb.
"I still don't like it. I don't trust him," he muttered. "This is Hell we're talking about...."
"I know," I whispered. "He did warn me it was dangerous... so maybe we can trust him. If he had something up his sleeve than he wouldn't have told me anything about it being dangerous." I grave Richard a sweet look then. "Laurence would do the same for me." He frowned then yanked me down to him, stealing a kiss from my lips.
"Yes, but you're my mate," he murmured against my lips then kissed me again.
"I know," I whispered sweetly and gave him another kiss. "I'll come home," I promised. "As soon as I get his stone." I felt him clench his jaw a little before he kissed me again then held my hand a little tighter as he moved back an inch.
"You promise?" He mumbled.
"I promise," I told him and gave a small purr.
"Paris, I'll have to go over a few things about Hell with you if you're set on going. There are things you have to know before making your final decision." Grimm told me. "I already told you it's dangerous and you could end up stuck... but there are strict things you should do and know. This is Hell we are talking about. It's not going to be an easy stroll in the park." Richard glanced towards Grimm then looked up at me, kissing my neck before he moved into my lap to sit with me. Grimm eyed over Victor, Timothy, and Baleen. "I'm sorry but I'll have to ask you to leave." Timothy frowned but gave a slight nod before he looked down at Baleen.
"Come along, Baleen.... Let's go clean our young master's bedroom," he suggested and gave his son a kind smile. "We need to have it spic and span for him if he's coming back home to us."
"He's coming back?" Baleen asked and whipped away his tears before looking towards Grimm. "Promise?" He gave a puppy dog expression then.
"Sure," Grimm whispered as he eyed him over. "Run along with your father." Timothy gently took Baleen's hand then started to pull him towards the door.
"He might come back," he whispered to Baleen then kissed the top of his head. "Don't you want everything to be waiting for him when he does? Let's go make sure that his room is all pretty and wonderful for him." He snatched Victor's hand as he passed him and made him follow, dragging him out of the room with him. When the doors closed, Grimm looked straight at Richard.
"The only reason I'm allowing you to stay is because you're Paris's mate and you'll need to know what to do when we come home and why you'll have it ready," Grimm told him calmly. Richard nodded quickly then exposed his fangs.
"If you tried to kick me out, it wouldn't have been pretty anyways," he hissed at him and clung to me.
"I know. You're very protective for a mate. It's almost.... Something to look up to." He hid a playful smirk on his lips.
"Let's get on with it then," I said quickly.
"Paris," Grimm whispered before he sat down in front of the desk. "Your half demon, which is great and the main reason why this has to be done by you. I can't take in anyone but a halfling safely. Even then, in hell you will be tormented while searching for his stone. There will be illusions, but you can't listen to them. You can't let go of my hand while we're in hell. It's easy to get lost. Traveling into hell with a halfling always throws us off course so we'll have to walk a great distance to the graveyard of stones. Once there, you'll have to personally search for him and take him. We'll leave as soon as you have him in hand. When we return, you won't be yourself and neither will be Laurence. You'll be full-fledged vampire demons. You'll be extremely hungry, and you could kill towns-full of people. Richard.... Paris will be difficult to handle when he comes back and you'll need to be ready. I won't even be able to control him. He'll be blood thirsty and he won't be able to think straight. You must take his stone and cure it with holy water. It might take a few days for him to heal... also in my understanding... we might not come back right away for your time period... it might be a week from now before we show up. You'll have to be aware and watching." He paused then as he eyed us over. "Any questions so far?" Richard frowned and looked at me then at Grimm.
"Worse than he is right now?" He asked then rubbed my head. "We're both already demonic...."
"Yes... but Paris has more control right now, thanks to him being of my blood. He's not going to have control or know what he's doing when he's back. Richard, if you tick him off he could kill you and won't feel a thing about it until years later when he's slowly coming back to sanity. We don't want that though." Richard hissed then held onto me tightly.
"If he's going to come back like that, then he shouldn't go," he growled out then looked at me. "Paris, this isn't a good idea." I frowned and nodded in agreement with Richard.
"I know," I whispered. "But you can capture me and take my stone," I told him. "I believe in you. You can get- Alex to help." He frowned as he thought it over and relaxed a little but still looked tense.
"I won't like it when you come back and don't recognize me as your mate," he muttered.
