Chapter 10 - Day 1 Clean up

"Ok now to clean up our mess." I said looking at the shopkeeper. "Come here now."

"Yes Master, how may I serve you?" The shopkeeper asked as he came over to me.

"I want you to look through your clothes and find us both some clothes that will fit us and then go and get all your money you have and a few nice weapons." I ordered.

The shopkeeper walked around and choose 3 different sets of clothing for Cain and I. He sized them up to us and found us 3 full sets. Mine was a nice semi casual set, a formal set and a traveling set. He also found me a very nice cloak that would keep me dry and warm in the colder nights. Cain got 2 more full sets of butler attire and a casual traveling set with a rain cloak.

"Master I don't know how much longer my bite will keep him in check. My bite has never lasted this long before." Cain told me with concern and pride as well.

"I am not worried about it as I can control him if I need to as it isnt hard for me to do." I replied annoyed.

I called the shopkeeper over and reinforced my orders with him and sent him off to get the money and weapons. He came back with 4 very nice small knives and his bag filled with money. He put the 4 knives out and unsheathed them slowly. Two were very pretty and great wall pieces but not worth anything to be used in actual game play. There was one that caught my eye and I decided that I had to have it. The other I noticed that it was very simple and would be very easy to clean. I decided I would use that knife to hide his death and and the fact we fed on him. I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and realised that we were still be watched. Again I reinforced my orders and sent him back with the 2 knives that I wasn't interested in at all. We then started to haggle over the price for the knife. I had Cain keep a slight eye on the window. A chime and notification was heard and I saw II had a message. Opening it up I saw that it was from Devlin and he wanted to let me know that the woman left finally. He was heading to the tavern to wait for us so we needed to hurry it up.

I put the knife I wanted on to my belt and then picked up the other knife. I walked around the counter and pulled the shopkeeper towards the back of the shop.

"Cain take off your jacket and shirt so you dont get your new clothes covered in blood also put the new sets of clothes in your inventory so you can carry them when we go to leave here." I ordered

"Yes master," Cain replied as he put the clothes in his inventory and started to take off his jacket and shirt.

I took the knife and cut a small slit on the left side of his neck and then told Cain to not use his teeth to feed and just use the cut. I then cut a small slit on the right side for Cain to use. I then struck and started feeding.

Cain looked at me and said "he will not remain enthrall doing it this way."

I pulled back and said, "I dont want him to be enthralled while we feed I want him to know his death is coming."

I went back to feeding and this time Cain joined me. The shopkeeper came two and started quietly begging for us to spare him. I heard a chime and pulled away as my feeding meter was full so I no longer needed to feed. A couple minutes later I got the chime that Cain was full as well.

"Cain stop feeding you are full." I ordered.

He stopped feeding and looked at me. "Master he is still alive, I thought we were going to kill him."

"No more feeding on him, go clean yourself up and put your clothes back on." I replied.

Cain left to do as I told him to do. I watched the shopkeeper who was very weak start to relax thinking that he would be live through this encounter. I thought for a moment about maybe making him a vampire as I could use a good tailor at my castle to make me clothing but he would fight me too much as he hates vampires. So he will have to die instead.

"You know you would of lived anice and safe life had you not of tried to kill us. You could of treated us like normal customers accepted our money and then you of grown to an old age and would of been fine. But instead you set off an alarm when we didnt do anything and still when we were nothing but polite and simple customers you tried to shower us with holy water and kill us. So this is causing your death today. I am very sorry that you had to die but you gave us no choice at all but to kill you." I said sadly as I put the knife in his hand and had him slit his throat connecting the two smaller slits into one and I made sure that it was deep enough that he couldn't cry out or speak.

I watched his life leave his eyes and the pool of blood form around his body. I then walked over to the money and picked it up and put it in my inventory. Seeing a mirror I walked over to it and made sure I had no blood on my face or body anywher. I was clean and neat and orderly.

Cain came out of the bathroom in the back looking like nothing happened. He glanced at him and sighed, "The death blood at the moment of death is the most sweet but at least this way that wont tie us to his death. They will look at a robbery or at the Fay that you had him say would cause his death tomorrow. That was very smart thinking Master."

"Now when I walk out I want you to lock the door and then head upstairs. You are to look around and take some of the valuables that you find up there and then make it look like a robbery or that someone was looking for something. I then want you to open up the window and exit out the window so that way the shop is locked up and it looked like he went upstairs for the night and opened his window to let in some fresh air. Do not mess up the blood puddle and be quick but through." I ordered Cain to do that.

"By your command Master, your wish is my command." Cain replied with a bow.

I exited the shop saying loudly, "Thank you for your service, please have a great day. Your clothing is as top notch as I was told it was."

Cain locked the door as I ordered and I watched him head to the back and start up the stairs.

"Hello", came an unknown voice behind me.

I turned around to see who spoke to me.
