The stars in the sky were nonexistent, as between him arose puffs of gray. Those balls of cotten seen during the day shifted into streams of gray the color of ash and soot. They blanketed the sky, hiding the full moon in it's full glory behind them. But the moon fought, oh how it fought to shine it's light on the earth. But the clouds stretched over the sky, giving it a hazy ominous feel.
Wounds ran down every corner of his body as he floated by a stream. He could hear footsteps running around, searching for him, but the gentle flow of the stream guaranteed he wouldn't be found. With the stream were trees, a few Pokemon looking at the king of Team Plasma, wandering what made him so ill. Perhaps the Masked Marauder doesn't give a crap about monarchy. After all, a king is only a title, it's skill who determines who's the winner.
On the edge of the stream were his sisters, Anthea and Concordia, looking at him with pity. They dropped their baskets and brought his body ashore, worried and sick.
Anthea took N and placed him atop her lap. Her arms were rapped around his face. "Brother, what happened?"
N said not a single word. His mouth remained shut.
"Concordia, is yours healed?"
"I believe, she's got the energy. Although, I wouldn't want to work her out too much."
"We've got no choice, Concordia. Our brother is dying. It will only be this once."
"There he is!" pointed Jenny's grunts. Fire crashed from the sky. The sisters and their brother were surrounded with a ring of flames. Anthea and Concordia looked up, seeing Zinnia and her Salamence slowing descending towards them.
Jenny's grunts confronted them from all corners. They took out their metal rods in which with one whack, can paralyze the opponents.
"We don't have much time. They're here for the victory Pokemon. We can't let them have it," said Anthea.
"I will see what I can do, Gardevoir, come out!"
A weakened and sick Gardevoir fell flat to the ground. She tried to stand, but she couldn't, and so her trainer helped her out. She wrapped her arms around Gardevoir's neck and rubbed her fur.
"Gardevoir, we need your help just this once," pleaded Concordia.
She stood by herself and extended her arms by force even if it was excruciating.
Zinnia was getting closer as well as her grunts.
Gardevoir's hands produced purple sparks, trying to form a portal. The sparks were getting shorter the more she tried, a symbol of a lose of hope.
"Gardevoir, you can do this. I know you can," said Concordia.
Gardevoir sent them to another portion of the forest, further from Zinnia and her brigandage. Gardevoir lost consciousness upon exiting the portal. She dropped the grass, her forehead turning purple. Concordia panicked, trying to awaken her Pokemon. Meanwhile, Anna focused on her brother, dragging his body to the nearby lake.
The lake was pure. Its current was subtle. Dusts of gold flew everywhere. The waters took N's body and tickled him. They entered his wounds, even the deep ones. Little by little, they were healed, until N was nothing more different than a newly born child.
His skin was smooth, not a single scratch was present. He stood from the waters, feeling energetic and well. Anna rushed to him and hugged N tightly. A drop of tear fell off her eyes.
"What happened?" asked Anthea.
N smirked. "It was nothing."
"Nothing? We wouldn't be here if it was nothing. Father's going to scold you upon hearing about this."
"I know him. He wouldn't."
They stepped out of the lake and went to Concordia who continuously shook her Gardevoir's body.
N knelt and extended his hand unto her neck. "What happened to her?"
"People," replied Concordia.
"I see. She has a mild fever, probably due to the overuse of her powers. Rest-assured, Gardevoir will be fine."
"N, we all know father's plan must commence if we are to stop more Pokemon ending up like Gardevoir," said Concordia.
"I am aware of that. Right now, my friends aren't strong enough to save all Pokémon. Maybe I can't solve the equation that will change the world. So, I need power... Power enough to make anyone agree with me."
"How are you planning to do that?" Anthea asked.
"Ghetsis is using Team Plasma to search for some special stones--the Light Stone and the Dark Stone... These stones hold the essence of two legendary Pokémon. It is said that when they lost their physical form, they fell into a slumber and were transformed. Now, they wait for the hero's arrival... I shall resurrect a legendary Dragon-type Pokémon from one of these stones, and become its friend. That will show the world that I am the new hero. Everyone will follow what I say! My vision is to change the world without using force. Trying to change the world by force will just make others resist. If people resist, the ones that will be hurt are the innocent Pokémon used by foolish Trainers. You understand. Pokémon are not just tools for people to use!"