"Well there is the chance he could come back and just take you to bed the whole time," Grimm laughed out. "There is a slim chance he'll want sex instead of blood." Richard bit his bottom lip and looked at Grimm then before he held onto me a little tighter.
"So... he will recognize me?" He asked and kissed the top of my head. "Or is it just that he'll want anyone?"
"Oh, he'll recognize you thanks to the bite mark on your neck. He'll be thinking 'Oooo. That smells like my mate...' you get the idea~ there are also other possibilities he'll want to convert the vampires around him into demons by forcing his blood on them." Richard gave a slight nod and relaxed, kissing my cheek.
"What if I didn't have his mark? Vampires can still smell their mates without it," he whispered.
"If you didn't have his mark, you better hope a god has mercy on you when he comes back."
"Like he'll try to kill me?" Richard asked and frowned again.
"No... You'll probably find yourself in a very hot situation. Vampires fresh out of hell can give their unmarked mates a very long and eventful mark- and mating week... month.... Hopefully someone will help you." I felt Richard's stone pulse at the thought, and his face turned a little red as he nodded, lost for words. "Vampires are very fun... I used to have a vampire lover. She gave me a child," Grimm purred out.
"Uh huh...." Richard whispered then looked towards me. "So... I guess that's not so bad if you come back and will still recognize me," he murmured. "I won't have to worry about you trying to get with someone else while I'm looking for you... and it'll be easier to get close to you."
"I wouldn't love anyone else besides you," I purred to him. "You're my one and only. I'd recognize you even if I couldn't smell." He purred loudly then and leaned for a kiss.
"I love you so much, Paris~" He husked out and wrapped his arms around my neck, tangling his fingers up in my hair.
"I love you too," I purred out and wrapped him up in my arms. "I'm going to come back to you." He nodded then kissed me deeply, leaning me back a bit in the chair as he pressed his body against mine.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you about the Devil. If he catches us than you won't make it home. Ever. The Devil sort of has this- no halflings rule until they die, they can't come visit hell. So, I'm sort of sneaking you in." Richard yanked back from the kiss and looked towards Grimm with a hiss.
"Then you better not let him get caught," he growled and glared him down. "Or I'll get an exorcist and have him rip you apart."
"That's if I come back to tell you I lost Paris," Grimm said in amusement. "You didn't think that one through."
"I'll find a way," he snarled. "Even if I have to summon demon after demon after demon to get my hands on you."
"I'll come back," I promised Richard quickly. "So, you don't have to worry. I'll be back before the ball." He looked at me and nodded, his expression softening as he watched me then leaned in and kissed me again. I gave him another kiss and purred before I pulled away.
"I'm going to be right here waiting for you when you come back," he whispered then kissed my neck as he moved towards it. "Don't take too long, or I'll miss you too much, and I'll start to get worried...." He gave my neck another small kiss and tightened his grip on me. "I love you so much."
"I'll be right back," I whispered. At least for me it will be only minutes, but it might be longer for him according to Grimm. "It'll be an in and out procedure." I gave him a kiss and purred. "I love you." He purred back and gave me a loving look then nodded.
"Okay... I'll hold you to your promise," he whispered then kissed my cheek. "Don't forget we're supposed to get married. You have to come back to me~"
"I can't stand a minute apart from you. Of course, I'll be running back as fast as I can. Just remember to be prepared for me." He nodded quickly and leaned in, kissing my lips passionately as he moved closer to me. Oh heavens, I love Paris too much~ It'll be living Hell for me to have to take his stone... and then wait. He's the only one I need....
"We have all of eternity," I promised him softly. "So, this will only be a glimpse."
"Paris, we should leave now. I'll have him back here Richard. Don't worry." Richard glanced back at Grimm then nodded before he looked at me longingly and gave me another kiss as he started to get up.
"Don't take too long," he begged me and held my hand as he got off my lap. "Please don't leave me here alone without you for a month." I stood up and pulled him into a hug.
"I promise to come back as quick as possible." I pulled away from him and walked up to Grimm as he stood up. "I'm ready." I felt Richard's eyes watching me before he started for the door.
"I'll go check on Victor... and see about Dante," he whispered, ditching me with Grimm to do what I needed to do. I eyed the door over and sighed before I looked towards Grimm and gave a nod.
