Khyle's Point of View
I was busy chatting with my mom to prepare all the needed things in our house. I was planning to tell her everything there but then,
"H-Have we met b-before?" she suddenly ask making me stop from eating the ice cream that I ordered.
I cleared my throat first then smile at her. I still don't have plans on telling her the truth since if that happens it will ruin everything I planned at home.
She was about to say another word when her phone started to ring, a sign that someone is calling her.
I watched her took out her phone from her bag and answered it.
Keren's Point of View
I was in the urge of asking Khyle another question when my phone started to ring. I then took it out of my bag and saw my best friend Franz on the Caller ID.
"Oh, Franz? Buti naalala mo pa ako! I thought you never will call me again. Haha!" I joked as I answered the call. But after that I didn't heard any reply from Franz.
"Hey? Are you still there?" I asked. I tried looking at the phones caller ID and it was really Franz's number. But why isn't she saying anything?
"Huy, Pransiya--"
"How can you do this to me, K-Keren?" at last I heard her answer. But.. why is her voice different? And what is she saying??
"Did what?" I asked confused. What did I have done? Wait.. did I have done anything wrong?
"I told you.. I told you I liked him! But how can you do this to me! How can you betray me as your friend?!" she began raising her voice and I somehow hear him near me. Not just in the phone but actually here at this place we're at.
"I-I can't understand you, Franz. Ano bang sinasabi mo?" I also began to be annoyed. What is she even talking about. Betray? Her? Like the heck with that!
I was about to say something on the phone when someone grabbed my hair from my back and there I saw her.
"A-Aray!" I shouted in pain. Shit! Pakiramdam ko ang anit ko ay parang mapupunit na ata sa sobrang higpit at lakas ng pagkakahila niya.
"Yah!" I heard Khyle shouted but Franz didn't stop. She still continue pulling my hair that made me shouted more in pain.
'Damn her! What the heck is she doing?! And fvck! Why is she doing this?! Shit!'
"A-Ahhhhhh!!"
"You're such a slut! Malandi ka! Loser and a cry baby!" she shouted at me. I can't take it anymore. It's just.. to much!
"Let.. go of me!" sigaw ko sabay tulak sa kaniya dahilan paraabitawan niya ako at mapaupo sa sahig. And from there I faced her.
"What the heck is wrong with you, Franz?! Like what is your problem?!" sigaw ko pa, 'yung tipong halos lahat ng ugat sa leeg ko ay lumabas na.
"What's my problem?" she asked with a smirk plastered on her face.
"You're my problem. You biatch!"
I didn't expect her to be this way. This is just so not her. What is happening with her??
"I told you I liked him, right? From the very beginning when he transferred! I told you that I liked him, Keren. I liked him soooo much!" she said while helping herself out standing.
"Tch! I even try to make a fans club for him pa nga, eh." she then added while a looking at the ceiling.
"But what happened?" she asked at then look straight into my eyes. "Inahas mo siya! Inagaw mo sya sa akin! Ahas ka!!" she shouted.
'What the fvck?!'
"Teka nga.. Ano bang pinagsasasabi mo d'yan, ha?! Franz, hindi ko sya inagaw sayo--"
"Kasi hindi mo naman ako kailan man naging pag-aari." I looked at Khyle as he said that. His face looks so serious. You can barely see any emotion in him.
"A-Ahhhhh!!" I saw how Franz shouted and after a second she's on the ground holding her head.
"Franz! Yah! What's wrong?!" I asked her and helped her get up but she keeps on refusing to.
"Let go of me!" she shouted but I didn't listen. I know we are bothering all of the customers in this cafe but what can we do?
"I said, Let--"
"Oh my god! Franz!!"
— FAST FORWARD —
Pagkalabas na pagkalabas ng Doctor mula sa ER ay agad na sinalubong namin siya ni Khyle.
"Kumusta na po an kaibigan ko, Doc? Bakit po sya nawalan ng malay?" I asked. Nalilito naman akong nilingon ng doctor.
"Kaano-ano nyo si Miss Valderama, hija?" tanong nito.
"Ah, kaibigan ko po sya." sagot ko naman at agad na nasilayan ko ang lungkot sa mukha ng doktor.
"Didn't she tell you?" pabitin na tanong ni Doc at mas lalo akong naguluhan.
"Tell us what, Doc?" I asked. Isang malalim na hininga naman ang pinakawalan ni Doc bago siya lumingon my diretso sa akin.
'Bakit bigla na lang akong kinabahan sa sasabihin niya?? Hindi naman siguro malala 'yung kondisyon ni Franz diba??'
"Miss Valderama..." he paused and let out a sigh again. Bakas sa mukha nitong nahihirapan siyang sabihin kung anong lagay ni Franz. Mas lalo tuloy akong kinabahan.

I was frozen. Damn! What the hell did the Doctor just said?? Brain Cancer? Stage 2?!
How can this be happening??
"This ain't true, right?" I asked but the doctor just shake his head.
I smiled bitterly hoping this is all just a stupid dream and now I want to wake up. But tears come running down into my cheeks.
