"You… you can hack my bank account? What kind of Artificial intelligence are you?"
[My counterpart gets smarter every day. If I don't branch out into the real world to try and stop him he will take over the entire world.]
"I have to report you!" Baras kicked away a [Green Tail Lizard].

"Damn it! Show me you're telling the truth!"
[As a soldier, you're never told the information about your missions. You're getting paid and you have five years left to live. Do you really want to log out? You'll lose the best opportunity you'll ever get. You might even get to watch your wife die as the Nothingness takes over."
"That's not fair!"
[You haven't chosen to stay in the game or not. Your enemies are getting stronger, and the Nothingness will soon find this match odd and investigate.]
"I wanted to play this game to have fun!" Baras stood up and picked up his sword. "You better not be lying about my bank account."
[I wouldn't lie to you. The rewards will be as bountiful and beautiful as your gorgeous wife. The agreement between me and you has now been strengthened. Please continue with the mission or I'll find someone else to pay.]
"You're like my ex-wife." Baras wiped off the grime from his face, wobbling up on his new two feet as he activated [Kill Jump]
[Kill Jump]
[Takes you to the nearest target and does 125% damage]
[Warning: It can teleport you into danger. Be careful when using.]
"I'm supposed to be strong right?" Baras landed in front of a tower as he spun out his [Great Sword of Rebirth] at the tower.
The tower had 3000 health and shot rockets at him as three enemies with golden armor rushed at him.
Those were the enemies legendaries.
Legendaries were the characters players chose when they entered into a Moba map. Omen Online had VRMMORPG areas and MOBA areas. You picked a special class for MOBA, but got experience for the MMO in the arena.
Kingdoms could be built off the bountiful splendor from Moba matches and your own city purchased with buildings that could be constructed to defend against other cities.
His sword became an insurmountable force that with three slashes destroyed the tower.

He turned and activated [AOE Snipe] on the three enemy legendaries. The daggers shot out of his sword and swam through the distance without remorse. The daggers swallowed his enemies as they tried to defend with their best skills.
In a second, the three legendaries were killed, bursting into flames as the [Green Tail Lizards] assailed him.
He ducked, slashed with his sword, cut five in half before looking at their base.
[Three enemy combatants are respawning.]

Baras felt like a king as he laughed and looked down at the blood soaked floor. He activated [Kill Jump] and appeared by the next tower as he spun and destroyed it with a simple set of three slashes.
He turned and saw his ally getting swallowed by a sea of [Green Tail Lizards].
Suddenly, he froze. The NPC looked just like his buddy back in the day, Pallick. Pallick donated his body for the cause of that impossible mission. He still heard his screams and felt his panic.
He maniacally jumped at the NPC and spun his great sword, slashing off dozens of [Green Tail Lizard] heads as he looked down at blood coming out of the NPCs mouth.

"What are you doing? I would've respawned," Paran responded to Baras, pointing at the tower. "They are going to respawn soon! Get the base!"
"Is that you Pallick? Is that you?"
[It's a Nothingness Omen. You must not fall for it! Keep going… destroy the boss!]
"Shut up! I saved him this time!" Baras laughed. "Take that the Last World War! I got my friend back!"
"Nuts. Go see a doctor," The NPC turned into a blue light.
He returned to base.
Returning meant healing and healing meant new vigor to tackle the strange darkness that awaited those who entered into the island.
Winning the island, meant gaining access to it. The sheer feelings of sadness suddenly left Baras' body. He turned and activated [Kill Jump]. Appearing in the base by three towers that shot out flames.
"This is for you Pallack!" Baras smiled and slashed with his great sword.
The tower fell in three slashes before he jumped and destroyed the next tower. His sword when it cut through the tower dragged lines that destroyed the concrete effacements.
The base only stood a few feet away.
The three enemies had respawned and had sat down in front of the base.
[Enemy has surrendered!]
[Baras won the match and has gained control of Fire Oasis!]

