"Oh, yes. Okay then, bye, guys. See you tomorrow.", said Chole with a smile while rushing to her father.
"See you" "Bye", all of them bade farewell to Chole while heading to the school gate happily.
"Ok then, guys, from here we have to get separated.", said Aurora with a smile as she used to share a different home route than her friends.
"Yes, wish we all live in the same neighbourhood.", said Ophelia sadly.
"Yeah but you will miss the school bus if you don't head now.", said Madison while pulling Ophelia's cheek and showing her the school bus which was about to leave.
"Oh, yup. Got to go, guys.", said Ophelia hurriedly while rushing to catch up with her bus.
"Bye" "See you", said Abigail, Emily, Scarlet, Madison and Aurora while watching her getting into the bus.
"Okay then, I will take my leave too. See you guys tomorrow.", said Aurora with a smile.
"Okay, Aurora. Take care.", said Abigail, Emily and Madison happily.
"Don't worry much.", said Scarlet while patting her head.
"Okay, thank you and careful on your way home.", said Aurora while nodding her head with a smile.
Then Aurora turned away from them and started to walk away from there. Aurora's mood was a little bit heavy and she was lost in her thoughts while walking alone.
Scarlet who could understand Aurora being in an off mood said to Emily, Abigail and Madison who shared the same home direction as her, "Guys, you carry on. I will catch up with you in a while."
"Hey, where are you going???", asked Emily curiously.
"Near there. Keep walking. I will catch up with you guys later.", said Scarlet turning away from them hurriedly.
"Okay, take care. Then see you and hurry up fast. We will be waiting.", said Abigail and Madison from behind while watching her leave.
"Okay…", said Scarlet while looking at them by turning behind and then rushing towards Aurora.
"Hey, hey, Aurora.", added Scarlet while wrapping her hand around Aurora's shoulder by side hugging her and gasping for breath to catch up as she rushed to her the whole way by running.
"Hey, how come you are here???", exclaimed Aurora surprisingly.
"How can I let you go in this off mood???", questioned Scarlet while pointing her finger to Aurora's face and roaming it around.
"Nothing like that.", said Aurora while shaking her head.
"Don't have to hide. You are just a baby to me. I can easily see through you. Now put away your acting and say me what's going on.", said Scarlet while pulling Aurora's cheeks.
"Well, I was thinking about today's incidents.", said Aurora in a depressing voice.
"Hmm, like I thought. Then what is troubling, what are you planning to do. Tell me everything clearly. Let your heart out and you will feel better.", said Scarlet while side hugging Aurora.
"Lucas talked with me after years today but I know, he is up to no good and I am afraid, Scarlet.", said Aurora in a shaky heavy voice while lowering her head.
"Hey, don't be like this.", said Scarlet while lifting her face.
"I can't guess his actions like before. I am not sure what he is trying to do and what will happen next... You know what kind of person Lucas is…", said Aurora in a frustrated voice.
"I know he is a sly guy but don't worry we will figure out what he is up to together. So, don't stress out yourself.", said Scarlet in a serious voice.
"Hmmm, he is there with no good… I have seen a lot of downs because of him in the last two years… I don't want to face them again.", said Aurora in a depressed voice.
"Don't worry nothing will happen.", said Scarlet while patting Aurora's head.
"But Scarlet…" Aurora was about to protest Scarlet's words again but before she could say anything Scarlet hugged her warmly and said in a gentle voice which was a mixture of some worries and seriousness while creasing Aurora's hair, "Listen to me, forget about the past. Shake everything about it and Lucas off. Think about something else and focus on other things. Moreover, if you behave like this, Lucas will win because this is what he wants. Do you want him to win and overtake you???"
"No, I don't want that.", said Aurora in a serious voice while shaking her head by facing Scarlet.
"Good, then fix your mood and leave all those unpleasant things about that bastard Lucas.", said Scarlet with a smile while pulling Aurora's nose happily.
"Hmmm.", nodded Aurora with a smile while touching her nose as Scarlet had almost pulled her nose out.
"Good girl, now tell me what else is bothering you???", asked Scarlet while pulling Aurora to a side hug again.
"Nothing else.", said Aurora with a smile while shaking her head.
"Again, don't you feel ashamed to say those white lies on my face???", exclaimed Scarlet while flicking Aurora's forehead by being mad like a cute little fox.
"Fine… fine… I will tell you.", said Aurora like a helpless cat who gave in to the charm spell of a fox spirit.
"Good girl.", said Scarlet happily like a fox waging her tail by achieving her goal and added with a distrustful foxy expression, "But you don't have to say as I will ask you from now on because you will again lie to me."
