We used our van, an armored vehicle in which we used to surpass the snow. Though Oliver's shoes haven't been entirely fixed by the twins yet, he's still quite determined to drive for us but is a bit sleepy so that might be a hazard zone for us.
"Wake up!" Zeal alerted Oliver who nearly bumped at a nearby pine tree. His eyes were squinted because of the sleepiness succumbing to him. He was awakened by Zeal's tap and immediately he made the van turn left and halted for a while. After finally being able to catch up to his breath, Oliver took hold of the stirring wheel and continued driving.
I was awakened by that sudden incident but after knowing everything was going alright, I decided to head back to my sleep while we travel to the foot of the tallest mountain. It was a bumpy ride, not to mention our van traveled through a rough surface of not only snow but rocks as well. At the point where the van could no longer have the capacity to carry all of us, we parked it in the middle of the snowy woods, and from there, we relied on our feet.
It was not a biggie since the foot of the mountain was just meters from where we parked. Though, the only trial we had to face a huge chunk of snow and ice just crashing harshly to our skins. I had my thick woolly jacket and like before, it was no biggie.
The foot of the mountain led us to a cave and according to our map, this is what will lead us to the very top of the mountain, the place in which the Spear Pillar lies ahead. The cave, unlike the outdoors, was able to give us warmth for the rock sheltered us from the face of the terrible, terrible wind and the tough snow.
There was water dripping everywhere, the stalactites hang above, it was the normal thing you would in just like every other cave out there except for the fact this one was much longer. The thing is, this mountain has a ton of entrances which makes the whole mountain itself a maze. But with our team captain and his trusty map leading the way, what could possibly go wrong?
"Just a little more to the right, we'll be able to reach the entrance-"
"To the top?" interrupted the twins.
"No, to the second half of the cave." Vizion corrected.
"To the second half?! We've been walking for more than an hour and now you tell me we've barely made it to the top?!" Zeal grumbled, stressed after hearing the news.
"Am I to be blamed? It's not my fault, blame whoever created the region." Vizion replied sarcastically.
"Regigigas, wherever that Pokemon is." Copper yawned while joining the conversation.
"Regigigas? I've heard of that name before, wasn't that-"
"Yeah, basically the father of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel." Copper cut my statements and finishing it for me.
"Humph." I pouted. He's always interrupting me, and I'm getting tired of it. This is the countless time he did that to me.
Along our way, just following Vizion's instructions, we were able to encounter strange noises of irregular footsteps sounds that are not in accord with us. This was a bit baffling since we thought there were a group of Team Galactic grunts behind us but it only turned out to be Logan, Dawn, Lucas, and the champion, Cynthia.
Well, I was glad to see them, especially Logan, but my other teammates were quite uncomfortable around them maybe because Cynthia was here with the top three leading trainers of the whole Sinnoh Region.
"Logan?"
"Luna?"
The two of us were shocked to see each other meddling in our own pathways. Then came Charlotte, "Okay, you know him?"
"Well, um, yeah. He's the one who gave me-"
"Yeah I know, the key. But you didn't t-"
"Relax, Charlotte." I calmed her down, I knew where she was trying to lead this conversation.
Then came the champion from behind the trainers and that is when they were intimidated. A bizarre appearance, for all eight of them but a splendid surprise for me. I approached them confidently and simply asked, "What brings the four of you here?"
"Team Rocket? Huh, the question is what on Earth is your organization doing here?" Dawn queried, squinting her eyes at me.
"Oh now you think we're some sort villains!" then, Grace joined the conversation and was angry at Dawn who for her, thought was some sort of hypocrite.
"Well, I did my research! Team Rocket is an evil organization whose base was founded in Kanto!" Dawn enraged at the young little lass and dared to have a debate with her.
"You're heading too far right there!" Copper joined the debate and sided with Faith while Lucas sided with Dawn. An argument arose between all of them as me and Logan tried to handle our respective sides and stop a rising argument between them. Though our efforts weren't really that useful for no matter how we tried to quench the fighting, they would always find ways to buzz in.
The battle was led to a Pokemon match. Vizion and Copper dared to challenge the trainers. From a simple misinterpretation to a battle of mockery and insults and now the mountain serves as a battlefield. I and Logan tried to stop the fight but it ended up turning far worse and instead we got ourselves involved.
"Whoa, relax," I told my team.
"Those trainers started it first!" Charlotte excused.
"Well yeah, they just misinterpreted things." I clarified.
"And what do you mean by that?" then came the champion who silenced both our sides. She walked closer to me with her muscular dragon Pokemon, Garchomp. I flinched, my arms couldn't move as so as the rest of my body except for my mouth and throat which kept on choking my very own saliva as the champion continued to walk closer to me.