"Let's get to it then. Don't let you go," I whispered. He nodded and grabbed my hand.
"I'm not going to let you go Paris. You're safe with me in Hell," he promised. He started to recite something quietly before the ground shook under us and started to disappear along with the walls as darkness surrounded us. Blackness engulfed me before a red glow appeared. Suddenly we were standing in a place I would imagine is Hell. The ground beneath my feet made my shoes heat up before it burned straight through and hit my skin. I let out a scream, but he quickly placed a hand over my lips and shushed me. I broke out into a light cold sweat as a hot temperature rose up around me. The smell of rotting flesh hit my nose quickly along with blood. "Don't eat or drink anything here," he told me calmly. I winced and adjusted my footing before I realized some of that smell was coming from my feet. My feet were burning!
"It's hot! So hot!" I told him and started to tear up. A light scream went off then in the background- a never ending hum of screams. That's souls being tortured. I felt a sense of hunger- thirst overwhelm me quickly and my fangs exposed.
"I know Paris, don't let my hand go." I felt him give it a squeeze. "I know it's terrible, but we have to start moving before we lose time." He started to pull me somewhere then and a fog appeared around us, but it started to burn against my skin- melting off some of my arm hair. I yelped and gave his hand a squeeze as I followed him- but each step burned harder against my skin.
"Paris!" I heard my father's voice call out for me. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up before they were burned off by the hot fog. I trembled a little and glanced around. That's right... he's here. "Paris Grimm!" He was suddenly standing in front of me and my surroundings changed to his study as he scowled at me. "For the hundredth time, don't scratch your shoulders!" I felt a faint blush come through my cheeks before I pulled my hand away from my shoulder and watched as blood dripped off my fingers and hit the ground. I looked towards my dad and gave him an innocent look.
"I didn't realize," I told him. He tsked.
"You didn't realize?" He asked then smacked me hard across the face with the back of his hands. "What kind of a prince are you? We should have left you on a rock to die of starvation," he hissed then exposed his fangs. "Your brother would have made a better prince."
"My brother?" I asked him and frowned. He means the twin I found out about when- when I killed him. "You're dead," I whispered to him.
"Oh no I'm not. I'm very much alive," he hissed and exposed his fangs. "Don't you remember? I killed that little boy toy of yours and had his fangs turned into a pearl necklace for your mother. If you don't believe me, his head is on a pike outside," he snarled then grabbed my arm, dragging me to the window to see Richard's head down in the front courtyard on a stick. I widened my eyes as I eyed it over. No- no this isn't right. I was just in Hell. This is an illusion. Richard's not dead.
"No," I said quickly and shook my head as I eyed over Richard's head before I looked away quickly. "I was in Hell! I was going to get a friend's stone! Richard is waiting for me!" I yelled at him.
"You've finally lost it," my father muttered then threw me to the ground. "I knew you would. It was only a matter of time. How could you not? That evil little devil of a prince turned you into a female and tried to make you have his children. He screwed you up so bad, but he got what was coming to him." He glared me down. "You're a disappointment."
"No, he didn't! He didn't turn me or try to make me have his children- and if he was going to it's of my own free will father! This is all wrong! What have you done? Where are we?! I was in hell! I'm on my way to get Laurence's stone and return home to Richard. This isn't right! You done something to me!" I yelled at him and raised up my foot. "I burned my feet- there's proof! I was walking in Hell. You died and you're in Hell!" I yelled at him. He looked at my foot then frowned.
"What proof? Your feet are perfectly fine," he hissed at me. "The council is not going to like hearing that you lost it.... It's going to make Laurence's sentence so much worse for his sins against our family.... He'll have his stone crushed for this." He snapped his fingers. "DOCTOR! I need you to take my son back to his room and strap him down! He's nuts!" I heard the door open before a man walked in and looked me over before he got me to my feet and started to tie my arms down to my torso swiftly.
"I'm not crazy!" I yelled at him. "You're the crazy one! You're a murderer!" I screamed at my father. "You're burning in hell and you don't even know it! Do you!?" I yelled at him. "You think you won! But I did! I did! I did it with my mate! We're going to have children one day too! I'm even raising Rose! Rose is going to grow up so beautiful and she'll never have to deal with your lies and sins! You're the sinner! You died! Realize it!" I yelled at him and tried to get my arms free.
