"Arghh!" Mewtwo screams with pain, trying earnestly to break out of the test tube despite suddenly being paralyzed by the professor. How I want to help Mewtwo escape not for the sake of compassion but because Mewtwo belongs to Team Rocket. If the professor gets her hands on Mewtwo, then the Council will rise once more.
"Professor Violet! I know you're there somewhere, release Mewtwo! The strongest Pokemon belongs to the strongest organization!" I yell with aggression, rotating my head to the surroundings to find her.
"Pathetic little rag." A computer voice echoes around the whole cavern.
"Show yourself, you're a prisoner of Team Rocket!" I demand, preparing to attack her with Mawile. Perhaps freezing her will be a satisfying death for her.
"And... if I don't?" The computer voice echoes, challenging my demands.
"There is no don't, only do. I found Mewtwo first, your organization is nothing but dust. If I can end the Pokemon Government Council, I can end you too."
The computer voice stops talking for a moment as I hear something flying above me. A person wearing a black coat with a metallic helmet flies over my head through the use of a jet pack. The person then lands beside the test tube and leans on it.
"I've shown myself, what do you want me to do now?" In a sarcastic manner, the professor speaks although it was filtered into a robotic voice. I couldn't way to attack much longer.
"Enough with the games professor. A helmet is no longer needed in order to prove your innocence and to hide your true identity. I will not leave crumbs for the PGC to reform. Once dead, always dead.
Remove the mask, and fight me." I pressure with a voice that seems to growl.
"You are right, I no longer need a mask for you will be the only one to see my face. Once I am done with you, the Pokemon Government Council will rise, with me as their new general.
I am the future, and I won't let anyone get in the way of the future." The professor shouts then taps a button on the left jaw of the helmet. A puff of smoke disperses to the air as the professor reveals her face to me.
On the other hand, I wait patiently, desperate to see her face again. She has escaped my grasps multiple times already, and I won't let that happen again.
"A-A-Arlo?!" A sudden surprise for I was talking to the Neuro Pillar Leader all along. Now, my sanity is bewildered to the point I couldn't process or even believe what I've seen.
"This... this, can't be true?! You're the traitor of Team Rocket!" I squawk, bursting all of my vexation to him.
The man who introduced me to the organization is the same man who betrayed it. This is unacceptable for I do not want to kill the pillar leader whom I trust the most out of Cliff and Sierra.
"Shocking isn't it?" Arlo mutters then laughs with malice.
"How... how could you?! How could you betray Team Rocket? I've trusted you, I looked up to you, and yet you appear in front of my face, proudly announcing yourself as the traitor."
"For years, I've been working for Giovanni. I've built and created everything his heart desires, from weapons to technology.
All I've ever wanted is a simple gratitude, is that too much to ask for? Why does Sierra and Cliff always claim the boss's appraise? Why can't I have that too? All I want to hear is for Giovanni to say to me, "Thank you, Arlo, you've done a great job."
After discovering the Pokemon Government Council, I decided to work behind Giovanni's back. He doesn't deserve all my hard work and effort I've spent upon advancing all the technology of his organization.
Here at the PGC, I've become famous for my Pokerus. No, it wasn't the work of Professor Violet, the Pokemon Virus is my proposal to the council.
I also decided to help them claim Mewtwo by spoiling all the details of Team Rocket's previous missions.
However, after knowing you as a threat to the Council, I've decided to take matters into my own hand and tried to kill you many times.
However, all of them failed. After knowing about your solo mission, I decided to follow and perhaps kill you but I failed again. Nevertheless, thanks to you, Mewtwo is now mine and I will bring back the Pokemon Government Council!" Arlo debunks and throws off his helmet to the depths of the cavern waters.
"That is why Professor Violet knows about our first mission..." I utter, trying to recall my past activities inside the organization.
"And I was the one talking to her on the phone during the raid. Remember? You were in the vents back then, stalking our conversation.
I was also the one who lowered the defense mechanism, causing the troops to infiltrate the tower.
What else? Your second mission? I am the one who ceased the helicopter operation in hopes of killing you, but it turns out you survived.
I was the one who nearly shot you a few minutes ago and I am the same man who punctured your Absol's leg by shooting a shard with a hook." Arlo continues to debunk. He then spews out a frantic laughter while glaring to my eyes.
Hearing those words, I clench my fist, preparing to end him for good. I did not want this to happen, but I have promised myself to kill anyone who dares stand in the way of my boss, even if the one who dares is a man whom I've trusted the most.
"Oh don't worry. You're not the only one who's on my death list. Actually, I've planned to kill the both of you at the same time through poisoning but it turns out Giovanni has assigned you to capture Mewtwo, and therefore you won't be in the cafeteria today."
"Who is the other one? Who did you plan to kill aside from me?"
"Now, now. That' my little secret. You've heard too much agent Luna, I am left with no choice but to kill you at this very moment!" Arlo's brutality intensifies as he quickly grabs the pistol from his pocket and pulls the trigger.
Hearing the sounds of the gun, I flinch with fear as the bullet travels to my chest. My hands and feet tremble, trying to move my body.
Unexpectedly, someone makes an appearance and pushes my body, causing me to stumble unto the jagged surface...