"Thinking about that newbie Nathan, right???", asked Scarlet again curiously wagging her foxy tail around.
"Huh??? How do you know that???", exclaimed Aurora surprisingly while looking at Scarlet like a cat who got caught while stealing from the fridge.
"Remember, I was the one said you to bother with him if he is a good student.", said foxy Scarlet while winking to Aurora with a smile.
"Oh, yes, you are right.", exclaimed Aurora while recalling about it.
"Now tell me what is bothering you about him.", said Scarlet in a serious voice.
"He is excellent in many ways.", said Aurora wearing a long face while sighing depressingly.
"And you are fearing that he will overtake you and he will also turn into be a devil like Lucas later on???", questioned Scarlet while looking at Aurora.
"Hmmm.", nodded Aurora with a deep breath while lowering her head and focusing on walking.
"God!!! Girl, nothing like that will happen. You will overtake him and as far as I observed that guy, he seems like a nice one, unlike Lucas. Remember as I said before, innocent type, you know a bit nerdy.", said Scarlet while pulling Aurora's cheeks and thinking about Nathan's behaviours during school time by still holding Aurora's cheeks.
"Hmm, he is nice as you are saying but he is from XKG, how can I take him over??? What if he overtakes me??? I am so tired and I don't have any energy to compete with others now.", said Aurora while resting her head tiredly on Scarlet's shoulder.
"Hey, Aurora, don't be disheartened. You are the best of our school and you would have been in a school like XKG now if our school was not near your home and your parents didn't take those offers from the rest of the top schools ahead ours in the ranking by considering your safety as you are not good at taking care of you all by yourself.", said Scarlet while patting Aurora's head which was resting on her shoulder.
"Hmm, I know but still I am afraid that he will partner up with Lucas. Then it will be hard for me to handle two guys together. I am so tired Scarlet.", said Aurora while sighing sadly.
"Don't give up yet. We just got to know that he is good and capable at studies than Lucas but his capability will be judged in the next month during the first term.", said Scarlet while holding Aurora's face in her palms by stop walking.
"Yes, but still…", Aurora hesitated while wearing a long face.
"No but or what. Just focus on your goal and your target. Work so hard that he won't be able to catch you up. Now fix your mood and smile.", said Scarlet while pulling Aurora's cheeks and then wearing a teasing smile at the end.
"Thank you so much, Scarlet. You are the best.", said Aurora happily while hugging Scarlet.
"No need to thank me but still I know that I am the best.", said Scarlet happily while creasing Aurora's hair and then winking at her mischievously at the end by releasing her from the hug.
Then Scarlet started to tickle Aurora which made her laugh out, "Hahaha… Scarlet… No…. Please, don't…."
"Your mood is finally fixed.", said Scarlet happily while looking at smiling Aurora by stop tickling her.
"All thanks to you.", said Aurora while wiping the tears in the corner of her eyes that were popped out because of her laughing hard due to Scarlet tickling her.
"Okay then, we have already walked almost near your home. Now go home, get fresh and focus with your goals.", said Scarlet while wrapping her hand around Aurora's shoulder.
"Oh, we are already there. I didn't realize it because of my being lost with talking with you. You must be getting late too. I will take my leave. Then thank you, Scarlet, for always being there and sorry for delaying you today and troubling you always.", said Aurora with a smile by taking a look at the way to her home while standing next to Scarlet where there was a touch of guiltiness in her voice at the end.
"Come here, you little thing. Are you asking for a beat??? No such a thing like delaying or troubling. Don't you call me daddy from the first year we met??? So, I am just doing my job as your daddy.", said Scarlet while flicking Aurora's forehead.
"Ow, my sweet daddy, I love you.", said Aurora happily while hugging Scarlet.
"Love you too. My dear daughter, now, stop being clingy to me and go home. I got to catch up with them too.", said Scarlet while patting Aurora's head.
"Okay then, take care on your way home.", said Aurora with a smile while releasing Scarlet from her hug.
"Okay, bye and see you tomorrow.", said Scarlet by stepping away from Aurora while waving her hand with a smile and walking away from her.
"Bye… See you tomorrow…", Aurora bade farewell to Scarlet happily while waving her hand and watching Scarlet walking away from behind by standing there.
"Hmm, seems like they are so close to each other. That girl, Scarlet can easily make her happy and Aurora looks more pretty when she smiles.", chuckled Nathan by mumbling to himself while watching Aurora and Scarlet through a car window by sitting in the back seat of the car.
"Done for today. Let's go.", said Nathan asking the driver to drive away by seeing Aurora entering to her home route while closing the glass of the car window and focusing back to some files he was reading.