"Rose? Your imaginary friend?" The doctor asked calmly then frowned. "I thought I finally erased that from your mind.... We'll have to re-administer the treatment again. I'll have a barrel set up at once, my king," he said and looked towards my father who nodded.
"Make him stay under for a day," he whispered then waved me off. The door opened suddenly and an exact replica of me walked in, his hands in his pockets calmly.
"Hey dad, my fiancé is coming today," he purred and gave my father a sweet look. I widened my eyes and eyed him over.
"Who are you?" I asked softly. He glanced towards me then purred.
"Don't you remember me, Paris? I'm Louis, your twin~" He smirked at me then. "In trouble again, are we?"
"D-dad gave you away," I whispered. "You're dead. He told me you were dead."
"No, I'm clearly not dead. Now quit telling me that! It's hurtful~ We used to play tea parties until that evil prince took you away and locked you up," Louis purred and walked up, kissing my cheek. The doctor gave Louis a look before he looked at me.
"Let's go," he ordered and snatched my shirt, dragging me away.
"Louis!" I yelled out and tried to go back to him. "Don't let dad do this!" I yelled at him.
"You'll be okay, my twin! The doctor won't hurt you," Louis purred to me and waved. "I love you!" I blushed as I eyed him over. I have a twin and he just told me he loves me~ I blushed as I eyed him over.
"Louis," I mumbled. I never played tea parties with him- but it sounds like a great idea to do with a twin. This isn't right- I don't have those memories. He gave me a pout as he watched me.
"Aren't you going to say, 'I love you' back?" He asked then playfully exposed his fangs, earning a sharp hiss from my father and a smack to the back of the head.
"I love you too," I whispered to him and gave him a small pout. He gave me the sweetest grin in the world and laughed happily.
"Good!" He said joyfully. I felt my heart skip a beat at his joy. I gave him a huge smile. I want to tell him that over and repeatedly. I was suddenly shoved into a barrel in a dark room as the doctor growled at me then put the lid on it as I was submerged in black water. I widened my eyes and started to choke on the water as it filled my lungs. I reached up and banged on the barrel quickly to try to get the lid open. I'm drowning! I heard him sit on the top of it before he started to sing in a German tune, kicking on the side of the barrel every few seconds. I felt my head hit up against the barrel as my body twitched. I felt panic rise in me as my lungs ached for air. No- No! It burns! I suddenly heard the roar of fire around me as Louis was standing in front of a fireplace, looking down at the fire crackling on the logs inside it. Soft cushions held me in their embrace as I found myself laying on a couch behind him, my eyes lingering on my look alike.
"Louis," I called out and sat up quickly. I walked up to him as fast as I could and grabbed his wrist. "Louis," I mumbled and pulled him into a hug. He tensed before he purred at me and wrapped his arms around me, leaning in towards my neck.
"Paris," he mumbled. "I've missed you." I purred and brought him closer to me.
"Yet we barely know each other," I whispered. "I only just met you." I gripped his shirt tightly.
"Silly duck," he purred in my ear. "We've known each other before we were even born. We grew up together." I felt his fangs scrape across my neck as he tightened his grip on me. I purred lightly.
"We are twins," I told him and exposed my neck to him but looked towards his neck curiously. I wonder what he tastes like. I felt him bite in before he moaned and knocked us over onto the couch, laying on me as he began to feast on my blood. I purred and ran my fingers lightly across his back before I brought my hands under his shirt and over to his shoulder to feel for scars. It felt smooth, perfect at my touch, barely a blemish on it as my fingers explored his shoulders. He shivered and bit in deeper, gripping the front of my shirt as he squirmed on top of me. Oh~ Is he embarrassed I'm touching him like this? I gave a playful smirk as I lightly scratched his shoulders- not enough to dig into his skin. He gasped and gripped a handful of my shirt, yanking on it a little as he felt my nails then ripped into my neck with his fangs for more blood. I dug in then- the light scent of his blood entered the air as I let out a moan. He shivered again then tugged up on my shirt, making it slide up my stomach before he sucked on my neck hungrily, giving a moan. I trailed my hands down slowly- moving them across his back before I took my hands out of his shirt and brought one up to my lips and tried his blood. It tasted wonderful, almost heavenly and sinful at the same time as anymore of it would send me into a crazed frenzy for it. I could taste a hint of chocolate in his blood along with tea, the balance drawing a soft moan from me as he bit his fangs into me again, sinking them in deep. I moaned and eyed the ceiling over for a few minutes before I exposed my fangs and dragged his shirt off his shoulder. I bit down into him quickly and started to drink his blood. He gasped then yanked back at me before he hissed.
