Chapter 1 - Prologue

Chaos reigned throughout the ten nations of the world called Solanthion, that ended in a great war between the ten mightiest races, Eladrin, Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Elementals, Tieflings, Dragons, Skin-walkers, Orcs and Titans. It was caused by famine, plagues, and the greedy, violent nature of the hearts of these ten races. The realm was charred black, the cities and villages torched red from the war as armies marched and tore through them vying for control over Solanthion. No one was safe and no place was left unscathed from the war. The grounds ran red with the blood of all the races of Solanthion as bodies laid scattered across battlefields and wastelands, scavengers tearing and eating at the flesh of the dead carcasses that laid scattered around the realm for the death rate was faster than the dead could be buried.

As the world continued to tear itself asunder, ten lone individuals from each of the races came together, all sick of a war who's cause and purpose had long since been forgotten, to find a way to stop the war and unnecessary bloodshed between themselves and bring wealth, hope and prosperity back to the world of Solanthion. They decided to call themselves The Order and brought it upon themselves to end a war and chaos that had ripped through the world before it was too late to and they fought and killed each other to extinction. The ten individuals set out on their epic cause and began recruiting those in secret that felt the same way about the war and just wanted it over and done with amassing a great number of followers and fighters to halt the many armies and finally ending the war that had raged on for eons.

Afterwards, before the dust finally settled in the world the original ten individual came back together and decided that the world couldn't be left to their own devices again and decided to establish The Order as the form of government of Solanthion so when everything was finally settled no one question The Order's position in the new world. The ten decided to form a council with twelve seats and each of their races would be granted one seat on the council whose representative would be voted upon by their race alone. However, it was decided that due to the Eladrin and Elves longevity and millenniums of wisdom that they were to be granted a second seat on the council.

The council's job was making laws to be enforced throughout all the realms of Solanthion to ensure that there was order so Solanthion would not have to face another Great War as it had become known. The council realized however, that they would need a group of people to enforce their laws and set out to recruit two hundred of the fiercest warriors that had fought alongside them in the Great war, creating their own personal army and enforcers of the world naming them Elites, as only the best of the best accepted and was considered a high honor.

Soon peace and prosperity returned to the land of Solanthion under The Orders rule but after centuries of peace, corruption, greed and power-hungry individuals found their ways in on the seats of the Grand Council, as they had decided to call it, causing The Order to become exactly what it had been created to stop in the first place. Eventually became so unbearable for one council member that he left the council and the order entirely, something that was unheard of and started a coup to overthrow The Order. Many that had suffered under The Order's tyranny eagerly joined his cause sparking a rebellion, and for the last century war has raged between the Rebel Army and The Order for power and complete dominance over Solanthion….
