Synopsis

The Panda Swordsman

Year 6807 in the galaxy surrounded by stars floated many space ships , used for transporting goods and people through the universe. In one such ship smaller than the others gray colored in the outside had stoped moving , within the ship there was no sounds. If one didn't know this ship had seven hundred man inside of its body they'd think it was abandoned by the people. The ship with a thousand rooms had stoped in the sea of stars. Around the ship stars shimmered with full intensity there wasn't a single movement no immortal mages flying near it. Inside this massive ship a old man, that has passed through many wars lay rest, in a bed covered by a white cloth hiding the gold and extravagant carvings of bamboo and pandas on the sides and the end of the bed. The gray haired man gave a tired sigh he knew in his life he didn't have any regrets except his inability to break through the 9th rank realm so he could live forever with his family.

Near the old man sat two black haired men they were the sons of this great warrior, they were the sons of the great Panda Sage. Their normally exuberant yellow eyes were dull in both sets of eyes were unshed teardrops of anguish. They knew their father wouldn't live forever as he was unable to pass the immortal rank but the sadness that they felt wasn't something they could rationalize. Their broad shoulders fit for being the heads of the bamboo sword clan we're giving the feeling of weakness mellowness and regret. The battle robes that gave off the feeling of power now seemed to give the illusion of lost children to the wearer.

Born as twins he knew his sons would feel guilt over his death Joan for the last time let go of his magic power and bloodlust making the grieving sons to stop and freeze. "What have I told you before my death was due , either by blade or by age. Even if I had the ability to breakthrough I would never. I don't fear death for I've met it many times before!" The wrinkled old man spoke his volume getting louder near the end as he felt his breath going away quicker.

Both leaders looked at the dying man with shock and then they gave way to a bitter smile seeing their father concerned for them even in deaths door. They gave a weak gasp as they collected their tears , they were warriors sons of the strongest man. With shuddering breath they calmed down soon the aura which they had lost returned to them with vigor they looked at the man and simultaneously said.

"Father/Dad we shall remember your name forever! Your story shall be told for eons to come. We shall rule over our clan with the teachings you taught." The twins expression changed and wavered showing their pain through their shaking form. "We are the sons of a legend we shall make our father proud! As the new sect leaders we will hold onto the road you carved and spread our clans honor through all Eolas!" Spoken with such vigor and magnitude that the ships walls vibrated from its strength, causing all the living beings onto the ship to know the great Sage was dying.

Soon after wails could be heard , young and old but the trio inside of the room couldn't hear the cries of pain from the clan. Both sons closed their eyes , the pale old man following soon after he started to mutter some words of advise to his beloved. "Leon find a wife that will bear your children the next clan heads. Be careful of the old elders they still hold a lot of power within." When Leon heard this he clenched his hands into fists , his pale hands showed his knuckles and onto his palms his finger caused blood to flow out like a smooth river of red. Sair heard his fathers advise for his twin feeling of guilt took over him if his father asked the same to him, he'd feel forever guilty as he couldn't complete his wish. What he heard next made him tremble and open his eyes wide. "Sair my dear son , my advice for you is no different from your brothers but a small change needs to be said I know your secret and always have known, so my advice for you is to find a man that's as strong as you. Remember, though you may not have children in the future I will always love you." These sentences were muttered but the voice that spoke became weaker and weaker summoning his last strength for his beloved sons as he was about to give a sigh he lost his last breath. Those words cause Sair immense happiness, guilt and sorrow. He hadn't told his father the truth for so long , he didn't rust his father to his secret and yet his father had accepted his secret with wide arms. He couldn't hold it back as he gave a wail of pain and relief. Leon shed a single tear and hugged his brother. This moment was remembered through history as the birth of the strongest clan heads to ever live and loss of their mentor through life. This names would be uttered with fear , awe and envy through a thousand eons.

Two days have passed Leon and Sair still sat at the chairs near their fathers corpse. The muscly pale bodies supporting one another in silence. "Let's go brother let's make dad proud!" Said Leon showing a grateful smile towards his brother and fathers covered corpse. "Yes let's go." Said Sair with his red bloodshot eyes tear stained cheeks and a mysterious smile. Their eyes glinting with ferocity and pride.

"So you're gay?" Asked Leon still smiling. Sair felt cold but nodded slowly, after all a man loving men was still considered wrong. "Yes" He said robotically. Leon's smile fell causing Sair to look apprehensively at his brother. "If you find a man show him to me first I wanna see if he's worthy of my little brother!" Said Leon gaining a playful smirk his eyes glinting mischief but also killing intent. "Stop that brother!" Said Sair embarrassingly but the happiness he felt was still felt through the radiance of his body.

They got up quietly and slowly , as if not to wake their father up from his eternal sleep. They went towards the door and smiled for the last time inside the room muttering with pride "thank you father" as Leon opened the door letting Sair pass first he looked back , in the room right atop his fathers covered corpse was a ethereal panda chewing on a bamboo. A cute site to see it could bring smiles to even the coldest people. The panda started to roll around for a bit and then disappeared breaking into thousands pieces of light shimmering away. He shook his head smiled and left closing the door behind him.