"It's my turn," he growled at me. "You got to bite me last time." I blushed before nodding.
"I'm sorry Louis," I said quickly and licked my lips. He watched me curiously before he smirked and showed off his fangs to me.
"Sorry?" He asked me and purred. I nodded quickly.
"I'm sorry," I told him again. He leaned in slowly towards my neck and tilted my chin to the side so he could find a better spot to bite me. I exposed my neck obediently and let out a small purr. I suddenly felt a different set of fangs in my neck on the other side of it as Richard's purr broke out in my ear then felt Louis's sink in quickly on the other. Richard? Richard!
"Richard!" I purred out and glanced around for him. I found him kneeled down by the couch, moaning softly as he adjusted himself to get at my neck better. I purred and reached up for him. "Richard, you ARE alive!" I shoved Louis off quickly and yanked him down to me. Louis hissed suddenly before he shoved Richard away and glared at me.
"Paris," he hissed, looking upset. "Don't you dare try to replace me with him!"
"He's my mate Louis. When you have one you will understand," I told him firmly. He glared at me then narrowed his eyes.
"You always do this to me! I hate you so much!" He exposed his fangs at me then hissed. "You're the worst twin in the world!"
"Probably," I purred out to him. "But you're the one throwing the fit." I teased. "Besides.... You're not my mate- Richard is. You can't expect me to give all of me to you when I have him. He can pleasure me in more ways than you can. My dear look alike." He narrowed his eyes then smacked me, but Richard hissed and tackled him quickly, snarling as they fell over the other side of the couch. I widened my eyes and sat up to watch them.
"Richard, let him go. He's just jealous. He'll run off and cry or something and leave us alone." Twins do that right? However, what I expected to find wasn't what I found, my sight landing on Louis covered in Richard's blood as he held his stone in his hands with wide eyes. He sat up slowly then looked at the stone before his eyes narrowed and he crushed it with a hiss. I widened my eyes and gasped. "NO!" I yelled out and glared Louis down. "You bastard!" I hissed at him and crawled over to him before I shoved him into the floor and glared him down. "I hate you!" I hissed at him before I grabbed his throat and started to squeeze it. He widened his eyes and grabbed my hand before a few tears streaked down his bloody face and he started to cry as he held my hand tightly. I could hear the despair in his thoughts as he watched me, his mind a blur except for that one feeling- the stone cracking sadness from hearing me say it.
"P-Paris," he whispered.
"You murdered him," I hissed out and started to break his neck as I squeezed harder. He let out a scream and let go of my hand quickly, wincing in pain before he looked away from me. I exposed my fangs at him and sent him a glare before I eyed him over and eased up on his throat. NO- No this is my twin. I only get one of these. I smacked his cheek hard. "I'll hate you forever," I told him. "But you'll live to know that." He looked up at me then exposed his fangs before he narrowed his eyes.
"All you had to do was love me!" He snarled then flipped us quickly. He glared me down then bit into my throat hard with his fangs, ripping out a chunk from my neck. I groaned and grabbed his side.
"I did until you killed my mate," I whispered to him. "Richard was everything to me... You can't understand that though because you've probably never had a mate as good as him," I whispered. I felt his fangs suddenly sink down to my bones, cracking them before my vision blurred.
I was suddenly standing out in a garden, the sunlight shining down on my skin before I saw Richard sitting at a table set outside- my look alike sitting beside him as they laughed lightly about something. I eyed them over and rubbed my head. What's happening to me? What's reality? I walked up towards them slowly to hear what they were laughing about. "I can't wait to give him his birthday present," I heard Richard purr to Louis, making him laugh.
"No way, mine's better! He'll love mine," he teased Richard and crossed his legs with a smirk on his face. "It's from his twin~ I was born with him. You weren't~"
"It's our birthday?" I asked Louis curiously. He looked up at me sharply then smirked.
"Of course, it is~ What did you think it was?" He purred then gave me a playful look. "You didn't forget, did you?" I gave a nervous smile then.