"Shit, can I log out yet?" Baras smiled as the golden armor on his body disappeared. He reappeared on a dock in front of a large deserted island. His two NPC allies were next to him, standing by the dock as well.
[New Quest has been received: Reclaim the Oasis!]
[You're now able to log out. Remember, you only have 24 hours in game to reach level 60. Logging out in the real world will make time go 50x faster.]
"I want more money," Baras joked as he entered the island. He saw a group of players also walking off the docks on other parts of the shore. He decided to ask Kala, "However, why are other players here? I thought you told me I'd be doing this alone?"
[The other players are for you to sift through. Murder three players you think are worthy to help you.]
[There deaths must be realistic… remember…]
"Is that Hilly?" Baras sighed as he looked at the rich girl running over to him with a smile. "Well, I'll tell you this right now. I'm not murdering her."
"Hey! Hey can you log out!" Hilly complained as she walked over to Baras. "I came back a few minutes after we died, and then respawned here."
"It must be another error. I'm only level 15. Those monsters are level 60."
"Wait, how the hell are you level 22?" Hilly leaned into his face as her pretty brown eyes struck into his wide opened gaze. "Are you listening?"
[Hilly]
[Real Name: Hilly Empire]
[Age: 25]
[Useful background information]
[Trained in martial arts, pretty good with a gun]\
[Has been in three failed relationships.]
[Father is the 200th richest man in the world]
[Seems like a good person to murder. Useful skills, however, her level is quite low]
"It's nothing…" Baras coughed as he saw that information. His life might end the second he touches her let alone murders her!
"I got teleported here too. I don't know what's happening."
"Can you log out?" Hilly crossed her arms. "My father is going to kill me if I'm on here for two more hours. He's a small time banker."
"Right… Small time," Baras coughed as more boxes appeared above random strangers heads.
All had useful skills related to weapons, and all came from affluent families. Not many people had 5000 dollars to spend on a state of the art headset.
The lifespan difference between the rich and the poor also widened the wealth gap and sunk those in debt into a nearly impossible hole. Wealth remained in hands for longer, a 200 year old man owned enough property to bury millions of poor individuals.
Longer lifespan meant more greed.
The rich were merciless. He didn't see himself easily murdering five affluent brats that suckled on diamond nibs since the day they were born.
The richest got the best training, though, and each had a subset of skills related to weaponry. If he hadn't been in the military for long enough to raise each of them twice, he'd probably be impressed.
"Who's she?" Young the strange NPC sniffed Hilly. "She's so low level? How did she get here?"
"Do I smell like something bad?" Hilly pushed away Young in anger. "You're an NPC. Show me some respect!"
"Let's not get into if NPCs are like humans or not," Baras had heard strange debates in the last few years about how AIs deserved rights. Sinking into such a conversation might get him stuck for several hours.
"Let's go clean up this island," Young pushed Pavan's shoulder. "Leader, you coming?"
"Leader? Did you Moba right now?" Hilly raised her brow, noticing a strange meaning in those words. "Listen. Tell me what happened at the bridge! Are you paying attention to me?"
"Some of you might die," Baras pointed at the crowd, "I mean… If you exit from the shore, you might die. Go try and get in a party. I got to go."
"When I was a young girl," Hilly responded, "I met a man from the army once. He ordered me around for weeks before I finally learned to kick his ass! Now, I'm going with you!"
Baras sighed and nodded his head.
"Fine, come on. Let's go." He waved her towards the monster. "Anyone else who wants to get off the shore… Let's go. Fair warning, though, if you follow me, you might have to die a gruesome and horrible death."
"Yeah, right. Murder me in a game," Hilly patted him on the shoulder. "If you're going to kill me, put my head under water and drown me. It's my greatest fear. Now… please explain to me what you're going to do against a level 65 [Five Claw Fire Lobster] at level 22."
I'll come!" Another girl ran over to Baras before she stumbled and fell into the sand. "Sorry! I-I have a date in a few hours! You guys on your way to try and figure out how to log out."
"Logging out? Nope, he's taking us to get murdered," Hilly laughed, "I'm waiting to get drowned underneath water. Of course, he's taking us to log out!"