"Maybe," I admitted. "I have a lot on my mind... I feel like I'm losing it actually." I walked up to Richard and sat down in his lap quickly. "Richard?" I asked curiously. "You love me, right?" He purred and kissed me.
"Of course, I do- Oh! I got you a new toy," he whispered in my ear then pulled out a whip from behind him then placed it in my lap. "Want to go play with it~?" I eyed it over before purring.
"Yes," I told him and smirked. "This looks fun." He purred then picked it up before he dragged it down my chest slowly.
"Want to make the dungeon our playground?" He whispered then nipped at the tip of my ear.
"I thought our bed would be more comfortable," I told him. I felt his lips curl up into a smirk before I was suddenly shoved down on the bed and felt his fingers working to get my pants off quickly. I bit my bottom lip and grabbed at my pants- pushing them down quickly to help him. He purred and I felt him playfully drag the whip up the inside of my thigh.
"Such a bad boy~" He husked out.
"Very," I told him quickly and yanked off my shirt eagerly. He chuckled before he teasingly moved the whip across my underpants, giving me a playful smirk as he eyed my body over. I eyed the whip over and gave a small gasp. "Can I get a birthday strip?" I asked him. "Take everything off extra slow~ Don't forget to dance." He shook his head and smirked.
"No, not yet~" He told me then lightly hit me with the whip across my chest. I gasped and eyed him over.
"But Richard," I whispered.
"But Paris~" He laughed and hit me again with the whip. "I want you to want me so bad that you're about to jump me."
"I already am," I teased him.
"No, you're not~ I want to see you desperate~ I want to see you beg," he purred and smacked me harder with the whip, drawing blood. I gasped and watched as my wound healed up as soon as it was made.
"Oh Richard," I whispered. He laughed then dragged the whip down my stomach slowly before he smirked and lightly trailed it down my happy trail. I eyed the whip down before I licked my lips and looked up at his lips. "Harder," I ordered. He raised an eyebrow and then smirked again before he moved the whip up more firmly against my skin and slowed his movements with the whip, dragging it down my body as the cold leather trailed against me. I gave a small shiver and let out a moan. He purred before he rubbed it against my boxers and eyed me over as he exposed his fangs. I exposed my fangs back at him as I eyed his body over. I'm going to jump him now. He licked his bottom lip slowly to mess with me then hit my thigh with the whip as he laughed. I sat up quickly and snatched his wrist before I yanked him to me. "I'm ready to jump you now!" I told him and eyed him over. I lost him a few minutes ago. He gasped then hit me with the whip again on my chest quickly.
"No, you're not!" He said and then went to escape. I yanked him onto the bed and got on top of him quickly before I stole the whip from him and tossed it. I yanked his shirt off while keeping him down under me. His eyes widened and he squirmed under me before he growled and leaned up for a kiss. "I'm on top," he told me firmly. I laughed softly.
"No, you're not," I told him and rubbed my thumb against his lips. I eyed his body over and pulled off his pants quickly. "Should have gave me that strip show." He gasped then licked my thumb before he gave me a teasing look and slipped my thumb into his mouth to screw with me. I eyed him over and licked my lips. "What're you doing to my thumb?" I asked. He sucked on it lightly then pulled back, kissing my hand as he slowly moved towards my wrist with a loud purr. I eyed him over before pushing my wrist up to his mouth. He bit in quickly and started to drink my blood, grabbing my wrist as soon as his fangs were sunk in. I watched him and gave a smile as I laid down on top of him and wrapped him up in my other arm. "I love you." He pulled back from my wrist then licked his lips then looked at me.
"I love you too," he told me then leaned in for a kiss, rubbing his leg against mine. I purred and leaned in towards his neck and breathed in his scent. I love him so much. He purred at me then suddenly shoved me off with a playful look. I frowned as I eyed him over. I was enjoying that. He sat up then got to his feet, picking his shirt up and started to put it back on. I whined and reached out for him.
"Richard!" I grabbed at his shirt quickly.
"What~? You don't need sex," he teased me, giving a small growl my way to mess with me. "You're not a good top." I growled lightly.
"Yes, I am! I was enjoying your touch. Take that off," I told him firmly and tried to yank it off him. He playfully smacked my hand then ran his hand along his thigh, bringing it up slowly.
"You're not ready for all of this~" He purred. "I knew you weren't ready to jump me." I glared him down before I shoved him down onto the bed and got back on top of him. I pinned him down and gave a small tsk.
"You think so?" I asked him. "I'm going to prove you wrong." He widened his eyes then purred loudly, leaning up for a kiss.
"Paris~" He moaned out. I gave him a kiss before I yanked off his shirt and boxers.
"Richard," I husked out. He gasped and watched me as he looked up at me in a daze and quickly went for another kiss hungrily. I kissed him quickly and moved my hands down to my boxers before I ripped them off. This must be a close reality. Richard loves me. I heard a gasp behind me before I felt someone's hands yank me off him.
"How dare you," my father hissed in my ear. I growled sharply and exposed my fangs.
"He's my mate!" I yelled out.
"He's another man, and you're engaged to someone else," my father growled then shoved me away from the bed, starting for me. He glared at me in rage before I suddenly felt chains on my hands and searing pain against my back like I was being burned. King Dracula pulled back from my skin and smirked as he held a hot red iron brand in his hands with his family seal on it. I widened my eyes and pulled at the chains. What's happened? Why'd he do that! CRAZY BASTARD! My father smacked me suddenly and grabbed my chains, moving it upwards and chaining me up to a hook that was embedded in the ceiling. The bed had disappeared with Richard in it, leaving me in a dark dungeon cell with our two fathers that glared me down like I was Satan himself. Oh- no....
"Father?" I asked softly and looked towards the hot rod as my heart raced. "Why?" I asked softly.
"Because you're the spawn of that devil Grimm," he snarled and smacked me. "It's his devil blood in you that made you the way you are- disobedient, unruly, and evil!" He suddenly grabbed a knife off a nearby table and turned to me, narrowing his eyes. "I'll fix it though. I'll rid you of it once and for all."
"W-what do you mean? Rid it? Rid what?" I asked him and started to panic. He walked up to me then pressed the knife against my stomach before he stabbed me with it, my body trembling quickly as a scream ripped itself from my throat, but before I knew it, I was standing back on the hot ground with Grimm holding my hand. I sniffled and gripped his hand tightly before I rushed into hugging him.
"Grimm," I whined out. "I want to go home," I told him quickly.
"Shhhh," he told me and rubbed my head. "It's not much further." He yanked me further into hell. I felt my chest swelling up.
"I want to go home," I told him again and started to tremble.
"You came here to get your friend Paris. Man up- no.... demon up." He laughed softly as he yanked me further along a trail of sharp bones that cut into my feet. "I told you that you would be tortured."
"I know- but I didn't imagine this. I don't know what's reality," I whispered.
"Insanity," he sighed out. I could smell Richard nearby, his scent coming through the smell of burning flesh strongly as it called out to me, begging for my attention. I widened my eyes and went for the scent in panic.
"RICHARD!" I yelled out but Grimm kept a firm grip on my hand and yanked me back to him.
"No- Richard isn't down here Paris. You need to remember that this is Hell and there are plenty of illusions. Stay with me and let me get you through this."
"Paris," I heard his voice whisper nearby. "Paris, is that you?" I eyed my surroundings over.
"RICHARD!" I yelled out. Oh no- he's down here. He died! What if I spent too much time here! What if I lost all eternity with him! What if he's dead!?
"Paris calm down!" Grimm yelled at me firmly before yanking me into his arms and pulled me off my feet and started to carry me.
"Paris... how could you leave me like that?" I heard Richard's voice echoing. "How could you abandon me?!"
"I didn't! I said I would be right back. I promised." I looked around worriedly. Grimm grabbed my hands and placed them up to my ears- making me hold them. I could hear Richard call for me, but it sounded muffled through my hands but desperate. I suddenly felt a ghost like touch on my lips like he was here, trying to get me to respond. I moaned at the touch and let my ears go before I squirmed in Grimm's arms.
"I'm coming!" I told him. "Where are you?" I asked. Grimm tightened his grip around me and grabbed my throat tightly.
"The castle," I heard Richard whisper into my ear. "He has me. The devil has me...." No! That bastard has my mate! I exposed my fangs and teleported straight out of Grimm's arms.
"PARIS!" Grimm hissed at me before his voice faded...
